| title | Cubiex Introduces the Future for Amateur Gaming |
| body | Like many industries, the top percentage of professionals in the gaming industry earn a majority of the revenue. However, unlike other traditional industries, the professionals in the gaming industry are just about the only individuals that earn an income within their respected industry. With more than 400 million gamers and content creators worldwide, amateur gamers tend to view gaming as merely a hobby since they lack a way to monetize their gaming experience. Cubiex aims to solve this issue by focusing on two main areas of interest. Building the first decentralized social network designed specifically for gamers and content creators, Cubiex is establishing a platform for players to challenge other players using crypto currency as a prize pool. Another exciting feature the Cubiex team is currently developing will enable users to buy and sell digital items, a welcome feature that mirrors real life. Cubiex is a German-based company founded by Pierre Chahine roughly 2 years ago. He has distinct knowledge of eSports being an amateur and pro-series player/manager for 15+ years. With his experience in eSports, coupled with business/financing degrees and 10 years in private banking, he has positioned himself into a unique opportunity to combine both sectors. To help build his vision and ensure the best experience while using the Cubiex platform, Chahine has surrounded himself with strong talent. To further promote the authenticity of the Cubiex branding, he has been adding professional eSports players to his advisory team (such as [TuGuX](https://medium.com/@CubiexeSports/tugay-gux-keskin-joins-the-cubiex-advisory-board-as-gaming-advisor-513056a17548) and [ThetaBetaPlays](https://medium.com/@CubiexeSports/esports-gaming-influencer-thetabetaplays-joins-cubiex-as-gaming-advisor-promoter-4eb6c617ff46)). You can check out the whole Cubiex team and advisors [here](https://www.cubiex.com/#team) and find quick information, and the roadmap which they have been closely following [here](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Dv1VIVeGDusOLncNie_O7x0VMvxyGeuf/view). While Cubiex’s focus is on two main areas of interest, content creation through social networking and prize pools, a third major aspect as a result of the from the first two would be eSports. All three of these areas are very unique for differing reasons within Cubiex. Firstly, there has yet to be a social networking platform for content creators that’s designed explicitly for gamers that captures the gaming industry as the lead platform. The growing world of online gaming demands its own social networking platform that benefits those connected to it. The biggest competitor would be Reddit, however, it lacks the gaming features that a gaming network requires. Reddit also isn’t designed specifically for gamers, nor is it a decentralized platform. It will, therefore, never meet many of gamer’s social networking needs. A rising concern in the gaming industry is a security breach within a client, and this is where Cubiex really stands out from the rest, as it will have greater security through decentralized technology. For the sake of being unbiased, let’s say the social networking aspect doesn’t differ from what’s currently available and that the payout for creating content is the same. Now add the second element of Cubiex, Crypto League and Battle Challenger for Peer2Peer and matchmaking prize pools. With CS:GO, PUBG, Fortnite, and Dota 2 being the first games integrated into the Cubiex, these implementations will crush the social networking competition. A gamer can make or lose money at any given time, based solely on skill. Algorithms match players of similar skill levels and the winner gets the pot. This is how amateur gamers make money like the pros! The last major area of interest is an effect of Cubiex gaining popularity, and more eSports players begin to utilize their platform. This could easily put Cubiex in the limelight, hosting eSports events. The average gamer spends approximately 1 ½ hours every day playing, or watching a streamer play, video games! It is estimated that they play at least an hour a day, while watching someone else play for roughly about a ½ hour daily. As a result, gamers watch just under 2.5 hours a week of someone else playing video games, compared to watching just over 3 hours of traditional sports. Watching gaming streamers and content creators is growing rapidly and beginning to challenge viewers of traditional sports. With so much time spent gaming and a huge shift over to watching eSports and gaming online, Cubiex is positioning itself to become one of the primary platforms for gamers, content creators, and eSports enthusiasts. Tie all that in