      "body": "CHENNAI: R Madhan, who pursued MBBS in Government Madurai Medical College has secured 925 out of 1,200 marks in NEET-PG for post graduate studies in medicine- the highest score among candidates who appeared for the exam from Tamil Nadu, according to National Board of Examinations (NBE). The overall highest score is 975.\n\nAccording to an official source, Chiraag Mandal, who pursued MBBS in Christian Medical College, Vellore, scored second highest mark (871) and P Christy, who pursued MBBS in Madras Medical College secured the third highest mark (868). Among the 10 top scorers, eight candidates pursued their MBBS in government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu, the source added.\n\n“R Madhan, from Government Madurai Medical College secured 925 marks which is the highest mark among candidates who appeared for NEET-PG from Tamil Nadu,” a source in NBE told Express.Madhan, who studied in State quota seat completed his MBBS in 2017 at Government Madurai Medical College. “I browsed social media sites for highest score in Tamil Nadu, but I couldn’t find it. Am happy to know now that I secured top score in NEET-PG among candidates appeared from Tamil Nadu,” he said.\n\nMeanwhile, he had already secured MD seat in General Medicine at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi. “But, I  would like to pursue my PG in Radiology. So, planning to attend single window counselling  conducted by the State selection committee here. As I prepared well for NEET PG, the paper was okay for me. I prepared myself for one year for this exam,” Madhan added.\n\nChiraag Mandal, a doctor who secured second highest marks, is doing his service in Christian Medical College. “I will be finishing my two year service in April. I would like to pursue Radiology. I am waiting for All India quota seats counselling. I didn’t expect that I will be securing the second highest mark in Tamil Nadu,” Chiraag added.\n\nP Christy, a native of Kerala secured MBBS seat in All India quota in Madras Medical College.\nThough the scores are out, delay in releasing the mark list from NBE has irked doctors. “Everything is on line. This change in plans came just weeks after Jio cut the prices of its 1GB per day plans, and launched plans with 1.5GB data per day. But it doesn't seem Jio is done just yet, as the company has also updated its booster packs, giving more data to users who have run out of the 4G allocation with their ongoing plans.\n\nTill recently, Jio users could choose from five booster packs, priced between Rs. 11 and Rs. 301. Now, however, the number of booster plans has been reduced to four, and the most expensive one costs Rs. 101. For those unaware, a booster pack can be used if the daily 1GB/ 1.5GB/ 2GB/ 3GB/ 5GB 4G data limit is exhausted, and the speed has been cut down to 64kbps for the remainder of the day. In such a case, users can purchase a booster pack and continue browsing at high speeds.\n\nWith the update, the Jio booster plan at Rs. 11 gives 400MB data, up from 100MB. Then there's the Rs. 21 pack that gives 1GB of 4G data; there was no booster pack at this price previously. At Rs. 51, subscribers will get 3GB of high-speed data, instead of 1GB. And for buyers of the Rs. 101 pack, Jio is giving 6GB of 4G data, up from 2GB at Rs. 91 previously.\n\n\n\nThe data allocation with the Jio booster packs will be available to the customer as long as the validity of the current plan runs, or the allocated data is exhausted. Once the data bundled with the booster pack is exhausted, customers will get browsing speeds of64kbps.
