Years of research led to insights into how successful startups influence consumer behavior, and these insights were implemented in the Hook model. What if a product or service could create a habit? A habit is the urge to perform an action with little or no conscious thought.  We do that every day. Habits can be put to good use. Hooks are experiences aimed at connecting user problems to your product. The hook model was a cycle event used for repeated participation by individuals. The Hook cycle consists of four phases. Triggers Actions Variables Investments 1. Trigger: To target consumers for the first time, you need triggers that call them to action. This can be done through paid advertising, email invitations and organic advertising. These triggers are classified as external triggers, whereas internal triggers originate from the consumer itself. An example of an external trigger is a. Boredom: This encourages you to use social media to connect with your friends. 2. Action: The purpose of the trigger is to promise a reward and show how to get it. The action should be flowing, engaging and simple. One important thing is to be able to remove as many steps from the process as possible. Forming a habit should be easier to do than you think. 3. Variable Reward: After the consumer performs an action, the reward should be received. B. Something interesting or useful. Rewards need to be variable to keep consumers in the loop and form habits. Otherwise, consumers will start expecting a return and eventually lose interest and won't come back. 4. Investment: Finally comes the reward. The process of soliciting small investments through personal donations. Engage consumers and maintain product value. We are shown to value our work above its actual value. Consumer investment in a product disproportionately increases its value. This is sometimes called the IKEA effect. It is an effect that saves a lot of money by doing that work ourselves. | body | I guess you are wondering why I chose that topic. Well I don't really know, let's see how the story goes. I registered on this platform but didn't know what to write to post and even if I wrote a story, will it be a nice story? The truth is if I keep thinking I will never start. So here I am writing this not knowing how it will go but in the end I will be glad that I did something by taking a step to write… So the next question will be, Do Vampire Hunters exist? .jpeg) I guess they do in movies, not really sure whether they exist in real life or not. You can tell me if they do or not. Watching the movie Vampire Diaries made me realize one thing. You can never be a Vampire Hunter in a single day even if you were born a vampire Hunter. You have to learn how to identify Vampires without having to think hard about it. When you see them, you know they are vampires and how can you do this, only by practice… You can have the knowledge but without experience you will never be a true Vampire Hunter. The only key to being a true hunter is by experience and learning every single Day… Now you are wondering, why did you add chicken Hunter to the Topic. Well, if a Vampire Hunter isn't real to you, A Chicken Hunter will be real to you. So what's a chicken Hunter? Does that even exist? .jpeg) Well, I don't know. I just formed it after learning something new about Chickens,to be more specific Layers. I learned how to identify if a bird is laying or not…I decided to give it the name Chicken Hunting making the person a Chicken Hunter... The Veterinary doctor who was teaching me could identify them within seconds. I just kept wondering how he got so good at this. He was patient with me and took his time to analyze how he knew if a bird was laying or not. I started to understand but to become a true chicken Hunter I have to keep Practicing… This can be applied to any area of our lives. To be good at anything, you need to keep practicing every single day. And when someone sees you, they can't help but ask how you became so good… I know a lot of us think we will never be Good enough.. Trust me, you will, it just takes time...We have heard of the popular phrase, Practice makes Perfect. Let's put it this way, Practice leads to Improvement and that's what is Important. In my next post I will write on how to be a chicken Hunter… Keep Practicing...Keep Improving... |
