| title | MANAGING COVID-19 PATIENTS AT HOME |
| body | WHAT IS COVID-19 SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, is a new virus that is causing serious illnesses. Most patients have fever, dry cough, muscle pain, and extreme weakness. In the majority of patients, symptoms last for 2–3 weeks and often resolve spontaneously. In some patients, COVID-19 can be a more serious illness causing pneumonia or affecting other organs. SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19 These symptoms may appear 2–14 days after exposure. • Fever • Cough • Shortness of breath • Loss of smell or taste. Emergency warning signs • Trouble breathing • Persistent pain or pressure in the chest • New confusion or inability to arouse. • Bluish lips or face. CARING FOR A COVID-19 PATIENT AT HOME These precautions should last until medical authorities clear the patient. MONITORING THE PATIENT a) Check the patient’s temperature twice a day. b) Monitor for new symptoms such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, blue fingers or face, palpitations, changes in mental status, confusion, or swelling of legs. ISOLATION DIRECTIONS a) Affected person should be in a separate room. Make sure to have good air circulation in the room. For example, air conditioning or keeping a window open. b) The patient should avoid all contact with older people, pregnant women, or anyone with compromised immunity. c)The patient should always wear a mask and keep at least six feet away if the caregiver has to come into the room. d) If possible, the patient should have a separate bathroom. If this is not possible, all other unaffected family members should use caution when using shared facilities. Use diluted bleach to wipe down the door handles, toilet seat and handles, sinks, etc., each time the patient uses the bathroom. The patient should have their own toilet roll and towels, which should be kept separately. e) The affected person should eat in their room, and if possible, use disposable plates, knives, and forks. If not, use gloves when washing their plates, spoons, knives, and forks. Use diluted bleach and rinse well. HYGIENE AND CLEANING a) Patients and caregivers should wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, regularly. b) Encourage the patient to have a daily bath. c)The affected person’s clothes should be washed separately and with a bleach containing detergent using a hot wash (90°C) for at least 30 minutes. d) Use disposable gloves and a mask when entering the affected person’s room. e) Dispose of the patient’s trash carefully. Use gloves and avoid handling it with your bare hands. f) SARS-CoV-2 can live on cardboard, plastic, and food surfaces for several days. Discard all packaging or disinfect surfaces by wiping them down with a disinfectant solution. Wash all fruits and vegetables for at least 20 seconds using soap and water. Heat appears to kill the virus. However, frozen foods may harbor the virus, so make sure all food is heated well. Microwaving until steam rises also appears to kill coronavirus. EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL HEALTH a) Try to keep the patient’s spirits up. Communicate regularly with them via phone, video calls, or social media. b) Confirmed COVID‑19 patients often have symptoms such as regret and resentment, loneliness, helplessness, depression, anxiety and phobia, irritation and sleep deprivation, and even panic attacks. i) Try slow breathing, relaxation, meditation, and mindfulness. ii)If these symptoms are persistent or recurring, please seek professional help. |

| title | Femoral Neck Fractures and Exercise |
| body | In today article I will discuss about exercises you can do to help you build more bone density, more strength and bone quality in your femoral neck. So, where is that? Femoral neck, it is the neck of the femur. the femur is the leg bone, the thigh bone connecting the knee joint to the pelvis. So, this whole bone from pelvis to knee is the femur. Now, why do we care about it? Well, there are certain parts of our body that has more soft bone, or trabecular bone. Throughout our body, we have cortical bone, very hard bone, and we have the soft spongy bone. So, the long shaft of our femur that has lots of cortical bone. It's the type of bone that you would give your dog to chew on. Usually, it's a cross-section of the femur of a cow, and you know, your dog will chew on it for weeks sometimes because it's very strong cortical bone. But, that bone in the neck of your femur, just as the bone in each vertebrae, in your ribs, in your skull, those bones have a very high percentage of trabecular bone, soft spongy bone, so they're at a higher risk of being fractured if you're doing things that require or put it above and beyond what the bone quality is able to withstand, or what the bone strength is able to withstand. So, let's discuss about building, and then the second thing we're going to discuss about is how to protect in exercises, specifically neck of your femur. So, a recent very small study, but nicely done study, in the Journal of Physical Therapy Science looked specifically at whether closed kinetic chain or open kinetic chain exercises helped the neck of the femur. And they found that closed kinetic chain... So, whenever a person is standing and his feet are in contact with the floor, that exercise is now a closed kinetic chain exercise. So, a squat, a lunge, jumping, stepping, you have that foot contact to the ground. That is a closed kinetic chain. In an open kinetic chain, you might have been given such an exercise in rehabilitation, or you'll sometimes see it in the gym where there are pads to hook your feet under, and you're asked to lift the weight, and so the exercise, there's no ground contact with the base of your feet, and so that is an open kinetic chain exercise, versus a squat where your feet are in contact with the floor and you're pressing up tall. So, let's just review the form of doing a proper squat. So, ideally, with time, and as you feel strong, and as your form is solidified, you want to eventually move to doing weighted squats. So, some of physiotherapy clients who already have spinal fractures, they'll put weights or a weighted belt on. There's clients, with healthier spines, will use the weights on their shoulders. Either way, your gaze and your chest are kept up. Before you even begin your squat, you're going to think about the space between your feet, and you're going to spread that space all the while that you do the squat, and you're going to spread the space between your knees. So, if you even just do that now, if you stood up as you're reading to this blog, you'd go, "Wow, that really engages the legs so much more." So just imagine, my imaginary weights are on my shoulder behind neck, I'm taking a breath in. I start to blow, tightening my pelvic floor to keep my pelvic floor safe. As I'm coming down, I'm spreading the space between my feet, and my eyes are just above the horizon, and then I push up firmly into the Earth. So, that is a squat. So, there are other great exercises, and you can find them on Exercise for Better Bones, for strengthening the neck of your femur. Now, part two, as promised, is how to protect your femur now that you know you have low bone density. So, for those of you who love practicing yoga, I highly recommend that you avoid doing the pigeon pose. You can still do a lovely figure four. You'll see that stretch, also, in Exercise for Better Bones, but it's the same type of rotation in a figure four, lying on the floor, that you would get, but without the loading of your body over an already susceptible neck of the femur. So, you don't want to put the neck of your femur under all that torque, and then put the weight of your body on it. So, exercise intelligently, keep safe. |

