      "body": "Tal como mencionábamos en la entrega anterior, existen distintos tipos de personalidades y para cada una de ellas existen distintas motivaciones que les permiten sentirse apoyados, tomados en cuenta y hasta retroalimentados, no solo en una organización, sino a nivel personal. Estas motivaciones también han sido clasificadas como intrínsecas y extrínsecas, que también van en función de la satisfacción interna o por algún tipo de recompensa que beneficie transitoriamente a la persona, respectivamente.\nEs importante no confundir motivación intrínseca con algo netamente individual, ya que por ejemplo, de acuerdo a los tipos de personalidades el sentimental extrovertido se puede sentir retribuido con la ayuda a los demás, pues es su elemento, en lo que es bueno y además, consigue un bienestar en un tercero. Este tipo de motivación viene asociado a todas aquellas acciones que reconocen las fortalezas del individuo, aunque no necesariamente eleven su posición en la organización o incrementen su remuneración, son aquellos reconocimientos que se hacen de forma colectiva o individual al talento presente.\nAlgunos ejemplos que se pueden citar para ilustrar mejor el punto son: los estudios cortos o de periodo más prolongado, con o sin titulación que mejoran el rendimiento del personal; asimismo, ayudar a los compañeros a completar una meta colectiva.\nPor su parte, la motivación extrínseca en la que el trabajador o colaborador no siente que vaya a tener ganancia alguna al ejecutar cierta actividad y debe ser recompensado por algún elemento externo que le brinde algún tipo de satisfacción. Es importante entender que normalmente, este tipo de motivación es bastante efímero, ya que la persona no se siente completamente convencido de realizar las actividades, sino que existe un interés de por medio.\nNormalmente, las recompensas que van asociadas a este tipo de motivación corresponden a aumentos de salarios, bonificaciones o reconocimientos públicos y hasta ascensos condicionados o acelerados. Es importante recordar que esto sería un premio al esfuerzo que pone el trabajador, que puede incluso considerarlo como “sacrificio”, al no ser una actividad que le apasione. De allí el famoso refrán que dice: “trabajar es tan malo, que te pagan por ello”: no se trata de que el trabajo en sí sea malo, se trata de la pasión o de cuán potenciado se sienta el talento con las actividades que desempeña, esto es importante entender, porque incluso en aquellos casos que la persona tiene varios talentos, puede rotar entre ellos siempre y cuando lo haga con la misma pasión.\nRevisando parte de la bibliografía disponible para este tema, también se encuentra que existen 4 tipos macro de motivación: al logro, por afiliación, de poder o por competencia. Al conjugar esta clasificación con la anterior, podría decirse que las dos primeras corresponden más al lado intrínseco mientras que las últimas forman parte de la extrínseca; característica que puede funcionar para aquellos intuitivos extrovertidos que continuamente se embarcan en la aventura de nuevos retos que le permitan conocerse y potenciarse y donde la motivación no importa que sea transitoria, pues su permanencia también lo será. \nEs importante que indistintamente del tipo de motivación que le acompañe, el colaborador debe sentirse a gusto con el trabajo que desempeña y todo empleador debe reconocer el potencial de su gente, para hacerlo evolucionar ordenadamente hasta maximizar todas sus habilidades y lograr una relación simbiótica y positiva. De allí que nunca se debe despreciar el recurso humano, mucho más al personal que componga el proceso de recursos humanos, pues esto puede determinar el éxito o fracaso de una organización en cuanto a motivación organizacional.\nEn la próxima entrega se puede describir un poco cuáles estrategias pueden aplicarse para seleccionar personal clave que pueda coexistir y realzar el valor de conocimiento en la organización; esto basado en experiencias propias y de clientes que a lo largo del tiempo he podido acompañar.
