| title | The Potential "Backdoor" to Bitcoin Profits Unveiled |
| body | ![bitcoin-2007769_1920_large[1].jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXMpg321yhrkySzZwvpdZAA8pTnVWqbVCtxF96tD6K7fc/bitcoin-2007769_1920_large%5B1%5D.jpg) Legendary investor David Gardner unveiled his latest stock pick... and I haven’t been this excited about a brand-new recommendation in a long time! Because his latest recommendation is a "backdoor" opportunity into a big trend that's become the financial story of 2017. I’m talking about Bitcoin — which has surged 659% just this year alone creating a new wave of "Bitcoin millionaires" in the process. Turn the clock back a little bit further and $1,000 invested into Bitcoin 7 years ago turned into more than $30 million today. Of course -- there's a downside and reason so many investors have yet to touch Bitcoin. It's volatile, having had massive sell-offs of 38%, 40%, and 29% in just the past six months! And it's hard to buy and own. That is... until now. That's because David Gardner's newest recommendation is a savvy backdoor way to position your portfolio to capture the upside of the Bitcoin boom... This new recommendation -- just announced -- is creating a way to bring Bitcoin into the mainstream financial world. So even if Bitcoin soars another 1,000%... drops 50%... or sits flat for the next year, this company is positioned to profit so long as people are trading the digital currency. This is an amazing opportunity! Just the other day, $9 billion worth of Bitcoin exchanged hands... That's twice as much trading as happened in the world's largest stock -- Apple! And here's why we're so excited... When this company's new Bitcoin exchange opens in a few short weeks, we believe the volume of Bitcoin trading could soar even higher. But please note: As of right now, you could miss out because you may not be eligible to access David's pick. You see, David Gardner only releases these recommendations to members of his service, Motley Fool Stock Advisor. Lucky for you, it's not too late to join, so I'm going to show you the simple steps to secure access today. It's very telling that David couldn’t wait any longer to recommend a stock with a potential upside this massive. Even though timing isn’t everything, history shows that it can pay to move early on stocks like this one -- especially when you consider David's average pick in Stock Advisor is up 424%! (And yes, that includes all his winners and losers!) Don’t miss out. There's still time to get the full story on this remarkable company. Access the details behind David's newest ideas This is your chance to get in early on of what could prove to be a very special investment recommendation. Think about how many investing trends you've missed out on, even though you knew they were going to be big. Don't let that happen again. This is your chance to get in early. I urge you to take action today so you can learn the time-tested tactics savvy investors are using to systematically build their wealth. Simply enter your email address below to get started. |

