| title | 6 Ways to Overcome Shyness and Increase Your Confidence |
| body | Are you shy? Do you find it difficult to deal with people or situations? Then I have good news for you. You don't have to suffer from shyness, and you shouldn't feel insecure about every step you take and fear being judged. Winning the war against shyness takes practice, but it's really worth it because the result is an increase in self-confidence and self-esteem. Wake up and feel comfortable in your skin, you can face the world with confidence and assurance, and know that no feeling of shyness can stop you from achieving your goals. Hundreds of books have been written on the subject of how to overcome shyness and gain confidence, but there are some techniques that anyone can put into practice. Here are six suggestions for techniques you can use to overcome your shyness: 1. every morning, as soon as you get up, stand in front of a mirror and say out loud, "I feel great! I feel great! I feel great!" Repeat this affirmation with enthusiasm at least ten times a day until it becomes ingrained in your subconscious. If you feel a little uncomfortable at first, lock yourself in the bathroom. The results will amaze you. 2. Feel comfortable in your skin. Put yourself out there. Get dressed more often. This will give you an added sense of confidence and self-esteem. Just knowing that you are well dressed boosts your self-confidence and reinforces to others that there are things about you that are worth knowing. 3. Take a risk at least once a day. This is very energizing and overcoming fears by taking risks will help you increase your confidence and self-esteem. Start with small risks and fears, and as you overcome them, move on to bigger things. There is nothing you cannot accomplish. Be confident that change can only help you grow and build your confidence. 4. When you are involved in a one-on-one conversation or with a larger group of people, let them know you are shy. This will keep them from misinterpreting you, and they will be much more likely to invite you to join the conversation rather than listening and wishing you could contribute. Many people, myself included, find it difficult to follow a conversation in a noisy room. If you are having difficulty, say so and step aside so you can hear. People respect honesty and vulnerability, and so you will attract more honest people into your life. 5. Rejection is a fact of life that everyone knows. Rarely is it you who is rejected. If you are rejected, such as asking someone out, remember that everyone has different likes and dislikes. You may be attracted to a certain type of person and not others. The same is true for other people and you are probably not their type. This does not devalue you in any way. Accept it and know that you will get over it. Never take it personally and remember that when people reject you, it is because of what they like or dislike, not because of who you are. You have just as much right to reject others because of what you like or dislike. 6. Engage in activities that make you feel enthusiastic and good, or start a hobby that makes you feel relaxed. This can range from gardening to Tai Chi to karate. Take lessons, learn or master a musical instrument, or take singing lessons. Do something that excites you and take risks. Exploring things that excite you is an excellent antidote to shyness. |

| title | The Most Expensive Domain Name In History |
| body | Has anyone ever heard of this young entrepreneur, Andres Kello? He's the guy trying to break the world record for the most expensive domain name of all time. The price tag? How about 12 million plus a dollar. Of the proceeds, at least $4,000,001.00 will be donated to charity. Another $4 million is expected to be donated to its supporters. The official record is held by Business.com with $7.5 million. The unofficial record is $12 million and would be awarded to Sex.com. Imagine that! Mr. Kello thinks the sale of his domain name is a pittance compared to the fees paid by some major companies for 30- and 60-second ads during Sunday's Super Bowl. He thinks the media will be inundated with stories as soon as the sale is completed. Everyone will be logging on to see what this site has to offer and who finally decided to risk those kinds of advertising dollars. Maybe he's right. Now I'm curious and maybe also a little jealous that I didn't come up with such a great idea. I like the charity factor he built into this project, although I think with that kind of money, he should at least donate half of the proceeds. Either way, it's a great gift and I'm sure many people will benefit from it. Mr. Kello also says that he will not give up and leave with his small fortune, but will continue to come up with bigger and better ideas to surpass this project. I hope this project will really see the light of day. Maybe this idea will light the rockets in all of our brains to push more thoughts to new heights and make this world a better, safer and more peaceful environment for our generation and the one that will exist in many years! |

