We met in college and then when transferring to a 4-year university we went to different schools. We kept our relationship going for 2 years. I went and visited him whenever I had a break and he did the same. We'll see each other back in our home state for long breaks.\n\nHe is a great guy, he just graduated with a degree in engineering, he is loving, kind, he loves me, smart, and very focused on our future. But he has a thing a don't like very much I'll explain.\n\nEvery time there is a party (family reunion) he drinks a lot, like he doesn't get disgusting drunk or anything, he wants to dance, talk with everybody, sing that kind of thing. Then he starts smoking like crazy which he never does. This behavior of his bothers me so much, I don't even want to look at him, I don't want to dance with him when he invites me to.\n\nNow that he graduated, he organized a family reunion with my parents, he even cooked and again he drank with my dad and he finished off the entire bottle. Everybody left and he continued to listen to music by himself.\n\nIs anything wrong with me? Am I overreacting?       "body": "I listen to music every 60 minutes of the day. Even when I am asleep, I play songs on the background all throughout the night. i.e. I sleep and wake up with music. My family and friends sometimes complain because I am really addicted to listening to music. Troubles like slamming from my parents, friends and lecturers. Most times I use my earpiece while walking along the road. I remember I almost got hit by a motorcycle because the music was very loud in my ears that I could not hear the horn from the  motorcycle. I know that's dangerous. So what I do nowadays is that I plug my earpiece only my left ear while taking a walk.\n\nIt is had for me to choose my favorite song or singer because there are so many great singers in the world with undiluted talent. But for the purpose of this writing, I will list my top 5 favorite singers:\n\n1. Enya\n2. Chris De Burgh\n3. Coldplay\n4. ABBA\n5. Passenger\n\nThe list above does not contain any hip hop artiste because I don't really enjoy listening to hip hop. I prefer New Age, Blues, Rock and Electronic/dance genre. But I like few songs by Eminem.\n\nI have been criticized a thousand times but I cannot stop this because I love this addiction.  It is a source of inspiration when I am thinking and my only solace when depressed. The hope music gives to me is so strong that it makes me focused.\n\nFinally, if you know any song you think I should listen to please drop it in the comment. I also need your opinion. Do you think this addiction is too much? Please advise.",