| title | Friendship & Vulnerability |
| body | We're sometimes not too sure how we get into good friendships. It seems to happen rather mysteriously. We talk of somewhat randomly clicking with people. Trying to plan for this sounds like cheating. but there is something at the heart of many friendships that seemed important to identify and in a way to get good at: Vulnerability. It's too easy to assume that what makes us likable , are our strengths our accomplishments, the things we're proud of. Certainly this impresses, but it isn't what draws others to us. We get close to someone the more they, and we find ourselves able gracefully to depart from the official story of what human beings are like, and can start to show the awkward truths which underlie the cheerful facade. These are the truths with which we've been lonely for too long. How unlike normal sexuality our sex lives actually are; how full of envy are our careers are proving; how unsatisfactory our family can be; how worried we are, all the time. Revealing any of these things places us in great danger. Others could laugh; social media would have a field day. That's the point. We can only get close by revealing things which would, in the wrong hands, be capable of inflicting appalling humiliation on us. Friendship is the dividend of gratitude, that flows from acknowledgement that one has offered something very valuable to someone. Not a fancy present, but something even more precious: the key to one's self-esteem and dignity. It's deeply poignant that we should expend so much effort on trying to look strong before the world. When, all the while, it's really only ever the revelation of the somewhat embarrassing, sad melancholy and anxious bits of us that are what makes us endearing to others and can transform strangers into friends. |

| title | This is the Most Dangerous World Record to Beat |
| body | .jpg) In the long history of insane people trying to one-up another in stupidly dangerous world records, one of these records stands above all the others as being the most dangerous. That record is the water speed world record. How fast you can make yourself move while on the water. The current world record was set in 1978, and every official attempt to beat it since has resulted in the person attempting it getting themselves killed. But what makes the attempt so dangerous? It should be pretty obvious if you watch a video of one of these attempts. Traveling at insanely fast speeds of several hundred miles per hour, on flimsy boats on a lake is a recipe for disaster waiting to happen. But before the current world record in 1978 was set, the record was already an elusive and deadly prize. Going fast on the water for most of history wasn't really an exciting feat, until we figured out how to put gasoline engines on boats. In the 1930s, the competition for the water speed record was in a tight race that kept going back and forth between an American and British team of idiot geniuses. The first casualty in pursuit of the record was perhaps the ironically named Englishman Sir Henry Seagrave, who in 1930 set the world record at 99 mph (159 kph). Apparently unsatisfied with not breaking past 100 mph (160 kph), he set out immediately afterwards on the same day to try again, but this time his boat struck an object in the water, which caused it to capsize and killed both him and his co-pilot. The record continued to go back and forth between the Americans and the British, until a guy named Malcolm Campbell (bet you'll never guess which of the countries he belonged to), locked the record in place in 1939, before that big global war kind of stopped people from trying for a while. Once the 1950s came around though, and people started figuring out how to put jet engines on their boats. The fatalities of people trying REALLY began to skyrocket. An Englishman named John Cobb wanted to be the first person to break the 200 mph (320 kph) speed barrier, and built a jet-powered boat called Crusader to do it. In 1952, out on Loch Ness, he managed to get up to 210 mph (337 kph), and achieved his goal and the record. But the boat's front plane unfortunately collapsed, which caused the boat to instantly disintegrate, causing Cobb to die from shock. Two years later, in 1954, the pursuit of the record would claim its next life. The Italian Motorboat Federation was offering a 5,000,000 lira price to any Italian that could beat the record. So, two Italian businessmen built a piston engine hydroplane named Laura 3. Traveling across a lake in Northern Italy, the boat was going fast at 190 mph (306 kph), but ultimately became unstable and the pilots lost control of it. The boat somersaulted through the water and threw one of the pilots out, which didn't result in him surviving. Following these disasters, a guy named Donald Campbell, son of the previously mentioned Malcolm Campbell, decide to break the record himself. Learning many lessons from Cobb and the Italian designers, he created a new craft called K7 that returned to the classic 3-pointer design that was built entirely out of metal to increase rigidity. Over the next 9 years, Campbell and K7 went on to break the world record 7 times! Finally getting up to a speed of 276 mph (445 kph) in 1967. He became the most prolific water speed record breaker of all time, and he could have retired then. But for whatever sad reason he didn't. He wanted to go even further and equipped K7 with even more powerful engines to try and beat his own record for an 8th time! He sped across the lake at an average speed of 295 mph (475 kph), and whether he got cocky or just reckless, he decided to go back across the lake immediately before the water had settled down. On this return run, K7 began to lose stability and Just 400 meters short of the finish line, K7's nose lifted beyond it's critical pitch, took off, somersaulted, and smashed into the water, nose first, breaking up as it cartwheeled across the surface. It took two weeks of searching just to discover the wreckage. But it wasn't until 33 YEARS later in 2001 that Campbell's body was actually discovered! The world record that I mentioned at the beginning of this video was