That was just, and expected... and incredibly stupid.\n\nJustin Trudeau - for years not very popular with many of his conservative Snow Mexicans - took an unusually firm posture yesterday, almost like he's a man, and delivered a speech that wasn't meant to lick the diapered-covered seating platform of our Great Glorious Golden Leader. Trudeau's tariffs will be imposed on 155 billion Canadian dollars, which is roughly 107 billion US dollars. Mexico's tariff specifications will only be known this Sunday.\n\nAlready car dealers in the USA - many car parts are made in the two neighboring countries - report canceled deals, after the prices of some trucks, like the Dodge Ram, jumped from 80 000 to 100 000 dollars overnight. No religious hillbilly wants to sell another daughter just to energize that jump. This dramatic jump in prices is because car parts move several times across the American-Canadian border during the manufacturing process, and it gets taxed each time.\n\nAlready some Canadians are petitioning for Canada to cut gas to the USA, or to hike the prices of that too. It's one of Canada's biggest exports to America, powering up six million homes, and one thing Muricans cannot live without is reliable energy provision. As part of Canada's kick-back measures, American companies won't be able to bid for government contracts anymore. \n\nThese retaliatory measures are bound to 'officially' upsets King Trump the Traitor. Today and for the foreseeable future in public, Trump will act all dragon, spitting fire and riling up his hillbillies against Snow Mexicans.\n\nBut in private, Trump is grinning from ear to ear, cracking jokes via not too encrypted messages with Vladimir Putin. The latter, who swapped out his morning coffee for champagne after his sleeper agent became president, may now also be bathing in the bubbly piss of grapes. \n\nA month ago, Trump declared economic war against both America's neighbors, then paused it after the leaders of the two countries jumped into action to kiss his feet. The pause was all an excuse, typical Trump, to throw the ball in the opponent's court, and then later claim anyway that the opponent didn't want to play along. Just like we've seen how he dealt with Ukraine's president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. For the past month, both Mexico and Canada really did everything they could to appease Trump. Both sent thousands more soldiers to their borders to stifle the flow of fentanyl and illegal immigrants. But, whatever they could have done, it would not have been enough to get Trump to alter his plan much.\n\nI knew the tariffs were all just a lousy excuse from Trump to fool the world, with less than 1% of that drug in the USA that entered via Canada. Yesterday, Trump followed through with The Plan, by not just \"pausing\" (read: permanently suspending) all aid (including humanitarian, which shows just what he is) to Ukraine, but also by starting a trade war with its two biggest economic allies.\n\nOne can call Herr Twatler all the unpleasant names in the book, but Stupid should not be one of them. Trump and Putin are both brilliant strategists, and proved themselves very able to anticipate how the world's peasants will react. And then the two dictators are all ready for it when it happens.\n\nTrump knew exactly what Canada, Mexico, and China's responses would be: retaliatory tariffs. Havoc on the stock markets and a gold mine for insider trading. (You can bet Trump's mob went short and long at all the right places before the announcements were made yesterday.) Trump knew his kick in the teeth of former allies - but foes to Putin, remember - would be a definite knock on the US economy, and weaken the US even further. I may even get a love emoji on this article from Putin, for all we know.\n\nLet us not forget, Canada sent a lot of weapons and other aid to Ukraine. They deserve a lesson, Putin said. Wait, said sleeper agent since 1987 Trump, I'll do you one better, Boss. I'll find a reason to piss off even Democrats against Canada, I'll get them to despise Canadians. I'll weaken their economy that depends massively on America, and over a year we can strike, declaring war against them, then incorporate Canada as the 51st state of the USA. With Mexico and other Latin American countries. Oh, and with Greenland as well.\n\nCanada is in a somewhat catch-22 position. They rely on America for a whopping 80% of their exports, making it literally impossible to find other countries as trading partners fast enough to offset the inevitable loss of business. Already, more than 1 million Canadian jobs are about to be lost. The province of Ontario is home to Canada's auto manufacturing industry, and its premier, Doug Ford, says he expects many plants to now close down on both sides of the border. All because of one convicted felon, a friend of five pedophiles, the rapist of a 13-year-old child (but religious people say it's okay, the Bible condones it), who is busy destroying America.