      "title": "차익거래 아직도 가능해?",
      "body": "2017년 뜨거웠던 암호화폐 시장에서 빼 놓을 수 없는 현상이 하나 있다. 바로 ‘김치프리미엄’이다. ‘김치프리미엄’은 한국 거래소에서 주요 암호화폐 시세가 많게는 60%까지 비쌌던 현상을 말한다. 거래되는 자산은 같은데 파는 곳에 따라서 가격이 다르다면 차익거래가 발생할 수밖에 없다. 당시 차익거래를 위해 현금을 보따리로 싸서 한국에 입국하다가 공항에서 적발되는 웃지 못할 사례도 있었다.\n\n얼마 전엔 ‘김치프리미엄’으로 차익거래를 하다가 외환거래법 위반 혐의로 검찰의 고발을 당한 사건에 대한 판결이 있었다. 피고인은 미국에 거주하는 지인 5명에게 총 462회에 걸쳐 약 130만 달러를 송금한 후 미국 거래소에서 암호화폐를 사고 한국 거래소로 전송해 파는 행위를 반복했다. 검찰은 이를 외환거래법 위반으로 봤지만 법원의 판결은 달랐다.\n\n피고인이 분할거래 방식으로 거래한 것은 신고나 연간송금액 한도에서 차감되는 것을 피하고자 3,000달러 이하 금액으로 나누어 송금한 것에 불과하다는 판단이다. 따라서 '과태료' 대상일 수는 있지만, 사고 판 총액이 14억 원가량이 나온 것에 대한 고의성은 없다는 것이다.\n\n이제 ‘김치프리미엄’은 하나의 추억이 됐다. 2018년 암호화폐 시장 대폭락 후 ‘김치프리미엄’도 사라졌기 때문이다. 물론 한국 거래소의 주요 암호화폐 시세가 글로벌 거래소와 차이가 나는 경우는 종종 발생한다. 하지만 차이가 크지 않고 설사 발생한다고 하더라도 수 많은 트레이딩 봇(Bot)이 순식간에 매매하기 때문에 차익거래 기회는 거의 없다.\n\n![sim1.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmV7Gt3DfVujDq8foFzj1Cpau5g8mWzGkvkST6qRyGKajn/sim1.png)\n\n**테더 가격이 변동하는 이유**\n그러나 스테이블 코인을 활용한 차익거래 기능은 여전히 존재한다. 스테이블 코인은 특정 자산과 가격이 고정된 암호화폐이다. 가령 미국 USD와 가격이 고정된 스테이블 코인이 있다.\n\n그런데 가격이 고정돼 있다는 것은 스테이블 코인 프로젝트에서 강제로 고정시킨 것이 아니라 투자자들의 신뢰가 만든 결과물이다. 투자자들이 해당 스테이블 코인이 실제 1달러의 가치가 있다고 생각하기 때문에 USD와 가격이 고정돼 있는 것이다. 실제 코인 가격은 수요와 공급의 원리에 의해서 결정된다.\n\n따라서 USD 연동 스테이블 코인인 테더(Tether)는 평소 1달러에서 거래가 되지만, 수요와 공급에 의해 0.98 ~ 1.02달러까지 약간의 변동성을 보인다. 테더 가격의 변동성은 암호화폐 시장의 안전자산 선호 현상과 연관 지어 볼 수 있다. 가령 암호화폐 시장이 폭락하면 안전자산 선호 현상으로 현금 보유 심리가 커진다.\n\n암호화폐 시장의 현금 기능을 하는 것은 스테이블 코인이다. 따라서 테더를 비롯한 주요 스테이블 코인에 매수세가 유입되면서 일시적으로 가격이 1달러 위에서 거래된다. 반대의 상황도 생각해 볼 수 있다. 암호화폐가 급등하면 투자자들은 현금을 투입해 추격매수에 나선다. 이 경우 스테이블 코인을 팔고 가격 변동성이 있는 암호화폐를 매수하기 때문에 테더를 비롯한 스테이블 코인의 가격이 1달러 밑에서 거래되는 것이다.\n\n실제 비트코인과 테더 가격의 상관계수를 구해보면 -0.53으로 계산된다. 비트코인이 오르면 전반적으로 테더는 떨어지고, 비트코인이 내리면 테더는 오른다는 의미이다. 통계학에선 상관계수가 -0.4보다 작을 경우 역의 상관성, 0.4보다 클 경우 상관성이 있다고 판단한다.\n\n**0.99달러에 매수, 1.02달러에 매도, 수익률은 얼마나?**\n그렇다면 테더 가격이 일시적으로 하락하거나 상승하는 현상을 이용해 차익거래를 하면 수익을 낼 수 있을까? 