This mechanism reduces network congestion, increasing transaction speed!

Having a look at the Cardano Road Map, it’s quite interesting to see the network bringing new updates on a weekly schedule. Commencing the month, The network had an important update, creating the Daedalus Mainnet 4.1.0, which facilitates the wallet to support tokens in decimals. The team is also working on a Proof of concept mechanism currently. This week’s progress includes advancement in decentralization by adding Cardano API dependencies.

It’s very true that the cryptocurrency market is in a completely different class and is very different from the usual stock markets or forex. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t have to keep learning about how markets work, or how we can control our feelings and not let them destroy a position with very great potential.

Transactions Are Easy

If you’re going to work in the stock market or Forex you need to pay some fees; brokerage’s fees, commission fees, the “paperwork” fees… in crypto on the other hand there is no need for all the intermediaries, and though there’s no need to pay fees to intermediaries if they don’t exist. Right?

It’s true that in crypto you also pay fees to the exchanges when you’re buying and selling coins. The whole process could be a pain if you were about to send a large amount of money and you needed to do it fast.
",

titleCan the US stocks keep rallying?
body

Jim Cramer said Monday he believes stocks are in a position to keep rallying for the “foreseeable future,” pointing to a number of bullish factors including cooling in the IPO and SPAC markets.

“If I say it could end any minute, I’d be worse than most of these bears who spout jeremiads about how we’re all doomed because of inflation,” Cramer said. “So I’ll say stocks could keep running until something systemic happens, because the market’s set up pretty darned well for the foreseeable future.”

In general, Cramer said he sees a range of factors contributing to “the disappearance of the sellers,” which helped all three major U.S. equity indexes finished in the green Monday, and potentially beyond. Here are a few of those reasons:

Fewer IPOs, SPACs

A flood of initial public offerings can put pressure on the broader stock market because money managers need to sell other holdings to take part in the deal, Cramer explained. Right now, there appears to be a slowdown in IPOs after a surge to start this year, he said, which is a positive.

Relatedly, Cramer said the end of the frenzy involving new special purpose acquisition companies, or SPACs, benefits the entire market. “They will not be missed and if they try to come back again, they will be shunned,” he said.

Household savings

“Thanks to multiple stimulus packages, people didn’t have to sell their holdings in order to pay their bills. In a normal recession, many investors are forced to liquidate their stocks. This time, we have totally avoided that,” Cramer said.

End of earnings season

A few companies have yet to report, but for the most part, the latest round of earnings has wrapped up. That’s good news, Cramer said, because share repurchases are likely to pick up pace, which can lead to higher equity prices.

titleWhat Defines A Coin’s Price?
body
Coin’s Price

To invest means you never should stop learning. You should keep learning new theories about markets, read new analyses of well-known traders/investors and try to understand the way they look at the market, read new books to keep us moving in the right direction….

One of the best ways to start analyzing the coin you’re about to invest in is to read its white paper. By reading the white paper you’re learning about the project, the team who are handling the project, the project’s road map, and to put it simply, you’re learning what you’re getting yourself into and the risks it can carry.

Supply And Demand

The law of supply and demand explains the interaction between buyers of a certain good or resource and sellers of that resource (We are talking about crypto market so we won’t refer to it as goods or resources and will call it coins).
![top-cryptocurrency-prices-today-dogecoin-bitcoin-binance-coin-gain-up-to-12.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmPMLFSUe5M4Nr1BtgDrJKbBFMPkXGxixAhL2vdVgya1pr/top-cryptocurrency-prices-today-dogecoin-bitcoin-binance-coin-gain-up-to-12.jpg)
Transaction Fees

Transaction fees are the main cost of using a coin to make a transaction, it’s the reward for miners who validate the transactions and help secure the blockchain.

The effect of it really depends on how much the transaction fee rises. If it rises slightly it can cause to attract more miners that will result in a faster blockchain. If it rises a lot (and I mean A LOT) it also causes more miners to mine the coin but on the other hand, it causes people to stop using the coin for transactions, or at least it reduces the amount of network’s users.

Halving

Halving refers to the event of the coins miners receive as the reward cuts in half. For example, if you used to receive 10 coins for mining blocks, after the halving you will receive 5 coins for mining a block. You may wonder how this affects the price.

titleWhat Is The Wyckoff Method?
body

Richard Wyckoff

Richard Wyckoff (1873-1934) is one of the technical analysis legends. The Wyckoff Method is based on his theory about the stock market’s movements.

