Today we will cover one of those rights and its many forms and the many ways it can be violated.\n\nNatural Law, God’s Law…broken down simply means; Natural: Inherent; basis in Nature, reality and truth; not made or caused by humankind.  Law: An existing condition which is binding and immutable (cannot be changed).  Now to violate these laws a living being or their property has to be harmed or damaged, if you can act without doing so, this is a right.\n\nThe truth is an important right, because without it you rob a person of the facts and by doing so, you are robbing them of the right to make a decision based on those facts. Now to some of you that my not seem like a big deal.  Some times it may not be. Let’s take a look at it from the perspective of the lie, the receiver of the lie and what some of the outcomes of said lie could be.\n\nAn out right lie is just that. When a woman accuses a man of rape 99.9% of the time he goes to jail. If this is a lie, and it does happen more than you realize, that man is deprived of his good name, his freedom, possibly his family, his children and his home…you get the picture.  The accuser, by lying has denied him his Natural God given right freedom.\n\nYou may think that if you lie to someone and they never find out there is no harm no foul.  Wrong.  Look at it this way.\n\n**There is an old couple that has a storage unit, one day this storage unit gets broken into and a lifetime of precious belongings gets stolen.  The couple dies before the theft is discovered.  Does it make the theft right or any less of a violation of their rights to their property? Absolutely not. A lie, even undiscovered, is still a violation of the right to know the truth.\n\nThe excuse “what they don’t know won’t hurt them” or “it is for their own good” is frequently used to justify a lie of omission. Keeping something from someone robs them of knowledge, and who are you to decide what will and will not hurt someone; what gives you the right to decide for that person? You are violating their right to choose. Another lie of omission is not speaking the truth when a lie is being told in your presence. Again, you are robbing the hearer of the knowledge of the truth, and yes, this can and will hurt them, maybe not right away but eventually it will.\n\nThe last type of lie I am going to address is something that many people do and encompasses many things including but not limited to: exaggerating the truth, making things sound worse/better than they truly are, insinuating things about people without actually saying it and twisting other peoples words.  I know many in this fight for freedom have experienced this first hand but I am going to leave you with an example as well.\n\n**I recently had an encounter with someone who appeared to be really helpful with their heart in the right place offering exactly what was needed for me at the time it was needed.  It was a precise answer to prayer.  So, a move was made on the assurances of this offer and that no matter what I would be taken care of; only to find upon making said move that it was all a very inflated version of the truth. Upon further inquiry there were many other exaggerations told to me by this person.  Not only did this put me in a much worse financial situation but it hurt my heart deeply as I truly had grown close to and trusted this person.  To make things worse, when this person was approached about it twice now, this person has deflected onto others saying he was told something else. Which was not what was told to me earlier on. You see lies tend to get bigger and bigger in a web shape as you have to keep telling more to cover up the previous one and if you don’t remember what you said before…you get caught in that web yourself.\n\nThe lie/exaggeration itself violated my God given right to the truth but the consequences of that lie are extreme financial distress impacting the way I chose to live my life and putting my health at much greater risk than it already was. Just the opposite of what I was trying to achieve.\n\nSo you see, though many do not see how a lie, no matter how big or small is a violation of someones Natural God given rights, it can have a big impact. The right to Truth is, in my opinion, one of the worst rights that you can violate because without the truth you cannot make decisions that will not harm yourselves.\n\nAs in my situation, had the full truth been told, no embellishments to make it sound better than it was, nothing omitted, the decision to go forward would not have been made and no harm would have been caused.  I often wonder if this person has looked at things from my perspective.  Instead of saving money to fight the battles I face, I’m are losing it. Instead of improving my living situation, it has become worse. Would this person like this done to them?\n\nThe truth sometimes can be hard to tell but it is always the right thing to do, you never have to remember what you said because the truth just is.  You never have to worry about someone not trusting you because you have lied to them, now, they may be angry at you because you told the truth…but they will hopefully get over it, if not were they worth having in your life?  I would rather die knowing that I was honest and have my Father in Heaven smile at me, at a life well lived, then the alternative.\n\nWe must start to practice and protect the smallest of our Natural God given rights in order to restore all of them.       "body": "Guess what? This should probably be a piece but it is much to personal for that and it is 3 a.m. in the morning so it will be a bit raw and lacking loving tact. My mama used to tell that honesty is great but some tact in certain situations can take the sting away. Well, I am really not caring who this stings right now because I have been so \"stung\" that for over a week now I have been on the verge of tears, confused and now I am up at 3 a.m. \n\nEver since I have gotten into this patriot constipation (because there really is no movement people...that WILL be a piece because many have yet to awake to a very REAL truth) I have quickly learned that my soft heart, my trusting personality, and my giving nature really have no place except for a very few. Now I am finding that maybe it just doesn't even belong there...that I should reserve it for just my family...and let me tell you my family is very small. \n\nI thought I had a very tiny circle that I could trust and count on, that I love dearly. A few of those fell away due to some misgivings by others, ok it happens. But others have completely cut me off and out before I even finished my full thoughts and concerns that are in my heart, out of love.\n\nWhen you go to a mutual friend, because you feel you have been shut down and disregarded, because someone dear to you did not like what you were starting to say, to discuss a concern. That is not going behind ones back...that is being concerned and getting a second opinion on how to approach the situation. That is not being disloyal, that is not backstabbing, that is not showing you DON'T want what is best for someone. That is getting a second opinion on something you feel is a sensitive subject when the person you have approached is on the defense for some unknown reason and is not being understanding. \n\nIf we as people, as PATRIOTS, can't hear things we may not like to hear without being on the defense from people that care about us with an open mind, then how are we to hear what others that may be on the opposing side or on the fence has to say, take that information and use it to our advantage.\n\nWhat are you to do when perhaps that mutual friend says they agree with your concerns but decides to play devil's advocate and turns to this precious person in your life, making what you have said sound bad or damaging when in fact it was not (which is what I suspect in this case). What do you do when you KNOW your actions were not from evil or devious intent but from a pure heart, yet your discernment is telling you it got twisted into something less than such. I know even the bible says this is to happen in end times but really people! You are supposed to have each other's backs? You are supposed to talk to each other BEFORE assuming that something was actually said or done!\n\nYou see it seems to me some of you are acting no better than the corrupt government that you are trying to break free from. Taking a small bit of truth a twisting is so horribly that it is unrecognizable. When are you going to stop?\n\nI have to tell you, I was thrown into this and tempered with fire. I withstood pretty well. I then was put under extreme pressure, some of which you all will never know. It is the personal trials in this thing that are the hardest, because it is when it hits this close to the heart when it really hurts, it is when you are so close to giving up anyway, and someone doesn't even believe in you enough to talk to you, that you just don’t think ANYONE in this patriot constipation has any personal intestinal fortitude. Oh sure, they may be able to shoot, they may be able to fight, organize events...but are they able to withstand the true storms of talking to people that have been standing there speaking hard truths? Meaning things that may be hard to hear, but are said with love. Maybe the hard truths are evolving and changing, and that is a great thing, but does that mean that the intent of someone was not from a place of truth and reality, maybe the changes have not yet been proven and it is prudent for time to be taken for them to be proven. It is these times, when life has kicked you to its lowest, you feel very alone, surrounded by like minded people for the most part, yet you hope and pray you are the next one to water the tree of liberty so that you do not have to watch this crazy circus any longer. Too many patriots have stated this...\n\nI am beginning to think you don't make ANY true friends in this war, that people only use you for who you know, who they can meet, who you can get information to...etc. Good Lord knows there are many, many, footprints on my already broken back and spirit.\n\nHeck, I hardly get to talk to the friend I came into this with, I only talk to one of my friends I fought so hard for on a regular basis, and now this, if we are not fighting this fight for family and friends then what the heck are we fighting it for? \n\nMilitias, III%, Preppers, Constitutional Groups, The Resistance...all nothing if you can't even keep your personal friendships together by being open to hear what you may not like, asking your friends about things before assuming and working at your interrelationship skills, working to understand things better from another's perspective and putting your ego and the idea that everyone is out to get you aside, maybe listening to the \"why's\" of things.\n\nIf you can't take the time to stop and talk to each other and solve issues and get the truth, if you can't take the time out to reach out and keep your friendships alive, then how are you going to keep your freedom you do have (which is a sliver of nothing), how are you going to break the system of corruption if you don't quit breaking yourselves? \n\nBoiling it down to simpler terms, time to put on the big boy and girl pants, put your selfish, egotistical attitudes away and start actually listening to each other, if you haven’t noticed shit is getting real, shouldn’t you?",

