So this could be a win-win for the shipping industry and the planet — as well as potentially for investors in the ICO.</h3>\n<h3>What is particularly interesting about this ICO is that they are offering a token with a payout, which as followers of my Crypto Dividends Portfolio will know, I am a big fan of.</h3>\n<h3>So below I will take a look at what Blockshipping is all about, how their system will work and details of the ICO.</h3>\n<p><em><strong>&nbsp;Shipping is a massive business sector that transfers much of the world’s trade. Within it, the </strong></em><a href=\"https://www.blockshipping.io/\"><em><strong>container shipping</strong></em></a><em><strong> accounts for roughly 60% of all the sea-based trading done. With such a big number, one is led to believe that high efficiencies are the only way for this to grow that big.Yet, that is not the scene. Within the container shipping sector, these efficiencies are due to many factors, the major being multiple container registry systems that are not connected, overcapacity and a low number of containers (leading to overbooking) and environmental regulations.The modern shipping industry has utilized a lot of technology and management systems to update it, but in essence, it operates the same way it did decades earlier. The industry has seen only upgradations in its working, processes that support the old model to work fast. The need of the hour is a revolution, that will change how the container industry works.&nbsp;</strong></em></p>\n<h1>&nbsp;<strong>Benefits of Blockshipping to the Shipping Industry</strong></h1>\n<p><em><strong>Blockshipping’s GSCP is an original and premier concept in container and cargo shipping. The platform is packed with a lot of potentials and uses some of which include;</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n  <li><em><strong>The GSCP will serve as the world’s first ever global inventory of containers providing real-time and location information on every single container anywhere in the world, at any time.</strong></em></li>\n  <li><em><strong>The GSCP will enable the global shipping industry save about $5 billion USD on shipping costs yearly<br>\nthrough more efficient management of intermodal freight containers.</strong></em></li>\n  <li><em><strong>Global CO2 emission will be reduced by as much as 4.6 million tons with the intervention of GSCP, adopted and utilized.</strong></em></li>\n</ul>\n<h1><strong>Introduction to Blockshipping tokens</strong></h1>\n<p>An analysis of the performance of utility tokens in the market made it obvious that an increase in the market value of a token invalidates it for the purpose for which it was originally created for – use on the platform. This research necessitated the need for Blockshipping to create two different tokens;</p>\n<ul>\n  <li>The internal utility Container Platform Token (CPT)</li>\n  <li>The external dividend Container Crypto Coin (CCC)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>CPT will see to the clearing and settlement of transactions between the users of the platform. These transactions include but are not limited to capital purchase, terminal and depot handling costs, container exchange fees etc. CCC will be the tradable external token on public cryptocurrency exchanges.The internal token CPT will help boost the market value of CCC using a distribution structure where a percentage of the revenue generated from CPT-enabled transactions is transferred to a Revenue Share Pool.
