But are we using it properly, the answer is no.\n\nThe schools are just making us less creative the more time we spend in school. To better understand it, lets go through a thought experiment. Close your eyes, and imagine you are a 16 year old high school kid and you got an idea to do something that you think is cool and awesome. But you can't do it all alone. You need volunteers to do that. First, you ask your classmates who would volunteer. Just think of how many of them would respond to you in a positive way. Most of them would just stick to their phones, chatting and updating the posts. You won't get a very good response from the older kids of the school. Trust me, older students aren't very curious to do something new (I personally experienced it).  Now go to the kids of the primary section, like 5th grade students or so. Observe their response. Their response will be incredible. They would fight with each other to volunteer first for this thing. They will be curious to do new things. What happened here? Why are the younger children more curious than the older students? The answer is, the younger kids have spent less time in the school than the seniors. The older kids have lost their creativity and curiosity because they have got so used to doing what their teachers have instructed to do that they have forgot about the fact they were also once creative and curious to learn and do something new in their childhood. Therefore,\n<center>T<sub>s</sub> &#8733; <sup>1</sup>/<sub>C</sub></center>\nwhere,\nT<sub>s</sub> = Time spent in School\nC = Level of Creativity, Curiosity and Intelligence\nT<sub>s</sub> is inversely proportional to C i.e. more the time you spent in school, lesser the curiosity.\n\n<h3>Why does this happen?</h3>\nLet's study this in a chronological order. When you first start your schooling as a toddler, your curiosity and creativity are at their peaks. Even the curriculum is not very pressurizing. You are free to play and be wild with curiosity. Now, when you come to grade 5 or 6, your curiosity is still pretty good and you will seek to learn new things. But the trend changes suddenly when you are in Grade 9. Homework and work loads starts to build up more and more.  You get less time for introspection and using your big brain of yours to do something innovative. Schools instruct us to do only the things that you are told to do and this way you lose track of your curiosity and creativity.\n\n<h3>What's the solution?</h3>\nThe only solution I could think off is to create an all new education system from scratch without modifying the existing one. And for that very reason I have come up with The School of Everything 1.0 which could potentially change the way we learn and educate ourselves. I would go into the details of The School of Everything in my next post. But I could give you a clue, this system won't consist of a classroom or an infrastructure to study, it would be something like the game of Nerve in the 2016 movie Nerve.       "title": "The School Of Everything 2.0 (Part 2)",
      "body": "In my <a href=\"https://steemit.com/steem/@nerdimite/the-school-of-everything-1-0-part-1\">previous blog</a> I discussed about the obsolete education system of the world. In this part, I will be discussing about my idea for a new kind of education system which could potentially be more of a true learning experience for a student. Before I hop into The School of Everything 2.0, I will use an analogy to explain this system better. If you didn’t watch it then do check that movie out. The basic story of this movie is that there’s this game called Nerve where the Player has to complete a Dare given by the Watchers. If the player completes a dare then the Player is rewarded with money. But the game turns out to be dirty by the final round. As the game is part of the Dark Web, it is decentralized so there was no way the protagonists could shut it down. However, the code of the game is open source in the dark web and they somehow change the code and make every user sign out which automatically shuts down the game. Watching the movie once is pretty worth it.\nBut what is the relation of the movie with the education system? If you are sharp, by now you would have guessed that I am trying to use the game’s concept to start a School. Yep! That’s right, blending the dare game with education. I know that doesn’t make much sense, but trust me it is pretty cool.\n<h3>How does it work?</h3>\n![e9dffecd88ab8f1d73bf9a77afe1ba84.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmcvquFPaNpcAez2UXYzWQnLuSyWTuRojAB7VBbkAqSi7p/e9dffecd88ab8f1d73bf9a77afe1ba84.jpg)\nFirstly, this School is not going to have any infrastructure, it is going to run on a decentralized platform, like a blockchain. So there will be no single authority to control the app and yeah impossible to hack. Every Student will become a Player and every teacher on the network will be a Watcher. The Players will be given tasks like figuring out how a DC Motor works. The basic principles on which it works will be provided to the Player like a pre-requisite knowledge. The Player will have to figure out how a motor works on his own using the principles provided. This way his creative brain will get stimulated and he will have to critically think to complete the task. The Player will be watched live from the mobile device by the Watchers (Teachers) and the watcher will decide whether the task was accomplished successfully or not. Based on his success, the player will be rewarded in a cryptocurrency called <b>Exovate</b>. Also life lessons of wisdom will be given to the players to prepare them to face the world. In this school anyone can become a watcher (Teacher) if he/she is creative, talented and good teacher. So the watcher will not need any degree, however, the watcher will be assessed based on creativity, knowledge, attitude towards learning and communication skills before getting selected as a watcher. \n<h3>Level Up and the Trinity Br</h3>\n![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmVH4bYTVY6MeXq5JAxFvKwy2H5eBXCH4aipVQsDo2BLwr/image.png)\nIn our conventional schools, students go to the next grade every year and also study more advance topics. But that's a very absurd way to increase the standard of a student because every student learns at his own pace, everyone has different learning capabilities. So in this school, as every student is a player, they have to complete levels. After every level completion, the player is rewarded with Exovates.\nIn each level they are taught the pre-requisite knowledge and are given tasks to complete. Once all the tasks are complete and the student is ready for leveling up. The process of leveling up consists of a series of assessments or tests (not a standardized test at all). This is called the <b>Trinity Bridge</b> (Because it contains three parts and is a bridge between levels)\n<ol>\n<li>Firstly, A student needs to take a practical challenge where the player has to use all the knowledge he/she has gained in the current as well as previous levels to solve a given problem. This challenge covers all topics from social science, language, science, computer, math to values and life lessons.</li>\n<li>The player needs to create, design, write or think of something innovative on whatever topic he/she likes. The player has 360<sup>o</sup> of freedom to go wild with his/her creativity in this part of the Trinity Bridge.</li>\n<li>The final challenge is to assess the life lessons they have learned. In this part they will be given situations where they need to take wise decisions.</li>\n</ol>\nBut one thing to remember is that not a single player can fail in the Trinity Bridge. These assessments will be used to make a report on the player's strengths, weaknesses, and wisdom. And accordingly the next level will be optimized to best suit the player. So, every level of a player is unique to that specific player and as a Wise Man once said, <blockquote>Life is a journey which is unique to YOU. So, Don't compare your life with others</blockquote>\nThe initial levels of the player will cover every subject, but as the player completes levels, he/she can choose only those subjects that he/she wants to learn and excel in. The Trinity Bridge also helps identifying the interests and talents of the player. This way learning becomes fun for the player as the player does what he/she loves and the school also loves seeing the player happy, so it is a win-win situation. \n\n<h3>My Final Thoughts</h3>\nI believe and in fact everyone should believe that learning is like a fun game where the player loves playing the game and doesn't hate it. The schools today don't make learning fun but make it a burden for the students which sometimes leads to dark fates like suicides. True Education which is fun should be provided to the student and with this in mind I came up with the idea of developing school based on the movie Nerve.\n<h2>\"Education is the quadruplication of creativity, curiosity, learning and experience\"</h2>",