      "body": "I also met Ryan on my second day at the Resource Center.  He is much quieter than Ammon, but he has a big presence.  I have to admit; if I am to be honest (no offense Ryan) when I first walked in to the building used as headquarters his “bigness” was intimidating.\n\nNow, wait a minute, let me explain.  I don’t mean the man is gigantic or immense…the aura he put of was large, confident, and a touch more “rough wrangler” feeling.  His hat is worn a bit lower than Ammon’s casting a shadow over his face…but, when he tilts his head up, do want to know what you see, even as a stranger?  You see the eyes of a kind man, a man who is of faith and a man who stands firm in that faith, for what is right and most of all for family…but not just that, a man that loves thy neighbor.\n\nHe too knelt with reverence and humility when we prayed and you could tell that he too put all of his faith in the Lord, trusted in His will and not that of his own.  I have to say Mr. and Mrs. Bundy must be very proud of both of these men.\n\nDuring that impromptu interview I spoke of that occurred between Ammon and Maureen, Ryan was there and he sat comfortably (though I am not sure how with his frame and the size of the chair) and listened.  When he did speak it was with intelligence and fast in the knowledge of the constitution.  These brothers were no doubt a formidable team.\n\nAs we got ready to take our leave of the headquarters for the day, Ryan walked over to us and thanked us for coming with a warm smile and hug.  This man was gentle and loving to those around him, he too genuinely cared.  After this he moved on to talk business with a gentleman and he switched hats easily from host to respected leader…impressive.\n\nWhen I saw Ryan after that, he always had a wave and a smile for me…a tip of his hat, made me feel like a lady in those old westerns. Hahaha.\n\nOn our last day, I saw Ryan on our way out and told him that I would be back soon for another visit, he told me he looked forward to it and that he enjoyed meeting me.  He even remembered that I was doing a FB page for Hellboy and said he would be looking for it.   He gave me a hug, then a tip of the hat as I got back into my vehicle to go.  I drove away feeling like family.  Like I was leaving REAL brothers behind…as an only child, that was a pretty special feeling.  What cemented that even further for me, when I got home to WA 3 hours later, there was a friend request for me from Ryan.  They are a family that cares.  Really cares.\n\nIn the days that followed when I returned, I actually saw Ryan later in the day, after seeing Ammon, I wasn’t sure if I would see him with their busy schedule so I had given Ammon the scarf that was made for Ryan as well, he was wearing it!  He walked up to me and gave me a hug, asking me to thank my step-daughter for the scarf.  I introduced Matt, sadly we only had a few moments to talk.  He said that he would catch up with us later, but the day got away from us.  That is o.k.  I got to watch great things that day…the things that Ammon and Ryan…all the others had been standing for, working for and talking about, teaching about, they were coming to fruitation right before my eyes!  HISTORY IN THE MAKING!  Praise God.\n\nI didn’t get the chance to speak with Angie before I wrote this like I did Lisa, but I am guessing from his energy and demeanor that Ryan is about family.  I got the sense that he missed his wife and family very much, God’s partner for him.  In my opinion, it almost felt as if ½ of him was missing.  I hope that what I write makes him proud, I hope it makes her proud…his family proud.  They have every right to be.\n\nWhen I heard what had happened, when I heard…when I heard…no…when I FELT what had happened…my heart stopped, my friends…ones that had entered my heart so easily, that God knew would…my new friends…no…my brothers and sisters…arrested, shot, hurt…\n\nPeople had to know…they had to know…Ryan Bundy, the man who got shot in the shoulder, this man had the biggest shoulders in the world, he would take his burdens, his neighbors, his friends…he did, he took all of ours, he took a whole country’s…not because we asked him to, but because he was doing as God asked, he was loving thy neighbor.  Thank you Ryan, I am proud to call you a fellow patriot, a fellow Christian…but most of all yes, my friend with the big shoulders.",

      "body": "The second day that I spent in Burns was so busy it was really quite a blur if I am to be honest. I know we got up and had time to get dressed, barely eat ½ an English muffin and it was out the door to the press conference.  Once again I find myself chasing Pete and Deb’s black SUV up the hill with Maureen beside me doing her Vlog, wondering to myself how Pete kept his truck so clean when mine looked so dirty…o.k. Melina, back to the task at hand.\n\nWe arrived at the entrance of the Resource Center and the press was all ready for Ammon to arrive.  This would be the first time that I would hear him speak in person.  He came walking up the hill with LaVoy and some men I didn’t recognize.  He walked up to the microphone and apologized for being late.\n\nWhen Ammon spoke everyone listened respectfully, no one spoke, even amongst themselves. He spoke with sincerity, from the heart.  He was highly educated and he was firm in his convictions.\n\nMaureen asked if we could have a few moments of his time to pray with him, and he smiled and said of course.  We went down to what was headquarters and met with him.  I was introduced to Ammon and Ryan, he was so genuinely happy that we came down to pray with him and to visit everyone.\n\nWhen it came to praying he asked if we could get on our knees before the Lord…amazing.  We all knelt on the floor before God and I took Ammon’s hand and we prayed for guidance and for the Lord’s leadership in the coming days.  After we prayed Maureen just asked how things were going and Ammon and her started talking, it turned into an impromptu interview, I was content to just listen, learn and be a human sponge for all the knowledge that this man has to offer.  He spoke with passion and conviction.\n\nHe mentioned the vets that gave him gifts, the ranchers, the gifts from family members of service members that gave their lives holding up the oath for the very constitution he is fighting for.\n\nHe mentioned to someone that he had not taken time to even eat that day, nor had Ryan; I offered to go get him some food from the chow hall.  He honestly did not want to put me out, I told himi t was not bother, so I went up and got them…some sandwiches, chips, and cookies.  They both looked so happy to have some food.