Rhetoric akin to, \"<em>Hate speech is not free speech,</em>\" and \"<em>When does free speech become hate speech?</em>\" has no place in the American judicial system. Regardless of how Berkley rioted in the face of provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos, there is no historical or legal precedent to convict those who say hateful things - on <em>any </em>basis - as doing something wrong. <strong>Everybody has the right to discriminate, even in matters of race, gender, religion, and culture</strong>. All constitutional bases against discrimination are to be understood within the context of the federal system and should never be enforced in the private sector.\n\n<strong>Individuals naturally discriminate</strong>. A very popular definition of discriminate is to \"recognize a distinction,\" or to make a decision influenced by one's prejudices against those who hold conflicting values or live their lives in a way contrary to the approval of a discriminator. Often, discriminators are discriminated against, making literally everyone on either side of the \"Discrimination Fence\" discriminatory, in a technical sense. Whenever one makes a decision based on personal values that naturally conflict with those that are hand, he or she is discriminating. So discrimination should not automatically be assumed as a derogative action. When one chooses not to sit in a broken chair, for example, he or she discriminates by rejecting the chair on the basis of its failure to accomplish that which one wishes it to do. And he or she is better of because of it.\n\nIn the opening paragraph of an <a href=\"http://northamericanmartyrs.org/pdf/Plea-for-Intolerance.pdf\">essay</a> titled <em>A Plea for Intolerance, </em>the late Ven. Fulton J. Sheen writes,\n\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">America, it is said, is suffering from intolerance. It is not. It is suffering from tolerance: tolerance of right and wrong, truth and error, virtue and evil… Our country is not nearly so much overrun with the bigoted as it is overrun with the broadminded. The man who can make up his mind in an orderly way, as a man might make up his bed, is called a bigot; but a man who cannot make up his mind, any more than he can make up for lost time, is called tolerant and broadminded.</p>\n\nThe venerable archbishop makes a valid point. Often, those who stand on unmoving values and refuse to compromise on matters of moral and social teaching are labeled \"bigoted\" or \"close-minded.\" Whereas those who cannot or choose not to make up their minds on any given topic are often considered to be the exact opposite, <em>i.e.,</em> \"tolerant\" or \"open-minded.\" <strong>The</strong> <strong>tolerant and open-minded, however, are those who stand for nothing</strong> except the concept of tolerance and open-mindedness themselves, and support no actual ideology; so it is that they believe in nothing and place their identity in nothing. In a heartfelt attempt to accept all peoples and identities, those who profess unconditional tolerance have come to stand for nothing, while those who are labeled \"intolerant\" for remaining steadfast in traditional values possess a substance to which they can answer for.\n\nAnd so it is with hate speech. There is nothing \"tolerant\" or \"open-minded\" about protesting or detesting hate speech, in fact, quite the opposite is manifested in the attempts to silence and censor those who seek to articulate unpopular opinions. <strong>If free speech does not allow hate speech, then it is meaningless in the first place</strong>.\n\nWe do not need a greater amount of individuals and peoples who choose to stand for nothing and oppose differing talking points on the basis of simply being offensive. If true discussion is to be had and if a synthesis is to be found in a dialectic, there must be an antithesis, and that predicates what many might label as \"hate speech.\" Disagreement is to be expected, and in fact should be encouraged, because disagreement with controversial claims is what leads to stimulating conversations regarding the topic at hand and in turn provides a satisfying conclusion.\n\nSo, in the advent of rampant campus liberalism and the continuous streams of protests flying in the face of certain controversial speakers, Squawker Media will squawk loudly into the winds of social media: <b>we need more hate speech, not less</b>.",

      "body": "In the last seven decades, fascism has almost always received the short end of the stick. Used as a pejorative against those who seek to employ patriotic authoritarianism as a means to promote a particular social cause, fascism is a political philosophy that has gone severely misrepresented ever since its nearly absolute vernacularizing after World War II.\n\n“I have often thought that if a rational Fascist dictatorship were to exist, then it would choose the American system.” – Noam Chomsky\n\nBeginning in the 1920s, communists began to lump all of their political and ideological opponents under the philosophical umbrella of “fascism,” due partially to Benito Mussolini’s adoption of the term which has been previously used in Italian trade unionism. One of Mussolini’s party’s symbols, the fasces, influenced the naming of the totalitarian political philosophy, a fasces being a bundle of wood or rods encasing a battle-axe, i.e., a weapon that is incredibly difficult to break but also may be considered painstakingly difficult to wield in times of crisis.