| title | Bitcoin is hot, but good luck using it |
| body | Bitcoin seems to be everywhere these days. Finding a place to spend it is another matter entirely. That flies in the face of popular perception that businesses are trumpeting the acceptance of the digital currency as a form of payment. Looking for a mate? OkCupid stopped accepting cryptopayments a year ago. Booking a flight? Expedia.com and Virgin Atlantic both dabbled in bitcoin but now don't accept it for airfare. A Holiday Inn in Brooklyn no longer books beds for bitcoins. Nor can you raise a pint at north London pub Pembury Tavern, which received some press a few years ago for entering the digital currency economy but has since, like others, quietly exited. And chowing down with bitcoin is getting complicated. The website airbitz.com lists just three restaurants in Manhattan where diners can pay with bitcoin. Two have closed. A third, Melt Bakery, which sells only ice cream sandwiches, accepts bitcoin, but the last time it did was July 2. And while the website of Piccola Venezia, an upscale Italian restaurant in Astoria, Queens, says "bitcoin accepted here," I wouldn't make the trek. The person who answered the phone there said bitcoins were not welcome. "It's a big mistake." It does looks as if pizza lovers can get Domino's delivered in Brooklyn with bitcoin through a website called Pizzaforcoins.com, but it will cost them. A large pie with one topping (and the website forces you to get at least one topping -- I went with extra cheese) was 0.0036 bitcoin when I checked on Thursday, which translated to $34.12 before tip. It normally costs $8.70. None of this is likely to rattle investors who are rushing into bitcoin. Its use as a medium of exchange has become entirely beside the point. Most of what has been propelling the cryptocurrency's remarkable rise recently has been, as in any bubble, the fact that the price has been climbing rapidly. The rise justifies the rise. And many bitcoin investors now view bitcoin more akin to gold than say dollars or any other traditional currency. ![BBG11yI[1].png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSqmfxoJD7KUN2mevYzqzWQW8zJNtqh3aBMkegoo5XCtj/BBG11yI%5B1%5D.png) But at least part of what underpinned bitcoin's more than 900 percent jump this year, at least initially, was the idea that bitcoin's acceptance, and use, was spreading more widely. A key aspect of bitcoin is that it is a cheap way to complete transactions without the middleman. Earlier this year, bitcoin investor and author Chris Burniske gave a presentation about the network value-to-transaction ratio, which compares the value of all bitcoins to transactions being done in the currency. Some have dubbed the ratio "bitcoin's P/E" and used it to argue against a bubble. The idea, though, that bitcoin is being rapidly adopted, or even just gradually, is a myth. In 2013, a number of retailers and companies, large and small, started accepting bitcoin. Four years later, shoppers can't use it at any large physical retailer. What's more, not only have Walmart and The Gap not adopted bitcoin, many of the places that said they would no longer do. A long list of merchants that take bitcoin has circulated the Internet for the past few years, published most recently on 99bitcoins.com. But the list is mostly bogus. Many of the businesses on the list no longer take bitcoin or never did. There is a bitcoin payment button for online electronics retailer Newegg.com, but when I tried to use it for a Nintendo Switch, it didn't work. Even Bloomberg is on the list, but my colleagues in billing say you can't pay your terminal fee in bitcoin. Nor can you get a subscription to BusinessWeek or any of Bloomberg's other publications or services. On Thursday, Mike Bloomberg threw some cold water on the idea that bitcoins would be used widely anytime soon. You can, in a roundabout way, use bitcoin to buy groceries at Whole Foods, but only after buying a gift card from eGifter, which is really no different from having to convert bitcoins back into cash before using them. And a number of web reviews of eGifter suggest the process is not painless or quick. An eGifter spokersperson said customers can use bitcoin, but the transaction is "slightly more complicated" than using cash.. ![BBG0LDv[1].png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmUtdFGxCsenPt5UQm9YVkvH41CP2U7QRq59NqUw1WZW5h/BBG0LDv%5B1%5D.png) Even so, a number of sites that track bitcoin, like Blockchain.info, show that use is up. On average, the daily value of bitcoin transactions has risen just more than 400 percent this year compared with the first 11 months of last year, according to Blockchain.info. But given the fact the number of places accepting it is falling, that seems hard to believe. The number is supposed to track just the volume of bitcoins used to buy actual goods or services. Even bitcoin believer Burniske thinks the figure has likely been inflated by all the people who have rushed into bitcoin as an investment. Worse, the cost to complete those transactions is rising even faster, with fees charged up nearly 2,200 percent this year, although it's still minuscule on an absolute level, a fee of just 0.05 percent of the average transaction this year. ![BBG0QCf[1].png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXicYsSrzQU4ysSJ3gN1yG4aGCnZLVWPmyzE4T5DHKC7N/BBG0QCf%5B1%5D.png) Again, none of this will likely pierce the frenzy around bitcoin. Who in their right mind would spend the stuff now anyway, even if they could? This column does not necessarily reflect the opinion of Bloomberg LP and its owners. Stephen Gandel is a Bloomberg Gadfly columnist coet.vering equity markets. He was previously a deputy digital editor for Fortune and an economics blogger at Time. He has also covered finance and the housing mark |

![BBG0QCf[1].png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXicYsSrzQU4ysSJ3gN1yG4aGCnZLVWPmyzE4T5DHKC7N/BBG0QCf%5B1%5D.png)\n\nAgain, none of this will likely pierce the frenzy around bitcoin. Who in their right mind would spend the stuff now anyway, even if they could?\n\nThis column does not necessarily reflect the opinion of Bloomberg LP and its owners.\nStephen Gandel is a Bloomberg Gadfly columnist coet.vering equity markets.\nHe was previously a deputy digital editor for Fortune and an economics blogger at Time. He has also covered finance and the housing mark",