\n\nWhat was supposed to be a few minutes of prayer turned into 3 hours of interview and fellowship.  I was able to give him a card from my step-daughter, one to Ryan as well.\n\nAmmon was so appreciative that she understood what was going on and what they were doing, because the freedoms he is fighting so hard for is not only for us but also for our children.  Our future.  He read her card and looked up and around the room and stated\n\n“This is what it is all about, this is our future”\n\nHe took a picture with me and her card for her, we chatted a bit more and then he had to get on with his day, but he made sure to let us know how glad he was to spend the time with us and that he would see us later.  He hugged us both and we left.\n\nI felt that I was leaving a man that I had known for YEARS!!!\n\nOver the course of the rest of the week Ammon made it a point to say hello to me each time that I was at the Resource Center.  I noticed that he always exuded a sense of calm and peace, no matter what was going on at the FBI Compound, what was being said about what was happening, if there were protestors…he knows he is lawful, in the right by the supreme law of the land and the even higher law of God.\n\nMy time in Burns came to an end and I said my goodbyes, I was told Ammon had gone home for a visit, so I gave Ryan a hug and asked him to pass it on to his brother as well.  He said he would.  I told him I would be back soon…I knew in my heart that I would not be able to stay away.  I would have to visit these wonderful people again.\n\nAs you know, 4 days I was back.  When I went to the Resource Center everyone was busy, it was a big day.  Many ranchers were coming to end their contracts with the BLM.  The Sharp family was going to sing, so many wonderful things to celebrate.\n\nPete, Deb, my husband and I walked into the chow hall and Ammon was getting something to eat before everything started and he paused what he was doing to give me a big hug.  He was genuinely happy to see me.  I was surprised that he remembered me with all the people that he meets, after all who am I? The first thing he did after hugging me was turn around showing me his coat with the rancher insignia on it “Look at what I got” He was beaming!  He is so proud of that coat.  They all are!\n\nThis time I had a scarf that my step-daughter made for him and he proudly accepted it and wore it, commenting that he matched with Pete.  I introduced him to my husband Matt and they chatted a bit about mechanics and where he was living now in Idaho.  He apologized profusely that he had to go but that he would give me a call later on in the week to talk with me about getting an organized way to get funds going for the patriots coming in and on the ground.  He was excited about my thoughts and ideas and that I wanted to tackle such a project on their behalf.\n\nWe all gathered at the gazebo at the Resource Center and watched as these ranchers signed agreements to end contracts with the BLM.\n\nAmmon stood up with extreme emotion in his voice and shared each and every gift that had been presented to him, shared each story behind it.  He prayed, he promised to stand behind each and every rancher who signed.\n\nWe all left the refuge that day with joy in our hearts.\n\nAs Matt and I drove back to the Silver Spur that evening, he understood my pull to Burns, OR.  He felt what I had felt from Ammon, that he is a man who listens to God with is heart, that he does not make a move without checking with the Almighty first and he lays his full trust in Him.\n\nAs I was getting ready to write this, I wanted to make sure it was o.k. with Lisa and see if there was something I could add, what Ammon did in his down time.  The funny thing is, she told me exactly what I though she would, that Ammon doesn’t really have down time.  He loves helping others and that is what he is about and what gives him joy.  What little free time he does have he likes spending with his family and/or serving others.  There are times they will serve together as a family.  I can picture this completely, Ammon, Lisa and their children spending time as a family, enjoying just being together, and helping others as they can.\n\nWhat a way to bond as a family.  This is what The Bundy Family is about…this is what America should be about.\n\nAs I was writing this, Matt came in with two letters for me from the Federal Prison in Portland.  One was from Ammon.  I cannot even express how much that meant to me.\n\nHe was uplifting to ME!  Imagine that, being in solitary confinement (this is before they released them from this dark hole) and he lifted my spirits.\n\nHe expressed to me how much it meant that I was there for him and asked that I stay in touch with Lisa. That we haven’t lost our fight in getting our freedom and country back.  He wants his freedom but he knows that the Lord has him there for a reason there is a purpose. He requested that I…\n\n“Ask others to pray, that they may know what they should do to preserve and restore freedom on this land. It is time to act.”  Keep praying for ALL of them.\n\nI am not going to share the entire letter with you, as some of it I feel is for me.\n\nThis is a man we all can learn from his words yes but his actions too.\n\nAmmon Bundy came into my life at a point when I was questioning things in my faith and my country, I not only made a friend for a lifetime, I was renewed in areas of my faith, re-fired in my belief that my country could be restored and cemented in what I already believed and knew.\n\nSo the Ammon that you know, occupier, constitutionalist, and patriot…is so much more…He is husband, father, son, brother…follower of Christ and loyal friend…not just to those that he knows personally…but to you, the one reading this, that he has never met.\n\nI hope you remember the Ammon that I have introduced you to next time you see a news piece that only tells part of the story, I hope you share this with people that don’t know, because I want people to meet this Ammon, my friend Ammon.",

