I do have great memories of every place I have lived in or travelled to; I have felt attached...\n\nActually, I must confess, I have cried everytime I have left...\n\nBut I move on. 'Settled' is a feeling I crave for and run away at the same time.\n\nIt is that time again. After spending almost an year in this lovely country, Vietnam, today begins the countdown of my last 5 days here...\n\nThose who keep moving from place to place, would know, that all the places we travel to; we leave a piece of us there and take a piece of it with us. Vietnam would keep a big chunk of my heart...\n\nNevertheless, our last 10 days in Vietnam are being well spent, travelling to the North and I am treasuring every moment of it.\n\nThankyou Vietnam:\n\nFor being such warm and loving hosts. For embracing my child as if she were your own and for giving her an environment to nurture. I owe a lot of her firsts to You. Her first rolling over, her first time of sitting on her own, crawling, standing, walking and calling me Mamma...\n\nWhen I came to You, I was broken in spirit. You healed me. I will forever be indebted to you for pulling me up on my feet and inspiring me to stand tall again...\n\nBe like you are Vietnam. Keep your spirit alive and thrive! You will be sorely missed!\n\nPS: My story of Vietnam is not over yet... I will soon narrate the tales of my travel here and of some awesome people I met on my way :)\n\nTill then, wish you all a Happy New Year and holidays!\n\nCheers!",

      "body": "After having experienced the awesome vibe of Gili Trawangan, we were wondering how different Gili Meno and Air could be... till we reached Meno; the place where Elizabeth Gilbert ends her book, 'Eat Pray Love'.\n\nGili Meno; the tranquil, virgin island. \n\nWhite sand, turquoise blue water, almost empty streets and virgin beaches...\n\n![IMG_6621.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmRB661XhLqeXqpkHLfWxuLdDGJc9DWRQAfTzghCCV72Wi/IMG_6621.JPG)\n\nIn a speed boat, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to reach Meno. In these 10 minutes, Gili turns from a vibrant party island to a completely quiet and tranquil place. Gili Meno is as quiet as it can get. The locals here like to retain the originality of the place. So, after 8 pm, the only real external sounds, you would hear would be of crickets and the mighty sea!\n\n![IMG_6670.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmddic96omwhL2rweSXnwpsfrZKomFxG3B4CoPEotVJuwa/IMG_6670.JPG)\nThe main beach of Gili M\n\nAt this time of the day, if I would have clicked any beach on Gili T; it would be bustling with activities.\n\nBeaches here in Gili M are just perfect to swim. Generally people come to Meno on day trips for romancing, swimming, snorkeling and diving. Almost private beaches to ourselves, the empty sandy trails, beautiful evening walks, with my baby kicking in approval :) These two days are by far, the most peaceful days of my life.\n\nIt takes about one and a half to two hours to walk around this island.. In the excitement of swimming, the pregnant me had got stung by it and it was very painful. the stings stay under the skin and are difficult to remove.       "body": "After having experienced the awesome vibe of Gili Trawangan, we were wondering how different Gili Meno and Air could be... till we reached Meno; the place where Elizabeth Gilbert ends her book, 'Eat Pray Love'.\n\nGili Meno; the tranquil, virgin island. \n\nWhite sand, turquoise blue water, almost empty streets and virgin beaches...\n\n![IMG_6621.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmRB661XhLqeXqpkHLfWxuLdDGJc9DWRQAfTzghCCV72Wi/IMG_6621.JPG)\n\nIn a speed boat, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to reach Meno. In these 10 minutes, Gili turns from a vibrant party island to a completely quiet and tranquil place. Gili Meno is as quiet as it can get. The locals here like to retain the originality of the place. So, after 8 pm, the only real external sounds, you would hear would be of crickets and the mighty sea!\n\n![IMG_6670.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmddic96omwhL2rweSXnwpsfrZKomFxG3B4CoPEotVJuwa/IMG_6670.JPG)\nThe main beach of Gili M\n\nAt this time of the day, if I would have clicked any beach on Gili T; it would be bustling with activities.\n\nBeaches here in Gili M are just perfect to swim. Generally people come to Meno on day trips for romancing, swimming, snorkeling and diving. Almost private beaches to ourselves, the empty sandy trails, beautiful evening walks, with my baby kicking in approval :) These two days are by far, the most peaceful days of my life.\n\nIt takes about one and a half to two hours to walk around this island.. In the excitement of swimming, the pregnant me had got stung by it and it was very painful. the stings stay under the skin and are difficult to remove.