with the next evolutionary step in technology and financing, the blockchain, Cubiex is preparing itself for the present and the future. The big question now is, how does the whole thing work with monetizing gamers? If you are familiar with other blockchain projects, it seems that Cubiex has taken a cue from Steem (not to be confused with Steam). To quote Cubiex’s whitepaper, “The CBIX protocol is a decentralized blockchain solution based on the Ethereum Blockchain technology…. Cubiex has a dual token model. While the CBIX token grants access to the Cubiex ecosystem, within the Cubiex ecosystem all transactions are handled by the Cubiex POWER token off chain.” What does this mean exactly? The CBIX token is the monetized token, while the POWER token is the utility token for the Cubiex platform. The POWER token cannot be exchanged for any kind of money aside from the CBIX token. All transactions on the Cubiex platform are done with the POWER token. Payments from Brand and Marketing firms, prize pools, content creation, and buying/selling digital items will all be done with the POWER token. The POWER token is then converted to CBIX when members would like to sell their tokens. The 1:1 conversion rate ensures stability on the platform, and once you have your CBIX tokens, you can then trade them on exchanges. # [Tokensale](https://www.cubiex.com/#ico) Token Metrics Ticker: CBIX (ERC20) Softcap: $1,500,000 Hardcap: $6,000,000 Total Supply: TBD Token Price: $0.10 Tokentype: ERC20 (Blockchain Agnostic) Stage: MVP Alpha Private Testnet As specified, the total supply is unknown as it is dependent upon how many tokens are sold at the close of the token sale. Let’s assume that the token sale sells out. Let’s also assume that roughly 67,000,000 tokens were sold for $6,000,000. That gives us a total supply of 268,000,000 tokens with a diluted marketcap of $26,800,000. In terms of ICO’s and blockchain projects, that’s pretty good. Many ICO’s ask for $25mln-$30mln, of which Cubiex is well below. Now let’s assume they just clear their softcap and reach $2,000,000, and we cut all the numbers by two-thirds. Rounding up, that leaves us with 23,000,000 tokens sold and 92,000,000 tokens in total. If you research blockchain projects and ICO’s, all of these numbers are in the most attractive ranges for projects you would consider investing in. The token distribution is typical of any ICO. The only concern evident is that the Cubiex Foundation holds 25% of the tokens. After inquiring about the Foundation, I learned those tokens will be locked for 3 years. Once unlocked, the Foundation tokens will be used to continue to grow Cubiex via partner acquisitions, sponsorships, host eSports events (if the opportunity arise), etc. In terms of scalability, Chahine has decided to build their token to be blockchain agnostic to overcome the issue, which is a huge advantage. The rapid continued growth in content creation for gaming places Cubiex in a key position. With two years of progress behind them, the project is looking extremely fruitful. Many gaming enthusiasts are on the cutting edge of technology and therefore see crypto and the blockchain as the next big advancement pertaining to said technology. "title": "Cubiex Introduces the Future for Amateur Gaming",
"body": "\nLike many industries, the top percentage of professionals in the gaming industry earn a majority of the revenue. \n\nCubiex aims to solve this issue by focusing on two main areas of interest. Building the first decentralized social network designed specifically for gamers and content creators, Cubiex is establishing a platform for players to challenge other players using crypto currency as a prize pool. \n\nAnother exciting feature the Cubiex team is currently developing will enable users to buy and sell digital items, a welcome feature that mirrors real life.\n\nCubiex is a German-based company founded by Pierre Chahine roughly 2 years ago. He has distinct knowledge of eSports being an amateur and pro-series player/manager for 15+ years. With his experience in eSports, coupled with business/financing degrees and 10 years in private banking, he has positioned himself into a unique opportunity to combine both sectors. \n\nTo help build his vision and ensure the best experience while using the Cubiex platform, Chahine has surrounded himself with strong talent. You can check out the whole Cubiex team and advisors [here](https://www.cubiex.com/#team) and find quick information, and the roadmap which they have been closely following [here](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Dv1VIVeGDusOLncNie_O7x0VMvxyGeuf/view).