      "body": "![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmVgGG6rYuZAewmGt1PQNfrJrnDNzU1e5scvRPq7VR2e3f/image.png)\nA moon replica created by a British artist has been has brought to India by the  British Council.\n\nBristol-based installation artist, Luke Jerram has created “Museum of the Moon” by using imagery from NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter camera along with the assistance of UK Space Agency. \n\nThe gigantic model was brought by the British Council to go round the Indian terrain and has since touched Mumbai’s Gateway of India, City Palace in Udaipur and Victoria Memorial in Kolkata before coming it to its closing stop at the British Council in New Delhi.\n\nThe installation was brought to commemorate the last year of the UK-India Year of Culture and to celebrate the completion of 70 years of British Council in India.\n\nThe installation art’s opening event in Bangalore at its first launch was timed impeccably to match the sighting of the first ever super blood blue moon in 150 years.\n\nTalking to local media outlets, the artist has stated: “Living in cities, illuminated by electricity, we have in many ways become disconnected to the moon.”\n\nThe moon’s mock-up arrived at the British Council on February 23rd and will conclude its exhibit for Holi on March 2nd.",

      "body": "![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmcxnBwNAk9XHtpEVcGhMbXCAL9KDj8RTSQdcLcgUtf7s5/image.png)\nLAHORE: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) will announce verdict  in rape and murder case of seven-year-old Zainab.\n\nThe court reserved the verdict on Thursday  after conclusion of arguments by the parties.\n\nATC-I Judge Sajjad Ahmad conducted the proceedings of the trial on daily basis in compliance with the directions of the Lahore High Court at Kot Lakhpat Jail.\n\nThe prosecution team presented 56 witnesses against the accused Imran Ali and claimed that he was guilty of the crime in the light of evidence, including the DNA report.\n\nThe prosecution also submitted forensic reports of videos and other materials to support its case.\n\nThe prosecution team comprising Abdul Rauf Wattoo, Abid Waqar Bhatti, Hafiz Asghar and Farah Faiz argued the case whereas Prosecutor General Punjab Ehtesham Qadir also remained present in the court during the trial.\n\nOn Wednesday, the prosecution department provided the accused with a state lawyer after his private defence counsel withdrew his power of attorney, following the confession, made by Imran Ali.\n\nAdvocate Mehar Shakeel Multani told reporters outside the jail that he could never think of defending a criminal and had, therefore, decided to withdraw his power of attorney.\n\nHe said the suspect had misled him about his innocence.\n\nInitially, the accused had denied the charges and opted to contest the trial at the time of framing of charges.\n\nHowever, he made a confession soon after.\n\nThe accused was indicted on February 12, whereas the court recorded his complete statement on February 14.\n\nSeven-year-old Zainab was kidnapped on January 4 from near her aunt''s house in Kasur.\n\nHer body was discovered five days later from a garbage heap.\n\nThe post-mortem report revealed that she had been raped and murdered.\n\nThe police had arrested the suspect Imran Ali with the help of a DNA report.\n\n Imran Ali is also suspected of involvement in at least eight other cases of rape and murder of minor girls in Kasur.",