\n\nBeginning (in)famously in Italy, fascism’s relatively most successful instance begins with a man by the name of Gen. Francisco Franco in Spain. Franco a Spanish general who became the fascist dictator of Spain in order to preserve it from Communist takeover. As a staunch traditional monarchist, Franco despised the abolition of a monarchy and the Spanish adoption of a republic in 1931. After a failed coup including the participation of other generals preceding the Spanish Civil War, Franco quickly became his faction’s only political leader and gained support from allied political parties such as the Nazi Regime and Fascist Italy, resulting in his victory against the Spanish communists (under the Republican party). In 1939, Franco established a military-enforced dictatorship wherein he ruled as El caudilo, the absolute governmental hierarch akin to the Fuhrer of Nazi Germany.\n\nFranco proceeded to enjoy his absolute rule over Spain for nearly 40 years, and although he is often vilified for having been a strict traditionalist dictator, his country experienced revival like never before. The disenfranchised were best taken care of in the history of Spain prior and since. Several Catholic individuals, including the late Álvaro del Portillo y Diez de Sollano and St. María de la Purísima Salvat Romero, have even undergone varying degrees of canonization. St. Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer y Albás also lived in Francoist Spain for a period of time (b. 1902 – d.1975).\n\nWorking as the primate of a military-empowered fascist regime, Gen. Franco successfully stabilized the Spanish economy during his crypto-monarchial reign. The Spanish Civil War, wherein the Spanish Communists (i.e. Republicans) fought against the aristocratic, royalist-Carlist, and pro-monarchial group headed by Franco, had nearly crippled the national Spanish economy having been allocated almost entirely to war efforts. After gaining power, Franco implemented an economic policy of self-sufficiency, which resulted in a horrific financial crisis until the 1950s, when industrial production began to regain pre-war output.\n\nIn 1953, Francoist Span signed a pact with the United States, headed by Dwight Eisenhower at the time, which resulted in a substantial amount of economic support from the U.S. in return for permitting the establishment of American military bases on Spanish land. For the next five years, Spain’s gross national product (GNP) would increase annually by 5%. In the 1960s and early 1970s, which would mark the inevitable end of Franco’s rule, fiscal and monetary efforts were made which resulted in the implementation of a Spanish free-market economy. Between the years 1959 and 1974, Francoist Spain saw the fastest growth in economy second only to Japan.\n\nWith the above information in mind, Franco represents that a fascist dictatorship is not necessarily a negative thing, that is, unless one is a staunch progressive leftist intent on disrupting the historical order of morality and government. Fascism closely represents the fasces itself, as it is an ideology that is difficult to wield but resembles great power and regality. Although often conflated with the Nazi movement and genocidal regimes, fascism is ultimately an ideology of force + traditionalism, dedicated to preserving “classical” methods of orchestrating economies, societies, and ideologies.\n\nMost notably, it is a political extremism often triggered by communist and leftist rampancy. As witnessed by the vast success experienced by Spain under the Francoist regime, it is safe to say that fascism is awesome, works, and is a reliable defense against those who seek to subvert traditional ethics and societal structures in favor of a Marxist utopia.",

And right now, it is time to discuss Sweden’s immigration crisis.\n\nWe can sweep the matter under a rug and pretend like Sweden is one of the most successful countries in the world. But Sweden’s national identity has been come to be defined by openness, both geographically and ideologically. This is fundamentally at odds with Swedish history. In the year 1900, only 0.7% of the Swedish population was foreign-born, and out of that small percentage, approximately 70% were from other Nordic countries and 15% percent hailed from North America, keeping intact the religious, social, and racial traditions that have defined what it means to be Swedish.\n\nBy 2010, however, approximately 1.3 million Swedish inhabitants (nearly 15%) were born outside of Sweden, with over 60% of that figure representing immigrants from countries outside of the European Union. Several well-known immigrant-inflicted acts of terror have been documented, including the 2015 Ikea stabbing (Eritrean perpetrator), the 2016 Sweden asylum center stabbing (Somalian perpetrator), and the 2017 Stockholm attack (Uzbekistani perpetrator). The Swedish National Council for Crime Prevention has even provided information concluding that North African Immigrants were 23 times more likely to commit rape than native Swedes, with Iraqi immigrants were 20 times more likely, Romanian and Bulgarian immigrants were 18 times more likely, and Sub-Saharan African immigrants were 16.5 time more likely. Today, Sweden is the rape capital of Europe due to its reception of refugees being granted citizenship.