We all saw that it didn’t pay off for them because they just don’t get people outside what they would consider “their class” so they were doomed to lose the general election because their plan was to field a universally hated candidate up against an entertainment guy! \n\nAnd in a weird coincidence, we are having to get our most accurate news from night club comedians like Jimmy Dore so yes everyone has plenty of entertainment, we just need this neoliberal BS to go away and never come back. \nIn Washington D.C or Westminster, this is laughed off as rubbish but they can’t see the effect they have on people from our perspective and there are more of us than all the people that would know exactly what neoliberalism is, why most of us hate it and have no interest in them their rejects like Hillary who simply give us the perfect opportunity to say “FU for not listening to us” by voting for him instead. \n\nThey can laugh, they can repeat the jokes on mainstream media hundreds of times a day. We know what’s happening because we waited for everyone else to tell see progressivism is what's happening, those at the very top have developed a culture masked often as “capitalism” – “Just Business”. Time and Time again this was the argument being used where a powerful group become corrupt and no longer serve the people but whichever corporation is bribing them the most. \n\nIn this US at the time, it was unhidden that the sabotage of the Bernie Sanders campaign and the sheer disregard of the Hillary campaign for poorer areas of the US that gave US independent media explode with popularity which exposed that it was both the promise of the end of neoliberalism with Bernie voters switching to Trump because he at least lied that he was going to “drain the swamp”.\n\nThe Swamp, is basically a term coined to illustrate an overly corrupt political class that attract lobbyists, hacks, fixers, celebrated militarism with Randian individualism. \n\nAs these are all non-democratic political interventions, they remove the apathy of the electorate to wise up to who is making their lives harder in the political world and what’s discovered about those in “the swamp” is that they are self-serving in a short-sighted disruptive manner to the best interests of everyone else.   \n\nWhen looking at the archetypes for sociopathy, it ticks all the boxes for them to be a match for this political class of unapologetically bad actors. They are not just the type to want to control everything else but the type that believes it is naturally entitled to it. The common denominator is that technology took this dark philosophy from serial killers in the 70’s to the suited and booted white collar crooks of today.\n\nIt’s no longer theory that their malicious side is celebrated with symbolism often labelled “Demonic” or “Satanic”. We see this unashamed in the Clinton Machine that has invaded the Democratic Party ever since the late 80’s. We see it in the 2005 US election at the height of the Bush regime change neocon’s and nolib's war monger days where presidential candidate John Kerry is asked on TV about his connection to the Bush neocon’s “The skulls and bones” society. Resulting in a creepy and awkward moment as if the question had overstepped the mark.\n\nThe rumours of their practices are as bizarre as the dark symbolism they are associated with. Between 2018 and 2019, attempts were made to curtail net neutrality which were short-lived but never the less exposed just how incompatible the Clinton machine is against a generation of Millennials and Generation Z’s who were born into a failed neoliberal agenda of economic austerity where the super-rich were given socialism in the form of bailouts while most of the poor people paid for it with a pandemic of foreclosures. \n\nUSA Today anchor Scott Pelley was given night shifts of despair, covering the broken families suffering the most as a result of the 2008 man-made crash.  Although it was abundantly clear that neoliberalism had signed its own death warrant being caught out as a philosophy of elitists, it wasn’t until Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential campaign that the extent of how exposed and unpopular this class had become. \n\nAs if by osmosis, the collapse of neoliberalism was then given a swan song as French president Emanuel Macron took his awkwardly long walk to power, only for his ratings to nosedive quicker than his walk. His style of politics Was not only on a downward trend from the get-go, but the hatred for it would evolve into all-out riots by 2019. \n\nAttempts were made in France by the establishment to do a media blackout of the protests which became the “Yellowjackets” movement. Despite Macron’s best efforts, the protests only grew to a couple million strong. Nothing could hide what it meant that they even dumped rubble in front of their governments buildings.\n\nBy 2019 the US 2020 election campaign was kicked off with a wave of young progressive politician’s  that thanks to Wolfpack/justice democrats from a joint venture between progressive TYT host Cenk Uyger and Secular talk’s Kyle Kulinski designed to primary the democrats that were taking donor money and replace them with true progressives who agree not to take any money from donors. At first, the mid-term elections looked as if the status quo had not been changed until Justice democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who didn’t just beat a corporate Democrat who was taking donor money, but added some Bronx no-nonsense oversight with her impressive outspoken confidence to debunk red scare smears against her. \n\nSadly not of the correct age to run for president at 29 years old, she inspired Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (37) to run for a super progressive presidential platform based on the Humanist values championed in Hawaii with the term “Aloha” being a level of respect and love for humanity rather than a simple friendly way to say “hello”. \nMuch like her younger progressive Allie, Tulsi Gabbard also pledged support early on for the Green New Deal that AOC had been successfully winning over the public with. \n\nBoth women faced pushback from the corporate Clintonite wing of the Democrats who were now largely isolated as a minority of think tank hacks in the US capital or extreme Zionists at the New York Times. This produced a delicious self-owning when New York Times Bari-Weiss with another own goal by Megan Maccaine made fools of themselves critiquing Tulsi using language or logic that made them look uninformed and in a desperate panic to find any smear that lands. \n\nWeiss made her gaffe on The massively popular Joe Rogan Podcast which luckily resulted in her agenda against progressives backfiring with a boost in unique donors to Tulsi Gabbard's campaign which was still behind the 65,000 individual donors she needed to get on the debate stage. The great thing here is that Tulsi had the confidence to achieve that by simply letting her critiques bite off more than they could chew while she keeps her cool. This is maddening to the establishment and really makes their masks slip.  \n\nThis was because she knows how to let the smears die without landing. Also correctly analysed by progressive podcasters like James from Save America podcast(vote Tulsi Gabbard) and Kim Iverson. By the time Tulsi’s campaign made it to guest interview on these independent youtube podcasts, her message had been tweaked to avoid language that the right wing use on the subject of the war on terror. This was first picked up when she was interviewed by TYT as she clashed with Ana Kasparian who bungled the first few attempts to draw this to her audiences attention which really highlighted that even the TYT audience was leaning more toward voting for Gabbard than risk Bernie Sanders again rolling over for the establishment to rig the primary.\n\nAgain With good timing, the Mueller report was finally released which left a cringe-worthy Rachel Maddow left almost speechless to explain why she had spent 2 years trying to push the “Russia Gate” conspiracy that was clearly a failed attempt by mainstream media to manufacture consent for the Trumps cabinet of neocon warmongers and at the same time allowing the corporate Democrats avoid having to explain how they lost the 2016 general election to a failing businessman riddled with controversy. \n\nIn many ways, Trump was exposed as a charlatan who duped most of his base with lies that he would clean the swamp of corruption in Washington, get people healthcare and even failing to build a wall to reduce immigration. \n\nTulsi Gabbard is now set to reach her grassroots donation target for the debate stage and she is now onto the next phase of the inevitable landslide she is working towards with the same grassroots tactics Bernie used successfully in 2015 an 16 where he closed a 60 point lead. \n\nGabbard and Bernie are both progressive populists which the establishment still doesn’t get if we go by how honest and non-progressive the establishment candidates such as Amy klobuchar's most boring ever campaign launch which simply started with her telling everyone what she doesn’t believe in such as Medicare for all.  