Aunque causó sensación en Venezuela, nació en Francia en la localidad de Issy-les-Moulineaux el 10 de marzo de 1966, es decir que ahorita tendría unos 49 años. No se sabe si sus padres aún viven, pero sus nacionalidades (su madre española y su padre portugués) le transmitieron a una pequeña Nathalie, el interés por los idiomas y nuevas culturas.\n\n\nSu padre fungía como diplomático, y cuando la joven cumplió 15 años dejaron París por Portugal.