finally set in 1978 by the Australian Ken Warby. He managed to get an average speed of 317.6 mph (511 kph) during his run. He survived to talk about it. But the next two attempts to beat his record did not. The first was by an American name Lee Taylor who had already gotten himself into a horrible crash that nearly killed him over a decade previously. Determined to take the record from Warby though, he scheduled his attempt for November 13, 1980 but when the day arrived he found the conditions on the lake unfavorable and cancelled. Not wanting to disappoint the spectators and media though, he went on a test run anyway and hit a swell which caused the boat to start violently shaking at the high speeds. The boat ended up collapsing into the water which claimed Taylor's life in front of everybody who had gathered to watch him. The final official attempt at breaking the record was in 1989, when Craig Arfons raced in his fiberglass Kevlar boat that's probably an Xbox Live gamer tag somewhere named Rain X Challenger. But like so many before him, his boat somersaulted at 300 mph (483 kph) and killed him. Ever since those two disasters, no official attempts have been made to break Ken Warby's record set back in 1978. But despite the high accident and fatality rate, the water speed record remains highly coveted, by both boat enthusiasts and racers. |

| title | 5 "Impossible" Things That Can Happen On Other Planets |
| body | .jpg) There are some things that are just not possible on our planet. It would certainly be understandable that you would think that if it's impossible here on Earth, then it would be impossible everywhere else in the universe. But that's simply not the case. And the universe is far stranger than any of us can actually believe. Let's begin with shadows. Your shadow on Earth is always alone and you're always used to seeing it this way as it follows during the day. You're also used to seeing everyone else with just one shadow, but this isn't a universal thing that would be experienced elsewhere. You have one shadow because our primary light source on Earth is our sun. But what would happen if there were two suns? A planet that orbits two stars would look much like Tatooine from Star Wars, with two brilliant sunsets each day and two shadows instead of one for each person. It used to only be science fiction until the planet Kepler-16b was discovered, which is a place that orbits two different stars. If you were suddenly teleported to the surface of the planet, you would likely die from the extreme temperatures and lack of air to breathe. But assuming that you were teleported in a suit that could help you survive, then you would experience having two different shadows. A friend for your always lonely shadow that you experience on Earth. Our next extremely bizarre place is a planet that is likely completely covered in water. An ocean planet named GJ1214-b. The planet is several times larger than the Earth, which makes the Pacific Ocean on our planet seem like a puddle in comparison. Even though water covers over 70% of the Earth's surface, water only accounts for 0,005% of the Earth's total mass. On GJ1214-b however, water may account for up to 10% of the planet's total mass. Which means that the entire planet would be covered in an ocean hundreds of kilometers deep. Our own ocean goes down only a mere eleven kilometers and we already have terrifying monsters like this, and this, or huge whales like this. So, one's imagination can run absolutely wild with what fantastical monsters could exist in an ocean that's over 10 times deeper than our own. Who knows what could be lurking there if you crash landed your ship on the surface. But what is known is that at the very bottom of this massive ocean, hundreds of kilometers beneath the surface, the pressure would be so intense that the water at the bottom would be transformed into an exotic form of ice known as Ice 7. This ice wouldn't be like ice that you know on Earth. It wouldn't be cold at all, but would remain in a solid form. This doesn't happen naturally on Earth, but neither does our next bizarre example. Weather on Earth is often violent and unpredictable, but it's extremely tame compared to other places in the universe. Take the planet COROT-7b for example, where instead of raining water it rains down rocks. This is because half of the planet is scorching hot at 2,600 C, while the other half is far cooler at 177 C. The temperature on the hot side is enough to vaporize rocks. And just like how water will evaporate and condense into clouds on Earth, so too will rocks condense into rock clouds on this planet. These strange rock clouds will then rain liquid rock or magma back onto the surface. But since the atmosphere is cooler the farther up it goes and the temperature on the cool side is far lower, the magma rain will often harden into rocks before striking the ground. This planet seems like the closest place to hell that a place in the universe could get. But another planet has perhaps even more bizarre weather. This planet, known as HD189773-b, is located 63 light years away from us, is a little larger than Jupiter and looks stunningly beautiful from space. But that beauty is hiding a terrifying secret. It looks this way because the planet's atmosphere is made up primarily of silicate particles. Winds on the planet can scream at 5,400mph, equal to 2km/s or 7 times the speed of sound. Temperatures can reach up to 930 C. But most terrifying of all is that the planet rains glass sideways in its extremely violent 2 km per second winds. This is so fast and scary that if a storm like that happened to appear on Earth, it would travel across the entire planet at the equator in just five hours and 35 minutes. And leave behind a shredded trail of glass. But even this storm pales in comparison to the mightiest wind so far known in our entire universe. The wind on the planet HD189733-b. This is a gas planet with one side always facing its star, where temperatures can reach a scorching 966 C. But the temperature on the dark side is still very hot at 688 C. So, how does the dark side remain so hot still? The answer is extremely, wickedly fast wind, possibly up to 22,000mph, equal to 10km per second or nearly 29 times the speed of sound. For reference, the fastest ever recorded wind on the Earth happened during a tornado in Oklahoma back in 1999. And that was only 301 mph (484 kmh), or 73 times less than a nightmare storm on this giant that's raging right now as you're watching this video. If you made yourself a kite and flew through the wind, then you could zip around the entire Earth in a mere one hour and eight minutes. But perhaps the most interesting place is somewhere that's much closer to home. Specifically, this place called Titan, which is a moon of Saturn. It has such a thick atmosphere, that we didn't even know what its surface looked like until 2005, which if you're curious, it looks like this. But Titan is a very bizarre place. It has an