\n\nBig mouth Trump usually brags about things he's going to do, and then it sounds so crazy that nobody believes him. Also because he's so dishonest of character, with all his lying daily. But just like Putin and Hitler, he follows through on his threats. That's the one thing the general populace fails to accept.\n\nAnd so that's the plan, the bigger picture. Add in a lot of decoys, to distract the peasants and to divide them; sweep them up against one another. Putin will take all of Europe, Trump gets both Americas, and Xi Jinping gets Taiwan and all the rest of Asia. Three power blocks in competition with each other over 5 years, all three firmly under the control of a small group of super wealthy individuals. It sounds so big that many will call it ridiculous, impossible, not going to happen. \n\nAnd that's why the plan will succeed by the end of this decade.",

I will keep it super basic, and sweet and short. \n\nCryptocurrency is all the rage now, and will be for the next 8 years until either Putin or climate change destroys mankind. Meanwhile, you want a private yacht and a private plane. Why risk your pelt with an old school bank robbery, when you can steal hundreds of millions of cryptocurrency anonymously from behind your computer?\n\nThere is a major flaw in some blockchains that can bring millions of transactions and data transfers to a virtual standstill. (At this point in the movie, the cat meows.)  I will be using this as just one example of how many people can – and do – become millionaires overnight. Again, I'm going to keep it very basic.\n\nBut first, TON, because they tie in with this story. **T**he **O**pen **N**etwork was initially developed by the messaging app Telegram's brilliant coders. It is a 'new' blockchain and is worth sacrificing your soul for. Just the past five months, half a million people installed their TonKeeper wallet software, and on a graph one can see the uptake is some of the most dramatic I've seen in the world of crypto.\nIt even offers bridging to other blockchains for interoperability (or they're working on it) and is able to process millions of financial transactions per second, compared to Visa's 17 000 per second. It also offers smart contract functionality like Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche and others, but better.\n\nPlus, transactions happen in a second, at a super low cost like one cent. Compare that to your traditional rip-off scum-sucking degenerate tosser criminal controlling traditional bank that takes three days to send money to another country at an exorbitant fee!\n\nJust like with Bitcoin mining [you can make money with this blockchain](https://t.me/Toncoin_airdrop_eng_bot?start=1214416229) as well, but by doing staking instead of mining, that isn't as rough on energy consumption as the latter. And in several other ways too, which is beyond the scope of this short article.\n\nBasically, to do some ‘mining’ of your own, you would download their software, and register your computer to become a node for the blockchain. All fine, you earn money passively while your computer just do some mathematics and validate encrypted data blocks passing through.\n\nSomewhere someone is sending money, and somewhere else on the other side of the world someone is getting paid. Your computer plays banker on your behalf and get a small transaction fee from those data passing through it. Times a million transactions of others, which makes it worth it, while you sleep.\n\nUnfortunately, new tech brings new challenges. A few days ago, TON issued an official warning on Telegram that will only scare legit validators, while hackers grin at that emphasis on 'immediately'.\n\n<a href=\"https://t.me/Toncoin_airdrop_eng_bot?start=1214416229\" target=\"_blank\"><img src=\"https://i.postimg.cc/jj65vGy1/TON-warning-against-slow-validators-W488.jpg\" alt=\"TON-warning-against-slow-validators-W488\"/></a>\n\nOne of the network's requirements is that your computer must have 64 GB of RAM in order to handle the load. Too low, and your computer becomes a blockage in the network, so to speak. This same issue applies to most blockchains.\n\n**And so here is what hackers can do**, and may have done, to upset the developers in the UAE that are behind the TON blockchain:\n\n1. Rent a botnet consisting of just a few hundred, or even thousands, of old computers. One can rent such a botnet for as little as 150 dollars on the dark web. So cheap, because those home computers still run outdated operating systems like Windows 7, and have low specs such as 1 or 2 or 4 GB memory. The owners of those computers know about nothing, the clever ones may notice that their CPU loads spiked if the rootkit installed by the botnet owner was configured not stealthy enough. But most don't even notice that.\n\n2. Install the TON validator software on each of those computers, and run a script to register them all as new nodes to the blockchain.