| title | A Simple Guide To Domain Name Choosing |
| body | There is much discussion about what factors are most important when deciding to buy a domain name. The choice of a domain name should be closely linked to the company's business plan and vision. A domain may be chosen based on its benefits for search engine ranking, for a company's brand, or to describe a general term. Consideration should be given to the size of the domain, its pronunciation, its memorability, and the fact that the name is assigned under other similar forms or endings. For example, if one registers a .net domain while the .com domain is already taken and developed, it would be very dangerous to create a trademark for the .net domain that could eventually be confused with its .com counterpart. Domains for search engine positioning. The goal of these domains is to achieve a high search engine ranking because the domain name itself contains the keywords that are being searched for. Search engine domains rarely have brand value and are usually only used as secondary sites to redirect traffic to the main site. A company that sells red gadgets would be well advised to acquire the domain names red-widgets.com and redwidgets.com because people will naturally remember this address, but more importantly because this domain name is very likely to show up in or near the first place in a search query for red gadgets. A very popular tool to find out what people are searching for on the Internet is: Overture Keywords (http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/). Brand domains When moving from an offline to an online business, the obvious choice for brand domains is the offline brand name in the form of a .com and/or .country extension. Country extensions are used in countries where the country extension is more popular than .com. If no brand name existed before going online, it takes a lot of creativity to find a name that can be used as a brand. There are currently millions of domain names registered, and often the domain you want is already taken. Most Internet domain name experts agree that the shorter a domain is, the better. A domain of about five letters is highly desirable for a brand. However, the domain must also have a correct sound. Xyqpt.com would not be desirable because it is not easy for the general public to pronounce or remember. Generic Domains At the height of the Internet bubble, domains that contained generic terms were the most popular choice. Many companies failed when they had the generic term available for their market. Companies like TheKnot.com refused to buy Weddings.com because they knew they needed to focus on their brand. While this strategy worked for TheKnot.com, generic words have their own value that should not be ignored. Just as domains with search engine placement attract a large number of visitors via search engine referrals, so do domains with generic words. For this reason, generic word names are always in high demand and their value is constantly increasing. What we should learn from the dotcom bubble is that generic domains are not everything in an Internet business, but rather a valuable (but not essential) component in a set of variables that make up the success of an Internet business. The current value of these domains, and others in general, can be found in an online publication on recent domain name transactions: Domain Journal Sales (http://www.dnjournal.com/domainsales.htm). The most important factors in the decision to purchase a domain name are the subject of much debate. The choice of a domain name should be closely tied to the company's business plan and vision. The goal of these domains is to achieve a high ranking in search engines, since the domain name itself contains the keywords that are being searched for. |

"title": "A Simple Guide To Domain Name Choosing",
"body": "There is much discussion about what factors are most important when deciding to buy a domain name. For example, if one registers a .net domain while the .com domain is already taken and developed, it would be very dangerous to create a trademark for the .net domain that could eventually be confused with its .com counterpart.\n\nDomains for search engine positioning.\nThe goal of these domains is to achieve a high search engine ranking because the domain name itself contains the keywords that are being searched for. A very popular tool to find out what people are searching for on the Internet is: Overture Keywords (http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/).\n\nBrand domains\nWhen moving from an offline to an online business, the obvious choice for brand domains is the offline brand name in the form of a .com and/or .country extension. Xyqpt.com would not be desirable because it is not easy for the general public to pronounce or remember.\n\nGeneric Domains\nAt the height of the Internet bubble, domains that contained generic terms were the most popular choice. A domain may be chosen based on its benefits for search engine ranking, for a company's brand, or to describe a general term. Consideration should be given to the size of the domain, its pronunciation, its memorability, and the fact that the name is assigned under other similar forms or endings. For example, if one registers a .net domain while the .com domain is already taken and developed, it would be very dangerous to create a trademark for the .net domain that could eventually be confused with its .com counterpart.\n\nDomains for search engine positioning.\nThe goal of these domains is to achieve a high ranking in search engines, since the domain name itself contains the keywords that are being searched for.",

| title | Domain Name Registration Costs Comparison |
| body | The price of domain name registration is a fairly stable market. There are higher and lower prices at different companies, but overall they are within a few dollars of each other. Where domain name registration prices can really be compared is in the area of number of domains, number of years and suffixes. In what follows, we compare domain name registration prices based on the length of time, number of domains and the suffix the name has. The first part of the domain name registration price comparison is the number of domains you register. With most serious registrars, you will get a better price per domain if you register more domain names at the same time. So to get the best price, you usually need to register hundreds of domains. You can expect to save up to 11% if you register more domains with your domain name registrar. Another factor to consider when comparing domain name registration prices is the number of years you register simultaneously. For example, if you only register for one year, you may only pay four dollars, but if you register your domain name for ten years, you can save several dollars per year. This doesn't mean that you should always register for multiple years, but that you should register for the maximum number of years that is convenient for you. Think about how much commitment you want to have to the name and how much you are willing to spend on registration. Remember that even if you pay more, you can always extend the registration when the period expires. The third factor that many people don't think about when comparing domain name registration prices is the domain extension you choose. There are now a whole host of extensions on the Internet, from the traditional .com to the lesser known .ws and .tv. Now, not only do you have to qualify for certain suffixes, but there are also different prices for each suffix. As a general rule, .com, .net, and .org domains are the cheapest and usually cost less than $10 each. The most expensive are usually .ws or .us, which can cost more than $20 per year. However, you should keep in mind that other factors also influence the price. For example, if you're looking at a 5-10 year registration, you'll find that .tv or .ws extensions can sometimes only cost one or two years with a .biz or .info extension. Comparing domain name registration prices is something you may want to do between different companies. However, the best way to compare registration prices is within each registration type. Bulk registrations, certain suffixes and longer registrations are cheaper in the long run. Therefore, if you want to compare domain name registration, you need to consider the different types of registrations, duration and amount, in order to ultimately get the best price for your domain name registration. |