      "body": "Most of you on here think you know Pete, independent media guy, loud, in your face, not scared of much when it comes to getting the truth out…always has Deb, Kenny (Orange hat Guy) and Time Traveler with him, but I have come to know another Pete, I would like to introduce you.\n\nWhen I first pulled into the Silver Spur Hotel with my best friend, Maureen, I have to say my heart was pounding.  I had been III%, Patriot, Constitutionalist, whatever you would like to call it for some time, but very quiet, I knew this trip was going to be a turning point, just not to what extent.   \n\nWe got our room key and started getting settled with Wesley helping us get our things out of my SUV.  We knocked on Pete and Deb’s door to let them know we had arrived safe, I was finally meeting this larger than life guy I had been watching all this time.  Guess what, he was pretty soft spoken…not what I was expecting.  When I was introduced and went to shake his hand, he gave me a hug.  So did Deb.  I gave him the rubber duck that I had brought down for him from my husband because of the statement he had made during the rally for the Hammonds that he wanted to be called Rubber Duck or something, he was genuinely touched and liked it, this man was as REAL as you get.  This girl was impressed.  Maureen and I then headed out to what was now being called the Harney County Resource Center with Wesley as our guide.\n\nAs we drove up the road I was astonished that schools got shut down and all of the upheaval that was caused in the town of Burns…this was WAY out there, a winding road, with some straight stretches up a mountain side.  Why on earth was there a need to close the schools?  Why all the fear? This place was far from the town. There was no threat.\n\nAnyway, with a little apprehension because although I knew most of the people that they are calling the originals, I didn’t know what to expect, we pulled up to the front gate/guard post after 30 miles of driving on compact snow and ice.  A white truck blocked our way in and a young man came out to greet us with a smile\n\n“How are you folks doing tonight?”\n\n“Just fine thank you, and yourself?”\n\n“Freezing but doing well, are you coming in for a visit?”\n\nMaureen “Yes, Jason is expecting us”\n\nThe guard recognized Wesley and nodded.\n\n“O.k. you guys have a great evening”\n\n“You too, try to stay warm”\n\nHe then walked back to the white truck to back it and let us through waving to us with a smile as we drove past.  All my apprehension faded.\n\nWe had a visit with Jason, Jon and Ryan Payne that evening, it wasn’t long as it was late and we wanted to get back and get some rest before the press conference the next morning.  Hugs went around and we left going through the same routine at the front gate on the way out.\n\nThere was light chatter on the way back to town but I think we were in our own thoughts for the most part.\n\nWhen we got back to the hotel Wesley went back up to his room and Maureen and I knocked on Pete and Deb’s door.\n\nHe smiled that big Pete Santilli smile of his and said he was live streaming and asked if Moe wanted to be on, she said sure. He started to interview her and the next thing I knew I was on the show as well.  I was nervous as hell, but Pete and Deb made me feel right at home.\n\nPete was amazing!!!!!!  He made me feel like I was talking to my friends, he actually became my friend that night.  He even wanted to share the fact that I brought a rubber duck from my husband.  When I gave Pete and Deb the cards that my step-daughter made for them he was visibly touched.  He was truly touched to the heart, that someone who was so young listened to him and was grateful for the fact that he put out the truth.\n\nIt was this moment, when I started to see the real Peter Thomas Santilli.\n\nOver the next week I spent almost all of my time with Pete and Deb, following them to different points that needed to be covered.  He was always very concerned for our safety and making sure that we were able to be there for what truly is history in the making.\n\nDuring the press conferences he was the Pete that we all want and need, raw…asking the questions that most are afraid to ask, rebutting the things that most don’t think to rebut or don’t have the fortitude to.  He would get that famous bullhorn and get his point across to those who were rude or loud enough to talk over him.  Those are the times we would laugh and smile because those are the times that we knew were going to be so controversial that no one could ignore what was being said and it would no doubt be talked about.\n\nI remember one press conference we were running a bit late and I was following Pete, he asked if I wanted to and I told him that I would.\n\n“Are you sure?  I drive fast at times.”\n\n“That isn’t a problem for me, don’t worry”\n\nMaureen “She will kill me if she does not get this opportunity to speed”  LOL\n\nMaureen was right I would have, well, just wounded her a little.  So, we took off to the Resource Center.  I kept up with Pete, even doing 80+ on that snow and ice.  Very impressive.  He was still very safe.  So I have to say, being an ex-racer and car enthusiast…he earned another bar of respect from me that day.  When we reached the press area just outside the main gate/guard station and parked, I hopped out, looked at Pete and said\n\n“I thought you said you drive fast.”  He laughed and we rushed up to the staging area for Ammon to speak to us for the morning.\n\nAfter the press conference we all waited a bit to see what was going on for the day, I was taking random pictures trying to figure out my new camera, Pete asked me about my camera and I told him about it and the great deal that I got.  I started to explain to him that I did not quite know how to use it right yet but would get there.  He lit up and asked to see it.  He went through it and said that I got a really good deal and showed me what he had done so that I got clear shots even when I was zooming.  