These are few of the many times Humans have changed there mind about what is right. Each of these times in history, regardless if your stand for or against them, had people stopping to think: what is true and Right? and they fought for their awnser.\n\n I say it all to make my point; We always think we know whats best.  We think we know everything. We pridefully claim to know all there is to know about a person or topic. In moderation that could be a good thing, but we do lack humility. we do not know every card and where it is on the table.\n\nYou (the reader) most likely have a political bent. Its either Blue, Red, or in between. You also have a way that you learned to see the world, your place in it, and your role. Let me ask a question: if you LOST  your opinions, who would you stand with? what cause would you join? What if every person went to answer those questions and stopped for 1 minute at 12:00pm EST tomorrow afternoon?\nYou would sit or stand wherever you are, united entirely by two things and nothing more. The first is that you too are observing the very same moment in silence with the people of this world. The second is that those people are human, just as you are. \n\nGoing to work you think about yourself. Driving back home you do the same. All day long you relate to the people around you using all you know and were taught, to interact with them. You can be wrong. It is not human to treat someone as a lesser human being just because they arn't like you think they should be.  \n\nLets say that you are right; why would you think that the human standing in front of you is \"less\" valuable because they don't believe or think what you think?  I get the desire to be self assured, but The fight within you to have other people agree, or find you right, actually tells that you think that persons’ opinion matters. That means People matter. \n\nNow. We are entitled to our opinions and ways of life. And I'm not saying we have to agree, but we can not separate the fact of humanity being a connecting hinge for us. And though I write this to encourage checking yourself, I also write to urge you to be more empathetic,  willing to listen, collaborative for human flourishing  and maybe go deeper than that into discussion  of what love is.\n\nSo why don't we admit that we don't know everything and we may be wrong?",

All day long you relate to the people around you using all you know and where taught, to interact with them. You can be wrong. You can treat someone as a lesser human being just because they arn't like you think they should be.  \n\nLets say that you are right; why would you think that the human standing in front of you is \"less\" valuable because they don't believe or think what you think?  Its one thing to want to be secure, but The fight within you to have other people agree or find you right actually tells that you think that persons opinion matters (because it does). that means People matter. \n\nNow. We are entitled to our opinions and ways of life. And I'm not saying we have to agree, but we can not separate the fact of humanity connecting us. And though I write this to encourage checking yourself, I also write to urge you to be more empathetic,  willing to listen, collaborate for human flourishing  and maybe deeper than that, even discuss what love is.\n\nso why don't we admit that we don't know everything and we may be wrong?",

And maybe we can do just that.\n\nI’m 22 years old and I live in Lynchburg Virginia, south center state. \n\nI’m a Son and a friend, A poet and a songwriter, a Fly Fisherman, and future counselor. \n\nI work for Liberty University as a Fire Alarm technician. And thou I just started, I’m learning quick. I also was a firefighter for a time so I think that helps.\n\nIm pretty normal. I like my beer cold and dark, my whisky straight and my coffee has to be black. Any time I drink either of them, I think of this life and try to make sense of it all. i have conversations about it all the time. And when there is nothing to sit with, my mind still wanders on. \n\nI know this isn’t a dating profile so ill be short.\n\nIn the middle of all of it, one of my roommates (@Garrettplong) and I started writing songs. We plan on playing local shows and possibly releasing an album in the spring/summer of this year\n\nKeep looking out for Songs, Lyrics, Story’s, Poetry, Art, Psychology and Thoughts of what I believe. \n\nMaybe we’ll find that we aren’t so different, find the ways we are, and as we life,\nexperience the beauty of being human. \n\nCan’t wait for it.
