DIMCOIN is no exception.\n\nThis gem of an ICO had their crowdsale on July 1st, 2017. They planned on hosting a \"Hybrid Stock Exchange\", or HYBSE, on the NEM blockchain. They even had another ICO for \"DIMPAY\", another \"necessary component of the DIM ecosystem.\"  That to me is a red flag.\n\nAfter over a year of delays, I just assumed that DIMCOIN had led to vaporware, like 99% of ICOs. Then to my surprise, they announced that they were \"releasing\" the HYBSE yesterday.\n\n![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmZyxq3W3BwDmB1ddiBJVzhvxvdsgS6YyTF1frinrfcVHx/image.png)\n\nCould it actually be true that the team was going to deliver? Were there actual companies listing on the HYBSE? Was trading going to start tomorrow?\n\nNah, not even a working product. I have seen it first hand in failed ICOs like UmbrellaCoin, Doc.AI, and scams like Magos. When people get banned for criticizing, there is always something to hide, and investors to dupe...\n\nMaybe one day they will deliver, but I wouldn't hold my breath.\n\nI don't think this story is unique to DIMCOIN, but to almost every ICO that has been held since the ICO craze over the past two years. I personally think it is best to not purchase any altcoins until the SEC allows security tokens. Pedigrees from schools like Harvard are one way to overcome this systemic bias, but Asians, while deserving based on merit, are shut out of these elite institutions in the name of \"diversity.\" This to me is an abuse of \"white privilege.\" By selecting members of one minority population over another simply on the basis of race, so these so-called \"elite\" institutions can claim their campus is \"diverse\", all while keeping their own numbers of white students inflated. Now in retrospect, it was to stop communication between ICO contributors to discover what was going on.\n\nAfter the ICO, they deleted all of their accounts, claiming to have rebranded to \"http://aio.network/\" due to an \"acquisition.\" They started a new twitter account: \"twitter.com/AiO_token\".\n\nThey have kept stringing along ICO contributors, all this time trying to erase their tracks.