\n\nSit back and watch a whole blockchain grinds to a halt.\n\nThe reason is that the old computers in your botnet are dragging their feet validating data, and therefore millions of data transfers that should take a second, now takes several minutes, or even bomb out and revert.\n\nWhy would any hacker do this? Easy, for making huge amounts of money very fast by simply shorting on the price of TonCoin.\n\nBy placing an offer-to-buy at any of hundreds of crypto exchanges, the hacker commits himself to buy X amount of coins at a certain future date, at whatever the price will be. With him of course expecting it to be much cheaper then. This can all be setup online, even without KYC. Know Your Customer legislation is aimed at curbing the freedoms of law-abiding citizens and to control what you do with your own money with some flimsy excuse, so that politicians can control you. Or else,  you can use the stolen identity details of someone on Facebook, complete with profile pictures downloaded from there. In fact, you can even provide your real details, your buy-order will be 100% legitimate. \n\nJust a quick disclaimer: I'm not encouraging anyone to do anything illegitimate, okay. See this article for informative purposes only. Leave other people's blockchains alone.\n\nAn hour after he submitted his contractual offer at a leverage of up to X300 at the crypto exchange, the hacker hits the 'red button' to launch his rented botnet. A few hours later, the news of the DDoS attacks has every owner of that blockchain's tokens in a frenzy. The price drops dramatically, guaranteed, as everyone in a panic tries to swap their coins for another coin. And then the hacker buys as his contract stipulates on that time, automatically, at a super low cost.\n\nOne should also remember his botnet did allow many transactions to complete, earning him loads of those coins too. So he'll keep them a few days till the price inevitably rises again. A week later after the price had gone up significantly, as is almost guaranteed as well, the hacker will exchange his very legal loot for dollars again. And nobody but him knows how he really made a million or more USD in one week.\n\nTo be clear, as far as my knowledge goes, TON was not DDoS'ed this way. Even if it was, it did not impact any user from what I could find out. \nHowever, such a hack did happen to Solana in 2021, when it was effectively stalled for a whopping 17 hours after an unexpected surge of transactions. It  “created a memory overflow, which caused many validators to crash, forcing the network to slow down and eventually stall”, according to the official explanation.\n\nDespite that, Solana's price went up that year with a whopping 8600%. If you had just 1000 US dollars in SOL, it would have been worth 86 000 dollars a year later. Not bad! Any blockchain that offers intrinsic value will always see its price rise again, it is a law of nature. \n\nBitcoin, Solana, Ethereum and many of the other well-known blockchains are all single-layer. That is what made some of them so slow and transaction fees so high. Lately they started adding layers on top to help, almost as an afterthought, in my opinion. The Lightning Network for Bitcoin does just that, it's an extra layer. Ethereum and others are upgrading as well now. \n\nThe guys behind TON, they came up with a multi-layer approach from the beginning already, some years back already during the planning phase. See why I'm calling them smart cookies?\n\nThe developers behind the TON blockchain are regarded as some of the best cryptographic coders in the world. With Telegram behind them (unofficially now, after the banks that rule the SEC behind the scenes got the latter to interfere on some technical excuses), one can expect a solid product. I can therefore imagine that they – that keeps a close spying eye on their competition blockchains, as one can see in their documentation – will implement measures into their blockchain to mitigate any such attacks that tries to overload the network. One never knows to what lengths the traditional banking sector will go to disrupt blockchains that threaten their very existence.\n\nTONcoin itself is valuable because of the value the blockchain unlocks for users. It is already integrated in Telegram with its half a billion users, so you can send money and receive money right in your Telegram messaging app as if it's a wallet too. From what I understand, other currencies are in the process of being added too, making it a multi-currency crypto wallet then. What more do you need? Doing a banking transaction is becoming as easy and fast as sending an ordinary message.\n\nThis blockchain is guaranteed to spike in price this year, regardless of bad behavior from hackers or sneaky propaganda from traditional banks. In the past two weeks several more crypto exchanges added TONcoin to their inventories of exchangeable coins, which is a strong sign of trust from the experts.