\n\nDespite the above findings that would convince any sane person to avoids mass immigration altogether, the Centre Party (Swed. *Centerpartiet*), a pro-immigration party in Sweden, has encouraged removing requirements for some degree of job skills and a clean criminal record, referencing Canada as an insignia of successfully receiving foreign immigrants.\n\nThe above data is what leads one to a completely logical conclusion: the United States should invade Sweden. The United States has a history of Swedish settlers during is colonial inception, with many Swedish colonists forming the colony of New Sweden in 1638, centered around the Delaware Valley. However, the colony was absorbed into New Netherland less than two decades later and ceased to be under the control of Swedish monarchs. As such, Swedish Americans have always been present in the shaping of American culture and have strong roots in both their Swedish heritage and American identity. What should those in the United States think when one of its most beloved historical acquaintances is rapidly becoming overrun by immigrants subscribing to ideologies inherently at odds with Swedish democracy? The answer is invasion and occupation.\n\nThis is not a cry of war against our Swedish brothers and sisters; rather, is a cry of reclamation against those who seek to subvert the Swedish people and pervert its national identity. Invasion via the establishment of American settlements in the Swedish world in order to recapture that spirit of Sweden and abolish the absurd amount of non-European immigration into a traditionally Nordic country will be the salvation of Sweden.\n\n#OccupySweden\n\nTo save the beauty and history of Sweden, the United States needs to take action, perhaps by building a wall around Sweden to end the EU’s actions of sending immigrants to Sweden in particular. Why will the Nordic people not fight foultir their countries? Historically, Europe has been proud of its national identity and has worked to defend it at all costs, but today, the advent of the European Immigration Crisis has essentially raped the definition of what it means to be Swedish. So how can Swedes reclaim their heritage and rip what is rightfully theirs from the hands of Islam? They must place their faith in the United States, in the hands of Trump, a global leader dedicated to putting a stop to mass immigration. Salvation for the Swedish people lies only in its invasion by United States.",

According to an article in the Journal of Child Sexual Abuse, until a few years ago the practice of murdering women to preserve family honor enjoyed almost total legitimacy within Palestine, one of the most homogeneously Muslim societies in the world. With this consideration, alongside the alarming rise of Islamic terrorism in Europe centered around Germany, and the radicalization of European converts to the Muslim faith, Islam can be rightly held under intense scrutiny by the public eye.\n\nA Danish news outlet titled Jyllands-Posten released information in 2009 concerning the astonishing rate of stillbirths, physical deformities, and various mental diseases caused by the ever-imminent incest-filled landscape in the Muslim world, concluding that Pakistani, Turkish and Somali women are twice as likely to experience complications during childbirth. Nearly 70% of Pakistanis are the product of inbreeding in Islam, mostly due to the Muslim tradition of marrying cousins via choice or arrangement. BBC also released a study, revealing that approximately 55% of Pakistani immigrants in Britain were married to a first cousin and that Pakistani-British were “at least 13 times likely to than the general population to have children with recessive genetic disorders.”\n\nSo, with the cold hard statistics before our eyes and the somewhat shocking information regarding the prominence of inbreeding in Islam, we must ask, What gives? Why is incest such an integrated characteristic of Islam?\n\nAccording to Bengali ex-Muslim essayist Abul Kaseem, the product of rampant phenomena of inbreeding in Islam is due to several things, but two stick out in particular: 1) interpretations of the Qu’ran which permits a Muslim man to marry and have intercourse with his daughter born out of wedlock (usually 8 or 9 years old), and 2) the popular and widely accepted practice of cousin-marriage initiated by the Prophet Muhammed himself, who infamously had relations with his cousins outside of marriage (Tirmidhi 5.3214).\n\nRegarding the first point, the Qu’ranic passage that is traditionally interpreted to permit the marriage of first cousins is found in the following excerpt:\n\n“Prohibited to you (For marriage) are:- Your mothers, daughters, sisters; father’s sisters, Mother’s sisters; brother’s daughters, sister’s daughters; foster-mothers (Who gave you suck), foster-sisters; your wives’ mothers; your step-daughters under your guardianship, born of your wives to whom ye have gone in,- no prohibition if ye have not gone in;- (Those who have been) wives of your sons proceeding from your loins; and two sisters in wedlock at one and the same time, except for what is past; for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful,” (Surah An-Nisa 4:23)\n\nThe term “daughters” in the above text may initially appear that Islam prohibits fathers marrying their offspring; however, a closer inspection of the Arabic word used in this context denotes a purely judicial definition, meaning that Muslim fathers are allowed to marry their daughters, provided that the latter have been born illegitimately. Kaseem provides in-depth examples regarding the many routes that Muslim men can undergo to marry their prepubescent daughters here.