Same with Beto and Harris, no one finds centrism appealing or even hard to Identify.\n\nThis has instantly hindered all the establishment candidates given the popularity and urgency in the population for an actual health care plan everyone can access like other state services I.E fire rescue, roads and infrastructure. Jeremy Corbyn has weathered the futility of red scare smears for much longer than Tulsi or AOC which hopefully means a radical progressive change in fortunes or the UK and USA that will no doubt showcase once and for all the no brainer advantages of seeking progress in humanity. \n\nNovara Media’s forward-thinking Aaron Bastani is helping to introduce this post propaganda form of luxury communism with his book release this summer called “Fully Automated Luxury Communism a manifesto”. Perfectly timed to arrive just in time for the debates where the US 2019 class of progressive candidates will be wiping the floor with centrists who have nothing to offer to a positive campaign.\n\nThe great thing about Tulsi making it to the debate stage is not only will the progressive policies be an easy sell with voters given the polling shows even republican voter support for Tulsi Gabbard who want another shot at a president offering to end the disastrous regime change wars the US neocons have wasted trillions of dollars and people lives on.\nBecause Tulsi is already a smooth operator with her style of communication and Trump is about as thin-skinned as a \nsmall toddler, if it comes down to a general election between the two it will be like Tulsi is a head teacher triggering a kid having an off twitter TV tantrum.  \n\n2020 will likely be one of the first elections where the media on the internet will be more influential Than TV media which neocons and neolibs are rushing to find ways of making their TV media relevant again. Time and Time again this was the argument being used where a powerful group become corrupt and no longer serve the people but whichever corporation is bribing them the most. \n\nIn this US at the time, it was unhidden that the sabotage of the Bernie Sanders campaign and the sheer disregard of the Hillary campaign for poorer areas of the US that gave US independent media explode with popularity which exposed that it was both the promise of the end of neoliberalism with Bernie voters switching to Trump because he at least lied that he was going to “drain the swamp”.\n\nThe Swamp, is basically a term coined to illustrate an overly corrupt political class that attract lobbyists, hacks, fixers, celebrated militarism with Randian individualism. \n\nAs these are all non-democratic political interventions, they remove the apathy of the electorate to wise up to who is making their lives harder in the political world and what’s discovered about those in “the swamp” is that they are self-serving in a short-sighted disruptive manner to the best interests of everyone else.   \n\nWhen looking at the archetypes for sociopathy, it ticks all the boxes for them to be a match for this political class of unapologetically bad actors. They are not just the type to want to control everything else but the type that believes it is naturally entitled to it. The common denominator is that technology took this dark philosophy from serial killers in the 70’s to the suited and booted white collar crooks of today.\n\nIt’s no longer theory that their malicious side is celebrated with symbolism often labelled “Demonic” or “Satanic”. We see this unashamed in the Clinton Machine that has invaded the Democratic Party ever since the late 80’s. We see it in the 2005 US election at the height of the Bush regime change neocon’s and nolib's war monger days where presidential candidate John Kerry is asked on TV about his connection to the Bush neocon’s “The skulls and bones” society. Resulting in a creepy and awkward moment as if the question had overstepped the mark.\n\nThe rumours of their practices are as bizarre as the dark symbolism they are associated with. Between 2018 and 2019, attempts were made to curtail net neutrality which were short-lived but never the less exposed just how incompatible the Clinton machine is against a generation of Millennials and Generation Z’s who were born into a failed neoliberal agenda of economic austerity where the super-rich were given socialism in the form of bailouts while most of the poor people paid for it with a pandemic of foreclosures. \n\nUSA Today anchor Scott Pelley was given night shifts of despair, covering the broken families suffering the most as a result of the 2008 man-made crash.  Although it was abundantly clear that neoliberalism had signed its own death warrant being caught out as a philosophy of elitists, it wasn’t until Bernie Sanders 2016 presidential campaign that the extent of how exposed and unpopular this class had become. \n\nAs if by osmosis, the collapse of neoliberalism was then given a swan song as French president Emanuel Macron took his awkwardly long walk to power, only for his ratings to nosedive quicker than his walk. His style of politics Was not only on a downward trend from the get-go, but the hatred for it would evolve into all-out riots by 2019. \n\nAttempts were made in France by the establishment to do a media blackout of the protests which became the “Yellowjackets” movement. Despite Macron’s best efforts, the protests only grew to a couple million strong. Nothing could hide what it meant that they even dumped rubble in front of their governments buildings.\n\nBy 2019 the US 2020 election campaign was kicked off with a wave of young progressive politician’s  that thanks to Wolfpack/justice democrats from a joint venture between progressive TYT host Cenk Uyger and Secular talk’s Kyle Kulinski designed to primary the democrats that were taking donor money and replace them with true progressives who agree not to take any money from donors. At first, the mid-term elections looked as if the status quo had not been changed until Justice democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who didn’t just beat a corporate Democrat who was taking donor money, but added some Bronx no-nonsense oversight with her impressive outspoken confidence to debunk red scare smears against her. \n\nSadly not of the correct age to run for president at 29 years old, she inspired Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard (37) to run for a super progressive presidential platform based on the Humanist values championed in Hawaii with the term “Aloha” being a level of respect and love for humanity rather than a simple friendly way to say “hello”. \nMuch like her younger progressive Allie, Tulsi Gabbard also pledged support early on for the Green New Deal that AOC had been successfully winning over the public with. \n\nBoth women faced pushback from the corporate Clintonite wing of the Democrats who were now largely isolated as a minority of think tank hacks in the US capital or extreme Zionists at the New York Times. This produced a delicious self-owning when New York Times Bari-Weiss with another own goal by Megan Maccaine made fools of themselves critiquing Tulsi using language or logic that made them look uninformed and in a desperate panic to find any smear that lands. \n\nWeiss made her gaffe on The massively popular Joe Rogan Podcast which luckily resulted in her agenda against progressives backfiring with a boost in unique donors to Tulsi Gabbard's campaign which was still behind the 65,000 individual donors she needed to get on the debate stage. The great thing here is that Tulsi had the confidence to achieve that by simply letting her critiques bite off more than they could chew while she keeps her cool. This is maddening to the establishment and really makes their masks slip.  \n\nThis was because she knows how to let the smears die without landing. Also correctly analysed by progressive podcasters like James from Save America podcast(vote Tulsi Gabbard) and Kim Iverson. By the time Tulsi’s campaign made it to guest interview on these independent youtube podcasts, her message had been tweaked to avoid language that the right wing use on the subject of the war on terror. This was first picked up when she was interviewed by TYT as she clashed with Ana Kasparian who bungled the first few attempts to draw this to her audiences attention which really highlighted that even the TYT audience was leaning more toward voting for Gabbard than risk Bernie Sanders again rolling over for the establishment to rig the primary.