\n\nTON beats most other – in my opinion, all – blockchains, for numerous reasons, like ultra-low transactions costs, speed, number of transactions, scalability, and the smart contracts it can do. Apps are already being built on it, unlocking its value. These features guaranteed that TONcoin will be a major blockchain by the end of this year. Because, you know, aging is a pain and politics can really cause some wrinkles.\n\nOn my one computer, I browsed through the gazillion programs I have installed, and discovered eighteen different photo editing programs. Many I've never used before, just downloaded it way back because I liked the magic its creators promised. It was time to uninstall some, but first gave them a last chance by checking them over again. \n\nChalk, couldn't find much about it on the internet, yet quite a nifty program with many features and a proper handbook. Like a simplified Gimp, one can say. Seems discontinued years ago, yet still available. Kolourpaint, very good as well. InkScape, still hate it, but will keep it for the time being. Krita, great too, but more for painting. And many more, not to even mention the forty – for real – photo editors I have on my one Windows machine. But this article is not a review about them. But some time when I wasn't looking, the developers behind Gimp made some changes.  By default, it now opens in one window only, which I like. One can still detach the panels and turn them into windows, which I won't do. The UI now looks better, and in my opinion its features matches what Adobe PhotoShop can do, and the software is free and open-source. Check, check. \n\nGimp is not an easy program, especially if you want to learn photo editing properly, which is one of my goals for the year. It's like a Boeing cockpit, little buttons everywhere. Many are even ‘hidden’ in plain sight. That I found out after I went to YouTube to get some proper tutorials. One can make someone unrecognizable. His name is Mike Davies, from [Davies Media Design](https://daviesmediadesign.com/), and he is the absolute master on this planet when it comes to photo editing. Not only does he know graphic editing to the tie, he also knows how to explain it, in clear concise language, and one can follow any tutorial along easily. \n\nHis favorite software appears to be Gimp. I downloaded a hundred or so of his tutorials – or so it felt, and I'm not that far off – with each being around 10 minutes. Bite-size. Also downloaded several other videos from other Gimp masters, but none of them match Davies when it comes to explaining like a pro.\n\nThat's when I discovered that graphic designers are gods. Not in a million years would I have guessed what they can do with photos. Magic! I now understand why giving credit for photos is so important; the photographers slash magicians working on it really put in effort they could only have gotten from hard-earned experience. \n\nDavies even made a waterfall on a photo come alive, mist and moving water and everything, and then saving the former still photo as a .gif. Imagine what you can do with a photo of a deceased relative, and you only have that one photo of them.\n\nA discovery I also made is that one can doctor faces. :D  This will change the internet as we know it, you just watch. Okay, fine! I knew that since years ago, I just didn't know to what extent the real masters can do it. They even use very specific colors to add a specific feel to a photo of a politician, to put him in either a good or bad light to viewers. Oh so subtle, but I got the message again how news media with an agenda can play on the prejudices of readers and viewers in the subtleties hidden in photos. Crop out a tiny part, add some extra subtle light on skin flaws or tired eyes, and so on. One just do not think about these things when you read the news online. Photos are visual and have a huge impact on our subconscious minds.\n\nI'm just starting out with this new graphic design hobby of mine, so my attempts are beyond amateurish, but the results do make me chuckle. Therefore, fun to be having with politicians is underway. They'll grant me tax breaks not to mess with them. LOL. For the time being I'll still be jumping among the different photo editors I kept, till I can make up my mind which one to crown the king. How great, you can add all the various cryptocurrency you collected and worked for so hard all into this one new wallet. And buy NFT's. Maybe even hitch a ride on a magical unicorn. And more.\n\nIt was pretty late at night, at twelve minutes past two, and everyone knows nothing good happens after two o'clock. Ask your mother. So I thought I would just quickly check out the site before going to bed. Here's the link, but don't go there, and that's why I'm typing it like this: Tesla Presale Token DOT org.