Then in men's, and women's opinion I have lived a simple life and thrown the greatest parts away.  But then that is just an opinion, and our opinions are based upon what others tell us.  It is their perspective of what they believe is good, fun, and a value packed life.\n\nBut one has but to go to a place or a tribe isolated from the world and ask them about life, and they will tell you something vastly different about life, value, and fun.\n\nSo do material things make a person to be someone of note, or of any value?\n\nNo, in fact if they horde them for themselves things to be used as a tool of power then they are of the lowest order of human being, and of scripture as well! In fact the most note worthy man to ever have lived, owned absolutely nothing, and was a vagabond with no education, and the occupation of a carpenter.\n\nThe real fact about wealth, power, and material possessions is this; they rule your life, and your life is consumed with gaining more, and more, and not helping those in real need. Women keep men going, they are what drives a man to do amazing things. While it is true women are emotional creatures, and often driven by these emotions; women in many generations, countries and times have been sorely abused and misused, and treated horribly.  A few of them, as do a few men deserved what they got too.\n\nBut once again another story.\n\nBut in this one line, it speaks of a woman who is tired already of being second fiddle to anyone especially a man, and wants to change the playing field.  Hey, can you blame her?  They way it seems here is that she is to take care of the man, and nothing for her; but then that is not the whole of the story and to know the whole of the thing one would have to include the whole context of all the scriptures; and int hat we would see that a man and a woman are to be equals; except in just a couple of areas.  And this is by the demand and asking of God, and for no other reason than that!\n\nThis line says this fruit would make one wise; and in the verse before this one was the most intriguing idea, that they would be as gods themselves.\n\nSo what was this woman seeking?  Well what has women been demanding here in the USA for over 6 decades now? Equality in all things, which is exactly what they deserved from the start; but it does not stop there; for women already have the tools to be equals, but they demand even more, and as each step takes place they demand even more. So my obvious question is; When will it stop?\n\nSome men are always going to treat women poorly; just as some women treat men poorly!\n\nBut, the problems are starting to rear their ugly head; such as issues are being pushed, and judged by emotions rather than old fashion common sense of the whole, and logical answers based upon facts rather than emotions which change as much as the wind.  And these questions, answers, and solutions should be considered by God's Dine word over that of any man, or woman.  For God sees, and knows all, and has written the guide book we need to live by...\n\nBut then women think the Bible is a lie, and against women to begin with, now don't they; so we can't even use that as a guide line, so all is lost. Or is it?\n\nWomen seek what?  Equality?   No, not really, they want what they want, what their hearts yearn for and that is emotions expressed openly, tenderly, and totally devoted to their personal needs.\n\nOh, what a grand idea!  I totally agree, but then the majority of men are completely opposite, and actually neglect women and their needs when the Bible plainly tells them to supply the woman's every need, jast as it says the same for the woman to the man.\n\nSo I ask was this evident from the beginning as well?  Why did Adam, who was wonder lust struck with the most beautiful woman that had ever been created, not just simply ask his wife:  Sweetheart I think we need to think about this and ask God why again we should not eat this fruit?   NO, Adam was lust struck weak, and putty in the woman's hands, and just went along with what ever she said; and then men wonder why many women go after the bad guy, the one who treats his woman like property; she wants a man that can stand on his own 2 feet, and actually make a decision; after all women of all ages have had to make most of the decision in life already.  They want to be taken care of and treated like some one special as they are for they are the Mother of life!  A very special title indeed!\n\nLike I said this is not about sin, salvation or any of that; but simply about how things have now moved from one extreme to another.  It is about men losing their drive in life, and it is documented now that the testosterone levels in all men of all races has dropped to their lowest levels since recording them started.  Men are more passive, scared, and timid, it is getting worse; and the women quite the opposite.   So a hormonal dominance coupled with uncontrolled emotional issues, and we have a pot of the proverbial stew that is about to boil over.  \n\nI see this ending in a battle where the world loses, big time.  \n\nBut then who am I?  Just a normal person with an opinion based upon accumulated facts of men and women.",

