Your energy levels will skyrocket big time when you get great abs as you'll see.. I’m going to give you a few ideas about diet, taken from the book called The Abs Diet, by David Zinczenko as it has solid advice that’s also easy to follow. There are 12 power foods that he describes - and for good reason. These foods are great for working out. These include the following foods. And I'm going to give you an explanation for each one: 1. Whey protein powder: Why? Whey protein powder is a lean source of protein, the building blocks of muscle, and if you use protein isolate, you’re using a pure protein source with virtually no fat and no lactose. 2. Spinach: Vegetables, especially green leafy ones, are great foods for bodybuilding. They contain stacks of nutrients such as vitamins and folate which are needed to repair the body, including muscles after a workout, as well as general health of nearly every body function you can think of. And they’re low GI foods and are high in fibre. This means you can eat plenty of green leafy vegetables, and not worry about taking excessive calories. 3. Eggs: Another great source of protein and nearly every vitamin. Eggs are a bioavailable protein that’s absorbed gradually (as opposed to rapidly as in the case of whey protein) to keep a steady supply of amino acids to the body to keep rebuilding muscles as well as repairing other parts of the body. 4. Olive oil: Why? Olive oil, preferably extra virgin, as well as avocados, are a source of monounsaturated fats, the good oil that encourages testosterone production, the hormone that builds muscle and burns fat, as well as other effects. Also, those with a diet with monounsaturated fats rather than saturated or trans fats are generally healthier and have less chronic degenerative diseases. 5. Beans and pulses: Why? These are also natures naturally low GI food that contain some protein as well. As we know, low GI foods are the ones that don’t cause insulin spikes and therefore promote fat loss and muscle gain, as well as keeping you satisfied for longer. Again high in nutients. 6. And if you stick to the power foods, you’ll be sure to get big muscles and lose stomach fat and never feel deprived at all in the process. The other bonus? Your brain will work much better and be in better mood as your blood sugar levels will be stable rather than swinging up and down. The best thing about this diet is that the rules are simple to follow, and you get results. So now you have some tips on how to lose stomach fat and to get a six pack, put it into practice and see how you feel. When following good diet advice, you should notice that you’re getting healthy as well as getting to look good. It’s the results that count. So go for it! |
