      "body": "It's Sunday again and I'm out cooking again heh. I've always been a fan of Chinese food, especially anything with stuffings, like steamed buns, dim sums, and of course dumplings!\n\nTo satisfy my cravings (again), I decided to make my own dumplings! \n\n![IMG_1394.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmcV1B2YUVb6foo6BfwE8vZ3tBsjH78MwvCMuhDaLEqGCM/IMG_1394.jpg)\n\nSo let's get into it! These are the ingredients that I used to make mine:\n\n![IMG_1382.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmY5fHWyjECipobttBfvVrgSWcKfcSKFwJUkhpNZYQPjDS/IMG_1382.jpg)\n\nFor it's skin I used store-bought dumpling skins. As for the stuffings:\n\n- Minced pork\n- Fresh shrimps (small)\n- White turnips (a.k.a sengkuang, for the crunch!)\n- Minced garlic\n- Coriander (Really heightens the taste and the freshness of the ingredients IMHO)\n- White Pepper\n- Salt\n- Soy sauce\n\nSo, when dealing with the skin, I used extra flour for smoother separation to avoid tear, and used clear water as sealing agent (sounds so posh mmm). \n\nMy twist for the stuffing is to stir-fry the turnip with garlic first and season it with salt. Then I let it cool and mix them with raw minced meat and the rest of the ingredients. They will last me at least 4-5 meals (around 30 pcs of them from the ingredients I bought).
