A bullish trend today may have instilled and reignited some confidence amongst investors and traders who had a cloud of doubt over their heads when selling seemed a popular choice.</p>\n<p>This sudden turn of events is rumoured to be fuelled through positive Brexit views and the news that was given through the ECB. Furthermore, the DOW JONES has reported at a down of roughly 1.13% and the S&amp;P followed at a similar rate.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Forecast</h2>\n<p>With this short-term positive performance, it seems like the Euro plans to capitalise on the Dollar's sudden downfall, and we can expect to see this continue for the next few days. This may be encouraging for long-term investors. However, movements since the start of March have indicated more of a ranging movement, between 1.225 and 1.245, with important news playing a major factor in the price uncertainty.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Forecast</h2>\n<p>Although there has been a downtrend, may technical indicators suggest that 1.226-1.23 is a new support level for the currency pair. With Google stating that there is a <a href=\"https://www.paradigmresources.com/blog/google-bans-cryptocurrency-adverts\">ban on cryptocurrency adverts</a>, the general bearish curve has resulted in a lack of confidence from potential investors and customers.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The negative trend circulating cryptocurrencies in general also stemmed from the US congressional hearing, which took place yesterday. In this hearing it was strongly stated that cryptocurrencies left US Government Officials and other representatives dissatisfied. There is now a push on regulatory bodies to find a workaround and soon make regulation over these currencies more likely than ever.</p>\n<h2>Forecast</h2>\n<p>With trading today making a significant recovery and prices are placed above the $8,000 level, there is a sense of retaliation from the digital currency which may spark a replica of the upward trend that we saw last year, although highs of $18-19,000 seem to be unlikely at the moment.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Technical indicators are showing signs of uncertainty as regardless of today's strong performance, the downtrend that we have witnessed recently still leaves potential investors scratching their heads. Although there was a rise from the previous 2.7% figure, it had slipped short of the strong prediction of 3.1%, which encouraged selling as investors lost confidence in the Forex pair.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>After ranging between 0.732 and 0.745 for a few hours,&nbsp;it is significantly evident that the foundations of the economy are gradually building as there was a rise in the GDP however, it seems to be growing at a pace that is slower than acceptable. Through its introduction since the development of Bitcoin, many people have been engrossed in the price movement of the ever-exciting cryptocurrency however, are unaware of the technology that makes it possible.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Blockchain was introduced to work hand-in-hand with Bitcoin and its transactions. The ledgers, which runs on a distributed system, is not connected to one common processor. This forms the block-like architecture, where transactions are time-stamped and then formed into blocks. These blocks are then connected to the next block, forming a chain.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>With central banks in full control of the ledger, the user of currencies built upon the Blockchain technology have full control of their own ledger. A method known as the consensus algorithm maintains the ledger and all copies are synchronised.&nbsp;This ever-growing technology will reshape the future of banking and currencies in general.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>What forms Blockchain?</h2>\n<p><strong>1. Consensus Algorithms:</strong></p>\n<p>The aim of this protocol is to ensure an agreement has been reached when new blocks are added to the already-built chain. This is done within a network. The protocol contains certain requirements and specifications that the new block must meet before being considered to enter the chain. This protocol also makes sure that all members of this network are in agreement when necessary before the addition of a new block.</p>\n<p>Some of the rules include:</p>\n<p>- Bitcoins must be received first before they are sent. This is to prevent the possibility of fraud.</p>\n<p>- One member of the peer-to-peer network is chosen (at random) to fill an ordered array of instructions and transactions. This member is then awarded Bitcoins for doing so.</p>\n<p><strong>2. P2P networking:</strong></p>\n<p>Peer-to-peer networking is the general architecture that forms the Blockchain technology. As mentioned before, this network is distributed, and the removal of a centralised processor means that there is no single point of control. Although this may bring up the question of inconsistency between members of the network, the&nbsp;consensus algorithm&nbsp;ensures that information and data is up-to-date amongst all computers in the network.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>3. A chain of... well, blocks:</strong></p>\n<p>Once the consensus algorithm has been met and new blocks are added to the chain, the amount of information within the network increases. This information must provide a link between itself and current existing information within the Blockchain.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<h2><img src=\"https://s3.amazonaws.com/kajabi-storefronts-production/blogs/5501/images/tlIcqQe5RNqVNjKiEVc4_pexels-photo-315785.jpeg\" width=\"4592\" height=\"3153\"/></h2>\n<h2>What impact can Blockchain have?&nbsp;</h2>\n<p>With over 2 billion people globally without a bank account, the introduction of digital wallets married with the continuous growth of technology in general allows for a more feasible approach. The option of mobile and portable banking without having to go through fewer steps of verification of information appeals to a wider audience. This does not imply that commercial banks will be replaced anytime soon however, the potential admittedly remains.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>So, are banks afraid of being replaced?