But first things first, let’s find out more about who this great man was.

Who Was Richard Wyckoff?

The start of his career was at the age of 15 when he started working as a stock runner for a brokerage in New York City. When he was in his 20’s he was the head of his firm. He also founded the magazine of Wall Street and even wrote and edited for two decades as well. In the 1930’s he founded the Stock Market Institute to teach others about smart money and how the big players operate in the stock market. He studied the legendary stock operators of his time like Livermore and JP Morgan and made laws and principles based on them.

Using Wyckoff’s Method

1. Find out if the market is in the accumulation phase or is it trending:

This is important because by determining the market trend you will get a grip of what will the future be like and can choose whether you should go long or short.

2. Your target should be in amplified harmony with the trend:

If the market is in an uptrend, the price of the stock you are trading or investing in, should increase more than the market and have smaller pullbacks than the rest of the market.

If you are trading in a downtrend, pick the stock that falls harder than the rest of the market. To put it simply, pick the stocks that not only are in harmony with the market and are moving in its direction, but it’s rather an amplified harmony.

If you are in a bullish trend and the market goes +10%, your stock should go up +20% (less or more, don’t take it literally). And vice versa. If you are in a bearish trend and the market goes -5%, your stock should drop 15% (again, not literally).

3. Is the price ready to move?

Note: doing this step requires doing the “nine tests”, we will talk about that after covering this part.

After doing the nine tests in an uptrend, do the results suggest the smart money has been successfully entered and absorbed? and vice versa, in a downtrend, do the nine test results suggest that a large supply is coming to the market?

4. Watch for a turn in overall (total) market index:

roughly 80% of individual stocks move the same as the overall market index. For example, you can say that roughly 80% of coins in crypto move in harmony with the TOTAL index. Using Wyckoff’s Laws can help you anticipate the turn in the near future. If your anticipation was correct, the overall market index is now on your side.

Is the price ready to move?
\n
Note: doing this step requires doing the “nine tests”, we will talk about that after covering this part.
\n
After doing the nine tests in an uptrend, do the results suggest the smart money has been successfully entered and absorbed? and vice versa, in a downtrend, do the nine test results suggest that a large supply is coming to the market?
\n
4. Watch for a turn in overall (total) market index:
\n
roughly 80% of individual stocks move the same as the overall market index. For example, you can say that roughly 80% of coins in crypto move in harmony with the TOTAL index. Using Wyckoff’s Laws can help you anticipate the turn in the near future. If your anticipation was correct, the overall market index is now on your side.
\n

\n
",

body
What isPeer-To-Peer (P2P) Networks

In general, a peer-to-peer network represents a multifaceted system in which people communicate directly with each other and work under a network. Each person in this network is called a node, and each node alone can perform a unique activity.

In decentralized networks, peer-to-peer refers set each person sends a cryptocurrency to another person in the form of a node. A Peer-to-peer system is Without the supervision of a central system. In this case, each transaction is on a case-by-case basis, so a specific company or program does not manage it.

How Peer-To-Peer Networks Work

If you have ever worked with a torrent system, you will clearly understand peer-to-peer networks. In this network, each person in the form of a node can receive the information of the whole network and have a separate copy of it and then provide their information to other nodes. Therefore, it is no longer necessary for everyone to download the entire Blockchain file, as they have a complete copy of it. There is no central monitoring in this system, and each person is in direct contact with another person.

Unstructured P2P Networks

Unstructured P2P networks create a kind of random structure between nodes so that the type of connection between nodes becomes unpredictable. In this way, a large number of nodes enter the network or leave it suddenly.

titleWhat is the greatest advantage of cryptocurrency?
body

Advantages of Cryptocurrency

1. Transactions

In traditional business dealings, brokers, agents, and legal representatives can add significant complication and expense to what should otherwise be a straightforward transaction. There’s paperwork, brokerage fees, commissions, and any number of other special conditions which may apply.

One of the advantages of cryptocurrency transactions is that they are one-to-one affairs, taking place on a peer-to-peer networking structure that makes “cutting out the middle man” a standard practice. This leads to greater clarity in establishing audit trails, less confusion over who should pay what to whom, and greater accountability, in that the two parties involved in a transaction each know who they are.

2. Asset Transfers

One financial analyst describes the cryptocurrency blockchain as resembling a “large property rights database,” which can on one level be used to execute and enforce two-party contracts on commodities like automobiles or real estate. But the blockchain cryptocurrency ecosystem may also be used to facilitate specialist modes of transfer.

