      "body": "![IMG_20180616_184625_815.JPG](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmPZoRKkpZJRD7FX8wxW4hh9iV1oWXfsev3BRHEEZsgkVg/IMG_20180616_184625_815.JPG\nPRINCESS ADAMMA AND THE STRANGER SEASON ONE\nNarrator: The women of Umunze kingdom \ndanced greatly, you should have seen their \ndance steps and how they shake their whippy \nwaist. oh what a glorious day, a day in which\nTheir young and handsome king have finally\nfound someone whom he loves after rejecting so many beautiful maidens and princesses \npresented to him.\nThe entire villagers accompanied the young king \nand his lover to the palace, singing joyful songs, \nthe drummers (top left) were in high spirit, \nbeating their drums skillfully in other to produce \nsweet melodious beats that everyone danced to \nand this includes the elders and members of the \nroyal cabinet of Umunze kingdom, gallant \nsoldiers, maidens, the women and men, little \nchildren who were super excited and the \ndrummers themselves, all dancing happily. \nPrincess Adamma (in white) was so happy that \nshe wouldn’t stop smiling, ikemba seem to be \nhappier than her from the look on his face as he\nwaves at the people who were saluting him. NNE was just enjoying the whole moment, for it’s the kind of thing she likes, CELEBRATION and \nATTENTION. She celebrated this moment with \nher best friend and in turn the handsome young \nmen of Umunze were already eyeing ‘the-sister’ \n(NNE), trust NNE naw, she began to do her own \nSHAKARA (playing hard-to-get) like her big sister \nin the hard-to-get ministry – PRINCESS \nADAMMA.\nIt was about 30 minutes’ walk from the kingdom \nboundary to the palace, but because of the \nwhole activities on the way, it took them about \nan hour and 30 minutes to arrive at the palace.\n![IMG_20180616_184557_292.JPG (https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmbtUVezbEUH6zH2Vvo1maTDsM2uWuzXP16qstYBBoFVQ1/IMG_20180616_184557_292.JPG)\nNarrator: in the evening of the same day, Ada\nand ikemba sat outside the palace of Umunze, \nwith the cool breeze of the evening blowing \nacross them and the full moon shining brightly \nover their heads while Ada’s entertainment god \n– IKEMBA told her a lot of interest stories and \ntaught her so many beautiful songs while he \nsings them to her in a very FRUITY voice.\nThere are so many girls in the world who know \nhow to dream DREAMS (of a perfect life and a \nperfect relationship) but even the best \nDREAMERS and FANTASIZERS among them \nwould never dream of what the princess is \nexperiencing within Ikemba’s company. It was \nperfect BLISS, indescribable by words but felt by \nemotions, A SOLAR PLEXUS of emotions in \nparallel proportions, experiencing true love at its peak-Est PEAK. When two hearts that loves each other greatly UNITE for a common goal, a spark is ignited, the possibilities are endless and there is no opposition that assails their relationship that wouldn’t be CRUSHED completely\nPrincess Adamma would not stop looking at \nikemba with her eyes fixated at his eye balls and \nhis lips. She was METICULOUSLY observing how\nthey move in unison when he speaks and when \nhe smiles - THE GIRL IS IN LOVE.\nAnd at a point when she couldn’t hold it in again,\nshe asked him a question... \nAda: how did u learn to be this romantic? To be \nable to make a woman fall for you and fall \ncompletely? Crashing into YOU without breaks? \nThrowing all of her senses out of the window, \nwhile she pleasurably follows you? What’s your \nsecret? Where is your magic? \nIkemba: u feel all these for me? \nAda: more than that, far more than that U know. \nEveryone around me believes that a perfect man \ndoesn’t exist anywhere in the world. But here I\nam, sitting before one, having the privilege to \nlook eye to eye with someone that many more \nbeautiful and powerful princesses than would \nkill for. You are special you know that? I married my first wife Sadiya when I was 31 and she 21. Then it was love at first sight. I truly loved her and wanted her to be with me for the rest of my life. Sadiya is calm, decent and patient. We have 5 kids. I met my second wife Bilkisu through a friend. This was 14 years after my marriage to Sadiya. Bilkisu is pretty, young and yes .......fresh. \nI married Bilkisu. Sadiya was so calm about it that it actually frightened me. Her patience seemed too good to be true. She accepted my new wife and made her welcome. \n\nThis pleased me afterall I had seen what some of my friends who attempted polygamy went through. It was not always these easy. \nI took it for granted that as a Muslim woman she had to accept her co-wife.\nOne day recently, Sadiq, Sadiya's first cousin came to visit. They had been quite close for they grew up in the same household. Sadiya and her cousin had lots to talk about. They chatted in the living room and it was obvious they had many pleasant memories to share. \nThen I began to feel something..., some form of resentment began to build in me.  I began to envy the way Sadiq could make Sadiya laugh so hard, the way her eyes twinkled as they talk. I hadn't seen her look so happy and oh yes...beautiful in a long while. I began to find excuses to make Sadiya leave the room. \"We've only just started\" Sadiq complained and grumbled as I asked Sadiya to get us some snacks. I almost snarled at him.\nWhen Sadiq finally left after two long hours..... I watched my wife crawl back into her shell. I watched the sparkle fade away and right under my nose, I watched Sadiya become sad. She looked lonely.\nIt was at that moment it hit me hard. The truth I mean. \n Had I failed in my duty as a husband ? I began to ask myself questions.           \n\nWhen was the last time I actually made an effort to make Sadiya laugh? When last did we really sit together to chat and talk about this and that like we did way back when she was the only apple of my eyes?\n\nIs Sadiya happy? I couldn't help but remember that sudden look of loneliness as Sadiq left. This truly bothered me.\n\nThen I asked myself ....if you feel some form of envy because some other guy who is known to you could bring out the woman you once had, what is Sadiya going through?