I mean i knew we had great taste but getting to feel it is a whole new experience.\n\nStop fooling around boy and release me!! Thanos screams impatiently \n\nOh and By the way i could feel you trying to reach out to telos, please don’t bother. He wont find me and he sure doesn’t know what is coming for him.\n\n\nBeside him a man is tied to the chair 🪑 and gagged . He cries and whimps to be freed, terrified by a man who  broke into his house, tied him up and has been talking to himself dressed in his clothes. This man is crazy, he is going to kill me he thought. \n\nOh i almost forgot about you,\nHey ..hey ..calm down shhh shhh.  Chamenos stoops down to the pitiful look of his hostage and soothingly  while wiping his tears.\n\n“You must be so terrified”  he says trying to calm him down. \n“You must have gotten  the wrong idea about this, its just a father and son thing you how it is right? He smiles\n\nIve got to maintain my physical appearance so don’t take any offense from this okay? Chamenos pats the mans head playfully with a smile with his eyes is full with fear. \nOkay playtime is over now im running late, he stares at his watch. \nThe man tied to the chair begins to disparate slowly from leg up into dark midst screaming and crying , struggling to break free and make a run for it while chamenos absorbs his essence until he is no more.  Ughh yeah ...he moans at the ecstasy as though absorbing some kind of drug and  laughing manically\n ha !!ha !!ha !!ha!! Ha..........\n\n<sub>meanwhile at telos place</sub> \n\nPhilp what is it? \nDo you know who chamenos is? Telos asks\n\nUnfortunately sire i do.\n\nWell who is he? Telos request impatiently \n\nPuzzled.. philps replies, “Im afraid he is your brother sir\n\nMy brother? Telos is puzzle at this revelation \n\nWhat do you mean by my brother and why don’t i know of this brother..\n\nWell sire i suggest you may need a drink for this. Philip picks up the bourbon and fills up the  empty glass cup beside it on telos reading table.\nHere sir, Philip passes the cup to telos who very much doesn’t care about any gesture other than knowing who this mysterious brother is.\n\n“Well?” ..,Telos responds to the odd silence between the two \n\nAs you may know there are two driving forces of nature “Life and death”both whom you know well of. \nYour uncle “Astrapi” is capable of creating and bringing new things and your father “Thanatos” collects them when their time is due to enable a new cycle. Without this balance  there would be chaos and so because of these roles,the two entities cannot replicate the other.\n\nSpare me the lecture philp im well aware of the basics of nature but what does this have to do with me.\n\nWell sir it has everything to do with you.  You see your father wanted something of his own, he wanted an offspring but was incapable of doing so. \nNaturally its not supposed to happen and no one knows what prompted him to want this after infinite years of harmony.\nBut Thanatos was persistent and carried out a lot of experiments to have one. For thousands of years they all failed each with different beings. At a time some showed progress but the offsprings wouldn’t last, they would just decimate into midst just like you do whenever you dematerialize. With each tests yielding a better outcome and one came along. We all believed he would last and for a while he did. He was named chamenos.\n Chamenos wouldn’t survive because his existence depended on absorbing life’s essence. \n\nIt started of with plants. The trees and plants would just die while he was in their midst and soon animals , beasts, human alike and at some point human beings. It was necessary for him to survive as a creature born of death and needed life to live. \n\nIn the midsts of all this commotion “Astrapi” had no idea about what was going on but as time went on these deaths and disappearances started taking notices. \nAn imbalance in nature had occurred and your father kept it hidden.\n\nWhen “Astrapi confronted your father” it led to a heated battle that lasted years almost destroying our realm”\n\nThe diamachy? (Telos asks)\n\nYes telos “the diamchy” a heated battle between brothers...\n\nSo what happened I thought my father lost the battle.\n\nHe did and hence chamenos couldn’t feed no more. He was cast aside in a  prison void in between dimensions where he would fade away into existence.\n\nYour father now bitter and sore from the loss of the battle and his son, had come to realize he wasn’t thinking clearly. He had been over run by his emotions which naturally he should have been neutral too. He exiled himself as some sort of way to find him self.  During this sourjoun he met your mother who took pity on what she believed was a homeless sick man all battered up. \nYour mother was considered a witch by the people and was cast aside, she lived all along in a secluded area. Just taking in this man got people around talking more of her. I guess this intriguing mystery was what made your father go with the flow.