For example, cryptocurrency contracts can be designed to add third party approvals, make reference to external facts, or be completed at a specified date or time in the future. And since you as the cryptocurrency holder have exclusive governance of your account, this minimizes the time and expense involved in making asset transfers.

3. More Confidential Transactions

Under cash/credit systems, your entire transaction history may become a reference document for the bank or credit agency involved, each time you make a transaction. At the simplest level, this might involve a check on your account balances, to ensure that sufficient funds are available. For more complex or business-critical transactions, a more thorough examination of your financial history might be required.

Another one of the great advantages of cryptocurrency is that each transaction you make is a unique exchange between two parties, the terms of which may be negotiated and agreed in each case. What’s more, the exchange of information is done on a “push” basis, whereby you can transmit exactly what you wish to send to the recipient – and nothing besides that.

This guards the privacy of your financial history and protects you from the threat of account or identity theft which is greater under the traditional system, where your information may be exposed at any point in the transaction chain.

4. Transaction Fees

You’ve no doubt read your monthly account statements from the bank or credit card company, and balked at the level of fees imposed for writing checks, transferring funds, or breathing in the general direction of the finance houses involved. Transaction fees can take a significant bite out of your assets – especially if you’re performing a lot of transactions in a month.

Since the data miners (remote and separate computer systems) that do the number-crunching which generates Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies receive their compensation from the cryptocurrency network involved, transaction fees usually don’t apply.

There may be some external fees involved if you engage the services of third-party management service to maintain your cryptocurrency wallet, but another one of the advantages of cryptocurrency is that they are still likely to be much less than the transaction charges incurred by traditional financial systems.

5. Greater Access to Credit

Digital data transfer and the internet are the media facilitating the exchange of cryptocurrencies. So these services are potentially available to anyone who has a viable data connection, some knowledge of the cryptocurrency networks on offer, and ready access to their relevant websites and portals.

It’s estimated that there are currently 2.2 billion individuals across the world who have access to the Internet or mobile phones but don’t currently have access to traditional systems of banking or exchange. The cryptocurrency ecosystem holds the potential to make asset transfer and transaction processing available to this vast market of willing consumers – once the required infrastructure (digital and regulatory) is put in place.

6. Easier International Trade

Though largely unrecognized as legal tender on national levels at present, cryptocurrencies by their very nature are not subject to the exchange rates, interest rates, transactions charges, or other levies imposed by a specific country.

And using the peer-to-peer mechanism of blockchain technology, cross-border transfers and transactions may be conducted without complications over currency exchange fluctuations, and the like.

7. Individual Ownership

In a traditional banking or credit card system, you effectively turn stewardship of your funds over to a third party that can exercise the power of life or death over your assets. Accounts may be closed without notice for infringements of a financial institution’s Terms of Service – requiring you as the account holder to jump through hoops in order to get yourself back into the system.

Perhaps the greatest of all advantages of cryptocurrency is that unless you’ve delegated management of your wallet over to a third-party service, you are the sole owner of the corresponding private and public encryption keys that make up your cryptocurrency network identity or address.

8. Adaptability

There are currently over 1200 unique cryptocurrencies or altcoins in circulation worldwide. Many are quite ephemeral, but a significant proportion has been created for specific use cases that illustrate the flexibility of the cryptocurrency phenomenon.

For example, there are “privacy coins” which help mask your identity on the blockchain, and supply chain tokens that can facilitate supply chain operations for various types of industries.

9. Strong Security

Once a cryptocurrency transfer has been authorized, it can’t be reversed as in the case of the “charge-back” transactions allowed by credit card companies. This is a hedge against fraud which requires a specific agreement to be made between a buyer and seller regarding refunds in the event of a mistake or returns policy.

Finally, the strong encryption techniques employed throughout the distributed ledger (blockchain) and cryptocurrency transaction processes are a safeguard against fraud and account tampering, and guarantors of consumer privacy.