\n\nAh, a trustworthy dot org domain. And what a site. Beautiful. Black background like that of space, planets, stars, wonder. It opens with an animation of a modern space rocket flying among the stars, with Tesla written on it, complete in the same font Tesla woud use. Everything on the site screams the companies Tesla and SpaceX is behind the site - actually, it says so too - and per implication, the word's hero that will deploy planet B before us humans can overpopulate ourselves out of fresh air.\n\nA trustworthy company, a great guy named like nobody else (you know any other Elon Musk?), and therefore, get ready to become filthy rich and fly over the moon. If you want to get rich you must follow the big money and big names, it is Space Rocket Science 101.\n\nBarely a touch of the mousewheel down is a big countdown timer, something about the tokens not being for sale anymore after 2 days, or something like that. It doesn't say, but it is creating that sense of urgency. Brilliant move, Vladi Puti or whomever you are behind the site. \n  A counter just like that of a rocket about to blast off, and you better make sure you don't miss out on the space bus. The psychology getting you to depart with your money is everywhere on the site. And since it is Tesla, that is what you actually wants to do.\n\nLike the space jet but needs some more convincing? A further scroll expedition down lays out the wonders of the new coin. SpaceX will use it. Tesla will use it. Hundreds of companies (red flag!) already accept it. Crypto exchanges are beating down Elon's door to trade the token. The coin is already worth 1.17 US dollars each. It looks exactly like the site of a great company entering the crypto world will look like. 9 out of 10 visitors will fall for the real slimy goal behind it without realizing its real purpose.\n\nWe crypto afficianados all hate Facebook and wants to keep evil Mark Zuckerberg and his dead eyes out of our new playground, so let us play in Elon's sandpit on Mars instead. Plus, why not get yourself the free Tesla wallet too while you're here, where you can store all your Dogies and BTC's and you name it in there.\n\nSounds too good te be true.\n\nAnd it is.\n\nThe site is very real, but also very fake.\n\nAs I pardoned myself already at the top of this article, I was pretty tired and not listening to my gut feeling when I first got onto that site. And I knew I would not want to wade the next day through the so many places where I store info, looking for where I saved info about the site. I feared I may even forget or postpone making work of it.\n\nSo I made the elementary mistake most people will make, I fell right into the real trap: I signed up for a free account. That way I would not forget where the site is (I use many browsers and devices), and even receive reminders, and get important announcements and free airdrops and free lessons for unicorn-flying lessons.\n\n**That, getting you to sign up, is the one true goal of the slimeballs behind the site.** Don't have money now to buy tokens? Still sign up, man. Want to check out this new world of wonders first? Just sign up, man. Want to remain in the loop around the sun? Not just an email address, they want a name and telephone number as well. That was another red flag I ignored. Why my phone number? I gave them one anyway. Because Elon won't phone me at midnight to offer me an extended car warranty. I hope. \n\nCreating a password is necessary too to open an account on the website. They don't give you one, you need to create one yourself, as with most sites. Many people in our day and age still use the same password for many sites, or just a small alteration to it each time. 9 carats become 18 carats then for a hacker with an imposter website that can spot a pattern in that password he gets to see in plain text. (Cannot really call the site in question spoofed, since Tesla do not have such a site yet that can be spoofed.)\n\nAll of us knows the value of a working email address. But pair it with a phone number and some other details, and a hacker has some real gold to work with. Add a newly-created password to the mix to learn some patterns of how the user creates passwords, as a small cherry on top.\n\nI'm happy to say that I provided a long, random password, and blurred email address (compliments from Abine, check them out, or use Firefox Relay), and a very special phone number.\n\nAnyway, at that stage I was still confident that the site is legit. Even said so on Ecency a day later to some people.\n\nI forgotten a bit about making work of the site, till I got some enquiries on Ecency about the new token I mentioned in a comment. And so, I went to do some sniffing.\n\nFirst, checking my emails. The confirmation email for the new account was there, with a link I should click to confirm. Pretty standard, and going to the correct domain. But since when will an American company make elementary spelling mistakes in their email? Well, I learned that 'activate' can be spelled 'active.' And one or two more that most people won't even spot in their confirmation emails. But immediately I realized something smelled like fresh twenty-day-old fish.