\nHmmm. I thought to Myself. How does she feel whenever she sees me with Bilqis?\nA sense of guilt engulfed me. I had been too involved with my new and fresh wife that I had never given this any thought.\nIt suddenly occurred to me that there were several emotions behind all that patience. \nI needed to know\n I had to know for that sad look kept haunting me. So  I set out on my fact finding mission. Here are my results.\n\nShe had noticed some changes in me around the same time I began to date Bilqis.I became easily irritated, easy to  complain and difficult to please. I often wore a frown face which scared and stopped her from voicing her feelings.\n\n While I started passing not too pleasant remarks about her physical attributes (this really hurt her) Ya Salaam! I had stopped noticing her efforts to look good, to please me with her dressing, her make-up and her perfume..I even completely forgot to say she looked nice when she did\n\nShe had seen me rush to answer sms that came in from Bilqis and look pensively at the phone when I'm expecting her call. It also happened that most times I forgot to reply Sadiya's thoughtful messages and chats. Sometimes I didn't call when I was away from home. (Sadiya always kept in touch).\n\nShe watched me come home and all I spent my time doing was preparing for the new bride. In my excitement I got carried away, spent a lot of money and neglected some of the family's immediate needs.\n\nShe often initiated s*x, because most of the time I would just lie down there and ignore her. (Bad!!!)\n\nShe had to put up with it all cause she never wanted to displease me even for a moment.\n\nShe had worried about the new woman coming. Will they be able to tolerate one another. Will she like her kids? If 'this woman could distract her husband even from the outside, what will happen from the inside.  Will she ...? She had so many things going on in her head with none to share her pain,her fears. She couldn't, naturally for the fear of being  labelled envious.\nThese are just some of the facts. \nHow did I gather all these? I sat Sadiya down, held her hands and begged her in the name of Allah to talk to me. She did, and as she did, she fought with tears. I felt truly ashamed. I felt like I had oppressed her. \nDid I hear you say so what? Isn't Polygamy a prophetic sunnah and every Muslim woman must accept it?  True. My brothers, we need to go about it in  manner that will not tamper with the \nfeelings of the other wife or wives.\nAdvice.\n\nNever neglect your wife/wives.\nAlways show concern and care. You may have many to show you love and affection, she has only YOU.\n\nGive her her dues. By these I mean spend quality time with her and satisfy her needs especially in the bedroom. Hug her, kiss her and play with her. Remember you're her only husband.\n\nTake her out once in a while, alone. Go for drives, walks, visits and shopping. \nGo for another honeymoon if possible away from your town. If not, to some place near you that you can\nafford.\n\nSay good morning and goodnight. Don't wait for her to say it all the time. Check on her daily. Call when you're not around.\n\nBe responsive: that is listen to her and genuinely pay attention. Reply texts and chats. Blow her kisses...\n\nEvery woman wants to know her MAN still belongs to her You can belong to 2, 3 or 4 at the same time if you follow the being 'just sunnah of the Nabiy SAW.\nI mean don't fail to be the loving husband of each. Never let any wife feel like she's living on the grace of another.\n\nGive her all that is meant for her. Feed her and clothe her as expected. If you do any of these only when a new wife comes in, you can naturally expect bad feelings and distrust. Even the wise among the kids will notice.\n\nLet the older wife or wives know you appreciate them. Don't wait for the  arrival of another to say that much expected Thank You.\n\nNever marry and compare. You tell or tease a woman she's old or her breasts are this or that and thereafter take a younger and fresher woman, Ya Salam! You have given her reasons to feel  inferior and reasons to dislike the new comer.\n\nYes you have many to choose from, but you're all she's got. \n\nAbove all, it is imperative to  communicate. Talking helps to clear minute issues and heals wounds.\nSo I talked to Sadiya and felt her pain. She loved me enough to be jealous, she loved me so much she bore it all peacefully.\nsadiya is a good wife and loving mother. What else could I ask for?\nI took my time to earn her love again....and I got it!\nI wooed and courted her and it was both exciting and fulfilling as I watched her blossom and glow.  \nI love both wives. Each for different outstanding qualities. \n\nMay God forgive us brothers and help us to keep the amana.  Women must be cared for and loved.\nThey deserve nothing less as they strive to please us and compete for our love and attention",

Pursuing selfish goals does not make a person happy, although he may think that it will. Instead, it creates a selfish world and makes life difficult for everyone\nThe apostle Paul knew that selfish love would become very common and would be dangerous for Christians. So he warned them to “turn away” from, or to avoid, those who show selfish love. (2 Timothy 3:5) But we cannot avoid all contact with such people. So, what can we do to protect ourselves from the attitudes of people around us and please Jehovah, the God of love? Let us see the difference between the love that God wants us to have and the love described at 2 Timothy 3:2-4. Then we can look at ourselves and see how we can show the kind of love that will make us truly satisfied.\nIn fact, we cannot love other people if we do not love ourselves. The Bible also tells us: “Husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. One Bible commentary compares such a person to a hedgehog that rolls itself up in a ball, staying warm with its soft fur but showing others only its sharp spines.\nSome Bible scholars believe that Paul mentioned love of self first because it produces the bad qualities he mentioned next. In contrast, the kind of love God wants us to have produces good qualities.
