\n\nহ্যাঁ। এক লাখ টাকার বিনিময়ে সে আমাকে বিক্রি করে আমার স্বামীর কাছে।\n\nস্বামীর কাছে কিভাবে বিক্রি করা হয়? \n\nচারুলতা এই প্রশ্নের কোনো উত্তর দিলো না। পুলিস অফিসার সাজিদের দিকে তাকিয়ে রহস্যময়ী একটা হাসি দিলো।\n\nতাহলে আপনার স্বামী ও তার বন্ধুকেও আপনিই মেরেছিলেন?\n\nহ্যাঁ তাদেরও আমিই মেরেছি। \n\nআপনার বাবার খুনিও তাহলে আপনি। আমি কি ঠিক বললাম।\n\nহ্যাঁ, তাকেও আমিই মেরেছি।\n\nআপনার ভাষ্যমতে পুলিশ অফিসার হোসেনকেও আপনি মেরেছেন?\n\nহ্যাঁ। \n\nমিস চারুলতা, আপনি একইভাবে পাঁচটা খুন করেছেন। কিন্তু কেনো?\n\nচারুলতা এবারেও চুপ করে রইলো। তার ঠোঁটে ঝুলে রয়েছে সেই একই রহস্যময়ী হাসি। পুলিশ অফিসার সাজিদ চারুলতাকে বন্দি করে রাখা ছোট কুঠুরি থেকে বেরিয়ে এলো।\n\n★\n\nনিজের ডেস্কে বসে একগ্লাস পানি এক চুমুকে শেষ করেলেন পুলিশ অফিসার সাজিদ। এমন রহস্যময় মেয়ে আজ অবধি দেখেননি উনি। সাতদিন আগে মেয়েটি নিজে থেকে ধরা দিয়েছে থানায়। তার পরনে ছিলো রক্তলাল এক শাড়ি। হাত মুখে লেগে ছিলো শুকনো রক্ত। পুলিশ অফিসার সাজিদের ঠিক সামনের মুখোমুখি চেয়ারটাতে বসে বলেছিলেন, \"আমি মোট পাঁচটি খুন করেছি আরও একটা করবো। তবে সে কে আমি জানি না। আপনারা আমায় সাহায্য করবেন আমার পরবর্তী খুন করতে।\" সে এমনভাবে বললো যেনো পুলিশরা বাধ্য যেনো তাকে খুন করা ব্যাক্তিটির সন্ধান দিতে।\n\nকে আপনি? আর আপনার এ অবস্থা কেনো?\n\nআমি চারুলতা। কিছুক্ষণ আগেই আমি আমার বাবাকে হত্যা করেছি।\n\nমানে? কেনো?\n\nআমি পাঁচ জনকে খুন করেছি, আরো একজনকে খুন করবো। তার সন্ধান আপনি দেবেন আমাকে।\n\nতরুণ পুলিশ অফিসার সাজিদ প্রথমে ভেবেছিলো তার মাথায় কোনো সমস্যা আছে। কিংবা সে হয়তো কোনো মানসিক ভারসাম্যহীন সিরিয়াল কিলার। তবে তার মেডিক্যাল রিপোর্ট প্রমাণ করছে সে সম্পূর্ণ সুস্থ একজন মানুষ। সেদিনই সাজিদ খান তাকে লকাপে বন্ধ করেন। তারপর থেকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদ শুরু করেন তবে সে নিরুত্তর। সে শুধু ততটুকুই বলে যতটুকু তার বলতে ইচ্ছে হয়। পাঁচজন মানুষকে নৃসংশ ভাবে হত্যা করেছে চারুলতা। তার বিরুদ্ধে কেস দায়ের করেছে সাজিদ কিন্তু এখনও অবধি লাশগুলো ছাড়া আর কোনো প্রমান পাওয়া যায়নি। এমনকি হত্যার কারণও এখনো অবধি জানায়নি কাউকে। প্রায় ৭ দিন যাবত জেলে আছে চারুলতা। পুলিশ অফিসার সাজিদের ভাবনার ঘোর কাটলো সেলফোনের আওয়াজে। স্ক্রিনে ভাসছে পুতুলের মিষ্টি চেহারাটা।\n\nকি করো পাপা?\n\nএইতো মা কাজ করছি। তোমার কি কিছু লাগবে?\n\nআমার একটা রেসিং কার লাগবে।\n\nকিন্তু মা এমন কার তোমার কাছে প্রায় ১০ টার উপরে আছে।\n\nআমার আরো একটা নতুন চাই। শান্ত একটা নতুন কার কিনেছে আজকে। আমারও চাই।\n\nআচ্ছা মা নিয়ে আসবো। তুমি লক্ষী মেয়ের মতো থাকবে হুম? দাদির খেয়াল রেখো।\n\nদাদি এতো বড়, আমি কিভাবে খেয়াল রাখবো? দাদিই তো আমার খেয়াল রাখে।\n\nআচ্ছা মা, আমি এখন রাখি। ভীষণ বিজি আছি। তোমাকে পরে ফোন করবো।