I've only been using the Steemit platform since January and up until I found dlive and dtube, I was ready to throw in the towel. This was because one of my posts was flagged, followed very quickly by all of my SBD being removed from the rest of my posts. I'm not sure how many of you that has happened to, I can tell you, my confidence was completely shattered!! \n\nI'm not asking for sympathy at all but I'm currently going through cancer treatment, so since being chewed up and spat out by that whale  2 weeks ago, I have had some pretty gruesome surgery on my face and back to remove the cancer. I'd like to thank that big fish for doing what they did to me because it was through them, smashing my confidence like they did, that stopped me from writing anymore posts, therefore allowing me to do a lot of reading while I concentrated on getting well. I found dlive and dtube [yay] or did they find me? :) \n\nI'm of the older set, 47 to be exact, so didn't grow up with the technology of today, I remember getting my first electronic game on my 9th birthday, I can't remember the name of it but it had one spaceship going across the top of the screen, which I had to shoot, I spent hours and hours on that game!! Over the years I have had an Atari, a ZX81, a Commodore 64, I was too good at Space Invaders, obviously a misspent youth! I have enjoyed a lot of hours playing Super Mario and Fifa with my son and it still excites me, these days, it's Call of Duty, a pizza and a few beers!!\n\n\n![cat-1424748.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTARWnQV8H3vqL69hVBUnVf2exg5KfX4VjmEhBMZB1DLZ/cat-1424748.png)\n\n\nIt was while doing a lot of reading that I came across dlive and dtube and realised I liked it and it excites me, I'm not used to the format but I'm not too old to learn!! I have spent years online, creating content in many niches, my favourite being food and the creation of fabulous food at budget prices. So that is what I'm going to do and I can't wait. Last night I posted an article - https://steemit.com/familyprotection/@nikkijmurphy/forced-adoption-true-words-from-the-mouth-of-a-stolen-baby-tammy-s-story which was flagged and hidden because of low ratings. \n\nYes it was copied and pasted from another site, I cleaned it up a bit and did mention at the beginning of the post that it was historic, I really only wanted to show that the system hasn't changed in all that time, got worse even if anything, this is what I wrote at the beginning of the post - This is Tammy's story in her own words, this case is historic, it shows you just how archaic the system was then and still is today!!\n\nI said that it was in her own words, and given the dates mentioned in the article, I would have assumed that people would realise it wasn't an original works. I'm guilty at best, for not citing the original article, it was a genuine attempt to compare the two era's. \n\nI can understand being flagged for that article and having the rewards removed, what I don't understand is why I have had all of my SBD removed from most of my other articles. They are original works which I spent a lot of time writing, you only had to paste them into Copyscape to check their originality. \n\nThe knock on of you removing my rewards are catastrophic for me, not only do I not donate to @familyprotection - or to the group I'm trying to get off the ground in my local area, which will support young mums with babies, I now will struggle to pay my normal household bills. I don't have a paying job, I'm a volunteer with several groups. I thought I was offering value to this community, obviously someone thinks differently.\n\nI'm sorry to @familyprotection for tagging this post to you but I'm so upset this morning at seeing all of my rewards gone for my posts just for making one mistake.