| title | Bitcoin rebounds to $10,500 after regulator approves futures |
| body | Bitcoin rebounded Friday above $10,500, recovering from an earlier dip below $9,500, after the U.S. derivatives regulator said it would allow CME Group and CBOE Global Markets to list bitcoin futures. The announcement by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission paves the way for CME and CBOE to become the first traditional U.S. regulated exchanges to launch trading in bitcoin-related financial contracts, a watershed moment for the cryptocurrency that could lead to greater regulatory scrutiny. Bitcoin, which had been trading at around $10,150 on the Luxembourg-based Bitstamp exchange (BTC=BTSP) before the news, jumped to as high as $10,513 in the 20 minutes that followed, leaving it up more than 5 percent on the day. It has been a volatile week for the biggest and best-known cryptocurrency. On Wednesday, bitcoin smashed through $10,000 before rocketing past $11,000 less than 12 hours later to an all time-high of $11,395, and then plunging around 20 percent in the hours that followed. |

| title | BitFury is preparing to establish one of the largest mining companies in Europe and is attracting attention with the moves made in this direction. |
| body | Semenov Artem, president of the sales department of the international mining platform BitFerry, and Alex Kim, president of the giant computer company Asus' representation offices in Europe and Russia, signed a partnership agreement on October 23rd. With this deal, the BitFerry platform will become one of the first platforms to reach the new graphics card development. For the platform's customers, implementing direct applications for cryptographic hardware and driving new products to the mining market are among those developments. Crypto parables have settled in modern chronicles quite quickly. This rapid entry led to the purchase of multiple video cards on the shelves of stores. Others thought of ways to "win a pair of bitcoins" in a panic, while others were already on their way to reaching powerful and profitable miners. Since bitcoin mining requires increasing costs in terms of capacity and energy, Chinese partners have put forward a special ASUS equipment tailored to the ecosystem of cryptographic servers. Furthermore, "Asustek Computer" is widely spoken on the market in 2018, with the view that the current largest motherboard and graphics card supplier will be replaced. The main objective of the partnership between BitFerry and the two companies, "ASUS"; can be interpreted as putting out a common crypto coin product with extraordinary productivity, which can amortize itself within a few months due to the hash ratio and even meet the most ambitious expectations. You can visit BitFerry's website to access more information about the project and join the project. bitferry.pro/ |

| title | Tesla's founder, Elon Musk, introduced the new vehicles: electric truck and 'world's fastest serial production car' |
| body | ![_98790405_hi043050165[2].jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmfM7uToEwta9mVLQNyfEx8BrgURzb6tNEiBZJhgtEPsvi/_98790405_hi043050165%5B2%5D.jpg) Elon Musk, owner of a US-based Tesla motors automotive company known for investments in electric motor technology, announced two new vehicles the company is preparing to drive into the market. The first car was the world's first electric truck![_98791049_hi043050255[2].jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmbR3KezhnHK8QDAYVMYEBSN5m8NiYwddULNcPuo9wY4f9/_98791049_hi043050255%5B2%5D.jpg) The Tesla Semi truck was introduced to the public at an airport in Los Angeles. Musk said the electric truck project is a big step in reducing the world's use of fossil fuels. Tesla Semi, which can travel 800 kilometers after being charged, was manufactured to remove the load capacity that the largest transport trucks can carry. Diesel-powered trucks can travel 1,600 miles with a single tank. However, Elon Musk says Tesla Semi cost 20 percent less than diesel trucks when it comes to the cost of filling the tank. Tesla Semi's electric battery is mounted inside the chassis. The truck has four electric motors for four rear wheels separately. The driver's seat of the truck is also placed for better visibility. To the right and left of the steering wheel there is one touch screen. ![_98791051_hi043050263[1].jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZXUB1LJPUFBkdSnCZsMoXoEyFiAdxkH4JuQzwEZADgUh/_98791051_hi043050263%5B1%5D.jpg)![_98791053_hi043050262[1].jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZ6qzBE1mN7rLEd9uevadm5QEHbEAyast19KZVdn9gswn/_98791053_hi043050262%5B1%5D.jpg) The company aims to start mass production of electric truck in 2019. |