      "body": "Since I work for Wal-Mart, and like all businesses they get just a bit too big after a while and it is now next to impossible to keep prices low, and always available, because of the over head of operating a business.\nJust a few examples are:  personnel and increasing wages over time; SSI; Health insurance; pensions; etc. etc well these things add up after awhile and they keep going up, and so many retirees to take care of after the longevity of any company so things end up like the dominoes that started just a few years back with the bailing out of some major corporations in the same exact boats.\n\nBut online businesses are fastly moving in to make the ultimate kill on some retailers, and companies like Wal-Mart will end up like Gibsons, Kmart, Ben Franklins, Woolworths, and others, that just could no longer compete, and had to scale way back or sell out.   In away that is how Sam Walton got his start, by buying out others who could no longer compete.\n\nSo there are newer innovative ideas that places like Wal-Mart are thinking about trying, and I had one for a small store like ours in a very secluded market.\n\nSo you don't have to check, and wonder; I am an associate, @ 67. But I just had an idea, and wanted to share, since you will continue to broaden into online sales this idea came to me while talking to my wife; I will just use two depts. as examples.\n\nTake toys, and all the complications of large items such as bikes, or other larger items; scale down toys, and sell only the best selling smaller items on the shelf; then at a well seen place in toys put a very interactive podium console, that offers all toys sold by Wal-Mart, and the shipping is free and within two days only; PLUS, the program could be constructed in such a way to give the current other major online prices such as Amazon, or others if they are more expensive? It will help to reduce the congestion, and storage areas.\n\nNOW, lets talk about furniture, which is so inconsistent in sales and offering it is almost a throw out; Take an area in house wares that is closest to what furniture is; and offer an attractive area like a small seating area (questionable idea), with present home wares used as advertisment ideas; and an order console for furniture as it's center; LIKE I am trying to emphasize, these consoles are not for everything Wal-Mart sells but just for that area, ONLY, so it can be better constructed and kept current a lot more simply, plus easier to browse if it doesn't cover 10 million items and all the stinking bogging down cross references Wal-Mart doesn't seem to think is Making people move to Amazon and others that know how to make a site easy to use.\n\nAnyway, this isn't all but do you get the idea?",

      "body": "Good Morning to all, it is Christmas Day:\nAnd even though I am so thankful for Jesus Christ, I am so thankful for the things such as Family, friends, and so many other things people never think to list, I am tiredfor I have not slept much, and quite sad.\n\nWhy, you might ask; trying to be sensitive to my feelings.\n\nWell, I hope you 1st read a short parable about something that sheds just a bit of light on what I should have done; for this thing that has made me sad, is my own fault, my mistake, and it could have been avoided!\n\nThe Story:\n\nThere was a young man who was out in the garden by himself looking at all the flowers, plants, bugs, and birds. He was so enthralled with the beauty, and intricacy of the life he had found.\n\nWhen all of a sudden a butterfly flew by him and landed upon a flower. He seen it, and followed it, and carefully watched it as the little bird, for it had wings and so it must be a bird.  \n\nIt was so pretty, so colorful, and so delicate, but he did not know just how delicate, for he thought it was a bird.\n\nBut, the young lad was so excited by his find, and so wanted to share this with the family.\n\nThe beauty must be shared, he thought.\n\nSo he carefully got a hold on the little bird's wings, and tucked it ever so carefully into his jacket next to his chest.\n\nThen he ran to the house, and yelled for his family to come see the beautiful little bird he had caught.\n\nHis mother and father came to see, and asked; 'where is the little bird?'\n\nSo the young lad ever so gently opened up the flap of his jacket and reached in a pulled the little animal out:\nBut, the wings were damaged, and the colorful powder had came off onto his jacket, and the small creature looked almost dead.\n\nWith tearful eyes, the boy looked up and asked; 'What did I do wrong, he was so beautiful, and alive?'\n\nThe parents were understanding, and said; somethings are very fragile, and break so easily, and need extra care when trying to handle them, and that there would be more little birds to see in the future.\n\nThat perhaps next time, try different way to catch the little bird.\n\n\nSo with the little story, I am just saying that even though I knew that I should have saved my long string of password numbers, letters, and symbols to a text file (which I did do, for I used it several times), and then I should have saved that to several forms of media, as well as taking the laborious time to write each character in my log book. I had not thought things through, and did not think that a computer crash could ever happen to the machine I had built so strong, and it had been running error free for several years.\n\nOften we are not thinking ahead, or using the advice of others to stay on the right track, and sometimes we are just excited about our new ventures and forget to be thorough by taking time for each step to insure that the wings are not damaged and we lose what we had, that was so beautiful and full of life.\n\nWell, at least I hope you like the little story, it was not long, but it allowed me to further get troubles off my chest for with my mistake I have lost a great deal, something that took years to build, and I lost it by one small simple mistake.\n\nSo have you thought things through?\n\nPlease remember these lessons come into our lives for a reason, and either we grow or we don't and we have no one to blame but ourselves.",