\n\nAgain With good timing, the Mueller report was finally released which left a cringe-worthy Rachel Maddow left almost speechless to explain why she had spent 2 years trying to push the “Russia Gate” conspiracy that was clearly a failed attempt by mainstream media to manufacture consent for the Trumps cabinet of neocon warmongers and at the same time allowing the corporate Democrats avoid having to explain how they lost the 2016 general election to a failing businessman riddled with controversy. \n\nIn many ways, Trump was exposed as a charlatan who duped most of his base with lies that he would clean the swamp of corruption in Washington, get people healthcare and even failing to build a wall to reduce immigration. \n\nTulsi Gabbard is now set to reach her grassroots donation target for the debate stage and she is now onto the next phase of the inevitable landslide she is working towards with the same grassroots tactics Bernie used successfully in 2015 an 16 where he closed a 60 point lead. \n\nGabbard and Bernie are both progressive populists which the establishment still doesn’t get if we go by how honest and non-progressive the establishment candidates such as Amy klobuchar's most boring ever campaign launch which simply started with her telling everyone what she doesn’t believe in such as Medicare for all.  Same with Beto and Harris, no one finds centrism appealing or even hard to Identify.\n\nThis has instantly hindered all the establishment candidates given the popularity and urgency in the population for an actual health care plan everyone can access like other state services I.E fire rescue, roads and infrastructure. Jeremy Corbyn has weathered the futility of red scare smears for much longer than Tulsi or AOC which hopefully means a radical progressive change in fortunes or the UK and USA that will no doubt showcase once and for all the no brainer advantages of seeking progress in humanity. \n\nNovara Media’s forward-thinking Aaron Bastani is helping to introduce this post propaganda form of luxury communism with his book release this summer called “Fully Automated Luxury Communism a manifesto”. One campaign would run a positive but rushed campaign and win it, the losing campaign wasn't rushed but ran a negative uninspiring campaign that only sort to get brexiteers to fear the consequences of leaving the EU. \n\nThe reason the Leave campaign was a positive campaign is that they used language to inspire how good it would be without the EU. They were however rushed because they didn't ever expect to win as the establishment had all given their die-hard kiss of death to the Remain campaign. \n\nRemains campaign wasn't rushed because they thought they would win it from the beginning and a negative one because the hubris was as blatant as their uninspiring messages of doom if they didn't do as they were told by the establishment media.\n\nAfter the campaign ended by kicking off a near 3-year campaign by those that voted remain still trying to catch the winners to divert the chaos they had simulated in reality. The problem was over the course of those years, their platform to prevent their simulated chaos become a reality, their biggest platform would be on the most listened to radio slot in the UK which interacts live with the Twittersphere of the Brexit taglines.   \n\nThat show began to become the home of the debate and a key influencer on the narrative back on old media such as TV and press. This meant the representation of the new Remain campaigners was almost exclusively done via the slots host Mr James O’Brien on LBC. \n\nMuch like the negative punch down campaign that had lost before the referendum, Remain was given a super ego-fuelled message of entitled liberal elite toxicity thanks to this self-confessed \"champagne socialist\".\n\nThe message was then given a boost on YouTube by super fan \"I'm Incorrigible\" who would title the recordings from the show \"Moron's of the week\". These videos became popular for the entertainment factor of James O’Brien running a poverty porn style hazing of the average working class leave voter unlucky enough to take his bait call in questions which might as well have been called \"How moronic and racist to you feel for voting Leave?\"\n\nThis obsession with the entertainment factor of a well off radio host mocking working class voters became the misguided path of the entire remain movement with this shows activity on Twitter where “Mr Incorrigible” was often egged on with live shout outs from James O’Brien. \n\nEventually, the “Moron’s of the week” videos became so popular in the Remain movement that you could literally see links to the videos being shared across all social media networks from The Labour Party Forum and back to twitter responses to key brexiteer twitter accounts as if they were more powerful than any meme.\n\nSurely the lessons of 2016 would be that negative campaigns lose. One of the 2 that year was Hillary Clinton’s establishment corporate democrats who decided they didn’t need to campaign in what’s called “The Rust Belt” because they were considered a “basket of deplorable’s”. Both these campaigns lost because they both had a negative campaign strategy involving voter shaming and an entitled to win hubris about the actual result. \n\nThese are errors in strategy because they don’t inspire people to change their minds, in fact, they do the opposite and cause factions to band together and double down on their original decisions. In many ways what James O'Brien did was to radicalize working class leave voters to stick to their original advocacy for Brexit. \n\nThis was reflected consistently in the polling which during the years since the original referendum, never significantly budged from the original result. This locked the 2 main parties into Brexit because there was never any strong evidence that the result would be different if a peoples vote were to take place even on a final deal. \n\nThis stalemate in the polls resulted in only fringe parties from being bold enough to take an all-out opposing stance to Brexit because the split was not just in the polling but within party memberships too. In Labour this gave some interesting clarity on who is a true progressive and who is more a Blairite centrist hopelessly influenced by non–elected corporate lobbyists. \n\nLabour was already in terrible shape in 2016 after this more corporate wing of the party had twice tried to sabotage their own success in two desperate attempts to remove a true progressive as party leader. \nIt’s the inverse of what has happened to the US Democratic Party where the corporatists have locked in control of their leadership ever since Bill Clinton’s time in the 90’s where voters were easier for them to manipulate with detailed TV media control which was incidentally the same tactic used when Tony Blair first came to power.\n\nThe more new media online took root with progressive networks like The Young Turks (one of the longest running internet shows), the harder it was for the corporate TV media to dominate the narrative. The beauty of this gradual change between 2016 and the 90’s is that it allowed alternative ideas to influence the already 24/hour news cycles around the world. \n\nSo by the time the US election of 2016 was in full swing, a lesser known democratic socialist called Bernie Sanders was able to do the impossible by closing a 60 point poll lead Hillary Clinton had over all other democratic candidates for the best part of 2015. This was almost done again in 2017 when Jeremy Corbyn demolished a 20 point lead the Tories had over Labour.\n\nTo the democratic establishment, this was seen as a genuine threat to their control over the party and its corporate agenda. They decided to actually cheat Bernie Sanders out of the primaries which in the process defrauded a vast number of their voter base who were switching to support Bernie and had donated to the party with the intention of those funds being used to help Bernie win the general election not Hillary who already took a large amount of corporate donor money. \n\nThe difference here between the campaigns was incredibly clear when comparing TV news media to online Independent media. The TV media had almost no coverage of Bernie Sanders and in some cases where news anchors would cover one of his huge rallies live, that anchor would be fired by the network. \n\nOnline however it shows exactly why Hillary Clinton was never going to beat Donald trump in the General Election. So the Washington establishment blinded themselves with an echo chamber of TV media giving the impression that Hillary Clinton would win by a land slide. \n\nWhen it was clearly too late, many of the Independent news networks went into a panic over the idea of the Democrats allowing Trump to win, so this kicked of a short period of independent news voices switching to endorsing Clinton as a kind of better the devil you know scenario.\n\n Popular night club comedian turned online news journalist Jimmy Dore was one of the few not to fall for this futile change of message and decided to endorse the US Green party candidate Jill Stein instead.\n\nOf course we all know it was a futile phase at TYT because Trump had already campaigned where Hillary took for granted and he had stolen Bernie’s populist message of “cleaning the swap”, of course for trump it was a throw away pledge to get elected but compared to Hillary who was showing weaknesses in debates against Trump and no desire to take on board Bernie Sanders popular policies.  \n\nSo this meant that a lot of people who originally supported and donated towards the Sanders campaign would either not vote, or vote for Trump in protest of the DNC’s bias towards an inferior candidate. \n\nBack in the UK it seemed clear the hubris of the US democrats were coming to give the kiss of death to the Remain campaign by fielding President Barack Obama to help PM David Cameron to persuade voters to not vote for Brexit or face “being at the back of the cue” for a US trade deal. \n\nThis was one of many kisses of death for the remain campaign because it wasn’t the least bit persuasive to the average voter that doesn’t have much control over trade as it is and simply angered the leave campaigners who jumped on the opportunity to expose how entitled the remain campaign was. \n\nThings had not been helped by the Greed of David Cameron to use taxpayers money to canvas the entire UK with pro-EU remain campaign leaflets. This was a catastrophic strategic error just like the Obama threats came across as entitled and talking down to the voters.  \n\nSo we have Trump and Brexit because those that opposed these 2 things are more interested in running negative campaigns that either neglect vast geographic areas, patronise them, mock their intelligence and parade them as “morons” to get clicks and listening figures up. \n\nBy 2019 it now looks as though a no deal Brexit is more likely than ever after a weak government through away their majority even though they had a 20 point lead in early 2017. But at least James O’Brian’s listening figures are still high enough to promote those “moron’s of the week” youtube hits and to sell you his book titled just as arrogantly as his campaigning strategies.  \n\nOf course, this analysis will be totally rejected by both the UK and US establishment because if they are wrong about this it means there hasn’t really been any opposition to Trump or Brexit ever since both had won. It’s also shameful that these bad strategies were pointless in the first place. \n\nNot all that campaigned for Remain over the past 3 years have been running negative, some formats were much more positive and less insulting to brexiteers, for example, Mike Galsworthy who did his best to keep in the spotlight, the scientific advantages of EU membership or Owen Jones who instead tried to listen to those working-class communities rather than just mock and talk down to them.\n\n The Remain campaign could have instead just focused on how the EU could be reformed or how it could mean better times for the UK, the “sunny uplands” but from an EU perspective. The fact is, James O'Brien spent too much time trying to red scare about Jeremy Corbyn because like the right of the Labour party, they would rather lose to a full on right wing government than win with a hopeful progressive message.\n\nIn all honesty, I wouldn't have been able to identify these problems myself before 2015 because I was much more like these \"Centrist Dads\" defending capitalism from critIque as project Cameron came to hug the Huskies. This is why I know how these neoliberals think and why they are so cocksure that they are always right because neoliberalism relies on a class system where those at the bottom deserve no respect but socialism for the super-rich is fine, (remember it was Obama, Brown and Cameron who ensured they were bailed out and looked after).\n\nSo as a Millennial who only has been disadvantaged by neoliberalism but still voted remain for science, supported Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn, I think I will skip his book and wait for Fully Automated Luxury Communism by Aaron Bastani of Novara Media to be released instead.",

One campaign would run a positive but rushed campaign and win it, the losing campaign wasn't rushed but ran a negative uninspiring campaign that only sort to get brexiteers to fear the consequences of leaving the EU. \n\nThe reason the Leave campaign was a positive campaign is that they used language to inspire how good it would be without the EU. They were however rushed because they didn't ever expect to win as the establishment had all given their die-hard kiss of death to the Remain campaign. \n\nRemains campaign wasn't rushed because they thought they would win it from the beginning and a negative one because the hubris was as blatant as their uninspiring messages of doom if they didn't do as they were told by the establishment with the media.\n\nAfter the campaign ended by kicking off a near 3-year campaign by those that voted remain still trying to catch the winners to divert the chaos they had simulated in reality. The problem was over the course of those years, their platform to prevent their simulated chaos become a reality, their biggest platform would be on the most listened to radio slot in the UK which interacts live with the Twittersphere of the Brexit taglines.   \n\nThat show began to become the home of the debate and a key influencer on the narrative back on old media such as TV and press. This meant the representation of the new Remain campaigners was almost exclusively done via the slots host Mr James O’Brien on LBC. \n\nMuch like the negative punch down campaign that had lost before the referendum, Remain was given a super ego-fuelled message of entitled liberal elite toxicity thanks to this self-confessed \"champagne socialist\".\n\nThe message was then given a boost on YouTube by super fan \"I'm Incorrigible\" who would title the recordings from the show \"Moron's of the week\". These videos became popular for the entertainment factor of James O’Brien running a poverty porn style hazing of the average working class leave voter unlucky enough to take his bait call in questions which might as well have been called \"How moronic and racist to you feel for voting Leave?\"\n\nThis obsession with the entertainment factor of a well off radio host mocking working class voters became the misguided path of the entire remain movement with this shows activity on Twitter where “Mr Incorrigible” was often egged on with live shout outs from James O’Brien. \n\nEventually, the “Moron’s of the week” videos became so popular in the Remain movement that you could literally see links to the videos being shared across all social media networks from The Labour Party Forum and back to twitter responses to key brexiteer twitter accounts as if they were more powerful than any meme.\n\nSurely the lessons of 2016 would be that negative campaigns lose. One of the 2 that year was Hillary Clinton’s establishment corporate democrats who decided they didn’t need to campaign in what’s called “The Rust Belt” because they were considered a “basket of deplorable’s”. Both these campaigns lost because they both had a negative campaign strategy involving voter shaming and an entitled to win hubris about the actual result. \n\nThese are errors in strategy because they don’t inspire people to change their minds, in fact, they do the opposite and cause factions to band together and double down on their original decisions. In many ways what James O'Brien did was to radicalize working class leave voters to stick to their original advocacy for Brexit. \n\nThis was reflected consistently in the polling which during the years since the original referendum, never significantly budged from the original result. This locked the 2 main parties into Brexit because there was never any strong evidence that the result would be different if a peoples vote were to take place even on a final deal. \n\nThis stalemate in the polls resulted in only fringe parties from being bold enough to take an all-out opposing stance to Brexit because the split was not just in the polling but within party memberships too. In Labour this gave some interesting clarity on who is a true progressive and who is more a Blairite centrist hopelessly influenced by non–elected corporate lobbyists. \n\nLabour was already in terrible shape in 2016 after this more corporate wing of the party had twice tried to sabotage their own success in two desperate attempts to remove a true progressive as party leader. \nIt’s the inverse of what has happened to the US Democratic Party where the corporatists have locked in control of their leadership ever since Bill Clinton’s time in the 90’s where voters were easier for them to manipulate with detailed TV media control which was incidentally the same tactic used when Tony Blair first came to power.\n\nThe more new media online took root with progressive networks like The Young Turks (one of the longest running internet shows), the harder it was for the corporate TV media to dominate the narrative. The beauty of this gradual change between 2016 and the 90’s is that it allowed alternative ideas to influence the already 24/hour news cycles around the world. \n\nSo by the time the US election of 2016 was in full swing, a lesser known democratic socialist called Bernie Sanders was able to do the impossible by closing a 60 point poll lead Hillary Clinton had over all other democratic candidates for the best part of 2015. This was almost done again in 2017 when Jeremy Corbyn demolished a 20 point lead the Tories had over Labour.