\n\nOver to [Presearch](https://presearch.org/signup?rid=2942701) (as good as Google, and they pay you in cryptocurrency for searches), to see what I could find about https://teslapresaletoken.org and some reviews. \n\nAs to be expected, the scammers dragged their deception to social media as well. What company won't have a presence on social media? Facebook features in the search results, although I haven't yet checked out the FB page. (Feel free to go pop the link to this article there.) With Elon Musk not being a fan of FB, I found it a bit odd though. And no links to some other major social media sites one would expect.\n\nAlso, no announcement on Tesla's official website about their new currency, metaverse, and wallet. Plus, naturally, scam review sites among the top ten search results.\n\nScam-detector.com is a well-known crusher of scammer dreams, and enjoys a credible reputation. I headed over there, and found what I already knew: This token site Tesla Presale Token DOT org is as fraudulent as they come. It gets the lowest possible score on review sites. Hiding registrant details for privacy reasons is pretty standard with many domains, but I did find it odd that a company like Tesla would want to hide such details. But, the bummer lays in the 'IS' on there. Not Islamic State, but IS for Iceland. Beautiful country. Green, unlike Greenland that's ice all over. Wonderful people, all 300 000 of them minus a handful of criminal factory rejects like bankers. And definitely zero chance that Tesla would register the website for such a major shift in business activities in that country. Maybe pointing a directional antenna over the border and scooping up some coffee shop Wifi, if you know what I mean. With the site looking so professional it is a safe guess that the crooks would knew how to cover their tracks in several ways. We can of course call all the people in Iceland and ask them 'hey are you a loser too pathetic to do honest work?', but it will take up most of my day making all those calls.\n\nAn option would be to contact ICANN, that supposedly overseas all domain registrations, and file a complaint. The domain will be seized, and the hackers will lose a whopping one thousand cents. That's like ten dollars, or whatever a .org goes for nowadays. Will it be a loss to the scammers? Not really. I expect the site to go down any day. Just for it to pop up three days later elsewhere with a new template and new domain at another registrar.\n\nBut what the hackers would have gained during their short criminal stint is invaluable: Data from hundreds of thousands of gullible wanna-have-crypto-gimme-gimme people. And one doesn't change your phone number as easily as your email address. SIM swaps are a real thing, and increasing. Googling someone's phone number delivers more valuable data the user thought was private.\n\nBasically, this deceptive website is a setup to eventually get to your crypto wallets in future. That's the new gold rush for hackers that will topple ransomware hacks this year.\n\nI didn't want to spent too much time and effort on this story, so I just hopped on over to Twitter, and posted a screenshot underneath an Elon-tweet where he complains about annoying advertisements for NFT's. Actually, never, really. It feels to me like the site - and the SteemIt blockchain itself - is losing steam (pun intended), in favor of the many other blockchains popping up. \n\nAnyway...\n\nI created this meme a few days ago to troll some superstitious people on Facebook and elsewhere. It's always fun to be baffled by the logic of religious people, who happen to be the vast majority of anti-vaxxers. \n\nLike, one of the comments I got on Facebook from a very religious guy - according to his FB profile - was: \"Do nothing. The strongest will survive.\" I was stunned. How selfish can one be? True Christian love for the neighbor, huh. What about hospitals reaching breaking point, and children dying because there's no doctors available for them? \n\n Nowhere, not in a single thread I posted it, could any anti-vaxxer really answer the question:\n\n**\"What would you do if you were president, how would you handle the current pandemic?\"**\n\nMost of them suggested what we should NOT do, like not wearing masks because it smothers us. But almost nobody could say what we should do to deal with the pandemic. \n\nA stern anti-vaxxer did offer some advice, including wearing masks and letting people not stand too close to each other, and regular handwashing. When I pointed out that she's recommending the exact same steps the governments she so vocally attacks everywhere are recommending, she must've fallen off her chair. \n\nTherefore I'm directing the question at members here, hoping to hear an amazing brainwave that no political leader or scientist have thought of before. 😉",