      "body": "Does your leadership inspire you? Do they lead by example, or dictate, and induce fear?\n\nWhen I lead my men in the military, I never asked them, even once, to do something they had not already seen me do myself.  For if I could not run 3 miles in under 12 minutes why in the world should I require them to do so, unless there was a reward for the extra efforts.  And back when I was running in the military the 4 minute mile had not been broken yet.\n\nSo here I am wondering why our world; the working world is turning upside down, and failing miserably?\n\nSome questions, and ideas that have occurred to me:\n\nHave you ever had a Co-worker that is constantly talking to management\nabout all the things they do, every single second of the day, and most of the time it is things that others have done, or things that others have helped do.\n\nThen management when it comes to evaluations, or examples, always brings up the one who was in their ear all the time, and never the ones who actually do the work.\n\nI really could care less except one itsy, bitsy, tiny little fact;  why does management not see more than they listen; they should see who is really a valued asset, rather than the one who seems to know when management is around and then decides to work to show everyone else as lazy?\n\nAnother interesting thing is, or can be compared to our present govt. system; Rather than leave something that is working alone;  no, someone has to change it in order to make it their own, and without fail the thing that was actually working now never works properly again!\n\nRetail is going down the drain due to constant changes, just so some management can make it their idea, and for what?   A pat on the back? Wow!\n\nI like the idea of what production plants and facilities do; 1st and far most if they are a 24 hour a day work facility; they pay incentives to work the shifts no one wants to work, such as; 1st shift hourly pay; 2nd shift hourly pay plus, 2 to 5 % shift bonus; 3rd shift hourly pay plus shift bonus, and perhaps even 8 hrs. pay for 7 hrs, time worked. (the idea is to tie the shift bonus to the shift, and not to the person, that way when they change shifts the bonus goes away)  Then to get people to work harder, and No, it will not work for all people; but without this incentive no one will work hard for long, a guarantee!  But, since it is hard to give a piece work incentive in an industry such as retail; then perhaps the usage of machines to justify retail product productivity from truck to sale, which encompasses a lot of manipulations.   But, in a production plant where one is rewarded, incentives, for more production there is a catch, if one's quality drops then they lose those incentives; and the same can be done in retail when a machine's use in used as the judge of quality, by qualitative checking of a person's use of their equipment to do a better job, for the customer.\nBut, a basic fact of life; if management will not take quality as their 1st requirement neither will anyone below them, not now, not ever, a fact of human nature, and old fashioned laziness!\n\nOh, and the worst idea of all, right from the mouth of many I have seen in management:\nThe laziest person you have will find the quickest way to do any job!\n\nYeah!  Always the wrong way, and it takes 3 times as many people to straighten it back out, afterwards! \n\nI find it amazing at the newer online companies like Compumatrix which notices, and pays people for the amount of quality work that they do, and I have also noticed many of the online companies are already starting to have major failures due to workers that have found short cuts, and ways of cheating the system; which just shows laziness should never be accepted, and actually condemned, and gotten rid of!",

      "body": "I write this because of years of Production work in various factories, and then as a customer buying products that appear affordable but in the end are just Cheap Junk.  And finally years as a retail worker, and associate.\n\nSo where is the true Balance?  And this short summary is the result of my notes, thus far:\n\nWhat is really more important to companies?\n\nThe customer, or the profits?\n\nWhy ask this question?\n\nSimple, big companies are always trying to figure ways to drive people to do more, more, and more, and treat them less and less like people, but like slaves. In the production environment I was paid more for more production, Plus quality or penalized for poor quality, and thus less pay.  But now days companies are trying to create an environment where people are paid at a constant rate and yet required to do more, and more through creative jousting if you will, and make people do things they would not ordinarily do, and thus produce questionable products, and the quality is very seldom checked or over looked in some way do to demand and quotas.\n\nSo think on this for a second and see what you think:\n\nLIFE, and I do mean everything in life is a trade off.\n\nIf you want quality in something then it takes time, planning, and extreme devotion to that out come; Right?\n\nIf you want it now, and I mean quick then it takes a predetermined plan to execute an operation in which something can be produced, accurately, and with complete reproducible results that are proven by time long events of production which requires extreme planning. I mean quality at a quick delivery; A simple examples is of course McDonalds; but thousands of examples are available.\n\nIf you want cheap, or affordable as it is often explained to the consumer then all of the above must (MUST) take some degree of cutting, and even materials, or actions are  reduced to a great degree, in order to deliver the most affordable product or service at  CHEAP Price. \n\nFolks even Labor these days is being sacrificed by turning the people against themselves, and others, and with the idea of never telling anyone they are wrong then you have utter and total chaos in the mix, which makes not only for cheap labor and high turn over, you now have no reliable product or service delivered at any rate of consistency.\n\nYes, even in a simple retail store, where only said products are sold, now the customer receives nothing more than arrogant salesmanship; where the ultimate statement is this:  “Buy it or not; I don't care, but we are the only place you can go so live with it!”   \n\nI have actually endured this statement!  And to me my customers are the most important people in all the world, and if a product is junk then I willingly share that, for the customer comes 1st! Not my profits. And for your information, many of my customers thank me and still buy the inferior product.  Which is what big retailers are now banking on!",

