The Scriptures cannot be broken. When the Syrains encompassed Dothan in a bid to capture Elisha who the King of Syria saw as a serious obstacle to his efforts aimed at overrunning Israel; Elisha and his servant seemed so defenseless, at least, that was what Elisha’s servant thought. \n\n\nWaking up early in the morning; he noticed that an host had encompassed the city with horses and chariots. He went to Elisha in fear and anguish and proclaimed – \n\n“Alas, my master! How shall we do?” (2kings 6:15): invariably – we are finished. Unknown to him; God’s armies hidden from his sight were far more than the foes that surrounded them, seeking to catch in on them. It was only after Elisha prayed to the Lord that the young man’s eyes be opened; that, he discovered that the Syrians armies came rather too late. Before their arrival, the armies of the Almighty God were round about Elisha. True to Scriptures – “as the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people” (Psalm 125:2).\n\n\n\nWhat Elisha’s servant saw when his eyes got opened, was something beyond his wildest imagination. Whereas the Syrian host came with physical horses and chariots; Elisha’s servant saw that the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. How does mechanical chariots compare with chariots of fire, already aflame against anything termed opposition? It doesn’t matter what the enemy comes up within seeking to hijack your peace and to halt your colourful destiny; God has a better version that will render obsolete the preparation of the enemy. He is the God of all flesh and there is no preparation earmarked against you, that He cannot break through. \n\n\nNo matter how “early” they come; they will soon discover that they came too late, because God will always be there before their arrival. No matter how equipped they feel they are; they cannot beat the arsenal of the One Who alone stands as the Father of all spirits, the Head of all principalities and power. You are tattooed on the palm of His hands and your issues are continually before Him.",

His mother had named him Jabez,saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.”\n\n\nLittle or nothing is known about the man Jabez He appears to be a man whose family was not mentioned in Israel's history. But if Jabez and his family's memories were erased, why is he mentioned at all?\n\nThere are three things I am looking at Jabez background.\n\nJabez knew that his father's house was of no consequence.\n\nJabez knew the circumstance that surrounded his birth.\n\nJabez knew that if he must be somebody of note, he has to look up to God hence his prayer.\n1 Chronicles 4:10(NIV)\n\n\n\n\nJabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.\n\nIt takes a man who acknowledges the almightiness of Jehovah and implicit faith in Him. His love and care to not only pray to him but crying unto him.\n\nJabez believed that for his DESTINY to receive a turn around for good, a change to the pain synonymous with his name, God has to be involved.\n\n.......And Jabez cried unto the LORD.\nthese are his requests:\n\nThat God would bless him.\n\n\nThat God would enlarge his territory.\n\n\nThat God would Let His hand be with him, and keep him from harm so that He will be free from pain.\n\n\nAnd God granted his request.\n\n\nAs God was in the days of Jabez, so he is still today. His mother had named him Jabez,saying, “I gave birth to him in pain.”\n\n\nLittle or nothing is known about the man Jabez He appears to be a man whose family was not mentioned in Israel's history. But if Jabez and his family's memories were erased, why is he mentioned at all?\n\nThere are three things I am looking at Jabez background.\n\nJabez knew that his father's house was of no consequence.\n\nJabez knew the circumstance that surrounded his birth.\n\nJabez knew that if he must be somebody of note, he has to look up to God hence his prayer.\n1 Chronicles 4:10(NIV)\n\n\n\n\nJabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! He felt it was too simple for the kind of result he expected. He also felt that if it had to do with a river, it ought not to be river Jordan which he felt did not match up with the class of rivers they had in Syria his home country. As long as he contested the instruction from God’s servant, his healing dragged. The moment he struck an accord with the word spoken and he applied himself accordingly, the heavens of his blessing opened and he was healed of his leprosy.\n\n\nIt is really not what you think or how you want it; everything boils down to what God has said. If you will simply come into agreement with God’s Word; believing it as it is, without seeking to modify it in anyway, your miracle will come through. The Centurion who went after Jesus seeking a Word for the healing of his servant, got through with the Lord. If in your situation; you seek a Word from God to agree with, the Word is not farfetched: for everyone that seeketh findeth (Matthew 7:8). Receive the Word, agree with it and you shall experience a positive turn around.",

Accord with faith is an accord with the spirit of divine possibilities; as it is written – “All things are possible to him that believeth” Mark 9:23.\n\n\nWhen Naaman the leper was told by Elisha to go and deep himself in river Jordan seven times for the healing of his leprosy; he contended with the instruction. He felt it was too simple for the kind of result he expected. He also felt that if it had to do with a river, it ought not to be river Jordan which he felt did not match up with the class of rivers they had in Syria his home country. As long as he contested the instruction from God’s servant, his healing dragged. The moment he struck an accord with the word spoken and he applied himself accordingly, the heavens of his blessing opened and he was healed of his leprosy.\n\n\nIt is really not what you think or how you want it; everything boils down to what God has said. If you will simply come into agreement with God’s Word; believing it as it is, without seeking to modify it in anyway, your miracle will come through. The Centurion who went after Jesus seeking a Word for the healing of his servant, got through with the Lord. If in your situation; you seek a Word from God to agree with, the Word is not farfetched: for everyone that seeketh findeth (Matthew 7:8). Receive the Word, agree with it and you shall experience a positive turn around.",
