      "body": "It is about providing a learning environment that prepares students for life. One that gives them the skills and knowledge to succeed in whatever they might go on to do in life.  I believe the aim of education should be to promote curiosity, creativity and confidence in every lesson. not to have a band aid approach to learning where one just focuses on the subject, but on where the educations system focuses on the whole child and aims  to find out what makes the student tick and identify their strengths and interests then connect their interests to the real world.\n\nMany students struggle with motivation and focus in secondary school. This can be due to a multitude of factors and there is no blanket solution that will help all students.\n\nTeachers, tutors and mentors should believe in developing strong relationships with their students in order to best understand what makes the student tick and unleash their potential. Building strong  positive relationships involves assessing students to determine their ability level and then developing and delivering teaching strategies that engage them at this level, while setting ambitious goals and monitoring progress towards them.\n\nThis is achievable in a traditional classroom with a bit of work on everyones part.  This approach helps students achieve their full potential and develop a strong sense of purpose, while tapping into their unique passions. \n\nPlease upvote, comment and share if you believe this is what education should be.
