      "body": "So the Buzz around the market in crypto world is all about the Segwit activation and the hard fork and soft fork that is going to take place in near future.\n\nI have attached a picture of the routine of segwit activation this year.\n\n![segwit-timeline.width-800.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZjURFZ66d4HPjMmfVSVbzvFo6xvjPLkzY7g9oRre3Bgz/segwit-timeline.width-800.jpg)\n\nMany people do not actually get the technical terms so here I am explaining in a bit short form and in a simple way as it could be told.\n\nSoftfork is actually a simple technique adapted by the developers to reduce some important aspects like reducing transaction fee in crypto exchange,reducing transaction time and so on.\nIn the past few months the number of people getting into the crypto world is much wider and we can say approximately the double the value comparing past 6 month.\n*For the instance we scan take the example of one of the crypto exchange site (poloneix.com) whose member base nearly doubled in past 5 months.\n\nSo what does that means?\n- It means more the people - more the transaction which means slow the blockchain which is the one of the many problem faced by bitcoins users now so to get rid of this a soft fork is going to take place.\n\nHardfork/segwit activation\n- So this actually means in simple word is that the one coin to be splitted into tow or three or four or more than that which depends on what kind of segwit is gonna take place.\n\nThe segwit that is gonna take place on bitcoin is most most probably segwit 2 which means bitcon will be slpitted into coin coins and these will have likely to have different price and usage in the market.\n\nThere is also a hoax that bitcoin to be  splitted into 4 coins which I call only a hoax because almost all the miners are against it and the main reason miners being against is that they would have to buy new mining equipment to mine the coins which is not fruitful for them and us.\n\nNo one can predict the future : its just the research and paper works done according to the news and market.\n\nSo what you need to do from your side ?\n---- Well I would say to sit back and relax and  research more and learn more than that.\n        If you want to take my suggestion then I would recommend you to store your bitcoin in the hardware wallet like\"Ledger\" or in software wallets like \"Exodus\" rather than putting in the exchange sites like poloneix or bittrex because after the splitting of the bitcoin its up to that exchange site what bitcoin will it use i.e. Legacy Bitcoin or new one that means you are not able to choose so to avoid this you can store bitcoin in your hard wallet or desktop soft wallet.\n\nIf you want to learn more visit here - \n\nHave a good day ahead.\nFollow for more informative articles and do leave a feedback.\n\nThanks",
