      "body": "Three Months and Counting\n\nThirteen weeks ago I underwent a third cesarean section. I must say it was a success, though frightening. It lasted all of sixteen minutes, approximately. Initially there was much soreness, mild cramping, and passing of blood. As time progressed I began to walk upright and get out more.\n\nIf you've never had a cesarean before you know that this is major abdominal surgery. Some women have had serious complications themselves or even have died. Thankfully I had an excellent team of doctors, nurses, nurse's aids, and so forth. As before with my previous two cesareans I cried with joy as my son came into the world.\n\nThe anesthesia was most alarming as I was concerned whether or not I was still enough as the anesthesiologist was administering the spinal. My thoughts early that morning at 5:30ish were, \"Am I still enough?\" I did not want to make a foul move. Minutes later I could feel the medicine kicking in. I did not panic as I had mentally prepared for this now familiar procedure. When I was tested for numbness they used a cold wet rag I believe and I passed the test. I was wondering, \"Are you sure I'm numb enough for what my doctor is about to do?\"\n\nThere I laid praying and looking to my husband to be my eyes. My doctor and the resident physician carried on conversations of everyday matters. I remember weird smells, a drill-like sound, an oxygen mask, and a lot of people in the operating room. Though this scene was all too familiar, it was most unique. As the time neared I asked my husband repeatedly was the camera ready and listened intently for my baby boy. The feeling a mother has during the last few minutes of a c-section is inexplicable. We cannot see, feel, or walk beyond the obvious!\n\nFinally, I was rocked, tossed and toiled, like a boat. I knew that my son was being worked out into the world. The staff began to describe my sons hair and how that he appeared as a toddler! I began to weep and my husband picked at me a bit. Then, it happened, I heard the screeching bellows of my boy! When my husband brought him around the curtain, he looked snug in those fresh heated blankets and just like him. I was at ease and extremely pleased!\n\nIt has been my experience to no not what it is to push or apply Lamaze. It has been my experience to not eat or wash for two days following delivery (required). Yet, I am proud to say that I am healthy, in every since of the word, and a mother of three healthy children all from cesarean births! The lord has blessed me to be a cesarean champion!",

As a matter of fact, I have an understanding that it is not neccessary to feed them anything and still have a flourishing carnivorous plant.\n\nPlease watch Venus Flytrap expert Joel Garner below in the video below for more:\n\nhttps://youtu.be/V1tT5mo0F0E\nHaving a Healthy Venus Flytrap\n\nJoel Garner, carnivorous plants conosieur, explains that a Venus Flytrap can actually thrive with distilled water, reverse osmosis water, or rain water and appropriate sunlight. You cannot find a better care regimen than that! It is simple and so cheap!\n\nPotting Your Plant- It is a common practice to plant in a pot with dirt, fertilizer, and possibly even Miracle Grow. However, Venus Fly traps can be grown independent of the traditional potting in a mixture of moss as soil and a plastic pot with a depth of five to eight inches. (long-fibered sphagnum and peat moss pictured to the right).\n\nSun Exposure- Like any other plant sunlight is vital for Venus Flytap nourishment. Therefore, it is advisable that your trap can live outside; however, an alternative would be a sunlit window sill. In the event growing your Venus Flytrap outside or next to a sunny window are not feasible a third option is providing high output flourescent light. To ensure your Flytrap is getting maximum exposure to the flourescent light experts advise you position the plant within two to four inches under the bulb.\n\nWatering- As previously mentioned the best, tree types of water for Venus Flytraps are rain water, reverse osmosis water (purified tap water or other filtered water), or distilled water. Joel Garner states,\n\n\"Having sold 1000s of Venus Flytraps online I have found that the number one way that customers lose their newly purchased Venus Flytraps is by using an incorrect kind of water and it consistently kills them in 2 days flat.\"\n\nBottled mineral water, bottled drinking water, or purified water are not encouraged in the irrigation of Flytraps.\n\nFeeding- Feeding Flytraps live bugs is the best nutrients rather than forcing dead matter. Joel Garner indicates a Venus Fly Trap can eat weekly one, possibly two, bug(s) for adequate sustenance. It has been established that a Flytrap owner must not feed the plant when indoors. On the same token, it is important to understand that Venus Flytraps that live outdoors are fully capable of feeding themselves by cathcing insects.\n\nDormant Stage- Oftentimes Venus Flytrap owners think their plant is on its last leg (dying) because it loses its fall leaves and displays smaller leaves. The Venus Flytrap is not dead in such cases, but the greater mass of the plant is beneath the surface. The Winter season brings about dormancy for Flytraps. These men stole 900 Flytraps and got caught! This is a felony in the state of North Carolina.\n\nAs an owner of a Venus Flytrap and having seen them grow in nature, I understand the awe and amazement of their splendor and uniqueness, however, to do time in the penetentrary for stealing them is not an option!\n\nThere are so many vendors of Venus Flytraps both online and elsewhere and tons of resources to help one maintain their carnivorous plants.       "body": "What is Cradle Cap\n<br>\nCradle cap, in my own words, is a collection of flakes that stick to the babies scalp in clusters. To paraphrase researchers, cradle cap is commonplace among babies to their scalp, possibly their ears, and forehead. The color can be dark, like my son's or even white or yellowish as pictured. This condition of the skin is due to inflammation.\n<br>\nMy Personal Experience with Cradle Cap\n<br>\nAll three of my children had a case of cradle cap. It can have a sour odor to it and make you want to scrape it off as it is unappealing. I strongly suggest against this! Though a few times I did gently nudge a few flakes away that were already coming off. I regard cradle cap as baby dandruff. I can imagine many of you do as well.\n<br>\nAs darker-skinned toned individuals, cradle cap somewhat blended in with my children's hair color. Many women and teenagers noticed it and often inquired what it was. I explained it was cradle cap and that I was treating it. That was the end of it, plain and simple.\n<br>\nInexpensive Ways to Rid Your Baby of Cradle Cap\n<br>\nIf you're like me, you received gobs of shampoo sets and baby oil bottles at your baby shower!\n<br>\nWay #1 to Rid Cradle Cap\n<br>\nPer my pediatrician, apply baby oil at night. In the morning, take a baby comb and gently comb the cradle cap flakes out of the baby's hair. She said the flakes will soften over night. She cautioned me about the possibility of removing the baby's hair along with the cradle cap.\n<br>\nWay #2 to Rid Cradle Cap,\n<br>\nShampoo your child's hair daily and watch it dissipate! (low maintenance and takes time) You will probably see flakes in your babies crib along with sheds of your baby's hair. This is a sign the washing method is taking effect.\n<br>\nFinal Thoughts\nThough both ways are similar, I chose option #2. I find that my children's hair undergoes changes and falls out anyway. I did not want to cause more to come out through combing out the cradle cap. Simply washing my son's hair daily or every other day has worked and five months later the cradle cap is all gone (was throughout the top middle to front of his scalp)!",