\nShe fell in love with him and they lived together for a while until she birth you.\n\nAs expected thanos was ridden with fear at the calamity he had brought upon the world again and tried to rid it.......rid “you”. \nYour mother stopped him and in the feat of a battle between these two their true nature reavealed “ Thanatos the god of death” and your mother  “ an offspring of the old gods who were once thought to be wiped away”\nThis realization made them see that  there may be a chance for you, your father returned back with the both of you. \nYour uncle, tired from the last battle decided to give you a chance as you seemed to be a mysterious miracle. \n\nNow i hope you can come to understand how this whole event revolves around you and your brother.\n\nIf what you say is true and your brother is back then we should assume he somehow survived, is more powerful than ever and the imbalance that could consume the world\nAll i can say is chaos is near telos. This could be the end of everything we know.\n\n\nTelos gulps the full cup of bourbon on his hand and looks back up to Philip with a hint of fear in his eyes.\n\n<sub>diana<sub>\nDiana walks back home from her night shift with her ear piece on playing “free mind” by tems.\nShe hears rustles beside a bush on the path and looks behind her taking off her pods\n\nAny one there?\nHello?\nShe gets no response and remains puzzled but moves on as though the noise must have been in her head.\nJust as she gets to her porch  a man stands behind her, \nHello, he says as he taps her with a smile\n\n\nArgghhh...Shes screams, startled  at the scare\nYou dont do that... wtf! \n\nIm sorry, you seemed to have your ear jacks on and couldn’t hear me call. I didn’t mean to scare you. He says\n\nIts  cool what do you want? Diana asks\n\nYou seemed familiar and i decided to reach out. All hail the grim reaper, all hail TELOS,\nson of thatanos!\n\n<center>**DEANS BIRTHDAY**</center>\n\n There are only two essential forces keeping a balance and defining nature , these are; Creation and Destruction, *Mr nathan scribbles the words on the board gradually while he illustrates in his class*. \n\nWell this is suitable than the last  board, *“he comments as he drops his board pen on the slab.”* \n“Too modern?” A voice comes from behind the class creating a mischievous humor as laughter bursts out from the class.\n\nWell if its not the class clown dean, i was wondering where you were, *Mr Nathan responds with a smile* . Luckily for me the school was gracious enough to bring things down to my taste which is more old fashioned,  so this board would suffice.\n\nSo back to the topic, these are the two driving forces of nature. \n“So basically life and death?” *A young female south African student sitting on the front row with an ash hoodie and a pair of glasses asks* . Well Veronica if you choose to see it that way then yes I believe its the same as LIFE and .....\n\nThe door barges open as telos walks into the class unfazed by the gazes surrounding him. Dean waves his hands frantically to signal telos while pointing at the empty seat he saved him.\n\n“Nice of you to join us master telos”, *mr Nathan calls out*\nHope im not interrupting, *telos responds*\nLate night? \nThe class laughs\nSomething like that professor, but you can carry on with your creation and destruction concept of nature.\nSeems someone has been studying for the finals, *mr nathan smiles impressively*\nNot really.....its just more of my field, but like i said please carry on.\nOkay then,...oh, mr Nathan pauses while glancing at his watch;it seems my time is almost up.\n\nYour assignment for the day is to give me a detailed explanation on the importance of destruction.\n\nTelos scoffs in mockery, importance of destruction? \nHis mind strays off in thoughts, these matters are below me, i mean why am i even here, im a demi god, im the son of thanatos this is so pointless and beneath me.\n\nHey telos you good? Dean stares at him worriedly, oh it’s nothing i just had a late night.\n Nice it Must’ve been fun then, dean nudges him jovially. \nTelos smiles i guess you can say that.\nSpeaking of fun, dean nudges telos  once more  towards the location of Diana, hope you left room for one more tiger. \nTelos stares at her for a while lost at the sight before him and just as Diana looks back at him she smiles and walks away with the books on her arm.\n\nSay telos ? do you wanna hang out tomorrow night i got tickets to these awesome show, you’ll like it. \nIm not sure i can make it tomorrow  dean maybe next time. Telos notices the slight change in deans mood. \nOh okay then maybe next time but Are you mad at me telos?\nHuh?\nAre you mad at me for something? Dean asks again\nWhy do you ask? \nWell you seem to always have something you have to do and we no longer hang out like we used to. At first I didn’t read in too deep but then it continued going on for long, you don’t even pick my calls anymore.