코인마켓캡에서 제공하는 테더 시세로 테스트해 봤다. 테더 가격이 0.99달러 이하일 때 매수하고, 1.02달러 이상일 때 판다는 가정이다.\n\n매매수수료는 Maker와 Taker 수수료를 각각 0.1%로 동일하게 책정했다. 또한 현실적으로 현재가로 사거나 팔 수 없기 때문에 매수할 땐 현재가보다 0.2% 비싸게, 매도할 땐 0.2% 싸게 매도한다고 가정했다. 기간은 2018년 3월 1일부터 2020년 1월 24일까지이다.\n\n약 2년의 기간 동안 총 36번의 트레이딩 기회가 발생했다. 매매할 때마다 2.41%의 수익률이 발생하기 때문에 복리로 계산한 누적 수익률은 136%이다. 원화환산 수익률은 이보다 높은 155%이다. 테스트 기간 동안 원/달러 환율이 전반적으로 상승한 까닭이다.\n\n수익률도 수익률이지만, 이 방법의 장점은 위험이 매우 낮다는 것에 있다. 사실상 테더가 스테이블 코인으로 신뢰도를 잃지 않으면 1테더의 가치는 언젠가 1달러의 가치로 회기하기 때문이다.\n\n**테더 차익거래의 리스크는 없을까?**\n물론 테더 차익거래도 리스크가 없는 것은 아니다. 먼저 테더를 신뢰할 수 있는가? 하는 문제점이다. 테더는 담보자산으로 테더 발행총액의 74%만 현금 및 현금 등 가물로 보유하고 있다고 밝힌 바 있다. 달리 말하면 1테더의 가치는 사실상 0.74달러와 다름없다는 얘기이다.\n\n환율 위험도 존재한다. 앞서 테스트 기간엔 달러가 원화 대비 전반적으로 강세를 보이는 구간이었다. 그러나 원화가 강세를 보이는 구간이라면 기대수익률이 낮아질 수 있다.\n\n**테더를 효율적으로 구매하는법?**\n현재 테더 거래를 원활히 할 수 있는 거래소를 찾기도 어렵다. 원화로 테더 거래가 가능한 거래소는 OKEX 코리아, 비트소닉, GDAC 정도이다. 문제는 거래량이 적고 매수 및 매도 호가의 스프레드가 크다. 1~3%대 수익을 노리고 하기엔 장애물이 많은 셈이다. 이를 타파하기 위해 btc로 테더를 구매하는 경우가 있는데 이는 btc의 시세차익에 따라 손실이 발생할수 있는 리스크가 있다.\n\n**리스크를 최소화 하면서 테더를 구매할수는 없을까?**\n앞에서 말했다시피 테더를 효율적으로 구매하려면 BTC를 이용하여 테더를 구매하여야 하는데 Binance,Huobi 등 거래소를 떠올릴 것이다. 하지만 이는 거래 중개인을 거치는 행위이기 때문에 단순 테더차익거래로 수익성을 보기 힘들다. 그래서 BTC를 이용하여 거래중개인 없이 저렴하게 테더를 구매하여야 하는데  신뢰성은 물론 rotation이 빠르게 돌아갈 수 있는 구매처를 찾아야 한다. 이에 대해 필자는 코인마켓캡 광고에서 해답을 얻었다.\n\n![sim22.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmdfa7Gyho1J3vXkdFmC19d3K7UTsMAKBZWHSjxuqKJQkP/sim22.png)\n\n그 방법은 최근 'USDT Card'를 발매한  BTCtoUSDT 플랫폼을 이용한 테더구매이다.\nBTCtoUSDT는 스위스에 본사를 둔 cryptocurrency의 직불카드 서비스를 하는 회사이다. 이들은 직불카드 서비스 이전부터 테더를 티켓 예매와 같이 일상생활에서 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 방법을 연구해왔으며 자체 플랫폼에서 BTC를 테더로 교환해준다.\n\n해당 플랫폼을 확인해보면 앞에서 말한 거래소들보다 시세가 저렴한 것을 확인할 수 있다. 2020년 2월 10일 기준으로 1BTC에 10,116.05테더를 구매할 수 있으며 같은 날 Binance 시세는 1BTC에 9855.55 테더 2.6%의 시세차익이 나는걸 확인할 수 있다. 이로써 우리는 테더를 통한 시세차익을 실현할 수 있게 되었다.",