\n\nআচ্ছা। রেসিং কার আনতে ভুলো না কিন্তু। \n\nমেয়ের ফোন কেটে দিয়ে একটা দীর্ঘশ্বাস ফেললো সাজিদ। তার মেয়ের মধ্যে মেয়ে সুলভ কোনো আচরণই পরিলক্ষিত নয়। শান্ত নামের তার একটা বন্ধু আছে সে সবসময় তাকেই ফলো করে। এমনকি তার সাজপোশাক পর্যন্ত শান্তর মতো। অতি আদরের মেয়ে তার। তাকে তো মানাও করা যায় না। স্বীকার করতেই হয়, মেয়েকে খুব ভালোবাসে সাজিদ। কিছুক্ষণের মাঝেই হিমেল নামের একজন অফিসার এসে দাঁড়ালো সাজিদের সামনে। সাজিদ তাকে বসার অনুমতি দিলো,\n\nস্যার চারুলতা নামের মেয়েটির কেসের ব্যাপারে কিছু বলার ছিলো। পাঁচটা লাশেরই পোস্টমর্টেম রিপোর্ট হাতে পেয়েছি আজ।\n\nকি এসেছে রিপোর্টে? \n\nস্যার তাদের সবার মৃত্যু কলিজা বের করে নেওয়ার কারণে হয়েছে। আর যত আঘাত করা হয়েছে সব তাদের মৃত্যুর আগে এবং বেশিরভাগই ছুড়ির আঘাত।\n\nএকজন একজন করে বলো।\n\nস্যার প্রথম খুন হয় সম্ভবত মেয়েটির স্বামী জামাল হোসেনের। লোকটার বয়স মেয়েটার চেয়ে দ্বিগুণ ছিলো। তার শরীরে মোট ৩৭ টি ছুড়ির আঘাত। গোপনাঙ্গে ১৮ বার আঘাত করা হয়েছে। তবে আঘাত গুলো এমন ভাবে করা হয়েছে যাতে তার মৃত্যু না হয়। অর্থাৎ খুব কষ্ট দিয়ে মেরেছে তাকে। হাতে পায়ে গরম ধাতু দ্বারা আঘাত করা হয়েছে। অতঃপর জীবন্ত অবস্থায় তার ফুসফুস বের করে আনা হয় এবং এতেই লোকটির মৃত্যু হয়।\n\nবোঝাই যাচ্ছে খুব রাগ থেকে এমন করা হয়েছে। তাছাড়া যে পাঁচজনকে খুন করা হয়েছে তাদের একজনেরও ফুসফুস পাওয়া যায় নি। তোমার কি মনে হয় এ ব্যাপারে? \n\nস্যার আমার মনে হয় প্রতিশোধ নেওয়ার জন্য এসব করা হয়েছে। \n\nদ্বিতীয় জন কে?\n\nদ্বিতীয় জন তার স্বামী জামাল হোসেনের বন্ধু সবুজ আলী। তাদের দুজনকে একসাথেই হত্যা করা হয়েছে। তবে সবুজ আলী সম্ভবত জামাল হোসেনের পরে মারা যায়। দুজনের মৃত্যুতে খুব একটা পার্থক্য নেই। তাকেও জামাল হোসেনের মতোই মারা হয়েছিলো। তার শরীরে ৩২ টা ছুড়ির আঘাত। ১৯ টা গোপনাঙ্গে। তাকেও গরম ধাতু সম্ভবত গরম লোহার রড দিয়ে আঘাত করা হয়েছে এমনকি তারও ফুসফুস বের করে ফেলার কারনেই মৃত্যু হয়েছে।\n\nস্ট্রেঞ্জ। স্বামীর বদ্ধুকে কেনো মারলো আমি আজও সেটা বুঝলাম না।\n\nস্যার সম্ভবত, ওই মেয়েটি যখন তার স্বামীকে হত্যা করেছিলো তখন লোকটি দেখে নেয়। তাই তাকেও মেরে ফেলেছে।\n\nনা। তাহলে তাকে এত আঘাত করা হতো না। সম্ভবত এর পেছনে অন্য কোনো কারণ আছে। তৃতীয় মৃত্যু তার সৎ মায়ের?\n\nজ্বি স্যার। ওই মহিলার শরীরেও ৩১ টি ছুটির আঘাত। তার দুইটা ব্রেষ্টই কেটে ফেলা হয়েছে। গোপনাঙ্গে গরম শীষা ঢেলে দেওয়া হয়েছে। সর্বোপরি তারও ফুসফুস বের করে আনা হয় এবং সে মৃত্যু রবণ করে। এবং তার পরে পুলিশ অফিসার হোসেন। তিনি করিমপুর থানার ওসি ছিলেন। তাকে কেনো হত্যা করা হলো সেটাই বুঝলাম না। ভদ্রলোক খুবই ভালো মানুষ ছিলেন। এলাকার লোকজনও তাকে বেশ পছন্দ করতো। তার শরীরে ৩৬ টি ছুড়ির আঘাত পাওয়া গেছে। গোপনাঙ্গে ২৫ বার। যথারীতি তার মৃত্যুও ফুসফুস বের করার কারনেই হয়। তবে মরার আগে তাকে ইলেক্ট্রিক শকও দেওয়া হয়। আর পঞ্চম মেয়েটির নিজের বাবা। তাকে হত্যা করেই সে আমাদের কাছে এসে আত্মসমর্পণ করে। লোকটার মৃত্যুও ফুসফুস বের করে আনার কারণে হয়েছিলো তবে এখানে উল্লেখ্য লোকটাকে সবচেয়ে বেশি ছুড়ির আঘাত করা হয়েছে। ৫৭ বার। আর তাকে হত্যা করেছে একাধিক মানুষ। অর্থাৎ, ওই মেয়েটি একা ছিলো না।