\n\nTo the democratic establishment, this was seen as a genuine threat to their control over the party and its corporate agenda. They decided to actually cheat Bernie Sanders out of the primaries which in the process defrauded a vast number of their voter base who were switching to support Bernie and had donated to the party with the intention of those funds being used to help Bernie win the general election not Hillary who already took a large amount of corporate donor money. \n\nThe difference here between the campaigns was incredibly clear when comparing TV news media to online Independent media. The TV media had almost no coverage of Bernie Sanders and in some cases where news anchors would cover one of his huge rallies live, that anchor would be fired by the network. \n\nOnline however it shows exactly why Hillary Clinton was never going to beat Donald trump in the General Election. So the Washington establishment blinded themselves with an echo chamber of TV media giving the impression that Hillary Clinton would win by a land slide. \n\nWhen it was clearly too late, many of the Independent news networks went into a panic over the idea of the Democrats allowing Trump to win, so this kicked of a short period of independent news voices switching to endorsing Clinton as a kind of better the devil you know scenario.\n\n Popular night club comedian turned online news journalist Jimmy Dore was one of the few not to fall for this futile change of message and decided to endorse the US Green party candidate Jill Stein instead.\n\nOf course we all know it was a futile phase at TYT because Trump had already campaigned where Hillary took for granted and he had stolen Bernie’s populist message of “cleaning the swap”, of course for trump it was a throw away pledge to get elected but compared to Hillary who was showing weaknesses in debates against Trump and no desire to take on board Bernie Sanders popular policies.  \n\nSo this meant that a lot of people who originally supported and donated towards the Sanders campaign would either not vote, or vote for Trump in protest of the DNC’s bias towards an inferior candidate. \n\nBack in the UK it seemed clear the hubris of the US democrats were coming to give the kiss of death to the Remain campaign by fielding President Barack Obama to help PM David Cameron to persuade voters to not vote for Brexit or face “being at the back of the cue” for a US trade deal. \n\nThis was one of many kisses of death for the remain campaign because it wasn’t the least bit persuasive to the average voter that doesn’t have much control over trade as it is and simply angered the leave campaigners who jumped on the opportunity to expose how entitled the remain campaign was. \n\nThings had not been helped by the Greed of David Cameron to use tax payers money to canvas the entire UK with pro-EU remain campaign leaflets. This was a catastrophic strategic error just like the Obama threats came across as entitled and talking down to the voters.  \n\nSo we have Trump and Brexit because those that opposed these 2 things are more interested in running negative campaigns that either neglect vast geographic areas, patronise them, mock their intelligence and parade them as “morons” to get clicks and listening figures up. \n\nBy 2019 it now looks as though a no deal Brexit is more likely than ever after a weak government through away their majority even though they had a 20 point lead in early 2017. But at least James O’Brian’s listening figures are still high enough to promote those “moron’s of the week” youtube hits and to sell you his book titled just as arrogantly as his campaigning strategies.  \n\nOf course this analysis will be totally rejected by both the UK and US establishment because if they are wrong about this it means there hasn’t really been an opposition to Trump or Brexit ever since both had won. It’s also be shameful that these bad strategies were pointless in the first place. \n\nNot all that campaigned for Remain over the past 3 years have been running negative, some formats were much more positive and less insulting to brexiteers, for example, Mike Galsworthy who did his best to keep in the spotlight, the scientific advantages of EU membership or Owen Jones who instead tried to listen to those working-class communities rather than just mock and talk down to them.\n\n The Remain campaign could have instead just focused on how the EU could be reformed or how it could mean better times for the UK, the “sunny uplands” but from an EU perspective. The fact is, James O'Brien spent too much time trying to red scare about Jeremy Corbyn because like the right of the Labour party, they would rather lose to a full on right wing government than win with a hopeful progressive message.\n\nIn all honesty, I wouldn't have been able to identify these problems myself before 2015 because I was much more like these \"Centrist Dads\" defending capitalism from critIque as project Cameron came to hug the Huskies. This is why I know how these neoliberals think and why they are so cocksure that they are always right because neoliberalism relies on a class system where those at the bottom deserve no respect but socialism for the super-rich is fine, (remember it was Obama, Brown and Cameron who ensured they were bailed out and looked after).\n\nSo as a Millennial who only has been disadvantaged by neoliberalism but still voted remain for science, supported Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn, I think I will skip his book and wait for Fully Automated Luxury Communism by Aaron Bastani of Novara Media to be released instead.",

Sadly the corruption behind its inception started long before it kicked off the best part of a century of lies and suffering from repeated industrial greed at the expense of human lives and potential. \n\nThe original snake oil salesman known under the alias “Livingston” was actually William Avery Rockefeller. He sold what was no more than car oil to people stricken with cancer during the 19th century. \n![WilliamRockefeller.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmbTzdrRzzZ2rZhYkWgueDprriavjsPxiof3A5EnsmkkgQ/WilliamRockefeller.jpg)\n \nTo Stop his deceptions catching up with him he lived a vagabond lifestyle drifting from his roots in Pennsylvania by abandoning his wife and 6 children to start a bigamous marriage in Canada at the same time as he fathered 2 more children by a 3rd women. \n\nThe alias Livingston was used when he was indicted for raping a young girl in Cayuga in 1846. He was known to mistreat just about anyone had had contact with so he was given the kick name Devil Bill to his self-preferred “big Bill”. \n\nHe was known to have said, “I cheat my boys at every chance I get to keep them sharp”. Possibly an example of a bloodline tainted by sociopathy his son John D. Rockefeller went onto fund the American Standard Oil monopoly to become the world’s first billionaire.\n![maxresdefault.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmPgYavkVxGSMtrvAhTSH2FqEazBZPgCezoTxj9mA198yp/maxresdefault.jpg)\n \nIt’s almost as if a “Devil Bill” was the perfect villain to give rise to an era of perpetual political corruption and wars that would climax to a situation known as Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) as all the world’s most powerful countries gained nuclear weapons. This would lead to a situation where sociopathy would be rewarded because the country that cheated the most would come out on top. \n\nFor the oil industry, the birth of the military-industrial complex was their biggest gift. It meant that not only could the oil industry manufacture consent for wars that would provide them with new opportunities to grow and assert dominance, but it would also mean they could work hand in hand with the money system to lock in place debt-based economies that suited their control over populations. \n\nThe early years of these industrial giants saw their hold on humanities growth take over like an aggressive cancer. The auto oil industry gave rise to the petrochemical industry and by 1906, governments were already being lobbied by these giants to class natural medicines like cannabis as “poisons”. It wasn’t until the 1920’s that they actually made headway in having outright prohibitions would be triggered. \n\nThe restrictions grew with the propaganda leading to US acts like the Uniform State Narcotics Drug Act of 1934 which was much more restrictive than the Harrison Act of 1914. A notable figure of this era of early prohibition was the Head of the US Bureau of Narcotics Harry j. Ainslinger. Like the unsavoury character that kicked off this mess, Ainslinger was an uncompromising bigot.\n \n\nHis open bigotted reasons for holding such a tough stance on cannabis lead to his quote “Marijuana makes the darkies think they are as good as the white man”. The Hearst Newspaper chain was also a major ally in the passage of this bill. This connection made sure Hemp was included in the bill to free them of competition using superior Hemp derived paper and fabric products.