| title | There will come a day and it will be too late for all.. |
| body | As the name implies, this warning letter follows a similar warning issued in 1992. Scientists doubt the wholesale demolition of the biosphere that 25 years later they received a similar warning letter. In the first warning in 1992, it was revealed with striking examples that human civilization harmed the natural life of the world. The destruction of rain forests by bulldozers, uncontrolled catching of the oceanic fish, and of course the carbon gases released into the atmosphere. In general, all this clearly shows why scientists are concerned about our planet. Unfortunately, even though it has been over 25 years since the first warning, mankind does not seem to be reasoned. Humanity continues to be the cancer cell of the Earth, where it paces, breathes and owes its existence. In a letter to more than 15 scientists from 184 countries: "Since 1992, humanity has taken firm steps to stabilize the stratospheric ozone layer, but has failed to make enough progress on the environmental issues that need to be solved and the situation is worse and worse." Well, what has changed on our planet since your scientists first warned us in 1992? The situation looks pretty bad. Here are a few examples: -Per capita clean water sources have declined by 25 percent -Number of dead zones in the ocean increased by 75 percent -Approximately 300 million acres of global forest cover have been lost -The total number of wild vertebrates in the world is reduced by 30 percent -Carbon dioxide emissions causing climate change have increased from 20 billion tonnes per year to 40 billion tonnes Scientists who say that countries around the world should work together to avoid an ecological apocalypse say that much more robust steps must be taken to protect and repair land, reduce economic inequality and promote green energy. Our planet has never been in the last years: global warming, hunger, war and nuclear weapon threats. Maybe it will be too late when the human beings, who are struggling to put an end to their own existence and the world they live in, are aware of everything. We are all killing ourselves. Why? |

| title | Electrical ''planes'' coming |

The use of electric planes may be particularly effective in the disinfection of agricultural areas. It is estimated that these aircraft, which are ordered in Norway, will be actively used by 2018. The plane is currently traveling for at most 1 hour. However, it is obvious that it is much more economical and environmentally friendly than existing aircraft fuels. Shuan may produce a small personal airplane model and future passenger aircraft production may come into question. And giants like Airbus are also working on electric plane models. |