\n\nWhile Cubiex’s focus is on two main areas of interest, content creation through social networking and prize pools, a third major aspect as a result of the from the first two would be eSports. \n\nA rising concern in the gaming industry is a security breach within a client, and this is where Cubiex really stands out from the rest, as it will have greater security through decentralized technology. \n\nFor the sake of being unbiased, let’s say the social networking aspect doesn’t differ from what’s currently available and that the payout for creating content is the same. \n\nThe last major area of interest is an effect of Cubiex gaining popularity, and more eSports players begin to utilize their platform. This could easily put Cubiex in the limelight, hosting eSports events.\n\nThe average gamer spends approximately 1 ½ hours every day playing, or watching a streamer play, video games! Tie all that in with the next evolutionary step in technology and financing, the blockchain, Cubiex is preparing itself for the present and the future.\n\nThe big question now is, how does the whole thing work with monetizing gamers?\n\nIf you are familiar with other blockchain projects, it seems that Cubiex has taken a cue from Steem (not to be confused with Steam). \n\n# [Tokensale](https://www.cubiex.com/#ico)\nToken Metrics\nTicker: CBIX (ERC20)\nSoftcap: $1,500,000\nHardcap: $6,000,000\nTotal Supply: TBD\nToken Price: $0.10\nTokentype: ERC20 (Blockchain Agnostic)\nStage: MVP Alpha Private Testnet\n\n\nAs specified, the total supply is unknown as it is dependent upon how many tokens are sold at the close of the token sale. \n\nNow let’s assume they just clear their softcap and reach $2,000,000, and we cut all the numbers by two-thirds. Rounding up, that leaves us with 23,000,000 tokens sold and 92,000,000 tokens in total. If you research blockchain projects and ICO’s, all of these numbers are in the most attractive ranges for projects you would consider investing in. \n\nThe token distribution is typical of any ICO. The only concern evident is that the Cubiex Foundation holds 25% of the tokens. After inquiring about the Foundation, I learned those tokens will be locked for 3 years. Once unlocked, the Foundation tokens will be used to continue to grow Cubiex via partner acquisitions, sponsorships, host eSports events (if the opportunity arise), etc.\n\nIn terms of scalability, Chahine has decided to build their token to be blockchain agnostic to overcome the issue, which is a huge advantage.\n\nThe rapid continued growth in content creation for gaming places Cubiex in a key position. With two years of progress behind them, the project is looking extremely fruitful. Many gaming enthusiasts are on the cutting edge of technology and therefore see crypto and the blockchain as the next big advancement pertaining to said technology. With the gaming industry being one of the top five industries in crypto, what can be better than a project that hosts games and gamers and enables them to make revenue through competing against others?\n \n# Links\n\n[Cubiex](https://www.cubiex.com/)\n[Onepager](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Dv1VIVeGDusOLncNie_O7x0VMvxyGeuf/view)\n[Whitepaper v1.3](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jhrhjCwyMr7ySK4kKQT8EV2eIWysPQ79/view)\n[Medium](https://medium.com/@CubiexeSports)\n[Telegram](https://t.me/cubiexesports)\n[Twitter](https://twitter.com/CubiexEsports)\n[Linked in](https://www.linkedin.com/company/cubiex-com/)\n[Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/CubiexEsports/)",

| body | Aergo is aiming to disrupt the blockchain ecosystem by developing a 4th generation blockchain protocol combined with an IT platform. There are three major architectural functions which form the Aergo platform. First, Aergo Chain is designed to address current issues within public blockchains. It’s consensus algorithm will utilize delegated proof of stake (DPOS) with a reputation and proposal governance. It’s smart contract platform will include SQL and it boosts 1 million plus transactions per second with sidechain technology. Secondly, Aergo Hub is a hosting service for testing and deploying independent blockchains. Services included with Aergo hub include: Smart Oracle, Aergo Repository, Serverlesss database, Named Data Networking, Micro Services, and Content Delivery Network. Third, the Aergo Marketplace will enable the sale and purchase of peer-to-peer computing assets. These assets include: Storage, Computing Power, Algorithms, Contents, ETC. Aergo’s ecosystem has five key stakeholder groupls. These include: General community and future end-application users (supporters and enthusiasts), Geographic enablers (regional business partners), Open-source developer community (developers), Technology providers (blockchain hosts and cloud/telco providers), Platform users (dApp providers, BLOCKO’ customers and partners). |
