| title | Do you ever wonder where all the time went at the end of a busy week? |
| body | At the end of those busy week, have you ever asked yourself this question- "What have you achieved this week?" If you did, it is time to change those questions. 1) Who you really are right now? 2) What can you do to improve yourself to see a change that you want? I see a lot of people worked hard to achieve their goals and dreams but never achieve them after many years of struggling. And this includes me as well, I have been struggling to achieve my goals and dreams that I sometimes doubt myself if I am capable to actually achieve my dreams and goals. So start by asking who you really are right now? Our identity now determines who we are in the future. If you are the type who think to themselves that "Well, this is my life. This is just the way things are. I can't help it as I was born into a poor family." Guess what?! You will be stuck there for life. Is this the kind of future you are looking forward to? Or instead you are the type who constantly go for training to improve yourself? Read self help books? The type who isn't afraid to ask for help and guidance when feeling lost? This kind of people are progressing in life. Some may be fast, some may be slow and at least these people will not be stranded for life at the same place. In order to become successful, we have to grow into a different version of ourselves. In other words, a 2.0 version of ourselves. This is the biggest issue that everyone is facing. You need discipline, determination, and a lot more to actually master the art to the road of success. It's not so much on the methods used, rather you need to have the right mentor to be your guidance and help you build the right character along the way. Ask yourself this questions now: 1) What should I do now? 2) How can I control my actions? 3) How can I control my thoughts? 4) What am I not doing in order to achieve my goals? Think of yourself as a puppet on strings which takes orders from your mind and getting these orders done. Before getting to this step, you gotta focus on feeding your mind on the right food. Your mind is a powerful tool, use it to create your pathway to success. As your mind determines what you want to achieve in life then focus on building your dreams and goals. Then train your mind to set your goals and dreams and how you wanna achieve it? Then set a time line - one year? 5 years? or 10 years? This timeline is entirely up to you and how big your dreams are? Since you are done with the what are your goals stage; now, ask yourself what do I need to do in order to achieve that?" This is where you start planning. It is very important to get through this stage with proper planning as it will affect your execution of plan. Do ask yourself everyday "what I’m about to do today will get me a step closer to the person I want to be tomorrow?" Lastly, look at yourself in the mirror and say "you are a step closer to your goals and dreams, (your name). Till the next post, with love Nastaasiah |

| title | Love VS Fear. What is your take in this? |
| body | Love is one of the most beautiful feelings in the world to a point where it is indescribable. Perhaps, the exact reason why I am struggling with it. It gives you the kind of feeling people write novels about yet it gives you a sense of discomfort. Love makes you vulnerable. I am sure most of you can relate to this, especially in a new relationship. To be in love, we are allowing ourselves to take risk. A huge one actually, we are opening our personal space and allowing them to come in. We place a great amount of trust in the other person; giving them permission to be in our life whether to love or hurt us. Have anyone told you that the more we care, the more we are exposing ourselves to getting hurt? Vulnerability is a risk that comes with emotional exposure. People who fear of being in love often have their defenses up in any relationship especially in a love relationship. To overcome your fear of loving and being loved, you will need to lower your defenses and allow yourself to be vulnerable to your partner. I can smell fear now... The thought of being vulnerable to your partner can indeed be frightening but it is a necessary steps. As quoted by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross "there are essentially only two human emotions, love and fear." Elisabeth Kübler-Ross is a highly acclaimed psychiatrist. A summary of both love and fear in her terms is as the follows: Love provides a space allowing us to process our emotions; whereas, fear causes us to jump into conclusions. Love gives us assurance of ourselves and our decision; whereas, fear makes us to second guess ourselves and our decision. Love helps us to be calm and be reasonable; whereas, fear creates a storm in us. Love enables us to ask questions; whereas, fear doesn't encourage us to speak up. Love lives in the present; whereas, fear is holding us back in the past. Love heals a hurt almost instantly; whereas, fear does not forgive and forget. Among those fears are the fear of getting hurt, fear of losing someone, fear of hurting someone, and fear of commitment. What is your fear? So why take a chance to love and not fear? It's better to try and have a chance at happiness as you only deserved to be happy. I believe that it will all start to fall into place the moment we decide to embrace love into our life. |

