      "body": "The process of investigating a digital video recording to learn if it has been altered or tampered with is called 'Forensic Video Analysis'. \n\nWhen video that is going to be used in the courtroom or serve as a tool to understand the events as they occurred it's integrity may be questioned.  Because video is an extremely important medium, some litigators intentionally alter video before it is ever seen by a trier of fact.  It is not always the intention of the person to deceive; often they edit video only to show those scenes or facts as they occurred in an effort to save time.  The problem with this logic is that the scenes that were removed could become important as the investigation moves forward.\n\nThe biggest problem from a video forensic expert’s perspective is that video that has been edited loses integrity.\nLack of integrity is a deal breaker in court for digital video evidence. \n\nFor example, if a witness testifies and appears to lack integrity, the testimony  will serve of little value to the Trier of Fact. The same is true with digital video evidence integrity. It is extremely important to submit your entire original video recording into evidence, not just a portion of it.\n\nOnce both parties in the litigation have reviewed the video recording submitted that reveals a series of events, one or more of the parties in the litigation may ask if the video has been edited.  This question is best answered by determining, through forensic investigation, the integrity of the video recording. \n\nVideo forensic experts follow a series of action steps to determine if a video recording, video tape, digital video file or DVD has been edited.  \n\nOne of the first steps in the video authentication process is to understand how the video was recorded; what type of equipment was used? Smartphone video? Tablet video? Was it a surveillance video? Perhaps a police dash-cam video?\n\nThe second step is to determine if what the expert is investigating is an original or a copy. By way of definition, an original is a video that has been agreed 'original' by all parties in the litigation.\n\nThe next step is for the video forensic expert to view the video evidence in a forensic lab at normal viewing speed.  This is done by playing the video evidence in whatever forensic or propitiatory software or hardware that is necessary to view the video.  \n\nA Forensic Experts will look for any video anomalies that cause concern or question scientific explanation as to why that anomaly is there.  Abrupt scene changes or repeated frames are closely examined by the video forensic expert. I recently worked on a case and discovered 29 edits in one 10 minute segment of video evidence.\n\nThere are two trains of thought in this circumstance.\nThe video sections that ARE present are accurate and represent those events as they occurred.  However, the forensic expert must look into the reasons why only those segments of video are submitted into evidence and other events were removed.\n\nForensic video analysis by a trained experience video forensic expert will answer any and all questions you have about the integrity of your video recording.",

      "body": "When I heard that Jack Kevorkian died on June 3, 2011, something happened to me. A flood of memories came rushing back into my conscious. I had not seen Jack in about 10 years. \n\n![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZFrPf5cHNc3CkgWAxhSSJxtQJFTxqS1bQP9oHyUgWzo9/image.png)\n\nI met Jack Kevorkian quite fortuitously.\n\nOne Saturday in 1996, I got a call on my cell phone from Geoffery Fieger asking if I rented out my studio for press conferences. After about 3 seconds I said, ‘Yes, I do.’ The studio was located at 17117 West Nine Mile in Southfield, Michigan. My company, Primeau Productions, occupied a space on the 17th floor; 4,200 beautiful square feet of freshly built out carpet, glass and Formica.\n\nGeoffery wanted to have a press conference announcing a song Detroit icon, Mitch Ryder wrote for Dr. Jack; “Mercy.”The song was recorded in Germany by Mitch’s record company, Line Music, and the lyrics told a story about Jack’s passion and purpose. The press conference was that following Monday (remember, it was Saturday). I asked how he would have the press at our offices at 9 AM Monday morning and Geoffery said, “Don’t worry, they’ll come.” I guess I didn’t realize how powerful Geoffery and Dr. Jack’s story really was.\n\nThe press showed up right on time, in fact, I got to the studio about 7 AM and dozens of people from the press were lined up down the hall waiting to get in. It was not clear what Geoffery Fieger’s announcement would be from the faxed press release. Fieger, being a very powerful man here in Michigan, had the ability and the know-how to draw such a crowd.\nThe experience with Dr. Jack, Geoffery Fieger and Mitch Ryder led to Primeau Productions helping to promote the CD that included ‘Mercy,’ ‘Rite of Passage.’ In the wake of all the negative publicity swirling around Dr. Jack Kevorkian, it was next to impossible to get air time for the album on Detroit radio stations, most of which were now controlled by conservative corporate entities.\n\nNevertheless, Primeau Productions made a gallant effort at promoting ‘Mercy’ on Detroit radio on a handshake by Mr. Ryder. The outcome was interesting; the radio stations would not play the record. I suppose the radio stations just didn’t want to take a chance and risk losing advertising sponsors.\n\nAfter meeting and spending time with both Mitch and Geoffery, I became a big groupie and found myself invited and attending Metro Detroit events, such as the Metro Music Awards and Dinner on the Town.\n\nPrimeau Productions studios, Inc. Circa 1996\n\nEd Primeau, Mitch Ryder, Geoffery Fieger\n\nShortly after the press conference, Mr. Fieger called and booked Primeau Productions to record a concert of music that Jack had wrote. Members of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra performed the pieces with the organ being the main instrument.       "body": "As far back as I can remember, my father was the biggest icon in my life.  Since I grew up in the late 50’s and early 60’s, tradition was different then it is today.  Fathers were the main support and income for the families as mothers were the caregivers and nurturers.  \n\nThis is very different today.  Both parents work to support the family as expenses and cost to live are greater.  It seems that people want more than the simple life we had when I was growing up.  Much has been forgotten about good simple family values.  \n\nNot everyone grew up with a positive father experience.  Many grew up with abusive fathers or even no father at all.  This book is especially for you.  But it is also for the men that want to learn how to be a ultimate father.  