      "body": "God gives His Word power, and Increase; Not men, nor Men’s version of what they say!\n\n1Corinthians 3:1-11  And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.  (2)  I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.  (3)  For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?  (4)  For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?  (5)  Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?\n\nThe Apostle Paul was a man of God that walked with God daily in his walk. Paul could have spoken wisely, on all spiritual things with these men, but they were entangled with the things of this world far more than they cared about the things of God, and Paul knew this by their actions and lives. These men talked a good game, they spoke of how they followed the men of God, and acted as the men of God did; but their hearts were not true to God but to themselves. It is all said in one small line in verse 3; For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?\n\nSounds like most Christians today! So many Christians today say they do great things, and yet their lives do not truly show they serve God but themselves.\n\nThe most important line among this section of scripture is so complete and simple; Where Paul says, and gives all the glory to God, and Him alone, in verse 6:\n\n(6)  I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.\n\nIf you have understood this at all so far you would realize that Paul is saying that he and Apollos has shared the things of God with others, who are weak, and have little understanding; where one spreads the Word of God with them, and the other comes in behind and continues to add to more of God’s Holy Word with them. It is not wise words from their mouth’s, but words from God, and about God, and how we are to change and act I this world, to have fruit and benefit the Kingdom of God to further it, not the things of men.\n\nThe rest of this passage elaborates and enhances what Paul said!\n\n(7)  So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.  (8)  Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.  (9)  For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.  (10)  According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.  (11)  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.\n\nFolks there are many things here, but do notice that the Kingdom of God is all about Jesus the Christ and nothing else. That we are the building, Not a Building as some want to make it but the building itself for we are a congregation of like minded believers in Christ!! Christ as other scriptures bring out is the corner stone of the Kingdom of God! And only God can make anyone understand this or see this, and so it is God that gives the Increase not any man, or woman!\n\nThere is no word of any man that can regenerate, or save a soul from hell, or educate them in the ways of God unless God gives it power to do so!       "body": "The Story of the Two Wolves\n\nI find it funny how quickly people share really cool stories, that affect how we see and perceive things about our nature. And so I am Not going to do as everyone else does and tell you about this parable of the two wolves. But 1st we much have the story in front of us, so we all know what I am talking about,and so here it is:\n\nAn old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.\n\n“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.\n\n“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.\n\nOne is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”\n\nHe continued,\n\n“The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.\n\nThe same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”\n\nThe grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,\n\n“Which wolf will win?”\n\nThe old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed.”\n\nI am sent this so called parable at least once a month on Face Book, and have seen and received it in other media venues as well. So I decided I needed to know it's origin. So I searched, and one site actually told me the numbers of how many times this story is told; and it is shared on just one venue over 10 million times. Wow! That just staggers the mind.\n\nSo why is it shared so much? Because it is a good honest thought about human nature, and how we really are right? Of course, and it offers you a probable answer, if you decide which way you tend to lean.\n\nOf course my question was not answered yet, since there is no Origin to this story; it is given importance by saying it is an old Indian legend, or it is of a wise old man of some origin, but then, there is no real proof of that, and so speculation into other groups also abounds, since even Billy Graham used a version of the same story in his book; “The Holy Spirit: Activating God’s Power in Your Life.” in 1978. So this story has been used in many places and many ways and for various groups, and yet it always tends to mean about the same thing.\n\nAnd so I decided you needed to know it's real origin, and of course it was re-worded to fit the needs of the group it was being told to, but the real story itself comes from God!\n\nSo now, the question![Two wolves.