atmosphere, rivers and lakes and it even rains like on Earth. But the temperature is a bone shattering negative 179 C, which is so cold that water is as hard as rocks and the chemical methane exist in a liquid state. The clouds, rivers and lakes on the moon are made of methane, which is the primary component of natural gas. Only 20% of Titan's surface has ever been mapped, but it is estimated that in that region alone, there is hundreds of times more natural gas and oil than is located on all of Earth. There is so much gas on Titan, that it literally rains it. It's an oil tycoon's dream. And maybe the best way to encourage space travels' to let a few countries know about Titan. But even more strange, you could actually theoretically fly on Titan. The atmosphere is thick enough and the gravity is weak enough that if attached a pair of wings to your arms and made a running jump, then you could actually flap around the moon like a bird, taking in all the alien sights of rivers and lakes. Of course you would need a suit to protect yourself, but still, you could fly just like in your dreams and achieve something that's impossible here on Earth. There are over 1,000 confirmed planets that have been discovered outside of our solar system so far. |

"title": "5 \"Impossible\" Things That Can Happen On Other Planets",
"body": ".jpg)\nThere are some things that are just not possible on our planet. \n\nA planet that orbits two stars would look much like Tatooine from Star Wars, with two brilliant sunsets each day and two shadows instead of one for each person. But another planet has perhaps even more bizarre weather. | title | The Ocean is Way Deeper Than You Think |
| body | .jpg) The ocean is really, really deep, deeper, in fact, than most of us realize. If you were to shave off all of the land from the tops of every continent and island in the world and fill up the ocean's deepest points with that land, then the entire earth would be covered in an ocean 2 miles deep. Three fourths of our planet is already covered in water though, and it goes a lot deeper than just two miles. Let's start with a sense of scale. This dot right here is the size of an average human. This slightly larger dot is the size of an elephant. And this is the size of the largest ship ever built, the Knock Nevis. With that in mind, let's start going under water and see what we find out. The first milestone is at 40 meters below the surface, which is the maximum depth allowed for recreational scuba diving. A little further down at 93 meters is where the wreck of the Lusitania was discovered, which is interesting because the Lusitania itself is 240 meters long, which means that it sank in water shallower than it is long. .jpg) So if the ship was standing on its stern or bow, it would be sticking out of the water. Just slightly deeper than that at 100 meters is where diving can become seriously fatal if you're not careful because of decompression sickness. But that didn't stop a man named Herbert Nitsch to accomplish the free diving world record at a depth of 214 meters. This guy swam down to this level with just one single breath. But a little further down at 332 meters, we have the scuba diving world record which was accomplished by another man named Ahmed Gabr. If he had swam down another 111 meters then he would have reached the height of the Empire State Building if it was submerged under water. And a little further than that at 500 meters below the surface, we arrive at the maximum dive depth of Blue Whales, the largest creatures on the planet and also the limit of the US Seawolf Class Nuclear Submarine. At 535 meters we can witness the maximum dive depth of Emperor Penguins. And this is one we must bring up the intensity of water pressure. At this level below the surface, the water pressure exerted on a person or the penguins would be roughly equivalent to a polar bear standing on a quarter. So further down the depths at 830 meters would be the height of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the tallest building in the world. Once we hit 1,000 meters below the surface, we begin to enter the scary zone. Light from the surface can no longer reach beyond this point, so the rest of the ocean below is shrouded in permanent darkness. On top of that, the water pressure you would experience at this point would be about the same as if you were standing on the surface of the planet Venus, meaning that you would die very quickly. You would also meet the Giant Squid at this sea level if the water pressure didn't already kill you. At 1,280 meters we reach the maximum depth dived to by the Leatherback Sea Turtle. And further down at 1,828 meters we would reach the deepest part of the Grand Canyon were it to be underwater with us. Down at 2,000 meters, we start to encounter some of the more terrifying sea creatures like the ominously named Black Dragonsih, a carnivorous beast with a stomach that doesn't allow light to be emitted through it. Meaning that since we are in total darkness underwater at this point, the only way you would ever see this thing is with a flashlight. A little further down at 2,250 meters we would reach the maximum depth dived to by both Sperm Whales and the very frightening Colossal Squid. Sperm Whales often have sucker marks and scars left on their bodies from battles with the Colossal Squid that likely take place at these incredible depths. The squids themselves can grow to be 14 meters long and weigh up to 750 kilograms with eyes the size of a dinner plate and razor-sharp sickles in the middle of their tentacles. So yeah, good luck with that down there. Way further down at 3,800 meters we can find the wreck of the RMS Titanic. And a bit past that at 4,000 meters, we start to enter the Abyssal Zone of the ocean. Water pressure is at an astonishing 11,000 pounds per square inch down here. And there are numerous strange, almost alien like creatures that inhabit these depths, such as the Fing Tooth, Angler Fish, and Viper Fish. Down at 4,267 meters is the average depth of the ocean where you would normally expect to hit the floor. But there are parts of the ocean that go significantly deeper than even this. At 4,791 meters rests the wreckage of the battleship Bismarck, sunk during World War II. And way down at 6,000 meters is the beginning of the Hadal Zone, named after the underworld Hades, itself. The water pressure down at these depths can become 1,100 times what you would experience way back on top at the surface, which is roughly equal to an elephant balancing on a postage stamp, or a single person carrying the weight of 50 Boeing 747 jumbo jets. Down at these depths, you would be crushed immediately without any outside protection. But life still exists down here in various strange forms. At 6,500 meters we reach the maximum depth that the DSV Alvin can dive to, a popular research submarine that helped to discover the Titanic. Way further down at 8,848 meters below the surface and we have arrived at the height