</p>\n<p>In recent years, commercial and investment banks have not ignored the introduction and development of this technology, but have embraced it in an array of forms. Throughout the adoption of this technology, it is estimated that the banking industry has saved approximately $18bn. For example, handling large loans and shares would be a lot more efficient as the technology, if used correctly, can minimise the margin for error.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;The social impact that Blockchain has created can be defined as the potential revolution especially for developing countries. Such an infrastructure can improve and transform life in such countries, as seen by the previous example of a mobile phone.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The technology can also be implied to improve quality of many other industries. For example, this form of infrastructure could have been implemented in last years US Presidential Election. With many rumours floating around that Russia had hacked the voting systems, Blockchain could have prevented any instances or possibilities of this happening. A decentralised ledger that provides all data needed to accurately count and number votes based on different individuals using the peer-to-peer network could have added a layer of transparency of whether or not there was a form of manipulation.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>What does the future hold?</h2>\n<p>Although the last year has seen a significant influx of interest in the development of this technology and its positive influences, it is not guaranteed that Blockchain can be the underlying technology that we use in our everyday routines.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>With reference to the Financial industry, it seems too optimistic to assume that we can see a centralised financial system be replaced with this technology anytime soon. The current architecture is what forms our everyday lives and our means of interacting with finances and currencies.</p>\n<p>Moreover, there would be an issue with security. President Nicolas Maduro had seen Petro as a&nbsp;key resolution to the countries Economic issues. He had stated that \"Petro is born and we are going to have a total success for the welfare of Venezuela,\" teleSUR reports, followed with Maduro claiming that \"the largest companies and blockchain in the world are with Venezuela.\"&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Venezuela have also claimed that it strongly believes foreign investment from countries like Turkey and Qatar would aid the development of Petro.</p>\n<h2>A Controversial Currency?</h2>\n<p>This may seem like a positive development for the country however, the US Treasury has issued warnings to the general public and potential buyers, that investing in \"the next Bitcoin\" could violate a number of financial sanctions. This would result in a loss of investment, as buyers would see their purchase written off.</p>\n<p>The cryptocurrency is supported through Venezuela's significant oil reserve, with the President stating that 100 million tokens will be available. This, in today's market, is worth roughly $6bn. If all controversy is avoided and Petro can see continuous stages of noticeable development, its potential success could introduce stronger regulations on digital currencies in general.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Amidst all question marks raised, this announcement proves that the government are prepared to take significant strides and have identified their Economic woes. However, my forecast <strong>proved to be correct </strong>as you can see by the chart below. A <strong>massive retaliation</strong> to the recent trend saw the market raise almost 200 points between the lowest and highest points. Earlier on in the day, there were consequent candles of low movement, however heading into the afternoon, the general shape and forecast of the market had <strong> completely altered. </strong>\n<h2>Forecast</h2>\n<p>After the heavy rise in the strength of the Euro today, it is difficult to predict how the trend over the next few days will be. However, the next few hours should see candles of low movement, within the boundaries <strong> 11620 and 11640. </strong></p>\n<p>Following from the crossover system, the EMAs may dip slightly, which may indicate a potential <strong> sell </strong> position, which may bring in a small yet secure profit of roughly 10-20 pips.       "body": "<html>\n<h2>(19/07) EUR/USD Analysis and Forecast </h2> \n<h2>Analysis</h2>\n<p>After a<strong> slow day</strong> following the EUR/USD in terms of volatility, there has been a change in the day-to-day trade of the market, with today illustrating a <strong>downward slope</strong>. Following the crossover strategy that I had posted earlier, only one opportunity had presented itself in the <strong>earlier hours</strong> of the day at roughly just after midnight. &nbsp;</p>\n<p>The <strong>forecast that I had posted </strong>yesterday would have definitely yielded profits as it was predicted to go short/enter a <strong>sell position</strong>. The chart below indicates that the market is still in a downward trend, but may experience periods of retaliation.&nbsp;</p>\n</html>\nhttps://steemitimages.com/DQmTdp7ifwgTb4ST98hj9QFuN2unU7ZEvoDieTkwJFBc9Pc/week.JPG\n<p>The graph above indicates the general movement that we have witnessed over the last few days. As demonstrated, the general trend of the market has been <strong> positive </strong> as the EUR has become increasingly stronger however, today experienced the opposite. </p>\nhttps://steemitimages.com/DQmUwhq7Rnsz5JAucenUZX8cikfmVnRqU8WJvRXJj7oLkdN/day.JPG\n<p>This graph above is a more focused view of how the market moved today. As you can see, there was <strong> not a lot of volatility </strong>, due to a lack of high-impact events. As demonstrated above and explained in my previous crossover-strategy article, an opportunity to sell did arise roughly at around midnight, where the EMA(5) had crossed EMA(10) from the top, with the RSI supporting the possibility of the position. </p> \n<h2> Forecast </h2> \n<p> I personally <strong> do not </strong> expect the strength of the EUR opposed to USD to weaken significantly. Over the next few days, we may see a <strong> positive retaliation </strong> which may return the positive trend that we had seen over the last few days. </p>\n<p>Following the crossover strategy that I had posted earlier on, an opportunity for a strong trade may arise, where EMA(5) would cross EMA(10) from below, with the RSI also looking to head upwards towards the 50 mark.
