Enjoy.\nDark Souls is my most favourite video game franchise (I've got all achievements in DS 1 & 2, didn't have time for that in DS3 because of the piano...), I decided to put everything into this cover I had :D\n\nNow on the cover itself: I wrote it a few months ago, when I had holidays... It took forever, I'm not gonna put that much work into a cover again! :D\nThe problem about the sheets is, that I wrote them only at my computer and away from the piano, which is why it's over the top and written without any kind of feelings or intuition. I will try to change that in the future. \nHowever, it has some good parts. I went on putting a lot of original thins into the cover. I'm proud of some ideas I had for it. For example the build up to the first chorus from 2:09 to 2:37. It's usually not like this in the original, it's way quieter, but that way I can reference to the first chorus in the last chorus. :)\nMy best idea for this cover in my opinion though, was to use the Namless Song, which is the Credit's Song from Dark Souls 1, as a transition from Ab minor back to C minor at 4:48. In the original that part doesn't exist and the transition is just silence. \nBut in gerneral, the chords are too simple and not really appealing, the rythm is not intresting at all and it's over the top and not that well performed... But I might redo this cover in a few years when I'm great at arranging! \nMy performance is not the best, I know, but considering this cover is 7 minutes long, I think it's okay.\nEven more so considering that I've only been playing for 3 years now :D\n\nSince this is still the start of my channel, I experimented with mics and camera a lot again... I think I'm going to position everything completely different the next time :'D\n\nAnyways, this cover is dedicated to all of my subscribers! Enjoy.\\nDark Souls is my most favourite video game franchise (I've got all achievements in DS 1 & 2, didn't have time for that in DS3 because of the piano...), I decided to put everything into this cover I had :D\\n\\nNow on the cover itself: I wrote it a few months ago, when I had holidays... It took forever, I'm not gonna put that much work into a cover again! :D\\nThe problem about the sheets is, that I wrote them only at my computer and away from the piano, which is why it's over the top and written without any kind of feelings or intuition. I will try to change that in the future. \\nHowever, it has some good parts. I went on putting a lot of original thins into the cover. I'm proud of some ideas I had for it. For example the build up to the first chorus from 2:09 to 2:37. It's usually not like this in the original, it's way quieter, but that way I can reference to the first chorus in the last chorus. :)\\nMy best idea for this cover in my opinion though, was to use the Namless Song, which is the Credit's Song from Dark Souls 1, as a transition from Ab minor back to C minor at 4:48. In the original that part doesn't exist and the transition is just silence. \\nBut in gerneral, the chords are too simple and not really appealing, the rythm is not intresting at all and it's over the top and not that well performed... But I might redo this cover in a few years when I'm great at arranging! \\nMy performance is not the best, I know, but considering this cover is 7 minutes long, I think it's okay.\\nEven more so considering that I've only been playing for 3 years now :D\\n\\nSince this is still the start of my channel, I experimented with mics and camera a lot again... I think I'm going to position everything completely different the next time :'D\\n\\nAnyways, this cover is dedicated to all of my subscribers! I was not able to record or practice this or any other piece. That's why this cover is so delayed. But looking on the bright side, this video has the best video and audio quality so far! It's not really well written, but the quality is alright. :D\\nI adjusted the speed partially a bit, because I think it doesn't sound that broing, if you don't keep the 88 BPM constantly. :)\\nThere's this one mistake at 1:51... It's just half of a mistake; The problem with this piece is, that it is very redundant. You got 2 melodies in the entire song which are constantly repeated, so i changed that a bit into this... It sounds strange, but I somehow really like how it sounds, it's personal taste I guess. Also I was very tired while recording and had enough of that song.^^\\nThe sheets for my next cover are already written and 11 pages long, it's gonna be my most difficult and advanced cover so far, the Credit's Song of Dark Souls 3: Epilogue!