of Mt. Everest, were it to be upside down and placed underwater. And then way further past even that at 10,898 meters, we arrive at the depth reached by James Cameron in 2012 during the Deep Sea Challenger Mission. The deepest point of the ocean yet reached by humans was back in 1960 though, when two men named Don Walsh and Jacques Piccard reached a depth of 10,916 meters using their [? Trieste ?] submarine. It took them five hours to descend through the ocean to this depth. And they only stayed for 20 minutes before a window cracked and they began to resurface. Just a bit further down from there at 10,972 meters and we've reached the average flight altitude of a commercial airliner. So if you've ever looked out of a window while on a flight and looked down to the ground, that's a very good sense of how incredibly deep down into the abyss that we are currently at. Finally, when we hit 10,994 meters we have hit the bottom of the known ocean, called the Challenger Deep, right here on this map just about 300 kilometers southwest of Guam Island. However, it is believed that there are almost certainly even deeper parts of the ocean than this that just haven't been discovered yet. It wasn't until 1997 after all that the Sirena Deep was discovered with a depth of 10,732 meters, making it the second deepest known point in the ocean. It is estimated that only about 5% of the ocean's floor has been accurately mapped, leaving the other 95% to be currently a mystery. It may be only a matter of time before an even deeper part of our ocean is found. And who knows what we may discover there |

| title | What is Time? |
| body | .jpg) Time is something that everyone is familiar with. 60 seconds is one minute 60 minutes is one hour 24 hours is one day and so on. this is known as linear time and is something that everyone is familiar with an agrees upon but consider this if someone came up to you on the street and asked you to draw time what would you draw? you might draw a clock or a watch ticking every second or you might draw a calendar with X's over each day to represent the passing of time but that's all those drawings would be just physical representations of the passing of time. those drawings would just scrape the surface of the Enigma that is time something that seemingly runs our lives and is unavoidable can't be explained by even the smartest people on earth so what is time and can we prove the time even exists [Music] Aristotle once said time is the most unknown of all unknown things that was nearly 2500 years ago and it still stands true today if you were to go to google and type in what is time you would find that it says time as a dimension and in many ways it is when you text a friend and ask them to meet for coffee you wouldn't give them a place without a time however there's a flaw in that definition of time it leaves too many doors unopened because time is also a measurement for example I was born in the 1990s that was over 20 years ago if I were to say I was born 18 billion kilometers in the past that wouldn't make much sense and people would probably look at me like I'm crazy with spacial dimensions the 3d world that we live in it's very easy to go back and forth between places because these things are essentially fixed in space if I went to the store to buy groceries and I forgot milk I could easily go back and buy some milk however the time that it took to do that is unable to be retrieved it is lost forever into the past an object placed in 3d space will stay there almost indefinitely if I place the bottle on the table it will just stay there but that bottle still falls victim to time see time is like an arrow it moves in one direction forward scientists fittingly called this the arrow of time if you one day woke up and found yourself floating in the middle of empty space would you be able to tell which way is up down left or right probably not however time is a much simpler ordeal see time comes from the past originating at the Big Bang where our history lies and is fixed through the present where we are essentially prisoners of towards the unknown and turbulent future we can remember things from the past like how I can tell you that this morning I went to the store bought groceries and then forgot to buy milk but at the same time I can't tell you what I ate for breakfast next Thursday the arrow of time originated at the Big Bang and has been moving forward ever since we used the second law of thermodynamics to represent this it is known as entropy think of entropy as a measure of disorder in the universe at the Big Bang all the matter in the universe was compacted into an infinitely small point this is considered a very low entropy situation a very orderly situation it would be similar to stuffing every sock that was ever made into one drawer in that situation you know with 100% certainty where your socks would be ever since the Big Bang all the matter in the universe has been expanding away from each other making the universe a higher entropy system because of entropy and because of the arrow of time we have galaxies stars planets and even life entropy is the reason that you can tell the difference between the past in the future it explains why every human is born and then lives and then dies always in that order if there were no entropy if there were no change in the universe you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the year 2017 and the year 1 billion no matter what you do time moves forward and doesn't stop for anyone or anything at least on the macro scale see the arrow of time works and is extremely noticeable on large scales the skills that you and I operate on every day but at a quantum level time operates differently take the situation where you woke up in the middle of space there you have no idea which way is up down left or right it's a very unique situation that only applies in the vastness of empty space but if you come back to earth it's very easy for you to orient yourself the arrow of time works in a similar way on a macro level the big level it's very easy for you to tell that the year of 1900 is different from the year 2018 it's very easy to view the flow of time however on a micro scale if we look at deep down into the physics that make up the universe entropy and subsequently time isn't so obvious if I were to record myself cracking an egg and pouring its guts into a bowl and then I reversed the footage you would easily be able to tell that the footage had been reversed however if I record a pendulum swinging back and forth for five minutes and then reversed the footage and show it to a random person on the street will they be able to tell that that footage has been reversed the answer is probably not see the arrow of time seems to flow in one direction on the macro scale but as you take parts of it away and skim it down to the bare bones of particles that make up the universe time seems to work and flow in every direction both forward and backward there