\n\nBy the 30’s the pharmaceutical industry was also fully on-board the Devil Bill agenda. This saw in the UK the introduction of acts like the 1939 cancer act. Ironically this act would have seen Devil Bill get fined thousands of pounds for claiming his snake oil was the cure for cancer. This act was meant to prohibit people from making such claims about 1 treatment for cancer. \n\nInstead, the act played into the hands of the pharmaceutical industry which had a vested interest in keeping the standard of care entirely synthetic and patentable. This put them at odds with cannabis for its natural origins but also its conflict of interest with the pharmaceutical business model of “find the treatment, not the cure”. \n\nThat’s not to say that cannabis was considered a curative plant during these early days of prohibition, but it had been applied with great success during the Victorian era as a medicine with a reliable therapeutic profile on inflammation. \nThe actual date of the prohibition in the UK started on September 28th 1928 which was a bolt on to the 1925 opium convention where other drugs were legislated against in The Hague. \n\nBy the 1950’s the corporate classes in support of prohibition sort to stamp out the use of cannabis entirely by running the first major propaganda campaign against cannabis, named Reefer Madness. This campaign centred on a melodramatic public information film featuring actors depicting various violent crimes after enjoy a “marijuana cigarette”. \n \n![http_%2F%2Fa.amz.mshcdn.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2016%2F04%2Freefermadness-9.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmUbBCLEkz7htVxt6MNHP4taxGZhVxK9WopuCBFWD6ZQJU/http_%2F%2Fa.amz.mshcdn.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2016%2F04%2Freefermadness-9.jpg)\n\nThe original campaign was financed by a church group on a budget of $100,000 that called it “Tell Your Children”. The faith in the propaganda faded out during the 1960’s as moral for the Viet-Nam war nose-dived as the US citizens grew weary of the false positive reports from the Lyndon and eventual Nixon administration.\n \nIn 1970 the film was rediscovered by the hippy movement and used to lampoon the nanny state attitude of prohibition why was now being culturally countered by both youths and returning older Viet-Nam vets that were looking to explore a more peaceful world that the unpopular war had given such hunger for. \n\nThis movement was countered by Nixon who like Ainslinger before him, used prohibition of cannabis to target his racial and cultural prejudices. Again the black community was seen as the main users of cannabis but Nixon also hated the hippy movement because they were the biggest threat to the Military Industrial Complex. \n\nTo the white political classes, the young generation of the 70’s seemed utterly uninterested in going to war, no matter what they tried to brainwash them within the media. The early 70’s were where the first movement of progressives were snuffed out by the political classes, Military Industrial Complex and oil corporations who all feared total loss of control as they lost support from both the new registrations to vote and the burned out Vietnam vets who had flooded the US with a new generation of opioid addicts which had become their tokens of escape from the war while they were over there.\n\nThey snuffed this movement against war out but changing their tactics and increasing their handle of technology. The military did this by increasing the distance from which their soldiers would engage the enemy.\nThis was in in the hope that it would dehumanise the enemy and increase the ability of their soldiers to kill. \n\nThey also changed the way their soldiers were trained by implementing fear as an incentive to kill. This tactic was also adopted by the right-wing talk radio shows that were slowly popping up throughout the 80’s to increase fear of “the other”... “They’re coming for your jobs, your wife’s and daughters” these stations would spew out like a siren. \n\nCulturally, the evangelical churches in America were also riding this wave of using fear to control the population. All of these now neo-conservative platforms were on the same team to stamp out progressivism and again cannabis/the war on drugs provided an easy talking point to mascaraed control as pure matters of morality. \n\nTo keep this going into the Millennium, they had to re-brand neo-conservativism as neo-liberalism. Essentially they are 2 sides of the same coin, a political system where corporations that pay the highest bribes get the most influence on the laws that govern society.\n \nIn the UK the same had been applied to both major parties where the Conservatives played bad cop to the progressives while the infiltrated Labour party had been turned into their soft opposition under Tony Blair who was an open Thatcherite and inspired by power of TV to control voters after observing the Clinton’s campaigns during the 90’s.\n \nWith the death of Labour leader John Smith, Tony Blair struck a deal with his political counterpart Gordon Brown to secure the leadership and swap control of the country as a soft opposition to the washed up Conservatives who had lost the TV game through years of infighting over EU membership and a barrage of sleazy scandals.\n\nFar be it from a positive move forward against prohibition, Cannabis was simply used as a subject to keep right-leaning newspapers on side. Between 2004 and 2009, cannabis was re-classed from a class B drug where it had been since the 70’s, to a class C considered less harmful. \n\nDespite the brief period of relaxation, the drug was still heavily policed and after years of propaganda was firmly stigmatised against at the behest of many of the very same corporations that had attacked it from the very start of prohibition. \n\nAttempts to normalise it was still stamped out with irrationally heavy-handed police resources. Drug’s education was also in on the propaganda to the extent that the emerging science on cannabis was being blocked from being communicated because the findings contradicted the narrative the establishment preferred. \n\nThis war between science and political control came to a head when the Labour party under Gordon Brown reached a conflict of interest with their own government scientists, namely Professor David Nutt who concluded that cannabis is medicine and should be treated as so. He even found the link between psychosis and heavy cannabis use, which the prohibition lobby was quick to exaggerate for their aims.\n\nAs well as being soft opposition to conservative and corporate interests, Gorden Brown was also desperate for a way to regain the support of the right-wing media. Because these media were now also as good as a wing of the corporations that lobbied for prohibition, Gordon Brown jumped on the exaggerations of Professor David Nutt’s findings and overruled his recommendations to decriminalise cannabis.\n\nWhat happened next was the media character assassination of David Nutt, his firing by the government and then the re-classification of Cannabis being a class C drug, back to a class B. This instantly backfired for Gordon Brown as his poll ratings continued to fall.\n\nThis was compounded by the fact that he failed to lobby the media to support him over his conservative opponent David Cameron. David Cameron’s Conservative opposition successfully ran rings around Gordon Brown by blaming his government and premiership for the extent of the 2008 financial crisis. \n\nUnfortunately, David Cameron was no friend to progressive’s opposition prohibition. This lead to 6 more years of prohibition at its worst. The fact that David Cameron was Prime Minister at the same time that Obama was president, served the corporate classes well because they had both come to power promising the public real change and progress, but in reality, they were both a wolf in sheep's clothing.\n\nPart of this was because corporate power had increased during these years as austerity measures reduced what was left of the social programs that had given the UK its world-leading public services. \nInstead of a counter to this in the US, prohibition was made worse by a pass over of conservative soft-opposition with the heavily Clinton influenced Obama administration. \n\nOriginally running as a progressive, Obama successfully hoodwinked progressives into voting him into power only for him to explode the prison population, clamp down on whistle-blowers and strengthen the deep states access to public privacy. \n\nThe explosion of the prison population in the US was fuelled by prohibition and private industries that tried to birth a for-profit prison system where white police were fear trained to target black suspects often for victimless cannabis offences, pass them to a court system designed to maximise their penalties and then pass them onto the for-profit prisons.\n\nThis lead to a sickly corrupted cycle of incentives to lock up as many citizens as possible for the most minor offences and cannabis was the subject of the majority of them. A saving grace was the US federal systems weak spot, Colorado had become a home of progressives all over the country looking for a place to make a stand against prohibition and they used State laws to circumvent the federal laws against cannabis. \n\nThey had already made huge gains with medical dispensaries and became the first State to fully legalize cannabis and kick off the start of the end of prohibition. This gave rise to the end of prohibition in other progressive states like California and Washington.