\nTelos looks bewildered at how much dean had observed. If i keep on with this for too long he might as well one day find out about me and I’ll loose my companion. Telos thoughts races around for an explanation with a stale face glaring at dean while he speaks. \nIm sorry dean,i had no idea, i guess i was too caught up in my own mess to realize i had abandoned our friendship. You see my father is currently missing and there is no one looking after his business  which is why i have taken over his place.\n\nOh that’s terrible was he kidnapped? \nWe do not know for certain but his search is in the right hands. \nIm sorry bro dean sympathizes, how come it wasn’t let out on the news to keep the public aware. I always thought your dad was some sort of big shot.\n\nWell He keeps a low profile and doesn’t let anyone know where he is or what he does. Telos answers every question with a down right truth with faith that deans mortal mind wouldn’t comprehend.\nTake all the time you need and if you need anything ill assist you.\nThanks dean, ill be on my way now I have business to attend to. \nOkay man ill  see you later.\n\nJust as telos gets up, 3 good looking frat boys with built up bodies pass by on their way out of the class. Hey dean, Mikey calls him out, your dads pay cheque couldn’t  get you a proper balmain jacket or you need extra shifts to afford it? He laughs with his friends and they walk away. \nHaha...Real funny guys dean mimicks their laugh just till the move along. \nJerks..\nWho was that? Telos asks. \nHuh?\nOh Just a bunch of spoiled rich jerks who pick on my dad for being a lecturer here. His dad owns one of the major leading pharmaceutical companies in the country M.E.R.D\nOh i see, and what does your dad teach again? \nBio engineering, you’ve probably not been in his class since we are in a commercial field. \nOh Good to know\nWhy do you ask though? Dean asks.\nNothing much, i think I might’ve found out your birthday present.\nOh you remembered? Deans excitement bursts out his face\nI don’t forget easily dean. Ill see you tomorrow. \nToward the corridor, telos pulls out his phone and makes a dial. \n\nHey ...\n\nGood day master telos...\n\nSame to you philp..\n\nHow may i be of assistance to you today sir?\n\nYeah, how much is M.E.R.D worth? Telos asks \n\n$210 billion sir, would you love to purchase it?\n\nOh yes i would love you to buy it in your name. Now at her dorm she reaches out into her bag to get her keys, just immediately, she notices how cold  the weather had changed all of a sudden. She sees her icy breathe wallow with every puff. “ thats strange? Winter in summer?” She looks around and inserts her key into the keyhole opening the door. Care freely, she closes it after her, “Hello diana”, telos  voices out, while sitting on a chair beside her bed concentrating solely on a novel he had picked up with the room.\n “OMG” diana screams out clearly startled by the man sitting inside her room. “ How the fuck did you get inside my room!! Are you stalking me? How did you know where i live!!”,\n  “Im confused”, he pauses the book he was reading and looks up to her, “ which am i to answer first?  Okay thats it! im calling campus security!  Diana hurls out angrily. \n“Don’t bother diana, i was about leaving”, he responds slowly as he stands up, *(as handsome as ever with his black turtle neck,a black blazer and trouser to match. The accessories on him made it more appealing,a golden patek watch on his left hand, a light golden chain on his neck and an ice earing to join.)* \nHe walks up to her staring down at her with his charming height, he could hear her heart beat an inch away just as she stared into his cold eyes wondering what he was about to do. He lifts his hands right through her hair moving it behind her ears.\n “I noticed your change in mood yesterday”\nI dont.. .. i dont know what you’re talking about, diana responds defensively although blushing, her heart racing even faster this time.\nHe smirks, you see my mother isn’t your typical everyday mom so trust me when i tell you.....i did you a favour. \nDiana stares silently as though lost in the conversation, on noticing this she takes her eyes of him.\n Well then see you next time student, he smiles and walks out the room. Just as he leaves diana rushes towards the door, locks it  and exhales. She pauses for a moment and runs her hand right through her hair just as telos had done, “unbelievable” she cups her hand on her face as if embarrassed and disgusted at the fact of the matter. Just as she turns to lay on her bed she sees a bouquet 💐 of red roses , a box of chocolates and a card written. “A bit much?” She laughs and rushes towards the door as though to meet telos before he leaves. She looks down an empty corridor confused “what a strange guy” she says as she closes her door, although a residue of black mist can be seen on the air right outside the corridor.