are no laws of physics that states the past is any different from the future the only reason why you can think about what you want to have for dinner tomorrow as opposed to what you want to have for dinner yesterday is because of the arrow of time because of entropy because the universe had a beginning or at least it seems like it you might be starting to see why the arrow of time and entropy are so important they quite literally govern our lives and the universe see the fact that entropy is increasing is well known it's the reason why life today is the way that it is however not many people are addressing the question that is why was the entropy of the universe so low in the first place well the answer is simple it was lower yesterday than it was today you can take this logic all the way back to the Big Bang you hear that a lot the universe came into being at the instance of the Big Bang and for all we know as of now that may be true however it might not be true we have the physics of Einstein's general relativity that allow us to go back to mere seconds after the Big Bang but after that our equations break down that's as far as we can go for now there's no law of physics yet that states that there wasn't time before the Big Bang and perhaps a reversed arrow of time we just don't have the science to look that far back yet in a previous video of mine entitled the end of our universe I discussed the situation that may occur in the distant future because the universe is expanding and because entropy is increasing with time there will eventually be a time where everything in the universe is so far apart from one another that space will essentially be empty everything will be too far apart to interact with one another all the way down to the atoms that make up everything in the universe however just as the temperature outside fluctuates day to day so does the entropy in the universe albeit very small fluctuations are small time scales such as a human life overrun realtime skills such as tenth of attempts at the 10 to the 56 years it is possible that quantum fluctuations could cause an extremely random extreme entropy decrease this would create conditions similar to the Big Bang as we know it and could explain the arrow of time and the origin of our universe however in order to answer these questions we need to unite quantum mechanics with Einstein's general relativity this would provide a scientific link between the quantum world of atoms with the macro world of stars galaxies and black holes in the universe this is dubbed the theory of everything and is something that many scientists are working on right now with this theory we may be able to for the first time be able to explain how and why the universe we live in came into existence and maybe even prove that the multiverse exists if you'd like to help in finding a theory of everything and go down in history as a scientific genius then you'll definitely need to study up on relativity as well as the quantum world |

| title | What's the Tallest Thing We Can Possibly Build? |
| body | .jpg) 12,000 years ago in the hills of Modern-day turkey our ancient ancestors built What is to our knowledge the oldest temple in the world? It has always been a human desire to see how far up into the sky their creations can reach ancient humans used to gaze up at the night sky and dream about reaching the stars with their buildings it is only natural for Humanity to push further than ever before and to build taller and taller than anybody before them But surely there must be a limit to how tall we can eventually build something, right? What is actually the tallest thing that we could theoretically ever build? to begin with a sense of scale This is a standard height for a one-story family home about four and a half meters tall above the ground moving up from there at 128 meters High is the tallest statue in the world a statue, so Tall that if you jumped from the top of its head it would take you five and a half seconds before hitting the ground just a bit higher at 139 meters is the tallest Roller coaster in the world But that's not quite as high up as the great pyramid of giza which was built a very long time ago in 2500 70 BC once completed it was by far the tallest thing that we humans had ever built and it maintained that record for an unbelievable three thousand eight hundred Eighty-one years until it was finally beaten in the year thirteen Eleven in England the Lincoln cathedral reached a soaring height of 160 meters into the sky and that remained the tallest thing that humans had ever achieved until kind of recently in 1884 when the Washington monument in Washington DC. Finally surpassed its height at 169 meters the tallest Ferris wheel in the world Currently is Roughly the same height as this Monument, so the monument clearly didn't remain the tallest structure for very long the Eiffel tower Surpassed it quickly and was 301 meters high above the ground which Absolutely dwarfed everything that humans had ever built before it the Eiffel tower Kind of opened up Pandora's box though in terms of how tall we could possibly build something with the advent of wrought iron and steel the height of our structures could get much greater the Chrysler building at 319 meters tall finally unseated the Eiffel tower after 41 years of holding the record but the very next year after it was completed the Empire state building stole the crown at a massive height of 448 meters but even this record wouldn't last for very long because starting in 1963 the tallest thing ever built by Humanity would actually be a TV mast the tallest of these ever built was the Warsaw radio tower which ascended to a staggering height of 646 meters it collapsed in 1991 but its height was never surpassed until very recently in 2008 to prepare for the scale of the tallest thing ever built by Humans so far I'm going to include Several other very tall and recognizable buildings onto this graph first But by far taller than any of them is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai this Monster Building is 830 meters tall it takes two thousand nine hundred and nine steps to walk up from the ground floor to the top Or you can take an elevator ride that takes two minutes and 40 seconds? If you jump from the top and somehow hits the ground without hitting any part of the building it would take you 20 Seconds to fall the entire distance go ahead and start a timer at 20 seconds to understand how long of a fall that actually is but the burj Khalifa is only how tall we have built not how tall we possibly could build if We wanted to we could build something significantly higher so what's preventing us from doing that right now in theory there really isn't a limits to how tall we could build something at all so long as we kept expanding the base of the Structure to support the added weight on the top since the Earth is spherical there obviously is a limit to how much we could expand the base of the structure