Tillerson has initiated as he reshapes the department, the one person who seemed least likely to be a target was the chief of security, Bill A. Miller. Republicans pilloried Hillary Clinton for what they claimed was her inadequate attention to security as secretary of state in the months before the deadly 2012 attacks in Benghazi, Libya. Congress even passed legislation mandating that the department’s top security official have unrestricted access to the secretary of state. But in his first nine months in office, Mr. Tillerson turned down repeated and sometimes urgent requests from the department’s security staff to brief him, according to several former top officials in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. Finally, Mr. Miller, the acting assistant secretary for diplomatic security, was forced to cite the law’s requirement that he be allowed to speak to Mr. Tillerson. Mr. Miller got just five minutes with the secretary of state, the former officials said. Afterward, Mr. Miller, a career Foreign Service officer, was pushed out, joining a parade of dismissals and early retirements that has decimated the State Department’s senior ranks. Mr. Miller declined to comment. The departures mark a new stage in the broken and increasingly contentious relationship between Mr. Tillerson and much of his department’s work force. By last spring, interviews at the time suggested, the guarded optimism that greeted his arrival had given way to concern among diplomats about his aloofness and lack of communication. By the summer, the secretary’s focus on efficiency and reorganization over policy provoked off-the-record anger. Now the estrangement is in the open, as diplomats going out the door make their feelings known and members of Congress raise questions about the impact of their leaving. In a letter to Mr. Tillerson last week, Democratic members of the House Foreign Relations Committee, citing what they said was “the exodus of more than 100 senior Foreign Service officers from the State Department since January,” expressed concern about “what appears to be the intentional hollowing-out of our senior diplomatic ranks.” Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona, and Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Democrat of New Hampshire, sent a similar letter, telling Mr. Tillerson that “America’s diplomatic power is being weakened internally as complex global crises are growing externally.” Mr. Tillerson, a former chief executive of Exxon Mobil, has made no secret of his belief that the State Department is a bloated bureaucracy and that he regards much of the day-to-day diplomacy that lower-level officials conduct as unproductive. Even before Mr. Tillerson was confirmed, his staff fired six of the State Department’s top career diplomats, including Patrick Kennedy, who had been appointed to his position by President George W. Bush. Kristie Kenney, the department’s counselor and one of just five career ambassadors, was summarily fired a few weeks later. None were given any reason for their dismissals, although Mr. Kennedy and Ms. Kenney had been reprimanded by Trump transition officials for answering basic logistical questions from Nikki R. Haley, President Trump’s pick as United Nations ambassador. Mr. Tillerson is widely believed to dislike Ms. Haley, who has been seen as a possible successor if Mr. Tillerson steps down. In the following months, Mr. Tillerson launched a reorganization that he has said will be the most important thing he will do, and he has hired two consulting companies to lead the effort. Since he decided before even arriving at the State Department to slash its budget by 31 percent, many in the department have always seen the reorganization as a smoke screen for drastic cuts. Mr. Tillerson has frozen most hiring and recently offered a $25,000 buyout in hopes of pushing nearly 2,000 career diplomats and civil servants to leave by October 2018. His small cadre of aides have fired some diplomats and gotten others to resign by refusing them the assignments they wanted or taking away their duties altogether. Among those fired or sidelined were most of the top African-American and Latino diplomats, as well as many women, difficult losses in a department that has long struggled with diversity. One of them was Linda Thomas-Greenfield, a career Foreign Service officer who served as ambassador to Liberia under Mr. Bush and as director general of the Foreign Service and assistant secretary for African Affairs during the Obama administration. Ms. Thomas-Greenfield was among those asked to leave by Mr. Tillerson’s staff, but she appealed and remained until her retirement in September. “I don’t feel targeted as an African-American,” she said. “I feel targeted as a professional.” For those who have not been dismissed, retirement has become a preferred alternative when, like Mr. Miller, they find no demand for their expertise. A retirement class that concludes this month has 26 senior employees, including two acting assistant secretaries in their early 50s who would normally wait years before leaving. The number of those with the department’s top two ranks of career ambassador and career minister — equivalent to four- and three-star generals — will have been cut in half by Dec. 1, from 39 to 19. And of the 431 minister-counselors, who have two-star-equivalent ranks, 369 remain and another 14 have indicated that they will leave soon — an 18 percent drop — according to an accounting provided by the American Foreign Service Association. The political appointees who normally join the department after a change in administration have not made up for those departures. So far, just 10 of the top 44 political positions in the department have been filled, and for most of the vacancies, Mr. Tillerson has not nominated anyone. “Leadership matters,” said Nancy McEldowney, a former ambassador who retired in June after a 30-year career as a Foreign Service officer. “There’s a vacuum throughout the State Department, and the junior people now working in these top jobs lack the confidence and credibility that comes from a presidential nomination and Senate confirmation.” Even more departures are expected as a result of an intense campaign that Mr. Tillerson has ordered to reduce the department’s longtime backlog of Freedom of Information Act requests. CNN reported that the task had resulted from Mr. Trump’s desire to accelerate the release of Mrs. Clinton’s remaining emails. Every bureau in the department has been asked to contribute to the effort. That has left midlevel employees and diplomats — including some just returning from high-level or difficult overseas assignments — to spend months performing mind-numbing clerical functions beside unpaid interns. Mr. Tillerson’s spokesman, R. C. Hammond, dismissed any suggestion that the departures had had a negative effect. “There are qualified people who are delivering on America’s diplomatic mission,” Mr. Hammond said. “It’s insulting to them every time someone comes up to them and says that the State Department is being gutted.” Former State Department officials disagree. “The United States is at the center of every crisis around the world, and you simply cannot be effective if you don’t have assistant secretaries and ambassadors in place,” said R. Nicholas Burns, a retired career diplomat who was an under secretary of state for President George W. Bush. “It shows a disdain for diplomacy. ” One result is that there is no one in place with responsibilities for some key trouble spots. Although the North Korean nuclear crisis is the Trump administration’s top priority, the administration has yet to nominate an assistant secretary for East Asia or an ambassador to South Korea, crucial positions to deal with the issue. In the midst of the war in Syria and growing worries over a possible conflict between Saudi Arabia and Iran, there is no confirmed assistant secretary for Near Eastern affairs or ambassadors to Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt or Qatar. And as Zimbabwe confronts the future after the departure of Robert Mugabe, the department is lacking a confirmed assistant secretary for African affairs or an ambassador to neighboring South Africa. And the department’s future effectiveness may also be threatened. As more senior officials depart, interest in joining the Foreign Service is dwindling. With fewer prospects for rewarding careers, the number of people taking its entrance exam is on track to drop by 50 percent this year, according to the Foreign Service Association. “The message from the State Department right now is, ‘We don’t want you,’ and students are hearing that,” said James Goldgeier, former dean of the School of International Service at American University. For many at the State Department, their experience under Mr. Tillerson has been a particular shock because their hopes for him were initially high. Mrs. Clinton and John Kerry, her successor, were both seen as focused on their own priorities and were not particularly popular within the department. The model secretaries in recent history have been Colin Powell, James A. Baker III and George P. Shultz, Republicans who cared about management. “Everyone who called me, I said: ‘Listen, guys, this is going to be great, and maybe he’ll finally get the department in shape,’” said Dana Shell Smith, the ambassador to Qatar, who recently resigned. Since then, Ms. Smith has changed her mind. “These people either do not believe the U.S. should be a world leader, or they’re utterly incompetent,” she said. “Either way, having so many vacancies in essential places is a disaster waiting to happen.” |

