      "body": "After working in the garden early one day, I sat down and enjoyed a cold refreshing beer. That day was really quite beautiful, and the drink facilitated some deep thinking.\n\nThen, my wife walked by and asked me what I was doing, and I said \"nothing\". The reason I said \"nothing\" instead of saying \"just thinking\" is because she then would have asked \"What are you thinking about?\"\nAt that point I would have had to explain that men are deep thinkers about various topics, which would lead to other questions. She gave me \"the look\" and left.\n\nFinally I pondered an age old question - Is giving birth more painful than getting kicked in the nuts?\nWomen have always maintained that giving birth is way more painful than a guy getting kicked in the nuts, but how could they possibly \"know?\"  Well, after another beer, and some more heavy deductive thinking, I believe I came up with the correct answer to that question.\n\nGetting kicked in the nuts *is more* painful than having a baby, and even though I obviously couldn't really know, here is the reason for my conclusion.\n\nA year or so after giving birth, a woman will often say, \"It might be nice to have another child.\"\nOn the other hand, you never hear a guy say, \"You know, I think I would like another kick in the nuts.\"\n\nFor me, that was enough deductive thinking for one day, and having the feeling of solving one of the worlds most serious questions, I called it a day... but not before a few more cold ones and a battle nap.\n\nSome day, I might tackle an even tougher one like which one came first - the \"Kentucky Fried CHICKEN\" or the \"McDonalds EGG McMuffin.\" \n\n![in the hammock.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeHUQ4UqJhXR8QpwKAbPx91QELGKQ8VWffFcWYLDAbiyU/in%20the%20hammock.jpg)\n\n*Want to say a quick thank you?       "body": "When the NEW Super Metro (supermarket) in Calbayog City, Samar opened, we would make a trip there about twice a week for groceries. Just about every other trip to this store, I hear an announcement of a lost child over the PA system. \"Please come claim your child\" is what you will here... like they are a package or something. It seems the average citizent here enters the store, becomes totally dumbfounded at such a miracle of modern architecture (and air-conditioning), they will stagger around the store and completely forget that they have childrenin tow! Maybe next time I hear the announcement, I will go claim one... since we don't have any at home.