| body | I will love you until the stars go out, and the tides no longer turn. Just in case you didn’t get it, the quote simply means that you will never stop loving your partner. Is it possible to love someone till the last breathe? I grew up believing that love between 2 mortals will never last and never allowed myself to fall in love. I guess it was a way to protect myself from getting my heart broken. I had been putting myself in this bubble of protection for many years and constantly fear that someone will come into my life and burst the bubble. Eventually, I also build up a wall of defense around my bubble. Many of you maybe wondering now? What happened? Why the bubble? Why the wall? I grew up in a fairly dysfunctional family with constant arguments, fights, shouting and screaming in the house. And all these negativity fed into me that I became scared to fall in love. I love and enjoy reading romantic novels and wonder if i will ever be heads over heels for someone but the inner part of me always pushes that thought away. In case you are curious about my dating experience, I did dated but there wasn't love involved at least from my side. None of them lasted and eventually I asked myself "why none of the relationship last?". A friend of mine send me a link through whatsapp and stated that he feels that i need to read this. It was an article about the 5 love languages. What is the 5 love languages? Receiving gifts Quality time Words of affirmation Acts of service Physical touch I will not elaborate on the 5 love languages, if you are interested to understand more; refer to this link https://www.focusonthefamily.com/marriage/communication-and-conflict/learn-to-speak-your-spouses-love-language/understanding-the-five-love-languages After reading the following article, I then realized I was the main cause that the relationship did not work out. Slowly I prayed silently within myself and asked God to teach to love, to burst the bubble and tear down the walls that I have built over the years. Within weeks, I have gotten my walls down however, I am still in my bubble. There is still fear in me despite the feeling of affection I have towards my partner. What took years to build has been torn down within weeks; I am wondering what will happened in a few more weeks time. Love is indeed something that no one can explain. What used to be years of pain is in the process of healing within weeks being in love. I do urged you readers to never give in to bitterness and dwell in it like I did. You will miss a whole new world out there being stuck in your little bubble. Slowly walk out from it. I am taking my time and I hope that you too will choose to walk out from bitterness. |

| body | Before you start reading... Let’s take a moment to imagine for a second that if your life were to stay the same for the rest of your life... Your relationships, your income, your appearance, your career, your car, your house? Most importantly, your problems? They won't EVER go away. How do you feel about that picture you have in your mind? I know it may be painful to think about…but it’s important to understand there is a cost of doing NOTHING. If you decide to do NOTHING and make a change then how can you expect things to change or improve? So do something about your current situation. Make a change today to take control of your tomorrow. |

| title | I am inviting you today to start doing something uncomfortable that will move your life forward. |
| body | What?! Are you kidding me? I'm sure this is what you are thinking right now. Hear me out first and do kick that thought out before it consumes you even before you start reading this post. Being uncomfortable is never easy and it has a certain degree of pain to it. The pain may not hurt us but it is good pain that helps us step out of our comfort zone . So what is stepping out of our comfort zone or what is doing the uncomfortable? 1) Ever gone bungee jumping but the fear of height holds you back? Well, the moment you jump off that cliff is you stepping out of your comfort zone. 2) Been to certain parts of Asia and trying out their exotic delicacies such as cockroaches, worms and millipede? Well, that too is doing the uncomfortable. ok! Maybe the first two example maybe a little drastic, let me tone that down. 3) Hate vegetable? Especially the greens? The moment you decided to start eating them is you stepping out of your comfort zone. Well, these are just examples, because all of us find discomfort in different things, but you get the idea, right? So why do I invite you to do the uncomfortable? This is because most of us don’t want to be in an uncomfortable state neither do we want to do something uncomfortable, so we subconsciously run away from it. I am sure you feel that "There's nothing wrong with being comfortable?" Nothing wrong you say? When we refused to step out of our comfort zone, we are constraining ourselves in one spot and refusing ourselves from improving and growing. The world is so big and there are so many uncomfortable experiences yet we only choose to participate in ones that we are most comfortable in; have you realized how much more are we missing out? Imagine missing on life’s greatest once in a lifetime experiences; instead many of us choose to wind up getting stuck in an endless "I'm doing just fine here" cycle. It’s 2019, you may be in your early 20s, late 20s, 30s, 40s but all this doesn't matter at all. Are you not tired of dealing with the same types of problem and being in the same spot for years? Imagine being stuck there for another 20 years? Hate the sight of it? Then it’s time to break the cycle and began by embracing discomfort in your life. Every single mistakes, every single heartaches, and discomforts is a stepping stone to the next level. How many more levels you need to get to until you reached your goal? Here are 3 uncomfortable things that you should start right away: *1. Do the uncomfortable things.* Lose the expectation that everything in life should be easier. There are no shortcuts to achieving our life goals. We got to hustle our way thru and achieve it. So what there are challenges in achieving what you want? Embrace it, fight it, learn from it, be patient with yourself, and and most importantly realized that patience is not just about waiting - it’s the ability to keep a good attitude while working hard on your goals. *2. Repeat! On loop!* Ever heard of anyone winning the game of chess by moving forward only? Think about how this relates to your life. Sometimes you may feel as if you are running into a dead end and it does not seems to end there? Maybe it’s a sign telling you that you’re not on the right path. Maybe you were meant to go left instead of going right? Even a game of chess gradually teaches us that it is ok to move backwards. When you feel like giving up? Think twice. Instead of giving up, you can choose to starting over again in the right direction. *3. Keep track on our energy* Don't adapt to the energy in the room, instead influence the energy in the room. When you enter a room and its brings your confidence level down, are you going to give in to that energy? In order to attract better outcomes in life, you have to become better on the inside. Always remember to never exchange what you want most for what’s “easiest” at that moment in time. It’s time to focus on what really matters. |