      "body": "2017년 뜨거웠던 암호화폐 시장에서 빼 놓을 수 없는 현상이 하나 있다. 바로 ‘김치프리미엄’이다. ‘김치프리미엄’은 한국 거래소에서 주요 암호화폐 시세가 많게는 60%까지 비쌌던 현상을 말한다. 거래되는 자산은 같은데 파는 곳에 따라서 가격이 다르다면 차익거래가 발생할 수밖에 없다. 당시 차익거래를 위해 현금을 보따리로 싸서 한국에 입국하다가 공항에서 적발되는 웃지 못할 사례도 있었다.\n\n얼마 전엔 ‘김치프리미엄’으로 차익거래를 하다가 외환거래법 위반 혐의로 검찰의 고발을 당한 사건에 대한 판결이 있었다. 피고인은 미국에 거주하는 지인 5명에게 총 462회에 걸쳐 약 130만 달러를 송금한 후 미국 거래소에서 암호화폐를 사고 한국 거래소로 전송해 파는 행위를 반복했다. 검찰은 이를 외환거래법 위반으로 봤지만 법원의 판결은 달랐다.\n\n피고인이 분할거래 방식으로 거래한 것은 신고나 연간송금액 한도에서 차감되는 것을 피하고자 3,000달러 이하 금액으로 나누어 송금한 것에 불과하다는 판단이다. 따라서 '과태료' 대상일 수는 있지만, 사고 판 총액이 14억 원가량이 나온 것에 대한 고의성은 없다는 것이다.\n\n이제 ‘김치프리미엄’은 하나의 추억이 됐다. 2018년 암호화폐 시장 대폭락 후 ‘김치프리미엄’도 사라졌기 때문이다. 물론 한국 거래소의 주요 암호화폐 시세가 글로벌 거래소와 차이가 나는 경우는 종종 발생한다. 하지만 차이가 크지 않고 설사 발생한다고 하더라도 수 많은 트레이딩 봇(Bot)이 순식간에 매매하기 때문에 차익거래 기회는 거의 없다.\n\n![sim1.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmV7Gt3DfVujDq8foFzj1Cpau5g8mWzGkvkST6qRyGKajn/sim1.png)\n\n**테더 가격이 변동하는 이유**\n그러나 스테이블 코인을 활용한 차익거래 기능은 여전히 존재한다. 스테이블 코인은 특정 자산과 가격이 고정된 암호화폐이다. 가령 미국 USD와 가격이 고정된 스테이블 코인이 있다.\n\n그런데 가격이 고정돼 있다는 것은 스테이블 코인 프로젝트에서 강제로 고정시킨 것이 아니라 투자자들의 신뢰가 만든 결과물이다. 투자자들이 해당 스테이블 코인이 실제 1달러의 가치가 있다고 생각하기 때문에 USD와 가격이 고정돼 있는 것이다. 실제 코인 가격은 수요와 공급의 원리에 의해서 결정된다.\n\n따라서 USD 연동 스테이블 코인인 테더(Tether)는 평소 1달러에서 거래가 되지만, 수요와 공급에 의해 0.98 ~ 1.02달러까지 약간의 변동성을 보인다. 테더 가격의 변동성은 암호화폐 시장의 안전자산 선호 현상과 연관 지어 볼 수 있다. 가령 암호화폐 시장이 폭락하면 안전자산 선호 현상으로 현금 보유 심리가 커진다.\n\n암호화폐 시장의 현금 기능을 하는 것은 스테이블 코인이다. 따라서 테더를 비롯한 주요 스테이블 코인에 매수세가 유입되면서 일시적으로 가격이 1달러 위에서 거래된다. 반대의 상황도 생각해 볼 수 있다. 암호화폐가 급등하면 투자자들은 현금을 투입해 추격매수에 나선다. 이 경우 스테이블 코인을 팔고 가격 변동성이 있는 암호화폐를 매수하기 때문에 테더를 비롯한 스테이블 코인의 가격이 1달러 밑에서 거래되는 것이다.\n\n실제 비트코인과 테더 가격의 상관계수를 구해보면 -0.53으로 계산된다. 비트코인이 오르면 전반적으로 테더는 떨어지고, 비트코인이 내리면 테더는 오른다는 의미이다. 통계학에선 상관계수가 -0.4보다 작을 경우 역의 상관성, 0.4보다 클 경우 상관성이 있다고 판단한다.\n\n**0.99달러에 매수, 1.02달러에 매도, 수익률은 얼마나?**\n그렇다면 테더 가격이 일시적으로 하락하거나 상승하는 현상을 이용해 차익거래를 하면 수익을 낼 수 있을까? 