| title | THIS EVENT IN BRITAIN WILL HIT OUR CHERISHED BITCOIN AND SHAKE THE STOCK MARKET |
| body | We have all followed the trend, we have watched this supercoin spiral into the clouds and followed it as it hits rock bottom. Let me predict this after careful assessment of this asset that a great event will send this golden coin to less than $15, 000 dollars before the turn of April. Think about this: What will be the greatest event that could hit the entire globe with surprise above what covid did and continues to do? Look no further, the clue lies in the United Kingdom. I know many would say who is this writer and what is he trying to say? But you see, not everything/everyone will feed you with all the information required to open you up for understanding. You can hook up for this event to know how to invest. THE STOCK MARKET WILL BE HIT WITH THIS SURPRISE PACKAGE TOO. Wow, insight is good, knowledge is priceless. Many who understand how to use this event will amass millions, how I wish I knew how to move this to my favour. YOU CAN EMAIL ME FOR MORE INFO: [email protected]. |

| title | SAVING THE PRESIDENT (SERIES) |
| body | CHAPTER ONE (AT THE MELTON GALLERY) The only remaining matchstick Ariel scrambled to locate was now buried in the shrewdness of the pitch darkness that invaded the souls that traveled through the long-abandoned gallery. The once extraordinary gallery that boasted of antique books, rare to come by, has now become an arid place devoid of the sound of men. A century ago, it teemed with creatures of men from all walks of life who came to pay their way through to have a feel of the books that gave the Melton Gallery its global voice. But now, it stands empty, the books ebbing into isolation with not a single soul to touch them let alone peruse them. ‘Count five steps from where you stand, toward your left arm, and genuflect as though to kiss the ring of a pope, reflect on the median between the top of your head and the tip of your left toe. You will find what you’re looking for.’ A slow but shrill voice broke through the darkness, instructing Ariel on what to do. ‘Who are you, and where am I?’ Ariel inquired as he obeyed the instructions of the voice. The room was silent but for the sound of mice mauling at something known only to them. He did exactly as he was instructed and was terrified by what his fingers kicked against; the matchstick. ‘How were you able to tell exactly where the matchstick fell, who are you, what do you want with me, why am I here and how did I get here?’ A deep fear he had not felt before took over and almost shut his entire body down. ‘My name is Thanes, and I’m about to save your life.’ The voice broke out again but in a tone that emitted a feeling of sadness. ‘You’ve now Lucifer to light your darkness, make sure you don’t waste the inspiration he gives you.’ The shrill voice echoed against the walls of the dark gallery. Ariel had a love for words but he hated them when they came to him in cryptic forms. He is not an expert in deciphering hideous speeches but he understood the voice meant the matchstick he had helped him pick from the ground. He also understood lucifer in some places is referred to as, ‘the bringer of light’. With this in mind, he struck the match and was happy to find a lantern on a bookshelf. The lantern for the looks of how web-crusted it had become needed the flames to smile again, a gift he happily gave out. Ariel looked at the bookshelves that graced the two sides of the long gallery and marveled at the books they contained. Almost every bookshelf was packed to capacity with books of different shapes and sizes. He is the President of the Meridian State and has been to many renown libraries across the Meridian State capital but none comes a grain close to what his eyes were now fixed upon. He was startled by the shadow of a figure which overshadowed him; a figure of a man standing in between him and the largest of the bookshelves, with an umbrella tucked under his right arm and a shotgun in the other. He wore a very timid face, and as though reflecting on the genetic makeup of the president, he stared deep in Ariel’s face. The man turned away but beckoned the president to follow him and he tagged along uncertain what would become of him if he tends to disobey. He followed the man as they descended a staircase into a room so small for three men to fit into; the room was carved for only two people. He bade Ariel sit down and offered him a drink which Ariel took and gulped down in no time. He was fatigued by something he would relish the opportunity to have a clue of. ‘I’m saving your life today, Mr President.’ the man said as he placed three voluminous antique books in front of Ariel. The first book had an inscription written boldly on the spine, ‘tareeka vedea maseeta’, which the man translated as ‘the order of the masons’. The writer was unknown. But the looks of the book and the writings date it back to the age of antiquity. The second book bore the title, ‘We Saw Isabella Flee’ which places the content of the book somewhere in the time of the Spanish inquisition. The author was Augusto Romero Sento… The last name had a part of it scratched, it appeared someone intentionally did that to cover up a mess created. The last book had no cover and the language used was not in the achieves of modern discoveries. The president looked at the three books and asked what Thanes wanted with him. Thanes who had sat on a chair made of marble stone, artistically shaped to reflect the paintings in the room said nothing but nodded as though in affirmation to something the president should have said. ‘My people will locate me soon and it wouldn’t be pleasant for you. Let me go, and enjoy your peace while you can. You know I’m the president of the Meridian State and when they get a clue of my missing, they will throw every arsenal at their disposal to find me. And I can promise you, it wouldn’t take twenty minutes for them to locate this place and tear it down.’ Ariel for the first time spoke as the charismatic and fearless president he had been in the Torrington office. ‘You’ve been here for two hours, Mr President.’ Thanes said briskly.’ ‘What do you mean I’ve been here two hours? Ten minutes ago, I was in bed with the first lady, and I quiet remember the discussion we had on the nukes our intelligence intercepted which you probably might have heard or seen on the news.’ Ariel spoke, not believing what Thanes said. ‘Mr. President, I wouldn’t waste time explaining that to you, but take my word for it. We drugged you right in your bed with tinochromes to cast you into a dreamy state. The chemical is what has made you weak. Now, listen to me Mr President, today marks your 45th birthday and the final you would have celebrated had I not intervened. It took me three months, a week, three days, six hours, twenty-two minutes and fifteen seconds to work out this plan to get you here. I tried several times to get the message to you but I failed in all of them. One time I came close but was wrestled out by one of your damned men. I’ve never liked those muscled mutants. I’m a savant, and my time on earth is as unsure as King Arthurs’s bane. I’ve devoured all the books in the capital and out of boredom chose to follow my dog wherever he led me. It was four months ago that my dog led me to this cave of a place, only for me to witness this massive colossus of books which made the libraries at the state capital pale to insignificance. It took me three weeks to read all of them and another week to figure out the connections these three books share.’ He said as he picked one of the books. ‘Mr. president, a carefully orchestrated conspiracy from before the time our nation was born named you as our forty-fifth President in all of these books, and the message cryptically scripted in these almost prophetic books seem to echo the phrase, ‘slay the forty-fifth ruler’ and ‘slay him on his forty-fifth human existence.’ This is the simplest of interpretations I could decipher the books to.’ Thanes ended panting, as he gulped down the soda drink, he had poured into a mug, draining it to the dregs as fast as he could. Series of thoughts raced through the mind of Ariel as he considered how porous the security in the Torrington office had become for such a raving mad man as this to have cooked a plan so well to kidnap the president right in his bed. ‘What language is it that that book has?’ Ariel broke free from his thoughts and asked Thanes for an answer. ‘Well, I don’t know, but all I know is that it makes sense to me when I read through it.’ Thanes replied. It was four months ago that my dog led me to this cave of a place, only for me to witness this massive colossus of books which made the libraries at the state capital pale to insignificance. \n\nIt took me three weeks to read all of them and another week to figure out the connections these three books share.’ He said as he picked one of the books. ‘Mr. president, a carefully orchestrated conspiracy from before the time our nation was born named you as our forty-fifth President in all of these books, and the message cryptically scripted in these almost prophetic books seem to echo the phrase, ‘slay the forty-fifth ruler’ and ‘slay him on his forty-fifth human existence.’ This is the simplest of interpretations I could decipher the books to.’ Thanes ended panting, as he gulped down the soda drink, he had poured into a mug, draining it to the dregs as fast as he could. ‘Well, I don’t know, but all I know is that it makes sense to me when I read through it.’ Thanes replied.\n\nTO BE CONTINUED...",

| title | How Could this be a Scam, I mean SOCIAL BOUNTY and ETERNITY? |
