Just know that it will take quite a while before you start getting attention and followers. The secret to success? Keep posting high quality content regularly, and make sure to search out other people's posts, read them, and give relevant comments.\n\nTagging is extremely important. Always make sure to use all five possible tags, and to keep them relevant. You can always just tag something \"blog\" or \"photography\" or something else really general (so long as it's still relevant) to fill the quota if you need to- most of your tags should be established ones, though one or two less used ones are fine.\n\nPosting more than four times a day can reduce your potential rewards, as well as turning off potential users. I live and work in Manila as a <del>corporate slave</del> specialist<br>\nand now I'm finally using Steemit for the first time!</p>\n<p>Actually, I've had this account since the start of January but I guess I was too busy playing games, watching anime, and writing novels.</p>\n<p>Woah, well will you look at that. Those are literally the three things I do in my life.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Aside from, you know, being a proper social being by hanging out with friends and travelling around <del>the world </del>places.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://i.imgur.com/lyDE7ij.jpg?1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"/></p>\n<p>&nbsp;Hmm, more about myself you ask? <em>*acts as if someone's interested*</em></p>\n<p>I am part of this cool group called <a href=\"https://steemit.com/@trulaloo\">Trulaloo </a>and we make (or try to make) funny videos. We haven't officially launched yet (or maybe we have, I'm really an oblivious person) but we've had a couple of shoots and I'm really <del>nervous</del> excited about it! I hope you guys will like it as much as we did.Moving forward, I'm also an avid gamer. I play <strong>League of Legends</strong> (I main Lulu), <strong>TERA</strong> (call me old school but I actually enjoy the game), <strong>a couple of mobile games</strong> (it's the only platform I can use at work... yeah, I play games at work so shh.), <strong>Sims 4</strong> (I'm in a phase where I just create characters and log off), and a handful of games I bought/downloaded on Steam (<strong>Witcher 3, Civilization 5, Cities Skyline, NSUNS4, Closers, Tree of Savior</strong>). I also played Dragon Age: Inquisition on Xbox 360, and almost the entire Pokemon franchise on all Nintendo devices (I was a self-proclaimed Pokemon Master)</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://i.imgur.com/5Ci0eg4.jpg\" width=\"599\" height=\"599\"/></p>\n<p>Aside from being a house bum, I also watch <del>a lot of</del> anime. Currently, I'm following Boruto, Black Clover, and Noragami. I'd watch more, but I'm afraid I don't have the time (sadly, I can't fit all three hobbies in my weekdays, and my weekends have been full recently). But I've watched almost all the great animes out there (I'm obviously biased) liked Shingeki no Kyujin, Tokyo Ghoul, Kabaneri, FMA and FMAB, Death Note, Mirai Nikki, Fairy Tale, Yuri on Ice, Haikyuu, No Game No Life, Nanatsu no Taizai, One Punch Man, Hataraku Maou-sama, etc.The list will go on and on. Just ask me if I've watched it and there's a 77.89% chance that I'll say yes.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>And don't get me started on the mangas I've read.</p>\n<p>So what do we know so far? I'm a gamer and an otaku.</p>\n<p>You can add <em>author</em> to the list. But am I really? Does writing novels but not being able to finish it count? No? Ok.</p>\n<p>That's me as an author in a nutshell: I'm not. Although I'd like to be one someday. Maybe Steemit can be the stepping stone? Only Steemit knows.</p>\n<p>Alright, I think that's most of my hobbies. I'll just talk about the others next time. For now, I'm really excited to be part of this huge community (shout out to my friends who're on here, thanks for dragging me along)! I am quite aware of how this works, since I'm also a Bitcoiner (is that a legit term?) but I always enjoy a good, healthy discussion about it.