\n\nTELOS\n\nLife as the new grim reaper havent been as easy as I thought, i mean i wonder how father could make everything occur with no stress at all. \n“Telos stands at the edge of  a roof watching the traffic in the busy night.” I mean with the whole world on my shoulders i have to do it, there is no one else.\nJust then a tesla car can be seen coming from afar at a high speed, telos looks at it and  snaps his fingers. Just then there is a loud crash and a crowd gathered below. The owner of the car had just died... and screams of “somebody call 911!! Could be heard.\nPathetic....,  just clinging to life so much, fully knowing theyll meet the same inevitable end. Now who is next on the list? Telos asks rhetorically as he closes his eyes seeing different visions. “Minie minie minie ...mo” Just then he sees one that picks his interest. “Aha!!”he exclaims\n  He disparates into black mist again and appears   on another roof top to see a drunk man just about to commit sucide. \n\nOh this ought to be interesting, telos soliloquizes with a smile, the victim hears a voice behind him and screams.\nWHO IS THAT!! GO BACK, GO BACK OR I JUMP.  \nYeah uhm about that.. i don’t really care if you do,  if anything i think you should. Telos walks up to the edge of the roof while the drunk man stares  at him confusingly. \nWheeew thats a steep one innit? Telos says to the man as though engaging in a conversation with the excitement on his face. \n\nIM SERIOUS I WILL JUMP GET AWAY FROM ME WEIRDO!!!\nI told you sir, I really dont care if you do . Telos sits on the edge of the roof and sees a crowd below staring at the man about to jump. \nSo tell me why this method?\nWHAT METHOD?? I mean the jump splat method, telos makes hand gestures as he says it. \n\nYou mean this?  he stares down below and pauses for a moment........\nTelos nods as though saying yes.\n\nWith tears in his eyes he lets it all out. My life is a mess, im just depressed mehn,\n so many responsibilities i have to carry, i just  went through a divorce and my kids have been taken away, my home too. My job is draining and so i slack off for one day and get fired? My rent is over due and im super broke, i have no friends i mean what more do i have to live for.\n\nYou gon finish that? telos stretches his hand towards the bottle of liquor  the sucidal man held. He passes it to telos who drinks from it and passes it back.\nYou know, for one thing, i can relate to what youre going through.\n\nI was never close to my dad or with him, all i did was just train and train in some strange world, my mother no different and she abandons me and comes all this way now  to fix this huge responsibility on my head. I just lost my dad and have no idea where he is. “ the man takes a gulp and passes the bottle back to telos” a lot of things can be shitty you know.\n\nYea sorry about that the man tells telos.\n Its cool, not your fault either , at best, I really don't care that much. I just move with it, problems like money and all that are trivial matters to me. I mean i could help you if you want though\nREALLY? \nYea you seem like a pretty cool guy. \n\nI mean now that we've had this talk I suddenly don't feel like dying again, maybe this is life giving me another shot, I've got to live. The man says with a relieve within his tone.\n\nOh dont get me wrong sir, i wish to help you but you need to complete what you started. Telos responds just immediately.\n\nWhat do you mean by that, he asks?\n\nTelos stands up from where he is seated and takes a last gulp of the drink tossing it on the floor.\nDoes your kid and wife still need the money telos asks?  Yes they do, “he responds”\n\nGood, they’ll be treated alright, cause unlike you i don’t run away from responsibilities.\nTelos pushes the man off the roof  and a TUDD!! sound is heard below with screams.\n Telos looks down below. “ no hard feels, its just fated to happen this way” he states to no one in particular but the dead man scatter on the concrete. He disparates into thin air leaving black mists behind.\n\n\nPolice officers are seen taking reports from people around the vicinity. As ambulances arrive trying to pick up the remains of a splat body on the concrete.  \nInspector , the people say they saw him talking up there before he jumped or pushed. \nWhat do you mean pushed? Who was he talking to.\nThats the mystery sir, he was talking to nobody. Just talking to himself. \nAny reports on the victims identity and info? Jeff asks\nHis name was kent and he was recently divorced, lost his kids ,his job and a turned alcoholic. Plus we found this at the scene he shows jeff a bagged bottle of alcohol. \nOkay then he was just pretty drunk and depressed i don’t believe there is anything more to this jeff responds. No inspector\nOkay then you’re dismissed. Okay inspector.\nJeff looks up at the building one more time as though in doubt of what had occurred and walks out into his car then zooms off.\n\nEpisode 4 will be coming up next.