| title | I am inviting you today to start doing something uncomfortable that will move your life forward. |
| body | What?! It’s time to focus on what really matters. |

| title | Regrets in life |
| body | Have you ever think back and regret the decisions you have made or have not done in life? My regrets are mostly on things I had not done in life. Since things that is done is a thing in the past, we can only looked forward. So what I have not done and could have done but regret in life? 1) I regret not travelling early. I only travel abroad on my own with a friend at the age of 29. It is not that I don't want to travel on my own but I was constantly protected by my parents. At the age of 29, I finally convinced them that I am capable of travelling on my own. And I finally did. Travelling abroad is an eye-opener. Parents out there, don't hold your child back when they voiced out about travelling solo or with a friend. Instead, teach them to protect themselves, teach them to be independent, teach them to be street smart. Every youth are constantly being restricted by boundaries set by parents, school and society. This boundaries are holding them back from who they really are. Don't restrict them, instead let them do it under your watchful eyes. Once you know that they are ready, slowly loosen your grip. You will never know what are they capable of unless you learn to hold on to them loosely. Realised that i stated hold on to them loosely instead of letting go of them. No parents on their right mind will ever let go fully on their children. This especially applies to Asian parents, they will never let go even after their children is married and have kids. I am sure glad that my parents are not the typical Asian parents, in fact they can't wait for me to get married and leave the house. I think I might disappoint them in this area. Mummy, daddy! I'm not getting married so soon, most probably in 2 to 3 years time. 2) I regret not following my passion of dancing after a number of obstacles. I used to dance a lot. I love the limelight, the applause, and I enjoy every movement on my body. Each steps, each moves makes me feel calm and being myself. Slowly, people around me are restricting me from certain moves, steps and forcing me to change my routine. I started to hate dancing and suddenly I just decided to stopped dancing all together. Whenever I was asked, why did you stopped dancing? I will always reply "Oh! I hurt my ankle, that's why." Well, I did hurt my ankle multiple times, but that didn't stopped me but its the comments from those around me. My parents are constantly supporting my dreams but I chose to give in to those who is not supportive of my dreams. Today, I have learned to blocked those who is negative and totally ignored them. Not easy but its really easy for me now. Today, I have decided to pick up dancing again. Looking for a dance school nearby my house and allowing myself to be at my happiest again. Of cos there are more regrets, but this 2 regrets are more relatable to most people. I know there are many who encountered the same as I did and I hope you didn't allowed it to affect you. I took years to overcome it. I hope you can overcome it in the shortest time possible. I will end this post by giving you 3 words. **"JUST BE YOU"** Till next post. With love, Nastaasiah |

Since things that is done is a thing in the past, we can only looked forward. So what I have not done and could have done but regret in life?\n\n1) I regret not travelling early.
