Thanking God for another beautiful morning.\n\nI've been working with kids for a while now, naturally i love children. I work as an early childhood development facilitator in my community. It hasn't been an easy journey for me because most of the children don't speak or understand the English language, reason being that they are mostly mbororos. In most mbororos household, their parents don't teach them the English language with the notion that they will learn from school.\n\nWhat i do in order for them to learn is that, i have to learn some basic mbororo language before i can help them  the meaning in to English.\n\nI constantly teach by action and speaking a particular word in English and later they will start repeating what am saying. \n\nIt's really enjoyable learning different cultures especially working with kids.",

      "body": "Greetings to all steemians! hope we all had a great day and are doing just fine as always by His grace.\nI attended a seminar today with Plan international which was very educative, and i will like to share with you some of the things we discussed.\n Topics discussed were based on the following:\n- Safeguarding and PSEA\n- Stages of Child development\n- Prevention of covid-19\n- Child Protection\n- Gender Base Violence (GBV)\n\n\n\nI will like to share with you  about Gender Base Violence (GBV).\nBefore we define GBV, we will try to differentiate between SEX and GENDER.\n \nIn simple terms, Gender is how the society sees you while Sex is biological ie how you were born either a male or a female \n\nWhat is GBV?\nIt is defined as any harmful act that is likely to results in physical, sexual or psychological harm on a woman or man base on their gender.\n\nCauses of GBV\nSome of the roots causes of GBV include the following:\n- Gender Inequality\n- Power Imbalance\n- patriarchy ( man being a man)\n- Abuse of human rights\n- poverty\n-Drug Abuse\n- Religious\n- Cultural\n\n                 Forms of GBV\nWe are going to see some common forms of GBV\n1-Rape. This is the most common form of GBV in our world today.  Many people be it a man, woman, girl or boy child are suffering today because they were raped. \n#. Rape can be defined as forcefully penetration of the vagina, anus,mouth ears, with a penis or other body parts without the consent of the individual.\n\n2- Sexual Assault\n3- physical violence\n4-Harmful traditional practices\n5-Psychological and emotional violence\n6-Denial of resources\n\n                 Consequences of GBV\nWe will also look at the consequences of GBV:\n1- Dead\n2-Seperation\n3- Divorce\n5-Disability\n6-poverty\n7- Depression\n8- Trauma\n\n           Conclusion:\nIn order to conclude, we should try to report any GBV Case to the right authorities.