by So given our current technology and resources the tallest thing we could possibly build right now is likely the exeed 4000 the tallest structure ever fully envisioned with completed blueprints it would soar to an insane height of four Kilometres into the sky which would make the burj kalifa look puny in comparison And it would be even taller than Mount Fuji is in Japan it would even reach about 45% as high as mount everest or 2748 Toyota Corollas stacked on top of each other the base of the tower would have to be six kilometres across in order to support the enormous weight on the top It would basically be a metal mountain capable of housing over 1 million people inside of it, and it would be so Gargantuan that it would likely disrupt weather patterns around wherever it is built the cost of building such a titanic structure however is perhaps as equal a Ludicrous thought Estimates range anywhere from 479 Billion Dollars on the lower end up to one point four Trillion dollars on the higher end Which is higher than the entire GDP of Russia the XC? 4000 is a true testament to possibility and if we decided to build it today? There's nothing that could stop us from finishing it tomorrow in the future it may become possible to build even more outrageous structures like a space elevator 100,000 kilometers above the Earth's surface But since that currently isn't possible I decided to leave it out of this video until now There doesn't exist a material that we can produce enough of that is both strong and light enough to build a space elevator But if our technology advances enough in the future it is Theoretically possible to build which makes this probably the tallest thing that could ever be built on Earth in humanity's future for some perspective the international space station only orbits around the Earth this far away from the surface while the 100,000 kilometer space elevator would stretch all the way out to here Due to the Earth's rotation the top of this elevator would be moving incredibly fast relative To the surface this means that people on board would experience a modest amount of time dilation similar to what astronauts onboard the International space station Experienced today astronaut Scott Kelly for example spent an entire year Aboard the space station and as a result of time dilation. He returned back to Earth 0.01 seconds younger than his identical twin brother it may not seem like much But Scott kelly in effect time traveled a very small amount due to the speed that he was traveling at |

"title": "What's the Tallest Thing We Can Possibly Build?",
"body": ".jpg)\n12,000 years ago in the hills of Modern-day turkey our ancient ancestors built What is to our knowledge the oldest temple in the world? He returned back to Earth 0.01 seconds younger than his identical twin brother it may not seem like much But Scott kelly in effect time traveled a very small amount due to the speed that he was traveling at",

| title | Why It's Illegal to Resign from the British House of Commons |
| body | .jpg) The UK, of course, is a country made up of four distinct countries—the one everyone forgets about, Pret territory, Buckfast territory, and that one that no matter what you say will stir up drama in the YouTube comments. Now, this wonderful country of countries has a pretty weird political system. For example, the Queen for some reason owns all the dolphins in Britain and is also able to fire the entirety of the Australian government and also doesn’t need a driver’s license or passport since they’re both issued in her name but the weirdest of the weird is in this place—the Palace of Westminster. This building is, of course, known for being blown up in V for Vendetta, crushed in Independence Day: Resurgence, and blown up again in G.I. Joe: Retaliation but interestingly, it’s also believed to be where the Parliament of the United Kingdom meets. Now, the British Parliament has some unique rules. For example, MP’s are not actually allowed to speak directly to one another—only to the speaker of the house. They’re also not allowed to use each other’s names. They therefore only refer to each other in the third person when talking to the speaker saying something like, “Mr Speaker, the Honourable Member for Tewkesbury smells like beef and cheese.” There’s also one law saying it’s illegal to wear a suit of armor into Parliament. That law was made in 1313 and remains super inconvenient since MP’s have to change in and out of their armor before and after going into Parliament. Lastly, MP’s aren’t allowed to clap in Parliament which is part of the reason they do all their hooting and hollering during debate. Now, this parliament, of course, is made up of two bodies—the House of Lords and the House of Commons. The House of Lords is made up of, at least currently, 792 unelected members who are appointed by the Queen mostly off of the advice of the Prime Minister. Despite being the upper house with the flashier looking room the House of Lords is nowadays less powerful than the House of Commons since aristocracy fell out of fashion. The House of Commons is the more democratic house with elected officials and they’re the ones really running the show. The members of the House of Commons usually serve a term of five years between elections but the big oddity of the House of Commons is that the MP’s are not allowed to resign—it is illegal to resign from the British House of Commons. Now it’s worth pointing out, despite being illegal there’s no punishment for resigning because you just can’t do it. This anti-resignation rule was put in place back in 1624. What you have to consider about being an MP in 1624 is that the job wasn’t quite as cushy. In fact, it wasn’t even really a job. It was sort of like a part-time gig where MP’s would just travel down to London for a short periods to vote. Of course it wasn’t like today where you could just pop down to London on the train—it would take days to travel to and from London and for all this work you were paid nothing. There was no salary. Therefore being an MP was viewed as a chore rather than some great honor and so, once an MP was appointed, Parliament wanted to make sure they stuck around. Things have, however, changed since 1624. MP’s are now paid around $100,000 per year and the position is treated as a full-time, somewhat respected job. The other big thing was that, at some point, the idea of involuntary unpaid labor became pretty unpopular. So, instead of doing something reasonable like changing the rules Parliament started using this crazy procedure to free MP’s that wanted to quit. So, how it works is that the departing MP sends in an application to the official known as the Chancellor of the Exchequer for one of two jobs—Crown Steward and Bailiff of the three Chiltern Hundreds of Stoke, Desborough, and Burnham or the Crown Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead. This is all because in the rules of Parliament it is prohibited to hold either of these jobs and the position of MP at the same time. These jobs are both essentially overseers of ancient administrative divisions that no longer exist meaning that there are no obligations anymore but the jobs still exist. The second an MP is appointed to either of these positions they are no longer MP’s and they stay Crown Steward and Bailiff of these areas until they either apply to be removed from the position or until another MP is appointed to the position when they ask to resign. Now, one important thing to point out is that the Chancellor of the Exchequer can choose not to appoint an MP to one of these positions which means that, in theory, someone could be stuck as an MP against their will. They could, of course, just not show up to their job and they’d still get paid which doesn’t sound bad. It just probably wouldn’t be great for their political careers. |