Then he took my picture. Offering to help me out back at the motel after our day was done.\n\nIt was Pete, doing something he loved, for a friend.\n\nThen we had to zoom off, it was time to check out some government cameras.\n\nI wanted to go get gas but did not have time, but being that it was government cameras for surveillance we assumed that they were close and just over a ¼ of a tank would get me there and back…NOPE!   I ran out gas!  YAY me. After we made it back to the motel that night, he told me to always top off my tank before leaving Burns as you never know where the day is going to take us and that he was glad that we were safe.  Now I know the teasing side of Pete, I now would be asked every trip out if I have a full tank. I think I will be asked that every time I am doing something with them now. Hahaha\n\nSomething I saw of Pete…his HEART!  You don’t fully see and feel that in his live stream, you can’t.  He loves those people that he is close to, he loves his friends…he loves LIFE, FREEDOM and HIS COUNTRY!!!\n\nHe believes in what is right, what is good for everyone, not just himself…as a matter of fact Pete is very selfless.\n\nWhen we went to the FBI compound to peacefully protest, Pete handled himself with such professionalism and such a great stance of right I was blown away.  He actually had the FBI speechless.  One agent in particular that we were talking to, considered Pete asking him to be constitutional a threat, that was just absurd and Pete made that known…he called for the sheriff, he was hung up on, Pete acted legally and lawfully.  That is the way that I always saw him act.  The other agent that he spoke to was very polite and receptive to what Pete had to say.  I have that video posted on my Facebook page.  Let’s just say I made sure that agent had a pocket constitution.  Pete was proud of me.\n\nOne of the nights that I was there a box of sex toys was delivered to the participants in Burns.  All of us that were there were making jokes and goofing, including Pete, but under it all you could tell it made him upset, that people were so blind, that they would waste that much money…that much time and effort to mock what people were doing for them.  They proceeded to try to sell off these toys to make money.  I don’t think they did though. Hahaha.\n\nAs my time in Burns, OR came to an end, I felt myself extremely sad as I felt that I was leaving family behind.  Pete and Deb gave me a huge hug and told me to be safe and that they were so glad that I came and that they had gotten to know me.\n\nNow I know this doesn’t really get into the heart of Pete Santilli…it is coming.\n\nOn my drive home, I was reflecting a lot.  Wondering why I felt like I needed to be there, why I didn’t want to leave, why this place, and these people had embedded themselves into my heart and soul so deeply in such a short time.\n\nThe answer is, because they are REAL, they are TRUE, they are people that believe in what our country used to be and that it can be that once again, the way that God intended it to be, the way He guided our founding fathers to lay the groundwork.  Pete is the voice of truth for them, Deb is his perfect balance, God intended this.\n\nI knew I would be returning to Burns, not only for the promises I made to fellow patriots, but because that is where I felt the Lord needed me to be…4 days later, I am in my car headed south on I-5.\n\nThis time it is my husband going with me.  We are going to be arriving in the early a.m.  so the manager at the Silver Spur has given my key to Pete and Deb for my 4 a.m. arrival.\n\nI did not have the apprehension this time, I felt like I was coming to visit family.  I knocked on Pete’s door, even though it was 4 a.m. he greeted me with a smile and my key saying he was glad I was back.\n\nAfter getting a few hours of sleep, Matt and I got up, hurriedly got ready and went to visit with Pete and Deb while they loaded up their truck.  I brought the scarves that my step-daughter had made for them and Pete promptly put his on, as did Deb and Kenny.\n\nOnce again I found myself following Pete out for a press conference.\n\nOnly this time was different…we went out of Burns, down a back road, took another turn and then finally a right on to 205, the road leading to the Resource Center.  Obviously things had ramped up here.\n\nThis was not a press conference though, Pete didn’t even know what it was until it happened, (something most don’t realize is Pete did not want to be a part of any of the security meetings that took place, he didn’t WANT to know what was going on behind the scenes, he got called when it was time to report on something…he was not in “the know”) it was a gathering of ranchers getting rid of the BLM.  What a great day! Despite the protestors and the FBI agent that was playing a protestor that Pete so wonderfully called out.\n\nI love the bravery of this man.  You could see the happiness on Pete’s face.  On everyone’s face at the significance of this event with the ranchers. Though Pete did not agree with the taking over of the refuge that was a moot point, what was happening, all the good that was coming from it, all the traction and education that was going on was a great thing, and he knows it. You can see it in sparkle in his eye.  We all are smiling, but (I can not speak for others) I think we all feel a change is coming.\n\nPete left the Resource center to cover something and I stayed back to visit with Blaine, Melissa, Jon, Scotty, Jason P., LaVoy, Ammon, both Ryans, Carl, and some others that I wanted to catch up with, and of course Duane and Hellboy.\n\nLater that day I caught up with Pete but only for a few moments as it had been a long day.  To be honest with you, it is the first time I had seen him look tired.  We said our goodnights to him and Deb and went to our room.  When we let our Merlin out to go potty, there was a police officer behind Pete’s vehicle, I guess there were flyers going around town and they were looking for Brandon, so Pete, always watching out for people, got his gear and recorded the questioning of Brandon about the flyers.