      "body": "I have been hearing soooooooo much about Steemit and finally took the plunge today. \n\nI am a proud mom of two awesome kids living in the suburbs of Atlanta. \n\nBeing an ardent seeker, I got introduced to the concept of \"Mindfulness,\" which in the recent times has become a movement.\n\n         mindfulness - \"The quality or state of being conscious or aware of something.\"\n         Mindfulness. Retrieved from https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/mindfulness\n\n There are gazillion toys and games out there which emphasis on making our kids smart, brainy and make them the next \"Mozart or Einstein.\" Just like every parent I bought plenty of them for my kids as well, and they love playing with them.\n\nIt occurred to me that a toy can also be instrumental teaching us being mindful.\n\nHaving a simple and an appealing toy in hand can:\n --  Calm Kids and helps them escape into their imaginary world,\n --   Ease the sensory overload of Special Needs Kids and give them a sense of familiarity and comfort,\n  --  Relax Adults and make them more aware of their mind\n\nBe it the shape, movement, color or texture of an appealing toy - fiddling with it, relaxes a kid's mind and engages them. Such a toy can change a mind from a state of confusion, stress, and uneasiness to a more relaxed, familiar and awareness state.\n\nThe same holds true for thoughts that can change perspective, for adults. An idea or a thought fed to a mind-in-need - has the power to change its course towards betterment and a sense of clarity.\n\nHence I created the brand “MindEasers.” \nMindEasers goal is to provide avenues for both kids and adults alike, to “ease their minds\" by unwinding, resetting and reviving.