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeec5uwKyNwFxevBibCYP7SquzV4BpAWXRVx4WhLuXRsF/Two%20wolves.jpg) is; How do I know this?\n\nSimple really, I found it in God's Holy Inspired Word, 'The Bible'!\n\nRom 7:23-25  But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.  (24)  O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  (25)  I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.\n\nCan you see it? A battle within us against 'Good', and 'Evil'!\n\nThe Apostle Paul wrote in many places how a battle was going on, and in fact we can find that the Bible itself is all about a battle of Good and Evil, and how we can work hard to win this battle. Actually Jesus Christ is the winning deciding factor, but Jesus being God told us what to do in life to feed the good side over the bad side.\n\nThe reason I do say Jesus is the deciding factor lies within one verse here: for Paul asks a question; O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  So it is not our actions, for Paul saw that this battle was more than he could ever control, so Paul realized he needed help.\n\nBut, you know what I find real amazing? People share these stories, not about God or the Bible, but old parables that were made up to show people do care about how they act, but that they really have no idea how, or if they really want to or not. What? Yeah, exactly for most people want to sound all noble and kind, and good to others, but in reality they just want others to change so they don't have to! Sound rough, or harsh? Well, it is;  for the story gets it's beginning with God, and I just showed you that the story was written at least 2000 years ago, and if one includes the Old Testament it was written long before that!\n\nSo let me ask it this way; Why don't people share the story of God over that of this parable of the two wolves? Simple really people have basically two views of God; 1. God has no right to judge me. 2. I am able to rule my own life, I am basically a good person. Other people are the trouble, not me.\n\nWell?\n\nSo if the above is true, then why share the story of the two wolves at all since it boils down to the same idea?\n\nBecause we see the evil, in this world, in others, and we want it to go away, we don't like it, and yet we have no idea of how to change things for the better, that is why; just like the Apostle Paul said. And we do not want to share the Bible since so many hate it, and we don't want them to hate us as well; we want them to listen and to like us all in the same perception. Of wise men's ideas, and not God's. Plus, if we sound wise, then people will promote us, our idea, and that is the basic underlying of things like Face Book and other online venues. Well, all media, including newspapers and TV.\n\nFolks the real Truth hurts; Why? Because it inflicts inner pain in our mind that stirs up anger since we do not perceive ourselves as evil to begin with, we see others as evil but not us, for we really do not want to be that way, but in reality we really are! For it is all a matter of situation, timing, and the environment in which our very inner self is challenged. Everyone has various degrees of inner evil, some just show it more than others.\n\nNow, about feeding your inner self. Have you ever thought about that? I have, and I have a saying of my own; but then it is God's idea long before I said it. “You are what you eat!” Then you say I have heard that before and it does not apply to this. Oh, but I did not finish it: “You are what you eat, read, see, smell, taste, touch, spend time with, or think about!” In other words you are exactly what you feed yourself over all!!\n\nIf you think it is more important to spend your day of worshiping Almighty God at the lake with others over that of being in God's house, then you are not feeding the right wolf. If you believe that reading the Bible is boring, not exciting, and you'd rather watch a popular movie that has a lot of cussing, then perhaps you might just be feeding the wrong wolf? And folks the list is extremely long.\n\nSo just which do you believe; the real story of two battles going on within us; or the story of a good wolf and a bad wolf, and we just basically choose which one to feed? As for me and my house we see the fact we can not just choose, for evil is far too strong for a mere mortal to battle, for evil is far stronger than we are, and we need help; Jesus Christ!\n\nSo who do you feed?",

      "body": "God given Talents were Meant to be Shared!\n\nSo what does this word ‘shared’ mean? To be used! So to be used how, by who, and for what?\n\nAnd the question most ask 1st is; What do I get out of this?\n\nSo let me ask of you just one little thing, before these questions are answered; Do you have any talents, at all? And the answer is simply, Yes! We all have talents of one kind or another, and though we may think they are nothing, or not at all; God’s Word says otherwise.\n\nSo let’s suppose all you have, is a daily do nothing job like me; I stock shelves at Wal-Mart and nothing else. So, do I have a talent? Yes, I go to work everyday, and earn a pay check just as God’s Word demands that I do. I then give ten per cent to my local church, and I also often bring food, and clean, and help. It seems like nothing but God uses even the most simple things to help others. You have no idea what God can do until you see some of the miracles I have seen.\n\nPro_3:9  Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:\n\nSo can I do more? Yes! Anyone can do more, but remember this; it is God that gives the ‘increase’ (as the scripture says (1 Corinthians 3:6-7), not men, and men should never seek glory for their efforts, for when they do God is not happy, and says in His Word, they have reaped what they sowed, and they have received their reward from this world, and not laid up treasures in heaven. Read; Matthew 6:1-4\n\nSo what is this all about?