\n\nPete is the man that will put himself aside to watch out for you, after all look where he is now…for you, for me, for the constitution, for America as a whole.  It isn’t about Pete Santilli.\n\nThe next day Matt and I visited the Resource Center again before leaving, I said my goodbyes and we headed out.  I had to swing by the Silver Spur to say goodbye to Pete, Deb, and Kenny and let them know I would be back.  Pete hugged me really tight and told me not to come back.  That he loved me but not to come back.  I thought it was very odd…but the tone of his voice told me he was dead serious.  I hugged Deb and she said she was so glad that we came, she too told us not to come back, that we were pretty innocent in this all and we didn’t want to get caught up there when it got locked down.  We hugged again and she said please don’t come back.  Her voice too told me she was dead serious…I guess we all know now what they were feeling, what I was feeling on Saturday.  It nagged me all the way home and everyday up to the day of the arrests and LaVoy’s murder.\n\nWhen I watched Pete, my dear friend get arrested, I was shocked.  He didn’t do anything to warrant it.  To provoke it.  He just did what we are all supposed to be able to do, talk.  He spoke calmly and respectfully, worried yes, but he was perfectly polite and nice…he wasn’t even Pete Santilli media man, he was Pete Santilli concerned friend.\n\nI know you are still saying, this doesn’t tell me much more about Pete than what I already know…well here you go.\n\nI fell in love with Pete and Deb right away.  They have open hearts, this is not saying they trust right away, and they have every reason not to with the business they are in.  Pete’s heart for the people in his life is as big as they get, and his heart for his country is even bigger.\n\nI know right now this moment, his heart is breaking at the fact his friend LaVoy is dead, that he was murdered and that he can’t help get the truth out.  That the patriot community seems to be getting more divided than unified.\n\nAs I continue to help, and I will until I am told I can’t, I am learning more and more about Pete.  I knew from my moments with him when he wasn’t “on” that he was a great everyday guy, with two dogs and a woman in his life that shared a great love with him.  As I learn more, my heart grows bigger for this man that some just love to hate.\n\nPete loves music, not only to listen to but also compose and play, he is quite accomplished and plays many instruments.  It is my full intent to harass him when he is free to play for me. Hahaha.  He has two cockatiel birds that he adores along with his dogs Ginger and Cooper.  He loves to do everyday things like go on walks and talk, go to his and Deb’s favorite bar and chat about the day over a Stella or two, watch a good movie, even window shopping at Guitar Center…though I have a feeling that is more of a touchy feely type of thing.   He loves vaping, when he goes into a vape shop he makes new friends.  He loves computer/camera tech. which is a given. He is now writing his memoir, which is a book I fully intend to buy.  I am sure he has a wealth of life to share, rich with experiences and knowledge.\n\nSo before you write him off as a big loud mouth oaf who is just pushy to get to the truth, remember that Pete is a highly educated man with many facets.\n\nHe has a huge heart with an amazing capacity to love, he loves to laugh, he hungers for knowledge, and he lives for his loved ones and the truth.  This is a man we all can be proud to call a patriot brother, a fellow American, even though he is these things, I just choose to call him my friend.",

      "body": "Most of you on here think you know Pete, independent media guy, loud, in your face, not scared of much when it comes to getting the truth out…always has Deb, Kenny (Orange hat Guy) and Time Traveler with him, but I have come to know another Pete, I would like to introduce you.\n\nWhen I first pulled into the Silver Spur Hotel with my best friend, Maureen, I have to say my heart was pounding.  I had been III%, Patriot, Constitutionalist, whatever you would like to call it for some time, but very quiet, I knew this trip was going to be a turning point, just not to what extent.   \n\nWe got our room key and started getting settled with Wesley helping us get our things out of my SUV.  We knocked on Pete and Deb’s door to let them know we had arrived safe, I was finally meeting this larger than life guy I had been watching all this time.  Guess what, he was pretty soft spoken…not what I was expecting.  When I was introduced and went to shake his hand, he gave me a hug.  So did Deb.  I gave him the rubber duck that I had brought down for him from my husband because of the statement he had made during the rally for the Hammonds that he wanted to be called Rubber Duck or something, he was genuinely touched and liked it, this man was as REAL as you get.  This girl was impressed.  Maureen and I then headed out to what was now being called the Harney County Resource Center with Wesley as our guide.\n\nAs we drove up the road I was astonished that schools got shut down and all of the upheaval that was caused in the town of Burns…this was WAY out there, a winding road, with some straight stretches up a mountain side.  Why on earth was there a need to close the schools?  Why all the fear? This place was far from the town. There was no threat.\n\nAnyway, with a little apprehension because although I knew most of the people that they are calling the originals, I didn’t know what to expect, we pulled up to the front gate/guard post after 30 miles of driving on compact snow and ice.  A white truck blocked our way in and a young man came out to greet us with a smile\n\n“How are you folks doing tonight?”\n\n“Just fine thank you, and yourself?”\n\n“Freezing but doing well, are you coming in for a visit?”\n\nMaureen “Yes, Jason is expecting us”\n\nThe guard recognized Wesley and nodded.