And since you as the cryptocurrency holder have exclusive governance of your account, this minimizes the time and expense involved in making asset transfers.
\n
3. More Confidential Transactions
\n
Under cash/credit systems, your entire transaction history may become a reference document for the bank or credit agency involved, each time you make a transaction. At the simplest level, this might involve a check on your account balances, to ensure that sufficient funds are available. For more complex or business-critical transactions, a more thorough examination of your financial history might be required.
\n
Another one of the great advantages of cryptocurrency is that each transaction you make is a unique exchange between two parties, the terms of which may be negotiated and agreed in each case. What’s more, the exchange of information is done on a “push” basis, whereby you can transmit exactly what you wish to send to the recipient – and nothing besides that.
\n
This guards the privacy of your financial history and protects you from the threat of account or identity theft which is greater under the traditional system, where your information may be exposed at any point in the transaction chain.
\n
4. Transaction Fees
\n
You’ve no doubt read your monthly account statements from the bank or credit card company, and balked at the level of fees imposed for writing checks, transferring funds, or breathing in the general direction of the finance houses involved. Transaction fees can take a significant bite out of your assets – especially if you’re performing a lot of transactions in a month.
\n
Since the data miners (remote and separate computer systems) that do the number-crunching which generates Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies receive their compensation from the cryptocurrency network involved, transaction fees usually don’t apply.
\n
There may be some external fees involved if you engage the services of third-party management service to maintain your cryptocurrency wallet, but another one of the advantages of cryptocurrency is that they are still likely to be much less than the transaction charges incurred by traditional financial systems.
\n

\n
5. Greater Access to Credit
\n
Digital data transfer and the internet are the media facilitating the exchange of cryptocurrencies. So these services are potentially available to anyone who has a viable data connection, some knowledge of the cryptocurrency networks on offer, and ready access to their relevant websites and portals.
\n
It’s estimated that there are currently 2.2 billion individuals across the world who have access to the Internet or mobile phones but don’t currently have access to traditional systems of banking or exchange. The cryptocurrency ecosystem holds the potential to make asset transfer and transaction processing available to this vast market of willing consumers – once the required infrastructure (digital and regulatory) is put in place.
\n
6. Easier International Trade
\n
Though largely unrecognized as legal tender on national levels at present, cryptocurrencies by their very nature are not subject to the exchange rates, interest rates, transactions charges, or other levies imposed by a specific country.
\n
And using the peer-to-peer mechanism of blockchain technology, cross-border transfers and transactions may be conducted without complications over currency exchange fluctuations, and the like.
\n
7. Individual Ownership
\n
In a traditional banking or credit card system, you effectively turn stewardship of your funds over to a third party that can exercise the power of life or death over your assets. Accounts may be closed without notice for infringements of a financial institution’s Terms of Service – requiring you as the account holder to jump through hoops in order to get yourself back into the system.
\n
Perhaps the greatest of all advantages of cryptocurrency is that unless you’ve delegated management of your wallet over to a third-party service, you are the sole owner of the corresponding private and public encryption keys that make up your cryptocurrency network identity or address.
\n
8. Adaptability
\n
There are currently over 1200 unique cryptocurrencies or altcoins in circulation worldwide. Many are quite ephemeral, but a significant proportion has been created for specific use cases that illustrate the flexibility of the cryptocurrency phenomenon.
\n
For example, there are “privacy coins” which help mask your identity on the blockchain, and supply chain tokens that can facilitate supply chain operations for various types of industries.
\n
9. Strong Security
\n
Once a cryptocurrency transfer has been authorized, it can’t be reversed as in the case of the “charge-back” transactions allowed by credit card companies. This is a hedge against fraud which requires a specific agreement to be made between a buyer and seller regarding refunds in the event of a mistake or returns policy.
\n
Finally, the strong encryption techniques employed throughout the distributed ledger (blockchain) and cryptocurrency transaction processes are a safeguard against fraud and account tampering, and guarantors of consumer privacy.
\n
",

titleHow To Read Candle Wicks?
body
Candle Wicks

In this article, we’ll be talking about one of the (if not the) most important parts of candle anatomy. The candlestick’s wick. Let’s find out what it is and how it’s so important. But before that, let’s take a quick look at the Japanese candlestick and its anatomy.

If you already know the history of Japanese candlestick and candlestick anatomy, you can move on to the next part. Now, enough formalities, let’s dive in.

What Are Japanese Candlesticks?

The Japanese candlestick was originally created and used by a major rice trader in the city of Sakatra roughly 300 years ago.
![1_7zWqy4tHighFQoNEw7jfgw.jpeg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmdJ8akgTxNJrD5Cpg8ixrkDF759CPhKc7EvcuMXmBMMg2/1_7zWqy4tHighFQoNEw7jfgw.jpeg)
The Brief History Of Japanese Candlesticks

A man named Munehisa Homma began managing his family business due to the death of his father. He was the eldest son and due to traditions of that era, he was to take after the business of his father. Long story short, by trading in the rice market he made 10 billion dollars equivalent to today’s dollar. It’s a lot of money, isn’t it?? Not for the father of Japanese candlesticks.

