      "body": "One thing that I have learned, as a web developer and designer for well over a decade now professionally (even longer than that overall, I started with self-taught HTML at age 10 in 1996) is that the more you put things off to try and plan for them, the further you find yourself waiting and then one day you'll notice that a ton of time has gone by.  At least that's how it's worked for me at stretches in the past, until I was able to put that bad habit behind me.  Procrastination is a real killer, especially when we can convince ourselves that we are just being meticulous or thorough in our planning/preparation.  The best work I've ever created, the projects that have gotten the most positive feedback and led to tons of opportunities for myself, have all been ones that I just went with and worked hard to hit the ground running, not focusing entirely on every tiny aspect of them.  Then once they would have a base of content or a sense of purpose making them operational, I would continue to work away at the project because in reality, nothing in our world is ever truly completed and it's easy to become obsessed with nit-picky little stuff, especially as a perfectionist.  One example I give is a friend who was all intent on starting his own livestreaming show/channel on YouTube.  He talked about it for months and months, did a ton of research into the various equipment necessary, learned how to do the software, went out and purchased all kind of stuff like cameras, lighting, green screen, an encoder and switcher, an upgraded computer, etc.  By the time he was \"ready to start\" he was still internally deliberating over whether or not his microphone was \"good enough\", when in the 3 years he spent in preparation, a channel who had started at the same time using nothing but the bare-bones setup and equipment they already had, is now an established channel with over 40k subscribers who streams regularly to over 2500 people at a time, and they have upgraded their stuff with a whole studio of their own.  He's still waiting to start.  Just some friendly advice, don't let yourself be held back by arbitrary constraints.  The phones we all carry around every day are more than powerful enough, if used correctly, to create some incredible content far more sophisticated than the best computer on the market could do even a few short years back.  Do what I did to get out my rut, start making, keep making.  Force yourself to do it every day, and stick to it.  Before you know it, you'll be in the groove of things.",

I'll have to take a look for it online, do you know if the first season as a whole has been released yet, or are they doing a traditional releasing format seeing as it's HBO?  Not too sure if they'll do the more common (and much preferred...by me anyway) method of dropping the full new season all in one go -- it definitely confirms any of my opinions on a particular show being worth watching or not if I notice all of a sudden that I've managed to binge stream through the first 4, 5 episodes without a hitch.  It's happened more times than I'd care to admit.\n\nAlso, as an aside - I know that while your hesitations regarding European-based production work on film/TV series (especially the latter) is somewhat deserved, given a lot of the poor output in years/decades past as well as the former limitations of creating for a much smaller, restricted audience(s) on low budgets with no star talent most of the time and for a part of the world - most of Europe - with people who until rather recently didn't watch much electronic media in general, particularly TV though, compared to somewhere like America.\n\nHowever, times have certainly changed for the better over the last 10-15 years.  Very much so in the past couple of years, in particular.  One of the hands-down all time BEST original television series, in my opinion as an ardent lover of cinema/storytelling/film making and someone who has logged an innumerable number of hours (easily many tens of thousands) all of the various aspects that must be executed perfectly in order to call a film or a television series truly GREAT...is the German-produced series \"Babylon Berlin\" - which was/is the most expensive television series ever made, and it shows in the impeccable quality of production design/set design, accuracy of even the smallest details throughout the series which is a period piece set in the interwar period in Weimar Germany, specifically in Berlin.  Such a fantastic series, definitely recommend watching this one for sure.",

      "body": "I dunno, it'll take me some time to process this and only time will be the true judge of whether or not this is successful, but I think that this could ultimately tank DTube.  So many sites that don't require the use of being on a blockchain or integration with something like steem seem to be jumping on the bandwagon of doing so because it's the 'hip' thing to do, right now, to have the word 'blockchain' or 'decentralized' lumped in with ANYTHING regardless of whether or not it makes sense.\n\nThose of us that are here and are commenting are the .0001% of internet users who are ahead of the curve, and instead of doing things that make the process of posting our content that we've created online MORE complicated (and unnecessarily so!) we should be instead focusing on providing solutions that deal with the growing threat of censorship and shadowbanning/manipulation on behalf of places like Google, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.  99.9%+ of the 'normies' who are browsing the internet, they JUST want it to work.  Even young people in their 20s find cryptocurrency stuff to be far too complicated to use, hence the popularity of stuff like coinbase or cash app for purchasing BTC, which is the best you might be able to get them to do in most situations. \n\nWant to build a successful site?  Focus less on adding in features that very few people total will ever use and that require more time to develop/maintain than to be worthwhile, and instead, build a site that has videos with the ability of being viewable of over 480p resolution.  Also, your idea that certain videos should be uploaded to DTube or YouTube or whatever even confused me, and I've been around on Steemit since it first came out (though I'll admit, the lack of activity had me only return recently to see if things had changed).
