These rules will help you avoid the common blunders of email communication.\n\nHowever, these rules are not set in stone. Take them as guiding principles for effective and professional email communication.\n\nA.  Pay Due Attention to Your Grammar and Spellings\n\nTrust me; nothing makes an email uglier than bad grammar and wrong spellings.\n\nIt may take you more time to look up words on your PC dictionary, but that time is worth it for professional emails. You should also turn on your word checker.\n\nNo matter how good your email is, it lacks professionalism if it contains grammatical flaws or spelling errors.\n\nIf you want to improve your writing skills, read <a href=\"https://www.woculus.com/the-beginners-guide-to-writing-7-simple-tips/\">The Beginner’s Guide to Writing- 7 SIMPLE TIPS</a>.\n\nB. Write on One Topic at a Time\n\nEmails become boring when they are too long. A recipient is more likely to respond to your email if it is about just one issue and is straight to the point.\n\nThere is no harm in writing a follow-up email 3 or 4 days later, but let each email focus on one issue at a time, usually the most important issue.\n\nC. Be SMART in Your Emails\n\nJust like goals should be Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time-bound, professional emails should state the purpose, the required action and the timeline for the action.\n\nD. Avoid Using Common Abbreviations like IMHO, BTW etc\n\nThese abbreviations are better used for casual conversations with close friends. When you are making professional contacts, steer clear of them.\n\nF. For Effective Contact, Add Voice to Your Text\n\nEmails become much more effective when you <a href=\"https://www.woculus.com/tips-making-good-personal-business-phone-calls/\">contact your client on </a>phone. After the call, they can check their emails for attached documents and a reminder of your discussion with them.\n\nDepending on the particular circumstance, call your client or prospect and let him or her know that you are about to send an email, but you are calling to get more information. If you delay sending the email, you can call afterward to let the client know that you have sent the email and are waiting for a response.\n\nG. Avoid Reprimanding a Client in an Email\n\nBelieve me; the outcome of rebuking people in emails is never favorable.\n\nH. Understanding how the problem is currently being solved will guide you in deciding how to enter the market. Most importantly, it will help you know whether your solution is needed or should be modified.\n\n- Develop a small solution (Minimum Viable Product) - a uniquely better solution\nYou need this to test the waters. Make sure it is low cost.\n\n- Improve consistently\nOnce you have determined that your solution is needed, you need to improve your solution consistently and stepwise.  Here are a few questions you should ask yourself from time to time:\n*What is working? (Replicate it)\n*What is not working? (Stop it)\n*What will likely work? (Try it)\n\n- Do things that can't scale\nThe advantage of starting a new business or technology is that you will be greatly involved.
