But he failed utterly - not because he was lacking in effort, not because he was not committed to the methods he was practicing, but because he was not meditatively in them. His efforts were, in a way, superficial; they were not arising from his own innermost core. On the contrary, they were imposed from the outside by others - by tradition, by teachers, by scriptures.\nAfter six years of arduous effort and frustration he realized this: \"I can be transformed only when something becomes my own insight, when something comes out of my own vision.\nBorrowed visions won't do, borrowed methods won't help. Scriptures will make me a parrot, but they cannot make me the enlightened one.\"\nAfter six years he changed his whole way of life: he started living from the within. And that became the turning point. That became the beginning of the endless journey into truth. That became the beginning of eternal joy, celebration.\nIt was natural. Everybody in the beginning follows others; that comes easy. You yourself don't know where to go, what to do, how to do it. You start asking the experts.\nAnd the problem is that in the spiritual inquiry there are no experts - there cannot be, because each individual is so unique that expertise is not possible.\nExpertise is possible if there is no individuality. About matter you can come to conclusions - matter is predictable - but about man you cannot come to conclusions in the same way.\nSomething about man remains unpredictable, and that unpredictable quality is his very essence. That's what makes him man; that is his freedom. He is not bound to the law of cause and effect; he functions under a totally different kind of law. He can behave in such a way that it would have been inconceivable for you, seeing the situation, given the situation, to imagine. If you had predicted it, your prediction would have seemed like an absurdity. But man can function outside the law of cause and effect.\nYou have this knowing that you are the way, the truth and the life, find for yourself, experience for yourself, all the enlightened beings walked thier path,walk yours.",

The inner Fool is the one who helps us to see things anew and to dismantle the accepted wisdom of our times.\n\nThe Concise Oxford Dictionary of World Religions says that \"holy fools subvert prevailing orthodoxy and orthopraxis in order to point to the truth which lies beyond immediate conformity.\"\n\nProductivity, striving, consumption, and speed are some of the false gods... \nA life committed to following the divine path is one that makes the world's wisdom seem foolish, but conversely, the world often looks upon those with spiritual commitment as the ones who are \"fools.\"\n\nThis can be a challenging archetype for some of us as we often try to do everything possible not to look foolish. However, this archetype is the one that helps to subvert the dominant paradigm of acceptable ways of thinking and living. The author G. K. Chesterton, in his book about Francis of Assisi, explores the idea of Francis seeing the world upside down, which is really seeing it right side up, because we get a totally new perspective. There is a subversive act of truth-telling through the Fool's humor and playfulness.\n\nThe Fool risks mockery by stepping out of socially acceptable roles and asks, where are we willing to look foolish? Through the Fool we find vicarious release for much we have repressed within ourselves. The Fool encourages us to laugh at ourselves, reminding us that humor and humility have the same root, the Latin word humus, which means earth or ground.\n\nAs with all the archetypes, when the Fool's energy is not allowed, it is suppressed in the unconscious and comes out in other, often destructive ways. We find the shadow Fool when we use humor to tear people down or when we find ourselves moving toward cynicism rather than a constructive criticism of world problems.\n\nThe shadow Fool delights in breaking the rules, regardless of the consequences, just for the sake of it, rather than to reveal a truth. The Fool in shadow form can also reject all the conventional norms of society without finding balance of challenge and what needs to be done for self-preservation.\n\nThe sacred function of the Fool is to tear down the illusions we hold so dear and illuminate what is new through playfulness and humor, using shocking or unconventional behavior to challenge the status quo or social norms. The Fool helps us see beyond the dualities we live by.\n\nUltimately God's ways are not our own. Our expectations will be disappointed again and again if we go by conventional terms. Everything in the Universe is governed by Laws. There are physical laws, emotional laws, mental laws, and \"Spiritual Laws.\" By understanding these Laws, we can learn to operate in grace instead of \"Karma.\" Many times, we don’t know the cause for the reason things happen to us. This is because there are seven dimensions of reality in which causation can occur.\n\nThe \"Hermetists\" understand the art of rising above the ordinary plane of \"Cause and Effect\", to a certain degree. By learning to be absolutely vigilant and only allowing into your mind thoughts of God, love, perfection, perfect health, prosperity, joy, oneness, and equanimity, then this is all you will create both inwardly and outwardly. For your \"thoughts\" cause your reality.\n\nIn summary, BE THE \"CAUSE\", BE THE \"MASTER\", BE THE \"CO-CREATOR\" with God that you truly are, and then you are using this Law and Principle instead of allowing it to use you.