| body | We all wanna make some few bucks here and there. We spend time testing apps, doing surveys, referring people to sites who crave for their presence, etc. Recently someone convinced me to register for a site, complete some tasks, earn money and added, 'you will thank me later'. Well, it was pretty much convincing... I gave it a try and was shocked. I watched some YouTube videos to check its validity and I got a double-sided representation of the 'scam alert'. So I pushed through to try and reach the cash out zone to test it myself... but I stopped short, thought to myself, 'why do we still go on, persistently strive to get these few bucks but fail to persistently endeavor to question our existence; is that all there is to this life, is there really an afterlife, is there anything at all beyond this life...? After this I went on, continued to reach the target with the view cashing out regardless... It was a waste of time, money and resources. I didn't get to thank this dude for a seemingly legitimate gift of a link to this site he gave me. Take a little time to find out about the afterlife, eternity is too long a time to meddle with. The question now is, someone might chip in, 'why did you write this article, is it not because you want an upvote or downvote or a few bucks given you?' Probably or probably not. I've posted a host of articles here to get some few buck myself but I want us to think... think... If there is really something beyond this life then we ought to be careful, balance our lives well and invest in our eternity. And I'm afraid there is... there is. This was the site he made me waste my time on: Ecclesiastes 7:18 It is good that you grasp this, And also not remove your hand from the other; For he who fears God will avoid all extremes. Blend you quest for bucks with your mind set on eternity. My take. |

| body | We walked beyond toddlers To see a section of it A listless tribe thriving on pottery-doubts And the broad-core of pinecone plantation With irons under their feet They trampled underfoot thorns on barefoot We saw them scale walls to offset the agile greens And into the farthest reached the deep to brave the wild barons They return unscathed, untouched by the crippling swamp Their spoils lighted fires that smothered deep into the moon And there we sat bathing our teeth in fat and cooked blood And there our minds lusted after our fading dreams When we braved it to last, our seas brought to its shores Creatures ironed to paper-size by thoughts Which echoed ‘Crust of void beyond’ They paled to doom against the darkness our bodies unleashed They were exotic creatures without skins even though they moved as we did Our buttocks suck sounds and stuck Amidst the mysterious phrases of the tales told by these femme fatales But we dreaded to let loose the winds our bowels fought to keep Their entrance nurtured our hatred Even though we couldn’t resist their basic cunnings They got us enrolled so we could be controlled They ended it for us so we would be led like sightless yobbos ‘Enrolled’ meant to genuflect under control For before you got enrolled, you might have been controlled Either by sheer fun or dreary-fear In our case the latter prevailed, caging our history’ They swarmed around our greenish fields Like genetically-immutable bees, eating up our girlish faces In pantaloons, they brought the clue of our nakedness… ‘I hate that literacy’ For we relished the moments when we saw shyness a slain, around naked creatures 31-MAY-2013 LITERARY APPRECIATION OF THE POEM, ‘BROAD DAY SLAVERY’ INTRODUCTION The poem ‘Broad Day Slavery’, written by Barnie Sarpong Freeman, is in all likelihood, about the theme of one recounting the intricacies of the slavery of Africans. The eight-stanza poem written in free verse is about an expression of regret and frustration of a first-hand eyewitness (the persona) of the invasion of the whites and the exploits they wreaked on the people, somewhere in Africa. The poem recounts the oppression they (the native people) suffered as the Whites introduced to them a culture which sought to replace their most cherished native culture. It could be argued out that the time is set somewhere between the early 15th century and the late 18th century, in the time of Africa’s colonialism. SUBJECT MATTER / THEME The theme: An imposed slavery countervails the norms of the enslaved and oppresses their right to emancipation is derived from the subject matter: the complicacy and absurdity of an imposed slavery. The poet chose this sensitive subject matter to address the many forms of slavery that cripple and frustrate the progress of the enslaved. He takes his time to guide the reader through the stages of oppression they had to go through and the variety of native practices they had to abolish to pave the way to the new and exotic ones. The persona addresses the difficulty of embracing a new culture whose very operation and nature he disdains. He refers to this new introduction as ‘mysterious phrases of tales’ as reflected in line four of the fourth stanza. STRUCTURE The