The iconic, Grammy-winning Malian band Tinariwen performed at NDK (National Palace of Culture), bringing together an astonishingly diverse crowd. Here, weapons such as cannons and bayonets were transformed into building material — the very iron that once symbolized destruction has been repurposed into a fence. He played a crucial role in organizing the long siege itself, tightening the ring around the city through carefully planned fortifications and strategic pressure.\n\nAn Oasis of Greenery\n\nDespite its solemn history, the park today is a true ecological treasure.