| title | Domain Names Can Be Used To Make Money In Several Ways |
| body | While more and more people and companies are investing in domain names, it has become clear that not all of these names will realize their full income potential. As a domain trader and investor with a portfolio of manageable size, I have often been asked how best to make money from these investment domains. Here are the most common methods to create an income stream or maximize resale value. * Parking the name with a valet service. These services pay a percentage of advertising revenue from ads placed on a page that is displayed when someone visits your domain. Most of these parking services also offer a sales listing service to help resell your domain. * Create your own parking page. Same as above, but you create your own small website with ads and get 100% of the revenue. However, this will not be as profitable as parking services get a much larger traffic stream. * Develop a small but content rich website. These small mini sites are usually filled with articles and contextual Adsense ads. They are often referred to as AdsenseSites. * Develop a full website. Sell services or products and also have paid ads and links, whether by selling your own products or as an affiliate of an existing site. Factors that increase value At all the above stages of development and exploitation, you can make money by reselling the domain/site at a higher value than the purchase price. * Keywords and the ability to use the name brand. For example, http://Become-rich.biz is rich in keywords and has a higher value than http://CrappyNames.com. * Amount of visitor traffic. Simple equation: more visitors = more revenue = more value. * Revenue of the website. (Revenue earned from ads, sales, or paid links). More revenue earned means more value to the website. * Current demand for similar names. If a certain type of name is a hot property, all similar names will increase in value due to demand. * Current search engine ranking. If the name is not listed by major search engines or is on page 346, its value will be low; on the other hand, if it is on the first page of listings, its value will be higher. * Number of websites linking to your website. Associated with traffic and S.E.ranking, more links = more traffic + better ranking. * Buyer's interest in the name. The buyer may want the name for a specific purpose and will pay a premium to make sure they get it. Ways to lose money with domains. * Register a brand name like "P*yP*lFees.com" because of the legal hassle. Most big companies can afford an expensive legal battle - can you? * Pay too much for a domain name. Just because http://ReallyGreat.com sold itself for a high price, doesn't mean you'll pay a high price for any domain name and it will resell for an even higher price. * Being ripped off by emails and other types of scams. Domain investors attract more than their share of scammers. One of them is an email claiming to be someone who wants to buy your name. All you have to do is use their favorite valuation service to confirm the price offered. This is just a trick to get you to pay an inflated price for the valuation. |

"body": "While more and more people and companies are investing in domain names, it has become clear that not all of these names will realize their full income potential. As a domain trader and investor with a portfolio of manageable size, I have often been asked how best to make money from these investment domains. Here are the most common methods to create an income stream or maximize resale value.\n\n* Parking the name with a valet service.\nThese services pay a percentage of advertising revenue from ads placed on a page that is displayed when someone visits your domain. Most of these parking services also offer a sales listing service to help resell your domain.\n\n* Create your own parking page.\nSame as above, but you create your own small website with ads and get 100% of the revenue. However, this will not be as profitable as parking services get a much larger traffic stream.\n\n* Develop a small but content rich website.\nThese small mini sites are usually filled with articles and contextual Adsense ads. They are often referred to as AdsenseSites.\n\n* Develop a full website.\nSell services or products and also have paid ads and links, whether by selling your own products or as an affiliate of an existing site.\n\nFactors that increase value\n\nAt all the above stages of development and exploitation, you can make money by reselling the domain/site at a higher value than the purchase price.\n\n* Keywords and the ability to use the name brand.\nFor example, http://Become-rich.biz is rich in keywords and has a higher value than http://CrappyNames.com.\n\n* Amount of visitor traffic.\nSimple equation: more visitors = more revenue = more value.\n\n* Revenue of the website.\n(Revenue earned from ads, sales, or paid links).