\n\nRegarding the second point, it should be noted that first cousins are nowhere mentioned among the listed family members that are considered off-limits in the above passage. Muhammed himself married his father’s sister’s daughter, a woman named Zaynab bint Jahsh, who had also been divorced from Muhammed’s adopted son, Zayd ibn Haritha. It is clear that there is no recognition of relational boundaries when it comes to incest within Islam.\n\nA study was conducted in the 1960s that concluded that only 0.2% of all Roman Catholics in the United States were married to first cousins, which is an astronomically small statistics compared to Pakistan’s 70% and Turkey’s 25%-30%. Does inbreeding in Islam mean that Islam morally reprehensible? If one considers incest to be a moral evil, specifically due to the 100% increase in the risk of stillbirths, then this particular Muslim tradition needs to be assimilated to Western values in this ethical area.\n\nWhether the Muslim faith is able to surrender its morally reprehensible sexual ethic has yet to be seen, and it is unlikely based on current data to assume that such resistance to Western ethical teachings will lighten anytime in the near future.",

      "body": "During my years raised in a evangelical Christian landscape, I experienced countless claims by pastors and Sunday School teachers that a literal reading of the Christian Scriptures mandated that the world be A) under approx. 10,000 years old, B) created in the span of six days, C) absent of the evolutionary development of human life, and D) presupposed as an oblate spheroid. Although countless Young Earth Creationists (e.g. the infamous Ken Ham) insist that the contemporary fundamentalist assertion that the Earth is young and round, their ancient predecessors claimed otherwise, insisting in a Jewish flat earth.\n\nFor those of you unfamiliar with the inception of the Christian religion, the events of the New Testament takes place within the Hellenized landscape of Second Temple Judaism, meaning of course that Christianity is a development from classical Judaism. Many Church communions today claim to be the actual nation of Israel (e.g. the Catholic and Orthodox Churches), based on the notion that Second Temple Judaism was fulfilled and furthered by the advent of Jesus of Nazareth which marked a milestone in the Abrahamic timeline.\n\nWhat is peculiar, however, is the fact that many Christians presuppose that the contemporary \"Young Earth Creationist\" (YEC) interpretation of the Bible is the literal approach taken by the original recipients of the Old Testament (i.e., the ancient Jews). This is not the case at all, and some of the oldest Jewish documents available to us today also say otherwise. \n\nThe Hebrew Bible nowhere specifies the Earth's shape, but repeatedly presupposes the commonly conceived ancient notion of a Jewish flat earth. For example, in the Book of Isaiah, it states, \"He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy, and spreads them out like a tent to live in,\" (Isa. 40:21-22). Interestingly, not only did Judaism have the concept of a flat earth during the penning of the Old Testament, but many systems in the Mesopotamian region also share similar constructs with that of the cosmos in the Old Testament. Even prominent figures such as Homer and Hesoid in The Shield of Hermes depict a flat-earth framework that would have been entirely uncontroversial at the time. \n\nThe Jewish people upon reception of the Book of Genesis would have interpreted it \"literally,\" far more so than many of their ideological successors today. The narrative of Genesis 1 is the foundational plot for an Abrahamic cosmogony. In a plain reading of the narrative, God created a flat, disc-like or rectangular earth upon pillars surrounded by a solid dome (i.e., the  firmament), within which are the sun, moon, and stars amidst an aerial ocean. Above this dome, the god Elohim is traditionally understood to be enthroned in a celestial realm in an eternal council with lesser divine beings. During the period of Second Temple Judaism, the Jerusalem Temple was understood as a gateway to ascend the dome's barrier between man and God, acting as a sort of meeting place.