코인마켓캡에서 제공하는 테더 시세로 테스트해 봤다. 테더 가격이 0.99달러 이하일 때 매수하고, 1.02달러 이상일 때 판다는 가정이다.\n\n매매수수료는 Maker와 Taker 수수료를 각각 0.1%로 동일하게 책정했다. 또한 현실적으로 현재가로 사거나 팔 수 없기 때문에 매수할 땐 현재가보다 0.2% 비싸게, 매도할 땐 0.2% 싸게 매도한다고 가정했다. 기간은 2018년 3월 1일부터 2020년 1월 24일까지이다.\n\n약 2년의 기간 동안 총 36번의 트레이딩 기회가 발생했다. 매매할 때마다 2.41%의 수익률이 발생하기 때문에 복리로 계산한 누적 수익률은 136%이다. 원화환산 수익률은 이보다 높은 155%이다. 테스트 기간 동안 원/달러 환율이 전반적으로 상승한 까닭이다.\n\n수익률도 수익률이지만, 이 방법의 장점은 위험이 매우 낮다는 것에 있다. 사실상 테더가 스테이블 코인으로 신뢰도를 잃지 않으면 1테더의 가치는 언젠가 1달러의 가치로 회기하기 때문이다.\n\n**테더 차익거래의 리스크는 없을까?**\n물론 테더 차익거래도 리스크가 없는 것은 아니다. 먼저 테더를 신뢰할 수 있는가? 하는 문제점이다. 테더는 담보자산으로 테더 발행총액의 74%만 현금 및 현금 등 가물로 보유하고 있다고 밝힌 바 있다. 달리 말하면 1테더의 가치는 사실상 0.74달러와 다름없다는 얘기이다.\n\n환율 위험도 존재한다. 앞서 테스트 기간엔 달러가 원화 대비 전반적으로 강세를 보이는 구간이었다. 그러나 원화가 강세를 보이는 구간이라면 기대수익률이 낮아질 수 있다.\n\n**테더를 효율적으로 구매하는법?**\n현재 테더 거래를 원활히 할 수 있는 거래소를 찾기도 어렵다. 원화로 테더 거래가 가능한 거래소는 OKEX 코리아, 비트소닉, GDAC 정도이다. 문제는 거래량이 적고 매수 및 매도 호가의 스프레드가 크다. 1~3%대 수익을 노리고 하기엔 장애물이 많은 셈이다. 이를 타파하기 위해 btc로 테더를 구매하는 경우가 있는데 이는 btc의 시세차익에 따라 손실이 발생할수 있는 리스크가 있다.\n\n**리스크를 최소화 하면서 테더를 구매할수는 없을까?**\n앞에서 말했다시피 테더를 효율적으로 구매하려면 BTC를 이용하여 테더를 구매하여야 하는데 Binance,Huobi 등 거래소를 떠올릴 것이다. 하지만 이는 거래 중개인을 거치는 행위이기 때문에 단순 테더차익거래로 수익성을 보기 힘들다. 그래서 BTC를 이용하여 거래중개인 없이 저렴하게 테더를 구매하여야 하는데  신뢰성은 물론 rotation이 빠르게 돌아갈 수 있는 구매처를 찾아야 한다. 이에 대해 필자는 코인마켓캡 광고에서 해답을 얻었다.\n\n![sim22.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmdfa7Gyho1J3vXkdFmC19d3K7UTsMAKBZWHSjxuqKJQkP/sim22.png)\n\n그 방법은 최근 'USDT Card'를 발매한  BTCtoUSDT 플랫폼을 이용한 테더구매이다.\nBTCtoUSDT는 스위스에 본사를 둔 cryptocurrency의 직불카드 서비스를 하는 회사이다. 이들은 직불카드 서비스 이전부터 테더를 티켓 예매와 같이 일상생활에서 쉽게 사용할 수 있는 방법을 연구해왔으며 자체 플랫폼에서 BTC를 테더로 교환해준다.\n\n해당 플랫폼을 확인해보면 앞에서 말한 거래소들보다 시세가 저렴한 것을 확인할 수 있다. 2020년 2월 10일 기준으로 1BTC에 10,116.05테더를 구매할 수 있으며 같은 날 Binance 시세는 1BTC에 9855.55 테더 2.6%의 시세차익이 나는걸 확인할 수 있다. 이로써 우리는 테더를 통한 시세차익을 실현할 수 있게 되었다.\n\nBTCtoUSDT\n\nbtctousdt.com",
