| body | Teatro Colón - the beautiful venue we went to see Hernan Cattaneo put on his first live show So after a couple of very nice weeks in Brazil we headed to Argentina for 10 days to catch up with our friends from Barcelona, Graziano Raffa and Nick Varon who were in Argentina to see the DJ legend, Hernan Cattaneo put on his first live performance at one of the oldest and grandest venues in South America. Graziano and Nick are also both very popular DJ's and work for the electronic music label called Sudbeat, which is owned by Hernan Cattaneo. They also had a few DJ gigs around Argentina whilst they were there, but unfortunately they started just after we were leaving. When Graziano told me about this huge show Hernan was putting on we realised we had no choice but to visit Buenos Aires so we could witness this historic event and of course spend some special time with Graziano, Nick and all their Buenos Aires crew. Buenos Aires is a massive city with over 13 million people in it and Argentina itself has a very big Italian influence with many people from Italy emigrating there between 1880–1920. I didn't really hear anyone speaking Italian, but it is apparently the 3rd language of the country after Spanish and English and you can definitely see a lot of similarities in the peoples characteristics. We decided to get a nice Airbnb apartment right in the center, so we were close to all the action, but also so we had some space and good internet to tie up some loose ends from back home and do some work on the laptop. From the taxi to the apartment The workstation in our new temporary home |

| body | Teatro Colón - the beautiful venue we went to see Hernan Cattaneo put on his first live show So after a couple of very nice weeks in Brazil we headed to Argentina to catch up with our friends from Barcelona, Graziano Raffa and Nick Varon who were in Argentina to see the DJ legend, Hernan Cattaneo put on his first live performance at one of the oldest and grandest venues in South America. They are also both very popular DJ's and work for the electronic music label called Sudbeat, which is owned by Hernan Cattaneo. Both Nick and Graziano had a few DJ gigs around Argentina whilst they were there, but unfortunately the gigs started after we were leaving. When Graziano told me about this huge show Hernan was putting on we realised we had no choice but to visit Buenos Aires so we could witness this historic event and of course spend some special time with Graziano, Nick and all their Buenos Aires crew. Buenos Aires is a massive city with over 13 million people living in it. We decided to get a nice Airbnb apartment right in the center, so we were close to all the action, but also so we had some space to tie up some loose ends from back home and do some work on the laptop that both Sara and I had to do. From the taxi to the apartment The workstation in our new temporary home |

| body | We started our 5 month South American trip in Lisbon for just one night to be ready for a very early flight to Brasilia the next morning. Although Lisbon was just the easiest way to get to Brazil, from what we saw it is definitely a city I need to experience more. It had that lovely Barcelona feel with nice weather, some cool restaurants and welcoming people. I think a summer trip next year could be on the cards. Our first destination, Brasilia was to see Sara's brother, Daniel, his wife, Elka and also to meet their recently born son, Samuel. It was amazing to see these guys and meet Samuel for the first time who is full of playful energy and cheeky smiles. Brasilia is the capital of Brazil and a fairly new city that was founded in 1960. Daniel called it the Milton Keynes of Brazil, that although doesn't look much like it, it does have that more modern feel and seems they have designed it with the idea that everyone needs a car to get around. They have created a huge lake in the center of the city which is a very nice place to relax and quite a nice thing to have as the focal point of the city. We stayed in a small hotel near to Daniel and Elka's place, that was very welcoming and a good price. Every morning for breakfast they were nice enough to treat us to a popular Brazilian food, Tapioca, made into a pancake. One of the highlights of the trip was staying in a town called Alto Paraiso about 3 hours drive from Brasilia which was in the middle of a national park with many waterfalls that you could visit and swim in. Without doubt my best waterfall experience. We went to so many waterfalls I lost count and it is quite hard to decide which was the best one, but the one above is definitely up there. So spectacular to see walking above it and amazing to swim in and and get under the falling water. The nature around these waterfalls was incredible and it was quite remarkable how tame the dragonflies were. I was very lucky to get such a clear shot of this dragonfly above. Easily my best shot to date. Some of the art work on the buildings was pretty cool. Samuel below showing his cheeky side. .JPG) The shot above is one of my favorites from our time in Brazil. I still haven't seen the photo they took in this. All in all, this has been an amazing start to our trip and cannot thank Daniel and Elka enough for showing us around, cooking us some lovely meals and introducing me to some fruits I've never even heard of. Also many thanks to Elka's father Imora (I'm sure I haven't spelt that correctly) and Ilka for letting us stay at their beautiful house on our last night. Hope to see you all again soon. Obrigado :) |