\n\nTo digress from the topic of ancient cosmogonies, let's turn our gaze towards contemporary iterations of the ancient Hebrew flat-earth within a dome. The freshest instance is likely the recent dystopian science fiction film The Hunger Games, directed by Gary Ross and based on the novel by Suzanne Collins. In The Hunger Games, 24 teenagers are forced into an arena with a dome and are made to kill each other. Only one participant will emerge victoriously and is promised a life of wealth and prosperity. The dome used in the novel and film closely resembles that of the Jewish cosmos depicted above.The entire plot of the Hunger Games is essentially a quasi-Zionist script between the Capitol and the Resistance, i.e., between Israel and Palestine. The military of the Capitol (Israel) is technologically advanced and is nearly untouchable by the Resistance (Palestine). Its rulers boast totalitarian authority over all districts, including a fascist claim of owning territory that has no desire to be under its rule. Naturally, the districts rebel, and the most iconic reality that we can typify this to is the advent of Gaza, imminently actualized in the al-Wafa bombing in Gaza. \n\nIt is almost as if Suzanne Collins was relatively influenced by the modern Israel-Palestine conflict and wrote a dystopian novel depicting a similar struggle on a larger scale. With Lions Gate Entertainment depicting a rather fascinating \"dome\" arena wherein the Hunger Games contestants are forced to face off, the relatability to the Jewish world is endless. The words of Hunger Games protagonist Katness Everdeen rally those who yearn for liberation in the Middle East: \"You can torture us and bomb us and burn our districts to the ground, but do you see that? Fire is catching! And if we burn, *you burn with us*!”",

      "body": "Do you really believe in free speech? Most Americans will say yes. But what does such an assertion entail? In the United States, the freedom of expression, press, and ideology has been a foundational premise and has been defended by countless activists, politicians, and militaries. Yesterday, a rally was held by several hundred proponents of the alt-right called the “Rally for Free Speech.” It intended to provide a platform for controversial proclamations; however, an opposing rally was held nearby to protest “hate speech,” with some holding signs that read similar to “Hate Speech is not Free Speech.”\n\nThe Rally for Free Speech was disrupted when Richard Spender, a white nationalist and controversially popular figure in the alt-right movement, was invited to speak. As a response to this development, some participants separated from the rally and instead began a new rally, called the “Rally Against Political Violence.” This denomination was filled with some allegedly alt-right proponents who separated from the initial rally due to the racial connotations. Spencer has labeled this break-off group as the “alt-lite,” a group of reactionary conservatives similar to the alt-right without the presence of any racially fuelled motivations.\n\nThe most defining factor of the alt-right is its profound rejection of globalism, which often manifests itself as a form of racial or cultural nationalism, occasionally drifting into the realm of racial supremacy. Racial supremacy is not exclusive to the alt-right, however, as evidenced by black supremacist figures such as Black Hitler and the growth witnessed in various Black Hebrew Israelite offshoots. The cause of racial supremacy can be attributed to the existence of sizeable groups possessing recognizably distinctive characteristics within a limited vicinity, which is why black and white supremacist movements are most prominent in countries that boast a substantial amount of both demographics. This is further backed up by the lack of Asian supremacists in countries like China, Japan, and the Koreas, because such countries are racially homogeneous to the point where no perceivable racial threat can possibly be fathomed. Multiculturalism breeds extremist manifestations of racial pride and triumphalism.\n\nThe break that we see in the alt-right with the now distinguished presence of the “alt-lite” proves that the alt-right is an umbrella movement that encompasses a multitude of diverse ideologies. Within the alt-right, monarchists, libertarians, authoritarians, Republicans, disaffected and classical leftists, neo-Nazis, and white supremacists coincide against what they each perceive to be a common threat: neoliberal progressivism. And the rapid disdain for such an innovative movement is growing at a considerable rate, with the upcoming Generation Z becoming the most conservative generation since WWII.\n\nThe alt-right, specifically concerning its strong cultural and national identity, is a reactionary movement against the multiculturalist agenda. The avocation for racial factors to play into this identity is not a universally accept tenant of within the alt-right, as we have seen with the disaffected dissenters from Spencer’s branch of supporters. Because of this, the amount of those who identify as “alt-right” is growing by the day, with many who simply dislike the state of the contemporary cultural landscape adopting the term as a form of reaction.\n\nBecause of this, the alt-right is gaining momentum. People are beginning to recognize that the portrait of the alt-right painted by the media as a monstrous, racist, hateful, fascist entity is an entirely false picture. Instead, people are jumping aboard an ark to save them from a flood, so to speak, and the alt-right is becoming first and foremost becoming a pejorative. Although it is evident that there is no unified front for the movement and that championing free speech can be difficult when one doesn’t agree with the speeches given, many seem to be crying out, “Speak! But not for me.” The mainstream media is losing its grip on demonizing those who despise the contemporary state of cultural decay, and it paying by losing all credibility by the younger generation who adhere to traditional values and morals rather than progressive, pragmatist emotionalism.",