\n\nস্বাভাবিক। এতগুলো খুন একটা মেয়ে একা করতে পারে না।\n\nওহ আরেকটা কথা বলতে ভুলে গেছি স্যার। এদের প্রত্যেকের শরীরেই ড্রাগসের স্যাম্পল পাওয়া গেছে।\n\nতারা কি রেগুলার ড্রাগস নিতো?\n\nনা। শুধু জামাল হোসেন আর সবুজ আলী রেগুলার মাতাল ছিলেন। হয়তো ড্রাগসও নিতো।\n\nআচ্ছা তুমি এখন যাও।\n\nহিমেল চলে যেতেই সাজিদ আবার উঠে দাঁড়ালো। মেয়েটাকে যতক্ষণ অবধি সাহায্যের প্রতিশ্রুতি না দেওয়া হবে ততক্ষণ অবধি সে মুখ খুলবে না। কি হয়েছে তা আন্দাজ করতে পারছে সাজিদ তবে আন্দাজের উপর তো আর কেস ফাইল করা যাবে না। চারুলতার জবানবন্দি ও সব প্রমানই চাই এই কেসটা এগিয়ে নিতে। সাজিদ আবারো ফিরে গেলো চারুলতাকে বন্দি করে রাখা সেই ছোট কুঠুরি তে। সেখানে একটি লাল বাতি নিভু নিভু জলছে। আপাতত সেই কুঠুরিতে তিনটা চেয়ার। একটায় সাজিদ অন্যটায় সীমা। এই দুজনই এই কেসটার তদন্ত করছে আর তাদের মুখোমুখি একটা চেয়ারে মূর্তির মতো বসে আছে চারুলতা। নীরবতা ভাঙলো সাজিদ,\n\nমিস চারুলতা। \n\nবলুন।\n\nআমরা সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছি আপনাকে সাহায্য করবো কিন্তু এর জন্য আমাদের সমস্ত ঘটনা জানা প্রয়োজন। \n\nচারুলতার মুখ উজ্জ্বল হয়ে উঠলো। এই প্রথম সাজিদ ও সীমা দুজনেই ধরতে পারলো মেয়েটার বয়স খুব একটা বেশি না। বড়জোর সতেরো আঠারো হবে। সীমা একবার সাজিদের দিকে তাকালো। ইশারায় জিজ্ঞেস করলো ব্যাপারটা সে ধরতে পেরেছে কি না। সাজিদ হ্যাঁ বোধক ইশারা করলো একইসাথে বেশ অবাকও হলো। এইটুকু একটা মেয়ে কি না এতগুলো খুন করেছে। মনের মাঝে প্রশ্ন রাখলো না সীমা,\n\nতোমার বয়স কত? খুব বেশি তো মনে হচ্ছে না।\n\nউনিশ।\n\nঅদ্ভুত! এই বয়সে এতগুলো খুন করেছো?\n\nচারুলতা কোনো উত্তর দিলো না। চোখমুখ পাথরের মতো শক্ত করে বসে রইলো। এইবার প্রশ্ন করলো সাজিদ,\n\nঘটনা স্থলে কারোরই ফুসফুস পাওয়া যায়নি। তুমি সেগুলো কি করেছো?\n\nখেয়ে ফেলেছি।\n\nকিহ?\n\nচমকে উঠলো সাজিদ আর সীমা দুজনেই। \n\nহ্যাঁ খেয়ে ফেলেছি। প্রথমে ছুড়ি দিয়ে চামরা ছিড়েছি। তারপর বুকের হার ভেঙেছি। যখন তারা যন্ত্রণায় কাতরাচ্ছিল চিৎকার করেছিলো আমি অদ্ভুত এক প্রশান্তি পাচ্ছিলাম। বুক থেকে কলিজাটা বের করে আনলাম কিন্তু আমার তৃপ্তি হলো না তার কলিজায় কামড় বসিয়ে দিলাম। মৃতদেহের সামনেই চিবিয়ে খেলাম কলিজা গুলোকে। \n\nচারুলতার কথা শুনেই বমি চলে আসতে চাইলো সীমা এবং সাজিদের। তাদের এই অবস্থা দেখে ভয়ংকর শব্দে হেসে উঠলো চারুলতা। বড্ড ভয়ংকর সে হাসির শব্দ!\n\n,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,চলবে,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,",