Until 1710, only physical trade of rice was possible. Later, feudal lords issued rice coupons (you can read rice futures) that could be used to buy rice before it’s ready for sell, maybe even a few years before it’s ready to sell! The price of the coupans could vary due to different circumstances like weather or people’s expectations.

Candlesticks Anatomy

a candlestick shows the change of price in a period of time. If it’s a daily candle, it shows the change of price in 24 hours. if it’s a weekly candle, it shows the change of price throughout a week.*

In the previous part, we talked about four types of information that every candle carries: opening, closing, highest and lowest price.

body
Hashing

Hashing is one of the fundamental reasons that make blockchain technology as secure and great as it is now.

In short, Hashing is the process of taking a key and through a mathematical algorithm, making it into a different value. The “different value” is the hash (also known as hash value). A good hash is one that could not be converted to the original key.

What Makes Hashing So Great?

A hash is the unique product of a key. What does it mean? Let me show you an example: In this example, we are going to use SHA-256 to hash a key.
![what-is-hashing.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQman96WR1xZuE5bNTkQBvy8jWTAYwnx2LQbTDbnYQhDoYD/what-is-hashing.jpg)
What Is SHA-256?

It’s short for Secure Hashing Algorithm and is the hash function and mining algorithm of Bitcoin protocol. But enough about that, let’s dive in. For this example, I’m using an SHA-256 hash calculator to calculate the hash value of a key. The key is “john”. It’s all in non-capital characters.

The hash value of “john” is:

60976712c7f60fa538bcacf402529b41589f589de3058713b4759062cc0110ea

Now, let’s do it again, with a little change in the key. We’ll write john with a capital O.

titleIs Bitcoin mining good for the environment?
body
What Is Bitcoin? Is Bitcoin Bad For the Environment?

The promise of decentralization, free access, very little regulation and anonymity, plus the ability to make money out of transactions by “playing” with market rules work may be appealing for some. Others, instead, can’t avoid looking away from Bitcoin’s algorithm and its demand for computational power to validate transactions.

But how polluting are Bitcoins exactly? How bad are Bitcoins for the environment? Here’s a brief introduction to bitcoin from a sustainability perspective. Perfect to shed some light on how Bitcoin works for those reading about it for the first time.
![image.png](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmazqVouyVQJY2eLSBbZjfpgxBjLJFoKtnwy1mVVfWXCjC/image.png)
What is Bitcoin and What Are Its Environmental Effects?

Simply put, Bitcoin is a digital currency created in 2009 following the ideas set out in a whitepaper by the pseudonymous Satoshi Nakamoto. It has its own website – which is perfectly safe to visit – where one can get started with Bitcoin by choosing a wallet to buy the cryptocurrency.

It delivers the promise of lower transaction fees than traditional online payment mechanisms – such as MoneyGram, Transferwise or Western Union – and, unlike government-issued currencies, it is operated by a decentralized authority thanks to the use of blockchain technology.

titleHow to Short Crypto?
body
Introduction

Digital currencies are still a nascent market, and many investors have generally not invested because of these assets’ virtual and intangible nature. In many financial markets of the world, short selling is one of the methods used to make more profit. This method can also be used in cryptocurrencies. But how can it be used?
![how-to-short-sell-bitcoin.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmXV4k36C2n6UDChamHaqNtwPgacjdkKKoog9c8FgcMXxB/how-to-short-sell-bitcoin.jpg)
Short Sell Method

In the stock market, green means profitability. The greener the market, the higher the profit. But is there a way to make a profit again by lowering the price of an asset? If so, what is the procedure? This type of profit is called short selling.

What Is a Short Sell?

Short selling is one of the methods that work in reverse in the market. For example, you sell first and then buy because you do not have enough money to buy first.

Anyone can do short-selling operations in cryptocurrencies. The procedure is simple. First, by looking at the chart, you will notice that the price of a digital currency is falling. You sell it at a higher price, and when the price drops enough, you repurchase it. Simply! Of course, note that if the price rises again after the price drops, you will suffer a loss!

Position Difference at Short Sell Time

One of the main ways to make a profit in the cryptocurrency market is to buy when it is cheap and expensive to sell and make a profit. For the gain to be significant, you need to consider when to open or close a position.

Creating a long order means that you are buying crypto, considering that the price will increase after a while. Opening a bitcoin long position means that when the price of bitcoin rises against the dollar, sell it.
