      "body": "El igualitarismo tiene como objetivo la nivelación de las personas en todos los aspectos. Es una doctrina que promueve la igualdad ante la Ley, la igualdad de oportunidades y, principalmente, la igualdad de resultados.\n\nA primera vista, no suena tan mal. Entonces, ¿cuál sería el problema con esto? Veamos:\n\nFilosóficamente hablando, el igualitarismo es un rechazo de la alteridad (1), pues la búsqueda de la homogeneidad niega las diferencias. El igualitarismo impide a la persona surgir por sus propios medios, ya que se basa en la nivelación, en la equiparación. En una sociedad igualitarista, no es posible el progreso, no es posible avance, no es posible la divergencia. Por ello, la igualdad no es lo mismo que el igualitarismo, ya que hay diferencias justas y razonables que no deben eliminarse.\n\nLa excelencia y la superación, son incompatibles con nivelar. Sin embargo, la excelencia necesita de la igualdad, de una obligación de igualdad de trato a todas las personas en la Ley, y la necesidad de proveer mecanismos que favorezcan la igualdad de oportunidades. La Igualdad de oportunidades sirve para que en la sociedad el mayor número de personas tenga acceso a la sanidad, a la educación, a la cultura y otros tantos beneficios, pero es diferente de garantizar igualdad de resultados.\n\nUna sociedad con igualdad de oportunidades, es una sociedad con futuro, mientras que una sociedad igualitaria está abocada al fracaso. Confundir deliberadamente igualdad con igualitarismo, es el eje central del discurso de la nueva izquierda.\n\nDebemos aspirar únicamente a la igualdad de derechos, que es la verdadera expresión de la libertad. Igualitarismo es sinónimo de sometimiento, de encerrarnos dentro de un molde y acoplarnos a un sistema social donde sobresalir o ser distinto está mal visto.\n\n1. Alteridad viene del latín alter que significa \"otro\", y por tanto se puede traducir como otredad.       "body": "Equalitarianism aims at leveling people in all aspects. It is a doctrine that promotes equality before the Law, equal opportunities and, mainly, equality of results.\n\nAt first glance, it does not sound so bad. So, what would be the problem with this? Let's see:\n\nPhilosophically speaking, egalitarianism is a rejection of alterity (1), since the search for homogeneity negates differences. The egalitarianism prevents the person from arising by their own means, since it is based on leveling, on equalization. In an egalitarian society, progress is not possible, progress is not possible, divergence is not possible. Therefore, equality is not the same as egalitarianism, since there are fair and reasonable differences that should not be eliminated.\n\nExcellence and improvement are incompatible with leveling. However, excellence requires equality, an obligation of equal treatment to all persons in the Law, and the need to provide mechanisms that favor equal opportunities. Equal opportunities serve so that in society the greatest number of people have access to health, education, culture and many other benefits, but it is different to guarantee equality of results.\n\nA society with equal opportunities, is a society with a future, while an egalitarian society is doomed to failure. Deliberately confusing equality with egalitarianism is the central axis of the discourse of the new left.\n\nWe must aspire only to equality of rights, which is the true expression of freedom. Equality is synonymous with submission, to lock ourselves in a mold and join a social system where excel or be different is frowned upon.\n\n1. Alterity comes from the Latin alter meaning \"other\", and therefore can be translated as otherness.