first three stanzas explain the account of the native people as they are seen ‘thriving’ in their land, exploiting and enjoying the many natural gifts nature endowed them with. The poem begins with an expression which seeks to illustrate the stage of growth the eyewitness (persona) is at with regard to the thought processes of man. ‘We walked beyond toddlers’, in stanza one line one, seeks to draw a link to the fact that the eyewitness was mature enough to have seen and kept details of the Whites’ invasion, placing a premium on the account he recounts next. The persona recounts the rest of the five stanzas, the nature of their suffering, and with his frustration, unleashes his regrets and anger on the system these foreign invaders introduced. His frustration is fueled by the thought that they (the native people) almost had it all before these ‘exotic creatures without skins’ invaded their land. This reflects in his tone in line one of stanza four and fuels the next lines to the closing stanza. He states: ‘When we braved it to last, our seas brought to its shores’. The poet uses enjambment in the first four lines (quatrain) of stanza one and an equivalent use in almost all of the stanzas except stanza five and the eighth stanza which are in a (quintain) form. The lines run-on into the next, giving the poem a river-flow and smooth transiency of reading. DICTION AND STYLE The poem is one that is written in a straightforward but complex language. It is predominantly in the simple past time, to suggest a simple and straight forward series of actions that took place when the Whites invaded these native people. The persona's choice of words for describing the frustration in a time of slavery (howbeit harsh) is appropriate. For clarity of atmosphere and setting, he uses everyday words like ‘greenish fields’, ‘seas… shore’, ‘plantation’. And to describe the complexities and absurdity of the slavery, the persona hides behind complex expressions like, ‘femme fatales’, ‘…genetically-immutable bees.’ The persona then puts it clear that the ideals, nature, and operations of the Whites were in sharp opposition to theirs by stating that, ‘They paled to doom against the darkness our bodies unleashed’. The persona’s reflection on the slavery account exposes a weakness common to humanity; embracing change. when he states the last lines of the last stanza: ‘I hate that literacy’ and ‘We relished the moments when we saw shyness a slain, around naked creatures’, he emphasized his weakness to dealing with the change which the Whites introduced. ‘Literacy’ here implies that the persona was exposed to a system of change which sought to belittle his own by subjecting the latter to light and scrutiny, but he chose to ‘relish’ his own which he speaks of as one in the past; one done away with by these invaders. He states these last two lines of the last stanza which is subtly woven into the narrative to create a lasting impression of the static and resolved stands he places on his native practices against what the Whites introduced. The style is mostly descriptive but it appears as one narrating an event. So, the style follows after a descriptive narrative. MOOD The mood of the persona is filtered through the narrative as one of anger, hatred, regret, and frustration, ‘Their entrance nurtured our hatred’ The persona expresses his frustration where he cites an instance of a practice, which as young kids, they engaged in and were not harshly reprimanded or if there was a reprimand, a soft one. He continues by expressing his thoughts which seem to echo that they feared to engage in those practices in the midst of the Whites. A practice which was hitherto safe or somehow safe is no more convenient in the midst of these foreign invaders and their ‘literacy’: ‘Our buttocks sucked sounds and stuck Amidst the mysterious phrases of the tales told by these femme fetales But we dreaded to let loose the winds our bowels fought to keep.’ TONE And the persona speaks with a harsh tone, one of discontentment, a as though he is in a perpetual dissatisfaction with the new trend of events ‘They got us enrolled so we could be controlled They ended it for us so we would be led like sightless yobbos.’ The images the persona uses is intentionally placed to appeal to our senses of sight and touch in stanza two and three to draw us closer to his narrative forcefully. FIGURES OF SPEECH The poet uses figurative language to enhance the beauty of description and to create a better image. In line one and two of the last stanza, he uses simile to create a scene of how these invaders came in droves to inflict their culture on another’s and also to communicate how they chanced upon the most energetic of all that these native people had, despoiling everything and leaving nothing behind. ‘They swarmed around our greenish fields Like genetically-immutable bees, eating up our girlish faces.’ PARADOX He uses a paradox in the first two lines of the second stanza to paint a clear picture of the nature of the people that these invaders met; fearless and unashamed people content with their biological and material makeup, ‘With irons under their feet They trampled underfoot thorns on barefoot’ HYPERBOLE Line two of stanza three is exaggerated when the fires lighted, ‘…smothered deep into the moon’. With this statement, the persona states the merriment of the occasion when their brave ones return from hunting. They so enjoy their spoils; the game they bring home ‘…bathing our teeth in fat and cooked blood’ that their joy lingers deep into the night ‘…smothered deep into the moon’. PERSONIFICATION In line two of stanza three, ‘spoils’ is given a human’s attribute to light fire. Spoils is used out of its traditional sense to refers to the games they hunt in the wild. The spoils were good and tempting to be fed on. They were those that called for fires to be lighted. IMAGERY This poem has solid imagery. The image of slavery, native culture, hunting, and gathering. That images are so revealing that not only is the reader sent back in time to brood on the colonial era but to also crave for the idyll life of the past when all was green and virgin. SOUND PATTERNS AND RHYME The poem is written in free verse, therefore, has no strict rhythmic pattern or specific rhyme scheme. However, it could be said that some words used in succession in some of the lines may have been deliberately chosen to enhance possibly, the flow and beauty of the poet’s intention and craft, as they form their own internalized rhythmic patterns, giving the poem a musical feel between the lines: ‘Tribe thriving’ ‘…unscathed, untouched’ ‘…sucked sounds and stuck’ ‘They got us enrolled so we could be controlled’ ‘For before you got enrolled, you might have been controlled’ Reading this poem, one needs to note the intensity that drives the persona’s choice of words in describing his native people (from stanza one to three) and when he shifts to commenting on the foreign invaders (from four to eight). CONCLUSION This poem could always pass as a good poem. It is worth reading for what it stands for. It represents the frustrations, suffering, and pain some people go through when their freedom is curtailed. And the effect some cultures have on others when there is a superimposing of one on another. It deals with a very sensitive subject; emancipation from slavery of all forms. The theme of slavery and the subject matter, the colonization of an African tribe by the Whites cast our minds to the time of colonialism and the impact it had on the people. ENJOY THIS POEM |

Wǒ zài bàngōngshì gōngzuò, dāng yī míng péixùn xuéyuàn de xuéshēng zǒu jìnlái, wèn wǒ shìfǒu kěyǐ bāngzhù tā huídá lǎoshī duì tāmen tíchū de wèntí. | title | MY CRYPTO JOURNEY SCREENSHOTS (YOU OWE IT TO STEEMIT, DON’T YOU?) |
| body | Crypto lovers are scouring over the internet in search of safe passage or refuge to amass a little or more to better their lives. Some make it quick because of their indebt knowledge in the things of Crypto and others are scared away by the numerous tasks involved in earning the currency. Bitcoin to some is a hell brimming over with an inferno so deadly they would give everything to wake up from their sleep when Bitcoin is mentioned. I spent two years amassing the currency in my spare time and below is the result of the many hours of hard labor I spent gathering: IN MY EXODUS WALLET: MY BITCOIN WALLET ADDRESS: 1MEGkTJjSbkrignDkZw7cQVEG1PtYAGcte I connected my exodus wallet to BLOCKCAIN and I was gifted with $25 worth of stellar after submitting a couple of information. Below is the screenshot: THIS IS MY OVERALL BALANCE ON THE BLOCKCHAIN: All my cryptocurrencies came from different places: adbtc, coinpot, cryptotab and timebucks. Below is a caption of how I stand to gain sooner or later in my crypto journey at the time of this writing (25/05/2019): adbtc: coinpot: cryptotab: My cryptotab link: https://get.cryptobrowser.site/174867 Timebucks: A week or two ago, I watched a youtube video by (NotTaught At School) and I was introduced to STEEMIT and BountyOx I registered for these sites and waited for STEEMIT's confirmation email which I received. And I set the ball rolling. I have submitted 11 tasks of which one has been confirmed successfully. Below is a screenshot: My BountyaOx referral link: https://beta.bounty0x.io/register?referral=c59803 I have submitted a couple of articles on steemit, and even though some are not doing too well, one has an upvote of 42 and has been gifted with $0.24. I hope for the best though. This is my second post on crypto, but this is one of a heart to heart article. I want to end my crypto journey here in the hands of the two from (Not Taught At School): STEEMIT and BountyOx and hope for the best. Thanks for reading this article. My name is B. S. FREEMAN and I am your crypto friend. |
