      "body": "At the beginning of this month, our area experienced a hot summer, with very little rain. Luckily, I had a stock of mushrooms I'd found last month, the first of which was this Panus fasciatus species. I was walking around a cassava plantation looking for mushroom species. Coincidentally, many of the cassava trees had been cut down to harvest the cassava fruit.\n\n\nAnd then I accidentally found a pile of rotting and dead cassava trees.       "body": "There is just always a good reason to hit the mountains and run down some slopes even though the winter season has mostly passed over here already. And the snow season was weird when looking back at it. I remember that the end of January the French Alps were nearly entirely locked by the crazy amount of snow that was coming that.\n\nThat continued more to the East in the middle of Febuary also giving Switzerland tons of snow and also the Vorarlberg region of Austria.       "body": "Just a few more captures from our epic little hike out to the Lower Falls at Sunwapta, Jasper National Park, Alberta. The rushing water, the fresh air, the mist, and very few mosquitoes (thank goodness), made for a short memorable experience. 10/10. After this stop, we will make our way further down the Icefields Parkway (highway 93 south), and the next stop will likely by the Columbia Icefields, but for this trip, no tour onto the ice. We will probably just stop along the highway somewhere for some photos, etc. Some years back, we did take one of those bus tours onto the ice and it definitely was fantastic. To try to differentiate between what might have bike a result, like what traits and characteristics and behaviours and thoughts and feelings and symptoms are a result of the traumatic event that occurred, versus what are traits and characteristics that are kind of more inherently common within tautism. And that can be rerreallyallenging ut, butwould say like the biggest thing for me is I'm really.\n\nLooking at that developmental piece of things, because what we know about autism is that it is a neurotype. It's the way that your brain is wired. And so it's something that you, if you're autistic, then you were born. With it a,nd so aypically when it comes to trauma, those are events and experiences that happen at some point in your life. Unfortunately, sometimes those traumatic experiences can happen like really early in life.\n\n\nSo that can be extra hard. And I've had that experience before, too, where I've had people.       "body": "Growing up I've always admired the length at which people go to, for what they love and believe in.\nI'm about to take you all down memory lane, let's get started.\n\nI recall a certain event, a tragic one that led to too many regrets and unfading scars.\nA certain lady, living in my area had this obsession with wildlife, snakes to be precise. Her name was Miss Ana, she adored their beauty and spoke of their uniqueness at every given opportunity and even when the opportunity isn't given she tries to slot it in.\n\nShe was also a photographer. Myself and few kids that were fortunate to have been in her apartment couldn't help but notice the drawings and framed pictures of different species of venomous snakes in their natural habitat, due to curiosity we would always ask;\n\nAunty Ana why do you love snakes so much, aren't they dangerous?\",\n\"Not at all they're not dangerous, they are just scared and tend to hurt humans when they're scared, they are a reminder of possibilities, without fore and hind limbs they still move and swiftly at that\", Miss Ana would reply with a smile on her face.\n\nShe often ventured into the wild to take pictures of wild animals especially snakes in close contact with them, indeed she was fearless but most people considered it to be stupidity as she was dancing with fire.\n\nThey would say in Nigerian pidgin English;\n\"God wey put snake inside bush know wetin e do o\", translating to: snakes were created by God and were put in the wild away from humans for a reason.\n\nMiss Ana didn't mind their tantrums, as she journeyed six times every week into the wild to take photographs of life there.\n\"They're all small minded\"\nShe would say.\n\nA day came when tragedy struck.\nThe keepers of the wild life territory had a certain boundary limiting further movements of people inside the forest, it forbids anyone from going beyond that point.\nRumors had it that beyond that point dwelled dangerous animals and the most venomous of them.\n\n\n\nTo others it was a caution and something to be scared of, but to Miss Ana it was beautiful news and it fueled her passion more to see what intriguing new species she could discover.\n\nOn an certain evening, under a full moon she ventured into the forest, knowing fully well that the forest guards and regulators must have retired for the day, she snuck in with her camera hung round her neck, a head lamp and a bag pack.\n\nShe successfully moved passed the boundary and was indeed amazed at what she saw, she saw a green mamba hung up on a tree and tried to take a picture of herself holding it.\nUnfortunately for her, it bit her on her neck and after few minutes she collapsed.\n\nShe was discovered by the forest guards later in the morning lifeless, with the camera capturing the exact moment she was struck by the venomous snake.\n\nMyself and my friends were sad at the incident but most of the adults were happy saying;\n\"That will serve as an example to the next person obsessed with wildlife\"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<center><sub>Posted using [SteemX](https://steemx.org/)</sub></center>",