\n\nIn the UK the parliamentary system failed to open such doors to relax the laws on cannabis. After the Brexit vote, the country made a lurch to the right, voting in Theresa May who had been the most right-wing home secretary in a generation.\n\nWhile in the home office, she creating the perfect conditions for the population to divide on immigration by simply not enforcing the EU's rules of freedom of movement which only last 3 months, but also oppose cannabis from a point of utter snobbery and junk science from the continued exaggerations made of David Nutt's findings on psychosis. \n\n2018 has been something of a C change for the UK cannabis community. The government has exposed their corporate bias too often by seeing how far they can go without acting after stealing THCA medication from epileptic children in the public eye. \n\nThere was a pattern of this happening where the family’s case would be picked up in the media and go viral. The government would then deny licenses to the parents until the child suffered a life-threatening seizure which played disastrously for the government’s public perception. \n\n![Alfie.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVit9YSDc69xHBNYup1qHP9vLVGPAXPR3FmYMnnGZgkLt/Alfie.jpg)\n\nThey would then act to return the medication in order to be seen allowing children to die in the public eye. The problem was that they were only giving medication back to the few families whose story went viral.\nWhen they were also put under pressure from both the public and party infighting, they tried to make out that the government would review its position on the law regarding cannabis but strictly few medical purposes. \n\nThis very change in tone contradicted year of their denial that cannabis has any medical benefits. They then put out a statement from the home office to parliament that a rescheduling would be in order from 1 to 2. \nFar be it from any real change, they simply made it so that anyone to benefit would be their pharmaceutical donors protecting their THC monopoly via GW pharmaceuticals. \n\n![41264752_872343679641841_86268764647063552_n.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmbtg6gfxdTbvYxgvwQebkRrmiFtZKwzZkaqcz6VWEiVLi/41264752_872343679641841_86268764647063552_n.png)\n\nThe facts are thousands of UK families with people afflicted with serious and chronic inflammatory diseases are being denied licensed access to cannabis, leaving people all over the country to suffer and die while the government continues to bank profits from their monopoly selling cannabis to other countries. \n\nIn many ways, it’s turned the UK into a prison Island where the population are left without proper medical care while a minority in power get richer at their expense. \n\nThere is hope though. This is because the government have simply bitten off more than they can chew with their greed. They are clinging onto power with poor poll ratings and hopelessly out-manoeuvered by the UKCSC \nThe UKCSC (United Kingdom Cannabis Social Clubs) is creating a regulated cannabis market by educating the public and encouraging towns and cities all over the UK to set up local cannabis social clubs. \n\n![16999157_1356968174363858_5768212967309184250_n.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeHAMhSyYwnKFqhFqqWYg99JBcJuyX8UYAqEWKSPLoEKD/16999157_1356968174363858_5768212967309184250_n.jpg)\n\nIn 2018 the success of their model has got to a stage where the UKCSC now has a regular media presence on the subject of cannabis, a political seat-like map that enables patients to gain reliable connections in their area to gain safe access to cannabis that is known to be grown well. \n\nThis is much to the frustration of the criminal market where cash crops are used purely to rip off patients with poorly grown cannabis at an inflated price. Another loser from this progress is the scammers who simply get reported and exposed throughout the entire list of UKCSC clubs. \n\nThe UKCSC also has a growing level of support from the police community who have had nothing but cuts from the government which they expect them to prioritise victimless crimes such as the cultivation and use of cannabis. \nThere are now 6 known Police Crime Commissioners who openly support a regulated cannabis market which has been proven to work via the UKCSC because it removes the waste of resources the police have to spend dealing with the criminal market because the cash crops are slowly being put out of business. \n\nThis is the criminal cash crops lost their control over the cannabis market in Colorado. No one in their right mind is going to buy dodgy cannabis from unknown strangers charging stupid prices when they can simply look up who is known to their closest cannabis social club. \n\nGoing forward, the fight is now to outreach to the public that these clubs exist and why they are an essential benefit to public health. For too long the public that is healthy have been given the impression that if they lose their health, the NHS will be their only choice.\n\nThis suited the pharmaceuticals because the NHS is in their pockets as a platform they use purely to administer their repeated treatment, no cures business model. This is not to say the NHS is happy with that model. Most people that work in the NHS do so because they had the calling to help other people and it’s those NHS workers that are privately meeting with cannabis social clubs to help progress their movement. \n\nThe days of prohibition are now numbered because it’s the older pre-internet generations that have been used by the powerful to push these corrupt problems of unregulated capitalism. The younger generation is growing up savvy to who is on their side and who is just looking out for themselves. This is great for the UKCSC because their outreach is much more compatible with the younger generations who are eager to solve problems caused by the corrupt before them. \n\nThe clubs are evolving to be much more than just about cannabis. They are merging with other progressive causes that want to solve the problem of homelessness such as Project Home, or with pressure groups that serve to ensure political parties serve public interest instead of just corporate interests like we saw with neo-con and neoliberal politics.\nIt may be a long time ago since Devil Bill kicked off a reality within the universe where evil people are rewarded for their selfishness all in the name of oil. But it will not be a long time before his legacy is consigned to the history books and judged as one of the most regressive in humanity.",

      "body": "Part 30: Patients at Parliament...\n\nChristmas 2018 was thankfully as seizure free as the previous for me, leaving me to enjoy turning 32 shortly after it. My wife calls me old in a teasing manner which just makes me laugh more inside when I think of how good it is to just get older after coming so close to death aged 30. \n\nI see my life in decades as generally, I was living somewhere different in all the 3 I have experienced. My childhood is as innocent as they can get, my teens were my awkward phase, and my 20’s were like my turbulent years of ups and downs with the up’s turning around my life from dead-end jobs to working in my dream career as a 3D artist. \n\nThe lows of my 20’s would be the ridicules matters of the heart that were weighed down by anxiety caused by the then unknown brain tumour. At 32 I could finally look back from a position of stability with my marriage and home ownership. \n\nThe final 5 years of my 20’s seemed to have warped in space-time from what felt like a fork in the road bitterly painful matter of the heart in March 2013 with a date that went amazing and ended with promises for a second in 2 weeks. (Then aged 26 undiagnosed Phil) felt like not just an entirely different person to me at 32, but a person that genuinely no longer exists and could not be replicated in any way for the rest of my life.\n \n![thumbnail_20130320_152833.