\n\nGod asks us to help others in need, those that are hurting, the down trodden, the poor, homeless, and the widows and orphans. James 1:27; Psalm 68:5; Psalm 82:3 and many other scriptures. But, how can I give when I myself have so little, is usually the response.\n\nFor this we have an abundance of God’s Word devoted to you! Where does all that you have come from in the 1st place? I have a special scripture I use for an eschatological approach, and it works equally well here: Psalm_50:10  For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. Many love to argue about the word ‘one thousand’ as it is used in the Bible to indicate many things, but it just means simply, ‘A lot, a whole bunch, innumerable’. But, my question then is this: which cattle on which thousand hills belongs to God? Of course they all do! God created this whole universe and it all belongs to Him! Even everything you have or earn is given of God, and now is the time when many get mad, and say I earned it so it is mine. OK…, if you say so… but God’s Word says otherwise.\n\nSo what is the point as you might be pondering? Well, God has a point to make in all of the scriptures, and it simply means if you will trust in God and do as He commands and truly help others out of the goodness of your heart, He will give to you more, and more to offer and give. Remember giving is not just money, it is many talents, and I will add the scriptures to this article which says this.\n\nBut 1st:\n\nA man by the Name of Larry Burkett said this; “Someone responded by arguing that God was not that interested in the subject of our money. So Larry dug into the Bible and came back armed with over 700 verses highlighted about money in the Bible and started to organize them. Crown Financial Ministries now says that there are actually about 2,350 verses on finances and possessions in the Bible. That is more verses – more material – than all 13 letters in the New Testament that Paul wrote! God obviously cares about our view of possessions to instruct us that much about it.\n\nJesus said, “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” (Matthew 6:21). He is saying that what we do with our money and our possessions reveals our real priorities. It’s that simple. So what we study in these pages is not secular or non-spiritual. God is talking to us about a spiritual thermometer – a way to measure what is really going on in our heart with God.”\n\nAnother point is this: If we don’t learn it by life experiences, there is something we should learn from every funeral. We don’t “own” anything because we don’t take it with us.\n\nSolomon, the wisest man ever, said, Ecclesiastes 5:15 “Naked a man comes from his mother’s womb, and as he comes, so he departs. He takes nothing from his labor that he can carry in his hand.” The apostle Paul concurred; in1 Timothy 6:7 “For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it.” Job, at his lowest point worshipfully agreed, saying, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked I will depart. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised.” Job 1:21\n\nGod didn’t stutter about how temporary material things are. We only have them for a little while. And a preacher I know and respect has often said, he has never seen a hearse pulling a U-Haul.\n\nThe whole point leads us to this scripture, for we all have talents, abilities that allow us to walk among others in this world. Another good point is there are many who either can not walk, or work, or communicate, see, or otherwise easily walk among others as you and I do; so you are very blessed, and should share of what God has given to you with others in need. And I do mean share of yourself, and not just give money to some charity so that your conscience is clean, for that is not at all what God meant for you to do; he meant for you to do these things yourself.\n\nLuke 16:10-13  He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.  (11)  If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?  (12)  And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?  (13)  No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.\n\nThese days everyone likes to boast that they are multi-taskers! The sad part of that is this; do they do both equally as well, are you absolutely doing both to the very best? The answer is simple, NO! Unless maybe it is sleeping, and breathing, which is an automatic function to begin with. And so this scripture talks about men/women and just who is trusted with more. For are you not to serve God with all your heart, soul, and mind? Mark 12:30  “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.”\n\nSo it is impossible to serve two masters and yet the majority of people say that they can, and I ask how according to scripture? Read the last line in the scripture of Luke 16:13, it answers itself.\n\nThe scripture of the Talents: Matthew 25:14-27  For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.  (15)  And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.  (16)  Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.  (17)  And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.  (18)  But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.  (19)  After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.  (20)  And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. Now, the real end game is this; God knows and sees your heart so doing good must really be a part of your soul, or God will just ignore your gift.\n\nOne last special scripture for me: 2Corinthians 9:6-8  But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.  (7)  Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.  (8)  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:\n\nAll things can be done through God! sc",