"body": "\n\nWe started our 5 month South American trip in Lisbon for just one night to be ready for a very early flight to Brasilia the next morning.\n\nAlthough Lisbon was just the easiest way to get to Brazil, from what we saw it is definitely a city I need to experience more. It had that lovely Barcelona feel with nice weather, some cool restaurants and welcoming people. I think a summer trip next year could be on the cards.\n\nOur first destination, Brasilia was to see Sara's brother, Daniel, his wife, Elka and also to meet their recently born son, Samuel.\n\n \n\nIt was amazing to see these guys and meet Samuel for the first time who is full of playful energy and cheeky smiles.\n\nBrasilia is the capital of Brazil and a fairly new city that was founded in 1960. Daniel called it the Milton Keynes of Brazil, that although doesn't look much like it, it does have that more modern feel and seems they have designed it with the idea that everyone needs a car to get around. \n\nThey have created a huge lake in the center of the city which is a very nice place to relax and quite a nice thing to have as the focal point of the city. \n\n\n\nWe stayed in a small hotel near to Daniel and Elka's place, that was very welcoming and a good price. Every morning for breakfast they were nice enough to treat us to a popular Brazilian food, Tapioca, made into a pancake.\n\nOne of the highlights of the trip was staying in a town called Alto Paraiso about 3 hours drive from Brasilia which was in the middle of a national park with many waterfalls that you could visit and swim in. Without doubt my best waterfall experience.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe went to so many waterfalls I lost count and it is quite hard to decide which was the best one, but the one above is definitely up there. So spectacular to see walking above it and amazing to swim in and and get under the falling water.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe nature around these waterfalls was incredible and it was quite remarkable how tame the dragonflies were. \n\n\n\n\n\nI was very lucky to get such a clear shot of this dragonfly above. Easily my best shot to date.\n\n\n\nSome of the art work on the buildings was pretty cool.\n\n\n\nSamuel below showing his cheeky side.\n\n\n\n\n.JPG)\n\nThe shot above is one of my favorites from our time in Brazil. I still haven't seen the photo they took in this.\n\n \nAll in all, this has been an amazing start to our trip and cannot thank Daniel and Elka enough for showing us around, cooking us some lovely meals and introducing me to some fruits I've never even heard of. \n\nAlso many thanks to Elka's father Imora (I'm sure I haven't spelt that correctly) and Ilka for letting us stay at their beautiful house on our last night. Hope to see you all again soon. \n\nObrigado :)",

| body | We started our 5 month South American trip in Lisbon for just one night to be ready for a very early flight to Brasilia the next morning. Daniel called it the Milton Keynes of Brazil, that although doesn't look much like it, it has that more modern feel and seems they have designed it with the idea that everyone needs a car to get around. They have created a huge lake in the center of the city which is a very nice place to relax and quite a nice thing to have as the focal point of the city. We stayed in a small hotel near to Daniel and Elka's place, that was very welcoming and a good price. Every morning for breakfast they were nice enough to treat us to a popular Brazilian food, Tapioca, made into a pancake. |

| body | Thank you. Sorry I've only just seen this as I haven't been very active on Steemit, although that might change soon. I'm interested to know how much Labour / Corbyn may meddle in politics? I kind of understand and agree to a certain extent that government overreach into the free market can be a problem, and stifle progression and innovation, but there is obviously a very important role to be played by government and not everything can be left up to the free market just yet, if ever. Obviously health care and education are two of the main areas on this subject, although I do think the free market has a role to play from an innovation point of view. I personally think the Tories and previous Labour governments have taken us too far down the crony capitalist route with too many rich powerful people calling the shots. A bit of a re-balance is order, which might come from a Corbyn government, but may also come from new technologies like Bitcoin and decentralized systems. |

| body | Its funny looking back on this now, 10 months ago Jeremy Corbyn was un-electable, now within 24 hours, he could be Prime Minister. Whats realy funny is that he hasnt really done anything, he has just let Theresa May show how horrible her policies are. Personally I cant vote for Labour/Corbyn, Im not anti-unions, they have done a great many good things for the ordinary working person, but in a world of labour laws their primary function has been lost and they start meddling in politics too much for my liking. That Corbyn would increase their power, I find un-acceptable. Im voting Lib-Dem, and hope for a hung parliament and coalition government, in this way I hope we can get the best of party politics, which in itself I see as a broken system. Upvoted and followed you, albeit a little late (or is it?)! |