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmbmoaptBVwhi4QEQpKtyQXafFqo23DTHqhPsGkZgffUoA/thumbnail_20130320_152833.jpg)\nWith it feeling like something that happened last week, the whole concept of time was starting to feel like something I will end up questioning on a daily basis until my dying day. My mind just could not make sense of how it had been 5 years since I had driven home from a date with limitless excitement and wonder for it to just turn into pounding heartbreak and rejection a few days later on the grounds that I was \"too nice\". \n\nFor my own sanity I had to get by during the first few years after that telling myself it was just 1 date and only seemed unique and wonderful out of my own minds projection like a psychedelic trip that had fooled me into thinking it was just part of reality. \n\nThe very stark division where almost everything froze when turning 30 from an incredible end to my 20’s provided me with the assurance that even where I had been rejected in my past and made to feel very insignificant or weak, was well and truly disproven at my own will endurance. \n\nThis was because now 2 years since the brain cancer diagnosis, I knew that I had to of been a strong man in many ways just to get where I was. I felt good knowing I no longer needed to have a chip on my shoulder that I must prove I am strong when I had already been tested to destruction and I got myself through it to a stage where I could rebuild my life, slowly get back my independence and be the best husband I can be to my wife Nicky. \n\nA major step stone to achieving this was that bitterly cold February of 2018 which had 3 major events on my calendar. The first being my 2nd 6th month MRI, the second attending my first protest at London’s parliament to support the cannabis community which had provided the medicine that was keeping me going. The 3rd would awkwardly be that the MRI results would be after the protest. \n \n![Patients at Parliament.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmTiSjUinm8JZmAgvRynCfF4mRHQo5VRgUAktLFNgUpNza/Patients%20at%20Parliament.png)\nThis meant I had to attend Patients at Parliament to support the 2nd reading of the Elizabeth Brice Bill, without knowing if I was still a walking testimony of how important the intentions of the cannabis community are. \n\nI travelled down with a local friend who at the time was the chairmen of the North Wales Cannabis Social Club. Having just paid out a load of money to the greedy Leasehold Company miss-sold with our house contract, I had to put all our travel expenses on credit. Luckily London’s tube system now accepted credit card with contactless payment. \n\nWhen we got to the protest area in Westminster we were greeted first by the chairmen of the UKCSC Greg De Hoedt and Teesside’s Michael Fisher. \n \n![Greg&Mike.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaF9Hb29VcVfLLyjQAwYgcM3HwKxiLe42mFr1VwMyMXKV/Greg&Mike.png)\nI had hit it off quite well with Greg because like me he had also once been told he would die soon but unlike my brain cancer diagnosis, he was battling crohn's disease which he was also surviving thanks to cannabis. \n\nAs a result, we were both very passionate about the cause because we knew directly that our success is the difference between life and death for many that support the UKCSC and rely on the regulated market being set up by the many UKCSC approved clubs up and down the country. \n\n![Deryn&Phil.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmf9hvrLCWDVYopEty6k94AEHmMprMagwMvYy9d3C2etfA/Deryn&Phil.png)\nNext, I finally got to meet Deryn Blackwell AKA The Boy in 7 Billion, the book by his mother Callie who had saved her son from a very rare form of leukaemia thanks to cannabis when he was slipping away after several conventional treatments had failed. \n \nFor me, it was inspiring to talk to him because his experience with serious diseases had clearly been more turbulent than mine but his recovery had been so much of a Lazarus effect that you couldn’t tell he had once been so close to death the way he looks today. \n \n![Phil&Callie.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYKpstmR5ynVYeMxg8Zk4Qn6LTq8WsKkynt5pKuUtrJfA/Phil&Callie.png)\nLike his mother and father, he was also very intelligent and thoughtful like many of the other humanistic characters I have met in the cannabis community.   \n\nHis mother Callie who was dressed as a suffragette on the day to add a poignant reminder that back, when the suffragettes were fighting for the basic rights got women to vote, they still had access to cannabis back then as a medicine. \n\nBut today mothers of children afflicted with serious diseases have again for the government but this time just for access to cannabis to treat their children if they are ill.   \n\nMy respect for Callie and her family goes quite deep because during the time in 2016 before I had any clear scans, she was the only person being brave enough to put herself on TV and be open about the truth regarding cannabis from what I saw during that time. \n\nI also knew after learning about her story saving her son’s life that I was now fully sure that I wanted to be a parent myself so that I could bring someone into the world and raise them with a higher intelligence than the average UK parent that has no reason to wake up to such truths or at worst bask in the ignorance and snobbery that prohibition encourages. \n\nIn many ways, the people I was meeting at this event were displaying a movement of people that were getting back on track with human evolution. They all collectively display a higher level of intelligence because they are literally forced to in order to outsmart the oppression from prohibition. \n\nMany people right off these cannabis events as “just a group of hippies that want to get high”. But this couldn’t be further from reality. Prohibition relies on using junk science as propaganda which forces the whole debate to evolve around science so you would be lucky to find someone in the cannabis community that doesn’t know about the endo-cannabinoid system. \n\nThis necessity for the movement to know what it’s talking about in regards to the science of cannabis is why they now routinely run rings around prohibitionists in tv debates because they are now reduced to exposing that they either oppose cannabis because they are illiberal snobs about the smell or that they have some sort of money interest in prohibition.\n \n![Cimpa&Phil.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXbCAKMk9qcxkDSmbe5de4oAjjE8PcdG6U5bYJh6QdaEY/Cimpa&Phil.png)\nOne of the people I met for the first time that I consider one of the most intellectual and passionate activists, was Simpa Carter. I say this because although I see many familiar faces at cannabis events, Simpa makes a lot of effort to keep a good deal of online media flowing whether its Live videos or general podcasts. \n\nThis is important for me because I believe the future of the war on drugs is going to be resolved via online media rather than tv media which is no longer as influential as independent media thanks to a new generation that are growing up with access to the internet at all stages of their lives growing up. \n\nSo its thanks to people like Simpa and Tyler Green from the I-smoke magazine channel that I am much more optimistic about the future being won by the cannabis community. They get that the younger generations are going to be harder for the establishment to brainwash with the propaganda which has put such a divide between the cannabis community and the elderly. \n \n![Phil&Jeff.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYKVxBd6r9TVBTm9bf4uwFTiCHFiwUwcc4PMPz6bNhSzT/Phil&Jeff.png)\nAnother brilliant experience that day was meeting Jeff Ditchfield from Bud Buddies who wrote the book my parents got me at the last Christmas, called The Medical Cannabis Guide Book. \n\nBy the time I met him at the protest, I was almost halfway through the book which had already blown me away with just how much it had taught me and inspired me on why homegrown is something we all need to fight for. \n\nI first became aware of Jeff and Bud Buddies when I finally got to see the BBC Three documentary I took part in. Watching that showed me that Bud Buddies were putting humanity before the corrupt law that prohibits cannabis. \nI was in awe to learn they travel up and down the country providing cannabis oil to the parents of dying children after conventional medicine had failed them.  \n\nBy about 4 we had been given an update from parliament that the bill was not going to be read and voted on because there had been a filibuster by a Labour MP who did not support our community. \n\nThis was very disappointing because not only had it wasted all the time and money of the many chronically ill protestors that showed up to support the bill, but the fact that it was a bill proposed by Labour MP Paul Flynn.  \n \nI knew that I couldn’t leave without putting my inhibitions aside and doing my first ever bit of public speaking by getting up on the stage and speaking to the crowd as to why I was there and why it was so important for us to continue to fight prohibition. \n\n![28238759_1996786723670796_2400525650754096964_o.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmNciqYL7yHrpSy7dpAGbugqb8H2XemN4f3Kj1qyTUL6N7/28238759_1996786723670796_2400525650754096964_o.jpg)\nWhen I was standing there it felt like above all I had to get across not just how cannabis had been my miracle saviour from an early death due to brain cancer, but how it could happen to anyone else. I ended by shouting that “all of your lives are more important than the profits of corporatists”. \n\nI said this because the filibuster was another example of how our community is constantly oppressed by the powerful but it’s more important that we ignore their laws that oppress us and simply put the good of humanity above them. \n\n2 days later I had my 7th clear scan which enabled me to request my driving license back, so I was able to celebrate despite the disappointment from Parliament.