"title": "Why It's Illegal to Resign from the British House of Commons",
"body": ".jpg)\nThe UK, of course, is a country made up of four distinct countries—the one everyone forgets about, Pret territory, Buckfast territory, and that one that no matter what you say will stir up drama in the YouTube comments. It just probably wouldn’t be great for their political careers.",

| title | Market EXPLOSION - SEC Postpones Bitcoin ETF - Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency News |
| body | Hey guys breaking news SEC just announced they want to postpone decision on CBOE and Van Dyke's Bitcoin ETF. This is not a no, this is not a denial. They are simply asking for a more input. that's right, so rather than just deny it completely like the nine others, they did earlier this month now they are asking for more time because they want to hear others actually comment and talk about it and actually propose why they think it should be approved. This is tremendously good for the market guys tremendously good. It means that the SEC is willing to listen and they are on the verge of saying yes. This is what I've been saying all along. I've been saying good things are happening. I think this Bitcoin ETM has a really good shot of being approved now. They have up to 180 days to decide however this decision could come much sooner than that. It could come right after back comes out in November. We don't know but overall this is very positive and this is why the market is reacting. The market is now at two hundred and twelve billion dollars. We have jumped up roughly ten billion dollars and worked heading higher. You can see across the board almost everything is in green. What really stands out is football. Guys I've been talking about Ripple for the last few days. Ripple is now up astounding 41%. Will this continue? I've talked about the flipping this morning they were seven billion away from me 13 this morning now they are only four billion up is the flip go happen tonight or tomorrow we'll have to see overall everything else is in the green even ether a mess up. You got euros up 10% stellar which I love is up 15% Cardinal up 14% and overall the market is heading up in a big way so just want to break that to you guys this is definitely very positive. This is not a no this is not a denial and this is what we've been waiting for all right. hit the upvote and follow me for more. |

This is not a no this is not a denial and this is what we've been waiting for all right. hit the upvote and follow me for more.\n",

| title | The Role of our soul |
| body | Once upon a time, there was a king and he had four wives. The king adores his fourth wife a lot than all other and he always introduces her as his wife to the other kings. The king’s third wife came from a rich family and she can help in all the financial matters of the king , so obviously the king liked her. The king’s second wife is so compassionate and joyous. The second wife is so friendly with the king. The king’s first wife is not like others. She helps to stay strong, helps to lead a great life and help to solve everything in his life but the king never care her that much. Years are going, the king is also running with the time but after some years unfortunately the king fall ill and he tried to a lot to became normal still his effort was of no use, he and his wives knew that he’s going to die in a few days. The king thought a lot for longtime and he called his fourth wife and he talked to her like this, King : You have played a wonderful role in my life and I love you so much than all and I cared you a lot so I wish you could come with me to continue our journey even after my death. Wife: In this life I had to be your wife but if you die, I’m not going to come with you at all. The king’s heart was broken after listening to the words of his wife, still he wished that his second wife may agree to come with him, then he asked his second wife like this, King : You helped me a lot in each and every financial matter and I liked you a lot , I gave you lot of importance, I want you to be my part of my life after my death. Wife : Even though you are placing my value at the height of the everest, I can’t come with you. By listening to the words of his wife he again felt so disappointed and still he have a last hope that his third wife will agree. He asked his third wife like this, King : I’ll be so happy if you agree to come with me after my death too because you can make to smile even in the most difficult and tough situations. Wife: I can’t come with you after your death, I can survive and I’ve my own works to do , you are not the only thing which is most important to me. The king remained motionless and his heart sank in sorrow, because he loved his three wives a lot and he dedicated his entire life to them , still they rejected to come. The king didn’t think to ask his first wife as he had no expectations on his first wife but the life of the king turned at once. The king’s first wife intentionally came and agreed to come with him even after his death and then the king burst out into tears and finally he knew the value of his first wife and realized his mistake. But he know that he can’t do anything now because he’s going to end up his life , he have to end his destiny by dissatisfaction. Here in this story the king is a man, the fourth wife is his beauty or his physical appearance , the third wife is the money which is earned by him through out his life, the second wife is his friendly or family and finally the first wife is his “soul”. In the story the king means the man always love his appearance, money ,friends and family and he never care his soul , but in the end he realized that the soul is one thing which will remain with us even after our death. Moral: Don’t mind beauty because beauty lies in heart, not in the face. Don’t run for money because after your death each and every penny will be valueless to you. Don’t depend on your dear ones all the time because they can help you only up to some extent of time. “ Put your heart and soul into your work then you will lost your mind in your process.” |