| title | Russian Experts Develop Non-Breakable Security System |
| body | Despite the fingerprint and face recognition systems available in our smartphones, we are still not entirely sure of our safety. The new security system developed by Russian experts can completely eliminate our privacy concerns. Experts from the Moscow International Center for Nuclear Researches in Russia succeeded in developing a security system based on human behavior patterns. What does it mean to use behavior as a security system? Namely; each individual's grip on the device, the touch on the screen, or the way in which the applications are used differ from one to the other and are irreducible. ![rus-uzmanlar-kirilamaz-guvenlik-sistemi-gelistirdi[1].jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZyi6378pVQj6QKStrWGtZHBwDJYDFoNz5fZtY6ZYXZPg/rus-uzmanlar-kirilamaz-guvenlik-sistemi-gelistirdi%5B1%5D.jpg) Experts say this system will provide unparalleled security because these behavioral features are not lost, copied or stolen. Russian experts have stated that they have exploits in their fingerprint and face recognition systems, but that the "behavioral lock" they developed is "irreparable." In the aforementioned security system, it is possible to determine that the owner or the owner of the device is using the recorded behavior parameters. In the digital era that we are in, our greatest concern is the security of our personal data. The error margin in Touch ID is 1 in 50,000; In Face ID, it's 1 in 1,000,000. But the Russian experts, in the "behavioral lock" and even the slightest margin of error is not in view. Which one is the most robust security system for you? Do not forget to share your comments with us. |

| title | Elon Musk has finished building the world's biggest battery in less than 100 days |
| body | ![BBFzjWz[4].png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmdvbFNk8mBpCBeyPK1TJ2zwoD9E8XmLM9ePhm2vidV84R/BBFzjWz%5B4%5D.png) Elon Musk looks to have delivered on his promise to build the biggest lithium ion battery in the world in an effort to help South Australia with its crippling energy problems. “100 days from contract signature or it’s free,” Musk tweeted at the time, in a deal initially negotiated over Twitter. Musk is well ahead of schedule (a rarity for Tesla!), with the 100MW battery set to be energised and tested in the coming days, according to a press release from the local state government. Tesla Powerpacks have been installed and connected at Neoen's Hornsdale windfarm, north of Adelaide, and battery tests will be run to ensure local regulatory requirements are met before it begins operating on December 1st. South Australia suffered a state wide blackout last September, which sparked a highly politicized national debate about energy security. The Australian Government blamed the failure of renewable energy to cover usage. Musk's battery farm stores huge amounts of energy from renewable sources like wind and solar, and funnels it out to the grid when usage is high. ![BBFwPMG[2].jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQUdvefLH2RhYjygBYy8UvH5fruTBSty1Wqru2FbYzTzT/BBFwPMG%5B2%5D.jpg) "The world’s largest lithium ion battery will be an important part of our energy mix, and it sends the clearest message that South Australia will be a leader [sic] renewable energy with battery storage," South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill said in a statement. "An enormous amount of work has gone in to delivering this project in such a short time." Musk made his promise in March on Twitter and the 100-day countdown started at the end of September after the company inked a deal with the South Australian government. Musk essentially delivered his promise in about two months, well short of the self-imposed 100-day deadline. The battery is estimated to cost at least $50 million. |
