Our consciousness until now is a very difficult accepted reality to truly dissect for it has no physical form, so all we have are metaphors or scientific similes to that are perceived as 3-dimensional, e.g., the conscious you is your brain and that everything about you is in there. This piece, however, is not to argue about that. This piece is more of another attempt on representing some parts of our reality.\n\nOne way or the other, we maneuver our lives. We make our own reality, but in the most physical possible way. Without knowing, we have shined our conscious light randomly as we react on our previous physical manifestations. This reverse reaction in where we see then we feel has been what is normal for us, because of the idea of physical cause and effect or as I like to call it “matter over mind”.\nBut that never has been the case, for reality has always been mind over matter. (From here on, mind will mean consciousness.) This all came to me as I was sitting under the rambutan tree on our backyard. The wind was blowing, and as you could imagine, the tree had so many leaves, branches, and fruits as of the moment. An earthworm crawled passed in front of me under the tree’s shadow that played with light changing forms flawlessly and randomly as it was noon and the sun was up high. I tried to imagine how beautiful must this play of light look like if I were that worm, but I remembered that it had no sense of sight.\n\nMost of us are like the worm, disconnected from the higher realities that exist for we cannot sense it. Great minds have tried to unravel it with mathematics and quantum physics, for it means more there, as in there it is more “scientific”, “recorded”, and “real”. I am not one of those scientists, obviously. As far as from any concern, I would rather be the writer of fables if in that way I could help lead minds to see beyond the 3-dimensional walls of reality.\n\nI’ve wander far off from what I wanted to write, but here is the thought behind this:\n“Shine your light into what and where you want your life to be. Your mind is so bright that it can cast shadows in this rigid physical reality.”\n\n“It all is like a shadow play.”",

But before all that she kept on asking me why do I like the new girl from this new account in the office production. I did not tell her why, for it sounded a bit too indefinite and uncertain as it wasn't about just something. It was a feeling, and feelings are one of the most difficult things to explain when you yourself have no clue what it is.\n\n\"You're still a kid after all,\" she said. I couldn't agree nor disagree, so instead I let out a healthy laugh of uncertainty. She might not have taken that well, for after all, I am the guru, the sensei, the adviser whom she seeks calm and collected advices from in times like this.\n\nI myself understood what she meant, but I can't deny my impulses, as destiny is not the actual plot of ones' obvious life, but a twist in all of it.\n\nThis was a plot twist, although seemingly not a very smart approach, I'm still going to go at this head on. Maybe, wasting my time is the theme of my emotional endeavours. Just reliving a cycle, nothing more. Maybe.\n\nWith all fairness, I do see that those who falls for my charms are quite compatible with most of my quirks, but still I go beyond all this understanding just to try and be with the one whom my gut chose.\n\nIt is tragic, really, to live in a life where every impulse is considered as a fateful move. What am I destined for? Who am I destined for? I look at myself and know that I'm only playing a role. This, maybe, I should fulfil until, maybe, I break and become all rational with all that is life, and let go of fate.\n\nBut for now, yes. A few days from now, I'd be turning 23 years old, and I still haven't figured out what I need in life or who I need in life. Sometimes I cover myself with questions about life and living. Is living about searching for something? And what if you found what you were searching for? Does living stop there or is that where it all begins?\n\n> If  it is the latter, then I haven't began living my life yet. Don't get me wrong. I am very grateful that I am living a comfortable life in where I can question and have philosophical urges to fix the things in my life and in others that need fixing.\n\n\nI have jumped from scene to scene in the story of life trying to find the meaning of it all. Is it love that makes life worth living? Is it having found your true calling? What does this all mean when we do not get to live our lives now? Why does living have to be so distant from existing alone? Or is it that we just made things complicated for ourselves, and that indeed, living is just as simple as existing?\n\nExisting in the now that is here, that is today, and not existing in just concepts that others built for us to internalize as living.