| body | When I was in my early twenties I didn't really have a political view because the school I attended didn't really teach my anything about how the country was run, how political parties were formed and voted in, or how the problems in the world were caused and solved. Of course, being young should mean you shouldn't have to worry about the problems of the country or the world, but surely there should be some kind of education system that prepares you for what's to come and help you shape the world for the better? When I was almost 21 the Twin Towers happened on 9/11. All of a sudden as a young adult you realise there are some big problems in the world. We were told this was because the "Terrorists" are against our freedom and way of life, but this reason didn't really add up to me. Why would someone go to such lengths to hurt so many people if they were against our way of living? Yes there are many people with severe mental issues that could do some crazy things, but a collection of people that are so well organised with the same motive? Surely there has to be more to this? Then the Iraq war happened. The biggest demonstrations ever happened in London and simultaneously around the world. Thousands of innocent people died. The pretext for the war were later revealed as a lie and western companies just so happened to take control of the oil fields. All of a sudden the way the world is run and all it's problems become so obvious. Money, power and greed. Tony Blair, the guy that had propelled Labour back into power and won three elections became one of the most hated politicians around after George Bush. This may have seemed like a terrible move by him, but for the corporations that want to have as much control as possible, having the Tories back in control was very beneficial and leaving the Labour Party in ruins was actually a win, win. Most of the faithful Labour supporters turned their back on them, which then divided the left leaning side of country, leaving the Tories as the only viable option and bringing the floating voters over to the right. Now I am in a strange position politically because I've discovered bitcoin and decentralized systems. By realising the potential these systems bring and how they could potentially solve some of societies biggest problems, one being the inevitable corruption of centralized systems, I am starting to believe neither the left or the right have all the answers. But when I come out of my futurists view and look at what we have politically I can see so many improvements without all these new systems coming in. For one, taking money out of politics is crucial, but I'm not sure even a Corbyn government will be able to get that much of a radical change. One thing I am certain though, is that if anyone has the passion and drive to do it, it will be a man that has voted, in my view, the correct way all of his political career. Jeremy Corbyn only by sheer luck managed to find himself on the ballot last year. It's almost like the establishment let their guard down for a few seconds and got complacent in their continued success. If they had not put him on that ballot we would not be where we are now and we'd have another centre left or right leader that sounds just like the last one and the one before that. The only way they would stand a chance of winning an election is if the Tories messed up that much that Labour finally seemed like a better option, albeit a very bad one. Labour would then be in government and promise to deliver many things, but still take us to wars, give the banks all the money and power they want and do nothing of real substance to solve the countries poverty, housing crisis, vanishing jobs, etc. All the MP's would then leave government with some very nice deals / jobs lined up to make them very comfortable for the rest of their lives. Jeremy Corbyn is now the Labour leader, and he appears to be the real deal. A politician that we haven't seen before in such a powerful position and that actually stands for what he believes. He has been a member of many protest parties and is a person we can trust more than any other to deliver on his policies. He doesn't have the charism of an Obama, but he isn't funded by Wall Street like Obama. This is such a rare occurrence in political history that it might not happen again in my lifetime. If you believe that and all of what I say is true, then Jeremy Corbyn deserves your support and help to fight this massive corporate power that is controlling our lives. The NHS was created by a very similar labour government that Jeremy is trying to form, and the only way we can save it for the next few decades and hopefully the next generation is to support and fight with him. The fact University fees have tripled since the Tories have been in power is such a kick in the teeth for all those that want to get ahead in life. Imagine being from a poor family and deciding to take on up to £40k worth of debt just to get a good education and a good job. Yes, this may mean only the dedicated decide to go, but it will probably mean many that are from poor communities stay in poor communities. Like I mentioned, I do see a tech-revolution on the horizon, and Steemit could quite possibly be part of it, but it could take years or decades for that to really make a big impact on the problems in the world. I think with someone like Jeremy Corbyn in power and the amazing technology we have coming we could speed up that process even more. If you're from the UK, please join the Labour Party and help us change this country for the better :) |

| body | When I was in my early twenties I didn't really have a political view because the school I attended didn't really teach my anything about how the country was run, how political parties were formed and voted in, or how the problems in the world were caused and solved. He doesn't have the charism of an Obama, but he isn't been funded by Wall Street like Obama.

\n\nLike I mentioned, I do see a tech-revolution on the horizon, and Steemit could quite possibly be part of it, but it could take years or decades for that to really make a big impact on the problems in the world. I think with someone like Jeremy Corbyn in power and the amazing technology we have coming we could speed up that process even more. \n\nIf you're from the UK, please join the Labour Party and help us change this country for the better :)",