\n\n“O.k. you guys have a great evening”\n\n“You too, try to stay warm”\n\nHe then walked back to the white truck to back it and let us through waving to us with a smile as we drove past.  All my apprehension faded.\n\nWe had a visit with Jason, Jon and Ryan Payne that evening, it wasn’t long as it was late and we wanted to get back and get some rest before the press conference the next morning.  Hugs went around and we left going through the same routine at the front gate on the way out.\n\nThere was light chatter on the way back to town but I think we were in our own thoughts for the most part.\n\nWhen we got back to the hotel Wesley went back up to his room and Maureen and I knocked on Pete and Deb’s door.\n\nHe smiled that big Pete Santilli smile of his and said he was live streaming and asked if Moe wanted to be on, she said sure. He started to interview her and the next thing I knew I was on the show as well.  I was nervous as hell, but Pete and Deb made me feel right at home.\n\nPete was amazing!!!!!!  He made me feel like I was talking to my friends, he actually became my friend that night.  He even wanted to share the fact that I brought a rubber duck from my husband.  When I gave Pete and Deb the cards that my step-daughter made for them he was visibly touched.  He was truly touched to the heart, that someone who was so young listened to him and was grateful for the fact that he put out the truth.\n\nIt was this moment, when I started to see the real Peter Thomas Santilli.\n\nOver the next week I spent almost all of my time with Pete and Deb, following them to different points that needed to be covered.  He was always very concerned for our safety and making sure that we were able to be there for what truly is history in the making.\n\nDuring the press conferences he was the Pete that we all want and need, raw…asking the questions that most are afraid to ask, rebutting the things that most don’t think to rebut or don’t have the fortitude to.  He would get that famous bullhorn and get his point across to those who were rude or loud enough to talk over him.  Those are the times we would laugh and smile because those are the times that we knew were going to be so controversial that no one could ignore what was being said and it would no doubt be talked about.\n\nI remember one press conference we were running a bit late and I was following Pete, he asked if I wanted to and I told him that I would.\n\n“Are you sure?  I drive fast at times.”\n\n“That isn’t a problem for me, don’t worry”\n\nMaureen “She will kill me if she does not get this opportunity to speed”  LOL\n\nMaureen was right I would have, well, just wounded her a little.  So, we took off to the Resource Center.  I kept up with Pete, even doing 80+ on that snow and ice.  Very impressive.  He was still very safe.  So I have to say, being an ex-racer and car enthusiast…he earned another bar of respect from me that day.  When we reached the press area just outside the main gate/guard station and parked, I hopped out, looked at Pete and said\n\n“I thought you said you drive fast.”  He laughed and we rushed up to the staging area for Ammon to speak to us for the morning.\n\nAfter the press conference we all waited a bit to see what was going on for the day, I was taking random pictures trying to figure out my new camera, Pete asked me about my camera and I told him about it and the great deal that I got.  I started to explain to him that I did not quite know how to use it right yet but would get there.  He lit up and asked to see it.  He went through it and said that I got a really good deal and showed me what he had done so that I got clear shots even when I was zooming.  Then he took my picture. Offering to help me out back at the motel after our day was done.\n\nIt was Pete, doing something he loved, for a friend.\n\nThen we had to zoom off, it was time to check out some government cameras.\n\nI wanted to go get gas but did not have time, but being that it was government cameras for surveillance we assumed that they were close and just over a ¼ of a tank would get me there and back…NOPE!   I ran out gas!  YAY me. After we made it back to the motel that night, he told me to always top off my tank before leaving Burns as you never know where the day is going to take us and that he was glad that we were safe.  Now I know the teasing side of Pete, I now would be asked every trip out if I have a full tank. I think I will be asked that every time I am doing something with them now. Hahaha\n\nSomething I saw of Pete…his HEART!  You don’t fully see and feel that in his live stream, you can’t.  He loves those people that he is close to, he loves his friends…he loves LIFE, FREEDOM and HIS COUNTRY!!!\n\nHe believes in what is right, what is good for everyone, not just himself…as a matter of fact Pete is very selfless.\n\nWhen we went to the FBI compound to peacefully protest, Pete handled himself with such professionalism and such a great stance of right I was blown away.  He actually had the FBI speechless.  One agent in particular that we were talking to, considered Pete asking him to be constitutional a threat, that was just absurd and Pete made that known…he called for the sheriff, he was hung up on, Pete acted legally and lawfully.  That is the way that I always saw him act.  The other agent that he spoke to was very polite and receptive to what Pete had to say.  I have that video posted on my Facebook page.  Let’s just say I made sure that agent had a pocket constitution.  Pete was proud of me.\n\nOne of the nights that I was there a box of sex toys was delivered to the participants in Burns.  All of us that were there were making jokes and goofing, including Pete, but under it all you could tell it made him upset, that people were so blind, that they would waste that much money…that much time and effort to mock what people were doing for them.  They proceeded to try to sell off these toys to make money.  I don’t think they did though.