It is also for daughters who want to learn how a man should treat a lady.  Its for boys who didn’t have fathers to better understand how to become a father because they didn’t have a role model.\n\nIt is very important for fathers to teach their sons about life, love and intimacy.  When a boy grows up without a father, how does he learn how to be a man?  When a little girl grows up without a father, how does she know how men are supposta treat them?  How do each learn how to be in a healthy relationship?  Fathers have to demonstrate healthy relationships.  What does a good marriage look like? \n\nIt is our opinion that boys learn how to be fathers from their father.  If the father was a drunk, the boys probably learned to become a drunk.  If the father is a laborer, the boys are probably laborers.  Simple but true.  \n\nWhy is it that many men turn out to be lame fathers?  Do they lack the courage to be strong for the children?  Did they learn what courage actually was?  Do they know how to balance their life between family and work?  \n\nIt’s been said the if a family were a business, the father is the CEO, chief executive officer.  He may also be the CFO, chief financial officer (although today many moms handle the family’s expenses). Being a father is much more than running a business.  It is about love and leading by example.  It’s about teaching and directing lives.  Fathering is about guidance and free will.  It is about helping children understand life. \n\nIt is also about fun things like bar b q-ing, bowling and camping.  Canoeing, cards and cooking as well as entertaining and decision making..  Bottom line, children learn more from their fathers than any other human being in their lives!  So why is fathering so important?  It is a huge responsibility that many men don’t realize while they are enjoying their favorite pastime, making love.  \n\nFreud said that all men live their lives for one thing and one thing only.  To have sex, lots of sex as much as possible.    Men live their lives for sex.  Many will lie, cheet and even steel for sex.  If children do not have the proper guidance when they are young, they too will live preconscious lives around sex.  \n\nOne of the biggest problems with boys and men today is they do not understand that women are people too.  We know many men who are single and without loving relationships because they don’t understand how to treat a lady.  We are going to help you learn what women want as well as what men want out of relationships.  Its our hope that this book will solve a lot of relationship problems and at the same time teach what it takes to be an ultimate father.\n\nWhen I met Richard, I hear him give a presentation on masculinity and kept saying, yeah and you are right (to myself) during his presentation.  He talked about how men do not learn how to be fathers from their fathers.  How many men grow up with serious issues with their fathers and even hating them?  How can you be a father when you are angry at your own father?  He went on to say that men hold onto this anger all their lives ruining their marriages and intimate relationships.\n\nI went on to think about how this was true in my own life.  My father worked a lot as an architect and was busy a lot.  Too busy for me and I didn’t realize how much that hurt my growing up.  Sure he was a good role model in that he was successful but he lacked the ability to guide me through some very heavy and important life lesions.  He didn’t know how to treat women; he didn’t know how to socialize and was pretty much a loner.  \nHe did have a few friends by default and this was not his fault.  When he was 8 years old, his family traveled to America like many families did in the early 1920’s.  The journey was long and his youngest sister contracted some illness and died before they got to Detroit.  I am pretty sure he didn’t grieve although I am very sure he must have felt horrible.  I am also pretty sure nobody taught him how to grieve.  We are going to help you understand how to grieve so you can teach your children.\n\nOnce they got to Detroit, my grandfather realized he was homesick for Sudbury Ontario and headed back with my dad’s Brother Leo leaving he and his sister with their mother (my grandmother).  She had no skills and god knows how they survived.  \n\nI did hear stories growing up on how my grandmother ran a rooming house cooking and cleaning non stop.  My dad ran liquor as a teenager during the depression making five cents a barrel of beer delivered.  He was around gangsters and criminals most of his childhood.  \nHis mom could not keep up so he put my father in an orphanage he called a boys home.  \nCan you imaging how he must have felt being abandoned?  How could he possible have been a better father for us kids with that kind of experience?  \n\nNobody hands us a manual when we become fathers.  We take our collective knowledge and experience and do the best we can.  It’s like gambling, sometimes we win, sometimes we loose.  \n\nAnyway, meet my mom, Ann Primeau.       "body": "At the end of this blog post is part one of the fully restored digital audio file available for listening to the government conversation that occurred at the time of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. The Announcer at the beginning of the recording  is the poorest quality of the entire 2:01:59.\n\nThis is a combination that I forensically merged from two copies that were in existence. The first copy was released by the government and referred to as the ‘LBJ tapes’ in the early 1970’s. Another longer copy surfaced in a Philadelphia private auction in 2011. This longer copy was found in the belongings of the late General Clifton. Thanks to Bill Kelly, a veteran JFK researcher, Primeau Forensics and I have combined the contents of both recordings and fully restored them.\n\nIn this enhanced recording, you will hear conversations from Air Force One over the Pacific Ocean as they abort a trip to Japan and turn around, mid-air, to return to the mainland after learning about the assassination of the President of the United States. These recorded conversations between Ground Command, the White House and Air Force One include code names such as ‘Duplex,’ ‘Digest,’ ‘Volunteer,’ ‘Liberty,’ ‘Witness,’ ‘Crown,’ ‘Baker,’ ‘Watchman,’ and ‘Tiger.’\n\nDuring the call they make arrangements to transport John F. Kennedy’s body, his widow, President Johnson and the other 40 people safely back to Washington DC. The carefully coordinated and strategically executed planning is heard in this recording. Decisions about media coordination on the ground at the White House, the post-mortem autopsy to be performed by law and President Johnson’s conversation with JFK’s mother, Rose Kennedy can also be heard.\n\nIt may take a while to get your ears acclimated to this early, mobile technology.
