The sight of this beer was similar to some of the Pilsners he would drink like Schlitz, although this one is better. It seems to have a fair bit of carbonation and a generous head, no lacing and a continuous flow of bubbles from the bottom. It pours a very clear, light golden color and is pleasing in the glass. I enjoyed this beer! I am going to devote this space to politics, beers/whiskey/wine, etc./guns/travel and politics...this time politics.  We  have been through the ringer the past few years and things seem to be moving at light speed now.  Trump/MAGA/Communism-Socialism, etc it's all on the table now.  As background, I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat and definitely not a Socialist/Communist.  I am best described as liberatarian, meaning this:  I prefer as little government as possible, I prefer individual freedom more than anything and I also recognize this country is NOT what the founders envisioned, fought for and died for.  I recognize that our country, while ugly at times, with warts from start to present is STILL better than anything else out there.  I also recognize that we are in peril of losing everything under this current administration, but more importantly under the global pressure of those who want to control every land mass, every person and push their agenda onto the world.  We should not allow this to happen.  People who seemingly had nothing in common in the past, must unite.  We are divided only because 'they' say we should be.  Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, man, woman, transgendered, gay, straight, Indian, Native, whatever - WE need to unite and push back against our own slavery.  My wish would be that all people would realize it is not us against each other, it is the 1 percent versus the rest of us.  We are in peril of becoming even further enslaved by greed and corruption. I am going to devote this space to politics, beers/whiskey/wine, etc./guns/travel and politics...this time politics.  We  have been through the ringer the past few years and things seem to be moving at light speed now.  Trump/MAGA/Communism-Socialism, etc it's all on the table now.  As background, I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat and definitely not a Socialist/Communist.  I am best described as liberatarian, meaning this:  I prefer as little government as possible, I prefer individual freedom more than anything and I also recognize this country is NOT what the founders envisioned, fought for and died for.  I recognize that our country, while ugly at times, with warts from start to present is STILL better than anything else out there.  I also recognize that we are in peril of losing everything under this current administration, but more importantly under the global pressure of those who want to control every land mass, every person and push their agenda onto the world.  We should not allow this to happen.  People who seemingly had nothing in common in the past, must unite.  We are divided only because 'they' say we should be.  Black, White, Asian, Hispanic, man, woman, transgendered, gay, straight, Indian, Native, whatever - WE need to unite and push back against our own slavery.  My wish would be that all people would realize it is not us against each other, it is the 1 percent versus the rest of us.  We are in peril of becoming even further enslaved by greed and corruption.  Fight Back!  Gamestonk is only the beginning.",

The sight of this beer was similar to some of the Pilsners he would drink like Schlitz, although this one is better. The smell is non-descript, the alcohol content is low but the taste is good if not great. It seems to have a fair bit of carbonation and a generous head, no lacing and a continuous flow of bubbles from the bottom. It pours a very clear, light golden color and is pleasing in the glass. I enjoyed this beer! It's a dark beer that can enjoyed year round, in all conditions and several without feeling full or bloated however, at 11.3 ABV several could put a hurting on you. It's in a simple bottle, simple labels and the beer is simply good.   It doesn't need anything more; One taste and you should be sold! It pours a dark amber color with a generous head that can get out of control without some care. The taste for me is malty and fruity and is complex with several different tastes evident and after reading other reviews, I would like to try it again to see if I can pick up on the othet tastes mentioned. I did discern malt, dark fruits---maybe raisins/prunes and even cherry mabye but not strong. That's about all - it 's all perfectly blended though. I really enjoy this beer and is a great beer for a dinner party, sit back after a nice meal and serve this up!\n\nFrom the bottle:\nWarning, ingredients and the main label is the name, ABV, size and the symbol for authentic Trappiste product ! Strong?  Yes, for sure and if you don't like 'boozy' beers, then you will hate this one however, it's pretty balanced as far as being so strong that the taste suffers; there is a smoothness that is usually missing from such a strong beer. Don't drink too many or you will be hurting, but sip, take your time and this beer is completely enjoyable. It pours an almost opaque black with a generous, dark tan head that could get out of control easily. The smell is of breakfast, somehow, but it is for sure. The maple syrup taste and smell is evident and that is probably what gives it the breakfast feel...but it is so enjoyable and I suggest having it for breakfast! As on the bottle, cinnamon and vanilla can also be detected. This brewer makes some very unusual beers and to be honest, at first glance of their list I was so skeptical but of the two I tried, I was impressed.       "body": "The debate on guns is everlasting, but what drives me crazy is when folks misrepresent gun owners, NRA members, supporters of the Second Amendment and cannot even bother to get the terms correct in their debates.  Here is a quick reference for both sides, so that you don't immediately reveal your stupidity.\n\n1.  Magazines versus clips - modern gun DON'T USE CLIPS, AR-15s use magazines, Glocks use magazines, most guns use magazines.\n2. AR-15 (the AR stands for Armalite, not Automatic Rifle and definitely not Assault Rifle\n3.  The AR-15 uses one of the smaller rounds on the market and most hunting rifles are bigger caliber.  AR-15s do come in different calibers, but the majority of civilian owned are .223/5.56 (a small caliber)\n4. High capacity magazines (the rifle comes with 30 round magazines usually or 10 depending where you buy it.  A 30 round magazine is STANDARD, it is not high capacity.\n5. I am a gun owner, have more than 50 do I need them all?  Simply, NO but then again I don't need 300 empty beer bottles for brewing nor do I need 6 bicycles all of which I have.  It is not whether I need them or not, since I am breaking no laws I choose to buy what I want.   I am also a life long NRA member so while you may think that makes me bad somehow, I volunteer, I have helped the elderly, I have taken in no less than 8 people who hit hard times, including my adult daughter - I have never complained, unless they became complacent and lazy.  In my life I have treated people fairly, I have Asian, Black, Hispanic and White friends, I shoot with many of them for fun...being an NRA member only makes me an NRA member, nothing more.\n6. All guns sold through dealers require a background check, PERIOD.  Yes, private sales do not require a background check, but trust me sales like this are not as common as you think and try tracing a mass shooting to one of these guns, it just doesn't happen.  Besides, most people sell to family members or friends so they are not just selling to someone on the street.  \n7.  The Second Amendment is not in place for hunting or self protection- AT ALL;  it is in place for one thing only, SO THAT CITIZENS CAN TAKE UP ARMS AGAINST THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT.  That was and will always be the case.  \n8.  Most shootings in this country are by idiots / criminals with hand guns, yet we focus so much attention on the AR-15 \n9. There is not such thing as a ghost gun\n10.  Bump stocks don't make you a better shooter, if anything it decreases your shooting ability and most people could not even get it to work properly.  Banning bump stocks is absurd, simply because you can bump fire a rifle or hand gun with your belt loop or a wooden dowel.",
